Lovely place, great food and servers. Ordered online and forgot to order a korma for the litlen, gave them a ring and they sent one down with no delivery free. Wonderful people xx

Gone down hill since it’s been taken over, started ok but def loosing there flare. Samosas we’re bland, butterfly prawn w’as more bread than prawn. Vindaloo just hot and tasteless. Yeah not great.

Been ordering takeaways from New Magna for the last few months. Never had a problem with them. I have tried lots of their dishes and the food is always enjoyable and tasty. Delivery is very quick usually arriving early and my food has never been cold. A decent Indian that has become my local favourite.

Really disappointed with my order. I was at an address five minutes away from the restaurant but the food was cold when it arrived. It cost over £30 for a Biriani, curry, rice and naan. I ordered a cheese naan but a plain naan was delivered. If I had paid by card I would be seeking a refund. Also the portions were really small. Perhaps I'm privileged to ordinarily order my Indian takeaway in Chichester where there is more choice and less of a monopoly. I really think that if the people of Selsey had more options they wouldn't be giving five star reviews at this takeaway. And they would be ordering elsewhere.

I've lived in the area for a couple of years but somehow never tried this great Indian restaurant. Having been in London for most of my life I had been to quite a variety of Indian restaurants. This one is outstanding, with both food quality & choice, friendly & helpful staff & relaxed atmosphere. Music playing quietly in background. Last week when I visited on my own in the evening it was quite busy & it was clearly for the most part people repeat visiting & locals. There's a very good choice of menu & I recommend in particular the nan bread & the lovely fragrant & fluffy pilau rice. The staff took pains to explain the contents of the dishes I enquired about. Thank you all staff. I will be back.

We were staying in the area so thought we would try out this restaurant, it was a good choice. Food was good, staff were attentive and, although quiet and early evening, there was still a nice atmosphere with a range of music being played. Everything seemed fairly priced. The tikka masala and peshwari naan were the highlights. We will return!

Don't go there if you're hungry. It takes ages and the staff. So many tables who ordered after us got theirs earlier. No apology nothing, even though we were there with our kids.

Vile food!! We ordered a takeaway last weekend, the food was absolutely disgusting! The chicken madras just tasted of curry powder, no flavour whatsoever! The prawn on puree was served with a creamy korma sauce, which is not prawn on puree, absolutely unheard of! Prawn on puree is always served with a delicious tomato and lightly spicy sauce We regularly have indian takeway and I can honestly say this was by far the worst we have ever tasted! I would love to see their kitchen, I can only imagine that nothing is cooked from fresh ingredients, just cheap powder, additives and colouring. We threw the lot away in the bin, a complete waste of £45.00.

Asked for as b extra hot vindaloo but the lid said not too hot. So question why did I ask for it to be hotter just shows staff don't listen to their customers

We are at the end of our holiday in Selsey and it’s tradition for us to have a nice meal out for our last evening. We came across this restaurant doing an online search and thought we would give it a go after reading some great reviews. What can I say? Well, the service was at a high standard as well as the food. We found all the staff, friendly and very polite. My fussy son had the chicken nuggets, which he loved. We went all out with it being our last meal and over ordered but came away with extremely full tummy’s. My older son wasn’t sure about having Indian but he absolutely loved it and we realised that it’s his first time (eating in). He is autistic and is funny about his hands so when the warm hand wipes came out it made his day, he would usually be in the bathroom washing his hands. He commented on the service after we left. Highly recommend, worth the 5 stars.

The food iand service s excellent it is under new management and really 100% better. I had the Chicken Shalick was very tasty and fresh ,plenty of meat and taste.

Excellent service. Rarely down here but visited twice in the week. Chicken Jalfrezi first time and Bangalore fish curry the 2nd. Both excellent.

Was staying at seal bay caravan site for the weekend and we fancied a curry, asked a member of staff if there was a good takeaway and was told this one! Well it certainly was the food was delicious turned up lovely and hot would definitely recommend. Well done New Magna 🙌🏻

Went for the first time in a few years this week - Tuesday evening quite busy. The service. friendliness of staff & food was excellent. Also pretty good prices for the quality of food. Highly recommended

I had previously left a negative review under the old management (now removed) I have to say I visited last night, new management professional. Smart and attentive. Food was spot 10/10 very reasonable prices. A proper curry house now 🏠 5 star ⭐️

Terrible establishment don’t even know if they do deliveries or not? What kind of place does not know if they deliver in 2023?!!!! This must be some kind of countryside business that Londoners do not know about. Absolute jokers

Since the owner sold this restaurant in November, it has not been the same food wise. Lack of flavor, pilau rice tasteless.... Must do better.

Lovely food, will definitely go back

Ordered a couple of dishes which were in the menu as medium/hot. Had no flavour to either dish it was like lamb in gravy, went straight into the bin. Total waste of money, I will never order or visit this Indian again. Be warned, dishes lack taste and flavour or any spices at all !

We had a takeaway delivered this evening. It took just over an hour due to them being busy but it was definitely worth the wait. Everything we ordered was very tasty & we both thoroughly enjoyed all of it. There were a lot of different dishes to choose from & price wise itge cost for the two of us was very reasonable. Can’t fault anything. Highly recommend the food, service & polite staff on the phone & delivery.

First time since new owners/staff. Great menu..loads of choice. Nice to see different dishes available Chefs specials , owners own dishes makes a pleasant change. Bot pricey at £11 / £12 for main course ,but loads of it. So always a doggy bag to take away. When you take the costs of travel to Chichester and parking Bit of a no brained if your local.

I've been using this restaurant for the last 15 yrs the best around. Never had a bad meal, always friendly staff. It has been taken over just recently and the new owners are keeping up the same high standard of service. Great new menu and delicious food . Highly recommend a visit

Blimey we went out out!!!! First time in a long while and we weren't disappointed. Greeted by lovely friendly staff and the meal was delicious as always. Take aways are great but eating in has the definite edge. Sorry weve5 taken so long to eat in, we have ordered your takeaways though and you never disappoint. We'll be back 😋😋

Any one with any standards of good food wouldn’t be rating this establishment 5 stars , so it’s concerning to think to people this place is good . I stopped for a simple chicken curry and you would be better off with a microwave meal. Maybe it’s because it’s the only curry in however many miles people come here and know different. Maybe should venture out more

Been coming here for our takeaway’s for over 20 years and have received the fantastic level of service and quality food since day one. A family run establishment that takes pride in their food - fantastic! Just about to place an order now - yum!

One of the best Indian take away I had in a long time. 6 of us ordered different food and they were all delicious. The meat was really tender and there was no access oil on the food which normally puts me off. Delivery driver was also really polite.

Travelled down from London for a few days by the beach and decided on ordering in our first night. Firstly I was struck by how friendly the staff were when picking up our order but also by how good the food was! Everything tasted beautiful. Comparable to some of the places you can find on Brick Lane! Really impressed and would definitely recommend. 4 of us are and couldn't fault it. Surprised us with a discount too. Can't recommend enough 👏🏼

Dispointed lack of food and I was sick

Disappointed with my takeaway. The sheek kebab was over cooked, so dry and tough as a result. The keema part of the naan was dry and surprisingly flavourless. The chicken tikka was moist, but as with the other dishes there is a lack in depth of flavour. I wouldn't recommend.

I've given this place a 2nd, 3rd and even 4th chance! The restaurant is hit and miss depends which waiter you get, as someone else here said, you sit down and it's... you want drink poppadoms! Err I'd like to look at the menu to see what drink/food you have first! The food IN the restaurant is more consistent. The takeaway is more miss then hit! You want half cooked chicken? step this way! Just ordered my final meal from this place, half the chicken was cooked nicely the rest was half cooked AGAIN! The sauce was soo bland I could off bought a microwave meal with more taste (garlic chicken tikka). A waste of my hard earned money as it went in the bin AGAIN! How they are still going after all these years is beyond me? A lack off competition in the town probably, (currently only one other indian takeaway). Sadly, I have to say avoid!

The food menu has gone up a bit to much for 3 meat dishes and 2 naans and a portion of chips it was £45 the items we ordered was full of vegetables instead of meat so not sure why we paid more ,very dissatisfied will be going to Jabir on east beach next time cheaper better quality no tangy taste

Bought a prawn bhoona and ticket masala last Thursday. All went in bin, disgusting meal. Never again

Visited tonight whilst in the area and could not fault a thing. Staff very attentive, portions very generous and food delicious. Will definitely visit again if in the area but we're from Kent so not likely to be anytime soon but highly recommend if you do live local to this restaurant

Best Indian restaurant we've been to.we always go there with friends

Booked a table for six people 4 adults 1 child and a baby. Arrived at the restaurant no hello just this is your table we sat down the waiter came over "you want drinks, popadoms" I asked if we could have menus first! Menus given waiter came back asking if we want drinks, popadoms. My daughter asked what she could eat as shes a coeliac. "You can't eat lamb with sauce but you can eat lamb dry, no other explanation. My daughter then went over to the bar area and asked if the popadoms were OK to eat apparently they have wheat in them but we will ask the manager to speak to you so he can explain ingredients. The waiter we had actually turns out to be the manager he tells my daughter he's too busy very very busy and cannot go upstairs to get the allergen folder to explain to her and shooed her away with his hand and said please sit down. I'm very angry with the absolute appaling way he has treated us since we stepped foot in the restaurant. I will NEVER step foot in this restaurant again a disgusting display of very poor management busy or not. Good luck to anyone who wishes to use this place especially if you have allergies.

Very disappointed, there was no taste to the meal at all, i had chicken tikka masala i had to put salt on my food to get some flavour. Would not go back again.

Had a most disappointing meal i normally enjoy a spicy meal but this time I think who ever tried to cook my meal forgot the spice.

Called to book a table and was fully booked which is normally a good sign went in to collect a takeaway to find an empty restaurant seems to favour takeaways which is OK but would have spent double the amount on eat in. Food was nice enough but was after a bit of atmosphere

Very nice Indian meal, we waited a while for our meal but that was good as it was definitely freshly cooked rather than just heated up

Wide variety of good food freshly prepeared. We chose a set meal plus ice cream. There is a minimum order charge plus delivery both of which are very fair. We had a home delivery to Chalet on Selsey golf club, food arrived hot and ice cream still cold thanks to very proactive delivery man. Took about 45 minutes as they were very busy. Worth every penny. Thank you.
