Nenno Pizza Restaurant in Islington

My husband and I usually visit here whenever we come into London. However, our visit last night will be the last time. The food was poor at best. The two waitresses that were on were appalling, terrible attitude, disinterested and indifferent. We never ask for a service charge to be removed from a bill but last night we had no choice. We were not paying a service charge for sub standard service. Even when we asked for the charge to be removed they didn’t even bother to ask why. Just an all round awful experience and one we will not repeat.

Absolutely delicious food. Gluten free options were catered for, lovely pizza and pasta dishes. We will return again!!

I agree, not the most striking from the outside but it’s a nice place to have dinner when staying in the area. I had a ham and mushroom pizza (priced under £13) and daughter had spaghetti carbonara which was delicious even if she thought the portion could have been a bit bigger. We’ve been served very quickly and with a smile. Will visit again!

Sono stata a cena questa sera con la mia famiglia e sono rimasta piacevolmente soddisfatta: Un ambiente pulito, con personale gentile, cibo ottimo, di qualità. Noi che siamo italiani, mangiare un’ottima pizza in un paese estero è difficile, ma la pizza mangiata da Nenno era buonissima, cotta in un forno a legna, e soprattutto una pizza buona grazie al lavoro del pizzaiolo Bruno, italiano, e ottima qualità prezzo, quando ritornerò a Londra saprò dove andare a mangiare una buona pizza anche quando sono all’estero.

Sono venuta stasera a mangiare una pizza e da turista italiana a Londra non mi aspettavo di certo una pizza così buona! Davvero ottima, voglio fare i complimenti a Bruno, il pizzaiolo che ha vissuto per 40 anni in Italia, complimenti davvero! E anche il proprietario davvero gentile e carino. Consiglio a tutti questo ristorante!

Gerne wieder! Die Lasagne war wirklich köstlich und das Personal freundlich, aufgeschlossen und zuvorkommend. Portion der Lasagne war ausreichend, das Gericht meines Partners leider etwas klein gewesen.

Really handy for kings x when collecting my daughters off the train, have eaten here twice now and would definitely recommend, pizzas and pasta are really good and the risotto is great....tough crowd 15yo girls, especially with all the chain options around KX but they really like it, really good value too

Great for big groups (up to 12)! Pasta wasn’t that great. Best part was the Nutella pizza for dinner!

Not the most striking from the outside but this place is a gem! I started with garlic bread and was relieved I hadn’t ordered pizza as this was a 12 inch garlic bread with a delicious base. The sausage tagliateli was perfect. Really tasty, delicious sausage. His red and espresso were also great. Why go to chains when you can support a fantastic family restaurant like this?

Welcoming Italian place with great pizzas at very reasonable prices, well away from overly busy areas like Soho but still very central (2 min walk from King’s Cross station). Alla prossima!

In de avond op zoek naar iets in de buurt vh hotel. Geen spijt van. Erg lekker pasta gegeten. Bediening was wel heel snel, voordat we zaten hadden we al een kaart en voordat ik die had kunnen lezen werd al gevraagd wat we wilden drinken. Maar zo hielden we nog wat extra tijd over om in de avond te genieten van de kerstsfeer in Londen.

Cute cosy Italian restaurant in Kings Cross. About 5 mins away from the station. Very affordable. Great spot for Pasta and Pizza!

Have eaten here about 5 times over a few years. The food and service have always been good. The price is reasonable for central London. A discretionary service charge of 10% is good also compared to some other places.

Very nice staff, quick service, beautiful atmosphere, and great spaghetti. Recommend! And just for info, you are charged with service fee around 4£.

Located near Kings Cross station this is well worth a visit - e Wendy’s walk n customers staff friendly food was delicious.

Me and my Dance Company came here for a celebratory dinner after winning our Competition and they were kind enough to give a group of 20+ people tables for a walk in on short notice which we were truly grateful for. They even played us songs for the company to continue the celebratory high! What a lovely, welcoming place to dine in- fantastic food and fantastic service and hospitality!! Will be coming back here again. A massive thank you from me and the team!

Really good pizzas and wonderful desserts, the best chocolate dessert I've ever had!

Food wasn't too bad and the staff was nice, but I was expecting something completely different. It's not particularly authentic (cream in the carbonara is always a red flag), I've tried pizza, pasta and tiramisù and I was disappointed. I'm not sure whether anyone was Italian there. Certainly from the name I was expecting some Sardinian ingredients (mentioned in an old TimeOut review) but there was absolutely nothing. I'm wondering whether the restaurant had been sold to different owners.

Good quality choice near Kings Cross Station. Hearty portions at a good price. Gluten free pasta available which paired nicely with the Bolognese. The ravioli with spinach were very nice and the sauce was just right. Wine and cider prices are good, especially for the area. We will go back again

Tres très déçu 😞.. le personnel est exécrable surtout si vous avez le malheur de ne pas commander pour très cher. Nous avons été insulté, méprisé et pour couronné le tout, il nous ont rendu 30 pieces de monnaie juste pour nous embêter. C'est fort dommage car nous avions pris un logement juste en face de ce restaurant en famille et cela était pratique d'aller manger chez eux en rentrant de nos journées de visite. Bref, tampi, tout le monde n'est pas bien veillant. A éviter surtout !!!

Attention arnaque!!! Service horrible, des employés mal élevés et très peu respectueux. Du moment ou vous ne dépensé pas assez d'argent, on vous traite comme des moins que rien. Il debarasse votre table alors que vous n'avez même pas fini votre repas juste pour remplir au plus vite les tables! Ils insultes les clients dans leur langue d'origine. Dommage nous comprenions très bien ce qu'ils se raconté entre eux. Il y avait une table de français en face de nous et ils les insultés d'idiots de français. Bref à éviter !!!

We (4 of us) were received in a very friendly way and got one of the last free tables. Three of us ordered pizza (3 different ones) and the 4th person a salad. We got served very quickly. All of the pizzas were just great. We’ll be back !!

Very tasty food and pleasant staff but the noise is unbearable and for this reason alone I could not dine here again. It is shame. The acoustics need addressing and seating is crammed in. With large parties or loud customers, your ears will take a battering and it makes it very unpleasant.

One of the best carbonara's i have ever had. The service was slow, but to give them credit it was friendly and welcoming. I think they were looking for waiting staff, which i totally understand.

I wanted a change from King’s Cross food and watching the notice boards - also I was starving. Had a fabulous pizza and demure glass of wine in a comfortable 40 minute window. Both food and wine were perfect, plus excellent service (including adjustment so I could charge my phone!). Lovely. Would recommend. Lots of others here in less of a rush should you be looking for a more relaxed evening

Delicious food at a good price, a good pick for a good meal

I love this place every time I visit it. The service is amazing — super friendly and helpful staff. All the pasta and pizza I've had were high quality and very tasty, while the prices are very fair. The space inside might feel crowded at times, but it's never an inconvenience, as the staff is very careful. Easily my favorite italian place to eat in London :)

I was just walking arrund searching for an open place with nice food, I entered late, almost at closing time, but the stuff were flexible and made me the best Pizza I've discovered this year so far in great price. The Pizza felt real, not a chepo, exactly like I love. This people here to make good food not playing games, thanks

Stopped for drink, but after seeing other diners, meals stopped for food as well.

They accepted a late night reservation for me and my girlfriend. It was really nice. We had pasta but it was fully authentic.

Great authentic Italian food and great customer service. Food was given out in a timely manner however food was slightly on the bland side. Garlic and seasoning the pasta was missing. Would recommend!

Had the pleasure of visiting Nenno’s twice during our stay in London. One where we got their delicious pizzas to-go aswell as their yummy Tiramisu. The second time we enjoyed our last dinner in London with a three meal course that my fiancé and I shared. It was a pleasent experience and you can really taste that the food is made with love and passion for making you walk away with a happy tummy. We can definitely recommend stopping by Nenno’s and get a true authentic Italian experience, the service was sublime as well! We can’t wait to be back! 🙏⭐️

You could easily pass by this place and miss it ,because it looks very ordinary from the outside and simple in its interior design.Looks however can be deceptive, as the food is extraordinary.Freshly cooked and superbly flavoured,this is an authentic Italian eatery and i cannot recommend it enough.Delicious and unpretentious.

This is delicious Italian food in a nice and cosy restaurant. It was busy all the time, and that says a lot about a restaurant. We had pizza's, pasta, bruschetta and lasagna and everything tasted good. Carbonara was nice and creamy and you could taste the fresh tomato's in the lasagna. Four persons, main course and one or two drinks about £80,00 gratuity incl.

Lovely little place. Only five minutes’ walk from Kings Cross & St Pancras stations. Our table had 3 pizzas and a risotto. All were spot on, as was the service. Would definitely return.

This is a small family owned pizza/ pasta Italian restaurant. The arancini starter was fresh and tasty and the pizzas after were thin and crispy and the toppings were decent. The house wine wasn’t expensive and more than good enough

I have a restaurant in Caledonian Road & me, my daughter and my brother want to eat pizza, but while the restaurant was almost empty, the owner won't serve as and treats as badly. He himself is a foreigner but seems to have hate of black people. So avoid going there, otherwise you will be disappointed.

Si estás por la zona de la estación de King’s Cross en Londres y te apetece comer pasta o pizza 🍕 éste es tu sitio ✅ Un restaurante donde las pizzas son en horno de leña. Muy grandes y riquísimas. Y la pasta al dente también estaba deliciosa. El local tiene una decoración sencilla y una pequeña terraza como desahogo del restaurante. La camarera que nos sirvió en todo momentos fue muy amable y risueña. Tuvo el detalle de sacarle un folio y colores a mi hija pequeña que no paro de pintar mientras comía. Además, comimos solos en el local debido a que los ingleses comen más pronto. Sobre las 14 horas del mediodía estábamos solos en el restaurante sin bullicio. Un placer comer así de tranquilos.

Booked in advance for a 6:30pm reservation for 3 people, we needed to make changes to start earlier at 6pm which they happily did via email. I arrived at the restaurant in time for the booking and was welcomed and sat down at a table, my friends arrived soon after at which point we ordered some drinks. Peronis of course! Bit steep for almost £8 but that's London for you. We ordered a few starters, some bruschetta, olives and calamari, all of which were delicious. We then went onto the mains which for me was the Nenno pizza. It was an exceptional pizza, a thin and crispy base with a perfectly balanced load of toppings. No extra seasonings needed as the crusts were delicious and the everything else was perfectly satisfying. The food orders came out quick and they let us finish the starters before bringing out the mains, something often overlooked in some establishments. Our water jug was regularly filled without us prompting the waiting staff. All in all a great experience and a place I'd recommend if you'd like good pizza. Can't vouch for the other menu items but one of my party had pasta and said it was tasty so I suspect you wouldn't go wrong ordering something else that wasn't pizza.

In a rush to catch my train, this gorgeous restaurant brought wonderful food quickly even though it was busy, and I was delighted!

A group of us had lunch there and the food was excellent (January 2023) Eleven of us had a second lunch there today (June 17th) and it was as good as the first.

Amazing food! I ordered the lasagna, and it came in less than ten minutes. The staff were all very nice too, highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for authentic Italian food!

It was clean, nice staff and quite good food. We were looking for something gluten free and got a nice risotto and equally nice pasta. They lacked a bit in salt and garlic, but they were ok. Not so cozy, though, the interiors got stand some redecorating.

Nice place for Italian food (especially pizzas and pasta) near king's cross train station. Good amount of vegetarian options. I tried the margerita pizza, pasta and a salad. All were nice. They have a citrus themed tiramisu, which was a refreshing twist on the traditional coffee flavoured tiramisu. Overall, good food, nice service.

I went to nenno pizza last week and my god, it was one of the best pizza’s i ever had and on top of that a big thank you to the girl who served my table. The staff is amazing there. Would love to go again sometime!
