My wife and I revisited Nashys for the first time for a few years and were very impressed we only had breakfast rolls and a cake but it was very tasty. The place was friendly with a cosy atmosphere.

We had planned this as a lunch stop when out for a bike run but it ended up as just a coffee stop as there only appeared to be cakes and scones and tea / coffee available when we went in. Staff were friendly and chatty. There is only one small seated area inside (a couch and a table) and several tables outside, so not an ideal biker stop in the colder or wetter weather.

I have just had a swim in Peebles pool, tried to get parked and there was no chance. Whilst waiting for my hubby to finish his round of golf at a nearby course, I came upon this place. Really friendly and the best bacon roll this side.of the Mississippi. They, like a other food outlets, are struggling with the effects of the pandemic and can only do takeaway at the moment, but the staff were cheerful and friendly. Go Nashys!!

On 20/7/21, I visited Nashys for a bite of lunch. I had a really tasting toastie that I ate at a bench and table outside. The tables were covered by marquees that offered protection from the cloudless sky and bright Sun.Whilst I sat there, a couple arrived accompanied by their lively puppy. The husband entered, emerging soon afterwards with their food that he passed to his wife who was holding the puppy lead in one hand. As she received the food, the puppy jerked her hand away and a laden dish fell to the ground. When it was picked up, the food had a sprinkling of small stones attached. Thus, it was inedible. This accident was observed by the staff. The boss came out to the couple. She said that a free replacement would be provided to them. This was prepared and given to them. This was my first visit to Nashys. It will not be my last!

This was our first visit to Nashys and looking forward to trying out a small local business which I always like to support. Initial reactions when entering the foyer that the business looked a bit tired. However putting that to one side, we took a table and service was efficient and friendly. It was lunchtime midweek and reasonably busy. Our orders came out pretty quick. Three orders consisted of soup accompanied by a roll with butter, a hot roll with a slice of lorne sausage and black pudding and a gf tuna sandwich with salad and 3 lattes which came to £23. The food quality was good. However, I found the menu confusing, particularly the Hot Menu ie Toasties, chips or salad £10, really? The soup with the roll and butter at £5.80. Sorry there has been a lot of criticism from the proprietor criticising similar reviews concerning the prices, but I tend to agree with these reviewers. I also make note of the comments made regarding overheads etc but find that a similar establishment in nearby Walkerburn to offer similar type fare but at much more affordable prices

Been before and I wish I lived near by to go more often . The retro exterior looks like a fifties diner on Route 66. The guy taking the order is friendly and full of patter . The best latte always and today I had a beetroot and chocolate cupcake which was lovely and moist . The weather has been roasting the past few days so we sat outside. Since the last visit there has started a building site next door of a row of houses so the only downside is the noise of construction, but no fault of nashys. If you’re in the area you won’t get a better coffee and cake. I really need to go for lunch next time I’ll bet it’s great like the home baking.

£10 for the excellent full Scottish breakfast including tea/coffee with so much food! We couldn't finish everything but wanted to because it was all so good, especially the homemade lemon curd... best I've ever tasted - wish they were selling it! I normally don't eat lamb but couldn't help but have quite a few mouthful of the incredibly flavorful haggis. We didn't even have to eat lunch because it was filling enough to last 'til dinner. Really cool lovely place with character - loved the unique fun decor and the rustic exterior! Very friendly genuine staff. Would definitely recommend to everyone and hope business stays good & it stays open for my next visit to Scotland... I want to go back already! Recommended by the lady who volunteers at Saint Ronan's Well and we're all so glad we came! They also have options for vegetarians. I had the quiche with salad and chips and cleared my plate in about two minutes flat! Nashy has made a great cafe in the old station at Cardrona. The menu is not altogether usual run of the mill, with a wide and very tasty range of dishes. The cafe itself is full of quirky "objets d'arts." I love the shelf made with a skateboard, and the sign, supposedly from a sleeper train that orders No Snoring. You can eat outside on the old platform when the weather allows and admire the beautiful scenery while enjoying lunch or just a cup of coffee (with a tiny delicious homemade shortbread taster on the side). Everything sounded tasty and they had veggie options. We decided to go for a hot chocolate with hazelnut syrup, and another one with a shot of coffee. We were very pleasantly surprised when we learnt they had both almond and soy milk! About the drinks... what can I say? That cocoa was good stuff. I'm no connoisseur, but I could tell it wasn't your typical sugary chocolate mix. It was very rich, nice and bitter, and it went along perfectly with a shot of coffee. It tasted super nutty and cereal-y, almost like a gooooood beer. We didn't even add sugar!

Called in here for a coffee whilst walking the Tweed Valley Railway track. Unexpected find. Friendly little cafe with quirky ambience. The coffee was OK and the menu looked interesting.

Staying at the Cardrona for a few days. This little gem is only a walking distance from the hotel. Place is full of character, amazing food piping hot and the guy serving full of joy.

Fresh, tasty, homemade delights. We had a lovely takeaway lunch today. Toasties and hand cut chips were lovely/especially the homemade chutney! Cakes were the best! White choc and Pistachio, Jaffa cake slice and Millionaires Shortcake...OMG...mouth watering and beautiful home baking! Jaffa cake slice was my fav! A real treat in beautiful surroundings.

This business has now closed. There is another Tea Room in Coldstream 'The Mad Hatter' which is very nice - great cakes. Don't forget to go to the Museum in Coldstream. Well worth a visit.

Looked forward to a return to this lovely shop after being away for a few years to sample the incredible Orkney ice cream only to find that they no longer offer this and just offer a very mediocre ice cream instead. Very disappointing. Bring back the Scottish ice cream. Also return the seats so you could enjoy a coffee indoors during the winter months.

Always something different to enjoy on a lovely menu. The homemade soup is delicious as is everything else. All the food is fresh and tasty. Recommend this place to anyone visiting Hawick
