It was so serene the staff were lovely helpful food was delicious it was great temperature inside great seating space only thing is they don't serve the chicken gizzard and bread but will be visiting again

If I could give this nandos 0 stars I would, Stratford nandos is the worste nandos I've ever been to, terrible service and the servers there have very bad attitude problems, I live in Stratford and I'd rather drive all the way to Walthamstow nandos instead of this one, the food took ages to come down aswel and when it came down it was cold and soggy, obviosly because it had been sitting there for ages, I will never ever come back to this nandos ever again, the staff need to really sort them selves out, if you don't want to take people's orders and do your job then find another job or go and sign on the dole, never again!

I visited this place with my friend for dinner on a weekday. The food was terrible, I ordered their og burger with chicken however the bun was rock hard and had to get it replaced. Even then it was just a bit warmer but still too dry. Also the new signature menu item was apparently unavailable as they had no garlic bread which was a bummer. The seating offered to us in the beginning was next to toilets or some entry way which was very cramped and the staff kept bumping in my seat as I was sitting at the table. I believe the table number was 1. Although after complaining the server changed our seat as the restaurant was pretty empty , But then why sit us at such stupid table in the first place.

The manager, helped us when the food wasn’t processed properly , she helped us order it at the counter and provided excellent customer service and the food was also amazing 10/10

When to try the new Saka sauce. We had Zee take us to our table and said if we needed anything to speak with him. Zee has great customer service and is very attentive. I will definitely be coming back to dine again.

Service was slow possibly it was fairly busy.

I went there with family recently but I used to go occasionally many years ago. The way they make people wait outside these days makes for some bad optics and I am sure it makes patrons feel like they are not valued. The restaurant is always busy, and it is often hard to get a table. I am not sure why people spend ages waiting outside instead of going to another restaurant. It is not like the food is so unique that they MUST eat here. The Nando’s had a refurbishment a month or so ago, and the old entrance is now a place where delivery drivers congregate, which looks pretty bad, as there is always a crowd of them out there, looking confused and bewildered, often shouting through the windows asking for orders. It is weird. The food at Nando’s is not bad, and once you get a table, the experience is OK, but everything before that is quite aggravating. All the crowds outside put me off from ever baiting this place. Thankfully I did not have to wait outside as I came late and the people I was dining with (who were paying for the meal) had already arrived so I just joined them. However, looking at the people waiting for ages outside did not impress me, and I think they should have a system where if you don’t have a reservation you shouldn’t be allowed to queue outside. It just looks like people are desperately waiting for food rations or something. Sort it out Nando’s.

Very bad service waited over 35 minutes for food to arrive and in last have to go to counter by myself to take my food

A massive thank you to ZEE. We arrived Friday evening and it was really busy however Zee’s service made all the difference. His approach and attitude was perfect and he made us feel welcomed, comfortable and at ease. Zee was very professional and went above and beyond to ensure his service was perfect for everyone as there was a queue. Zee is definitely a very valuable employee as it’s employees like Zee who drive the business towards success and growth. He should definitely be promoted as his skills and work ethic are above his current position. Thank you again Zee for everything you are simply amazing, you made our evening perfect and we will definitely be coming back because of your performance and perfect service.

Extremely amazing place and good service

My first visit, I must express my awe at the extraordinary customer service. Zee, our dedicated server, exhibited an exceptional blend of attentiveness, friendliness, and a genuinely welcoming demeanour that truly elevated the experience.

Ordered the garlic churrasco burger, it would have tasted better if there was pickled red onions in it but it was missing. The mac and cheese was filling but it was average and the rice was okay. The only good thing was the choc-a-lot cake it fresh, moist and rich.

Had a lovely customer experience with Zee he was very attentive. He ensured me and my friend were seated immediately when possible and was super friendly! Defo will be coming back more.

When I went in I was greeted with respect which really gave me a comfortable feeling as soon I stepped in, they then proceeded to give me and my friend seats they gave us menus and gave the bests in the restaurant which really made me happy. We then ordered the food it came quick which was really good as we starving, the food was delicious the atmosphere was nice that’s why I gave 5 stars would really recommend to everyone who goes Nando’s and who doesn’t

Nothing like good food and company with good friends.

August 20 2022: The Food First: Only 7/10. I took my 10 year old daughter there and she ordered spicy hot chicken breast, spicy rice, corn on the cob and vanilla gelado to finish. It was a children's size portion and she loved it. I had what I expected to be a reasonably sized chicken butterfly breast but was surprised when it was brought and the size of a small pigeon breast. Nando's are known for this stinginess in other reviews so give customers who part with £20 a reasonable portion-it only costs Nando's £1 at most for a good sized chicken breast. The salad and chips were of a reasonable size and quality with a bottomless soft drinks glass for me whilst my daughter only likes iced water. The Staff Now: 10/10. I placed my order with Shiann who was exceptionally welcoming, very warm and my daughter commented she was very nice and I agree with her. Very impressed indeed. Thank you Shiann for your really excellent service and warm attitude. Our table was tended by Sylvain and he too was exceptionally warm, friendly and very helpful indeed. He was a pleasure to have as our attendant and thank you again to himself. He very quickly brought my daughter's waiting Vanilla Gelato and a doggy bag for her with a smile. It was clear he was very willing to do all he could to make our experience pleasant (even though Nando's was by this time closing.) Very pleasant staff and the doorman was very polite too. Best wishes to Shiann and Sylvain and if Nando's recognise staff for their quality of service and proficiency I hope both Shiann and Sylvain get that recognition and are put to the front of the line when promotions become available. We are both planning to go there again soon so do say hello if you remember us. UPDATE: Went in June 17 2023 for the same but owing to the cashier printing table 36, not 26, we were waiting for our food for 35 minutes. Spoke to manager, Eddie, and he ensured we not only got our freshly cooked food to the correct table but refunded half the cost and gave us ice cream too. He asked what drinks we would like and I asked for and got two beers too. Absolutely wonderful response and, yet again, the service was excellent. Thank you Eddie! UPDATE: Went in on 20 January 2024 and price rise from £20 to £29.90 in 18 months. They also have cut down on the food given aswell as the "salad" no longer being a salad. There is ONLY rocket salad leaves with ground nuts; no tomatoes or cucumber. This penny pinching (to save them literally pennies) has ensured Nando's is no longer on my list for eating out. Cheapskates are not tolerated by me so Nando's has gone from a 4 to a 1.

COVID-19 system implemented was great, we had to scan a QR code at the door in order to enter the virtual queue. Then, a member of staff asked us to sanitise using a pedal dispenser available at the entrance, while he explained that a cashless payment system was in place. Separation screens were in place on tables and customers were being sat away from each other. We were not expected to leave the table except to use the toilets or to exit the restaurant. QR codes are available on every table to scan and are used to place your order online. Reduced menu, obviously, but most things are still available. Bottomless drinks were brought to us when we asked for a refill, as well as sauce packets and cutlery, etc. All in all, the system implemented was great.... however, the service was very poor. Staff members seemed to be engaged other things, talking to each other, on their phones, etc. It was very difficult to get anyone's attention. System and service did not merge well. Would probably visit another branch next time due to poor service. 2 stars given based on poor service.

The food was great no doubt. We were served by a waitress (European in her 40s with glasses) unfortunately she was very very rude and unhelpful. She just spoiled the whole mood for us as a family.

This is my 6ths time in nandos stratford, and everytime me and my family come back is because the food is amazing and the staff are amazing, but the service you get in the branch from a guy called ZEE. What an absolute amazing and respectful this guy is, the way he welcomes you to the time you leave, he makes sure your food and if you need anything he will make sure you get the best experience in stratford Nandos , credit were is due, we thought honesty he was the manager but then found out he was front door staff, definitely makes sense why he at the door as this guy has great welcome, he needs to be recognised for his hard work, hopefully we see him as the future manager here, 👍

Food was good but bit expensive. Customers service was very good. However, from front door to waiting area is very tiny. Sometimes uncomfortable to walk.

Yesterday we waited 40 mins for the table but I saw there were 2 or 3 tables free but they didn't give us the table and then waited for order after 35 mins the guy told me they don't have a whole chicken...such a rabies service...the workers look like they are not here for work....Nandos Stratford needs to change this thing

Juicy, juicy, too much juiciness.

Too busy, waited for ages, left as I was digesting my own stomach lining. Staff were rude, non personable, too busy to care. Such a shame, a shopping trip should / could conclude with a bite to eat, maybe Nandos need to work on a faster turnaround for customers?

Service was virtually non existent, waitress seated us and disappeared. Ordered via the app, waited 20mins for part of my order and another 20 for the rest. Food was badly cooked. The chicken wings were very dry, the thighs were undercooked and the mashed potato was lumpy, dry and cold. Service was very poor, drinks arrived in bottles with no glass or straws, waitresses were either busy or invisible. The lighting was very dim, there was no music, just the noise of lots of people eating and talking. Restaurant was dirty, food on the seat and under the table. This was my worst experience at a Nando’s to date. I would neither recommend or return to this particular branch. Very poor.

As a disabled person i expected better. Asked for a table with wheelchair accessibility we were shown to a regular table. We were puzzled. She did not move chairs to make space for wheelchair she asked if she should move chairs.my response how are we to eat can you move chairs. They do not cater for those in a wheelchair. A request was made to place order from the table. The lady came over, poor English made it clear being in a wheelchair does mean she should serve. We were told to make our way to the till or use qr code. Question: what happens if you need to ask a question as we did? What if you do not have a smart phone in addition remember everybody's level of understanding differs. The space in Nandos Stratford by Morrisons has no space for wheelchairs neither do staff show understanding. Nandos staff do not acknowledge those with disabilities, the service poor, staff are discriminatory with no empathy. To be patronised about placing an order is a disgrace..

probably the worst branch in newham. Chicken was the driest nandos I've tasted, service took forever. Its always loud and bustling at all which is uncomfortable. They never have chicken thighs which is an inconvenience

Duringa our visit to Nando's Stratford, the staff member Name Zahid went above and beyond to assist us with our baby. They were incredibly accommodating when our baby fell asleep in the baby chair, ensuring our comfort and dining experience weren't disrupted. Moreover, the staff member assisting us was extremely helpful with our order, showing great hospitality and patience. Their attention to detail and willingness to make our visit enjoyable despite the unexpected circumstance with our baby was truly commendable. It made our dining experience at Nando's memorable, and we appreciate their exceptional service."

I just ordered 1/2 chicken medium with sweet potatoes and my order came without any sauce. This is ridiculous! What's the point of eating chicken without sauce??

Been to Nandos before but not this one. Zee was a great waiter and was so nice! The food was phenomenal and put me in a food coma. Highly recommend the sunset burger peri tamer with added halloumi and the new mac and cheese without the crumbs. 10/10 🔥

Halal Nandos , very nice chicken taste

Forgot to bring my half my order to my table, and even after asking waiters twice no one came to my table for over 15mins. Had to go to the till myself to get the remainder of my food - it had been sitting there the whole time, food was cold, couldn't be bothered complaining as I was in a rush and came for a quick meal. This isn't my usual nandos experience, hence still a 4 star, but you guys can't be ignoring or forgetting about customers.

Great food (as expected from Nando's) in a beautiful, surprisingly intimate setting and topped off with above-and-beyond customer service. It's probably the best Nando's that I've visited, mostly thanks to the great staff here and their considerations.
