Nando's - Sheffield, Meadow Hall in Sheffield

This was a lovely experience and me and my friends had an incredible time and the manager was attentive.We visit Nando’s locations across the country frequently, and their customer service was truly outstanding. With our regular visits to Nando’s, averaging 6+ times a month, we had a wonderful experience with the staff members mentioned.

I was served by a lovely gentleman called Junior, he showed us to our seats and when I got my food and informed him I wasn't happy he immediately tried to rectify the issue, but unfortunately due to no fault of Junior's the food hadn't changed it was more or less the same as it went back. So after sending the food back again I was then approached by a man called LEWIS who's attitude was very hostile and asked 'what is the problem'. Which made me feel rather uncomfortable. When my food was brought back, along with cold sides, as they did not change them, nor did they offer. I opted to take it home with me as I was underwhelmed with the whole experience. I will stick to going to valley centertainment as they always give great service and food.

I visited here for a quick lunch and break while shopping with my 7-month-old. The team were so helpful and showed me to a big table with room for the pushchair and close to the drinks. I was able to order via the QR code and the food came quickly and was really good. One server kindly got me some cutlery, as I couldn’t leave my little one, and a few times people checked on whether I needed another drink etc. There are also great baby facilities at Meadowhall.

Great friendly staff, clean and well organised. We had a great meal. Everything was perfect 👌

It was fine, I only had chips but my family enjoyed their meals.

Food was OK but the service was awful. Ordered a last tound of drinks via the app and waited over 40 mins before asking for a refund for them and leaving.

Worst place I've been to this year literally!!! The girl that lead us to our table was fabulous and the manager who took our complaint. Out of 5 meals mine was the only ok one, but really it was a salad so who can mess up a salad. Quantity rubbish, didn't act on intolerances and value for money absolutely awful.

Enjoyed a nice dinner, despite the music being an night club volume, but made more difficult by the toilet situation. Why is the baby change behind a radar locked door?! I don't have a radar key and the queue to speak to a member of staff was round the tables, how am I supposed to take care of my toddler's needs in the ladies toilets when there's only 3 toilets and hardly any space in the cibicles. Hilarious to see "not all disablities are visible" printed on the door and then LOCK the door, suggests you think people are abusing the use of the toilets...perhaps they just have an invisible disability!!! There are also lots of disabilities that include an urgency to use to the toilet, making someone queue for the key is not as accessible as you think. Please consider leaving the door unlocked so that everyone who needs it, disabled people and families, can access it quickly.

Went in to have a quick and cheap meal with friends. Everything looked normal until I bit into the chicken and saw pink. I decided just to not eat the chicken but the next day I had horrific food poisoning and felt horrible throughout the whole day and that was when I decided to leave a review. Most definitely won't be returning the chips looked microwaved and the chicken wasn't even cooked. Save your money and do not come here

this nandos was like no other, this was the first ever time i have been so unimpressed with nandos, this is due to the fact that my chicken was undercooked, which then led me to have horrific food poisoning the following day, will not be attending the meadowhall nandos again.

Always enjoy a good nandos, we was seated very quickly and served very quockly to. Although we did order via the app.

Even though they were really busy the waitress had a laugh with my young nephew at his first trip to a nandos. We were seated promptly and the food/service were brilliant as always from this nandos.

Went here for food after a disappointing walk around Meadowhall. Service was great, food was good and everything was spot on except how cramped it was, not much space in between tables but that is literally it. Other than that everything else was spot on.

Always busy here so dont be put off by the queue to get seated, but food is served promptly and is consistent in terms of quality (dissapointing that there isn't an opportunity on the app to ask for starters to come at the same time as mains).

Customer service is horrible had a chicken liver it was disgusting

After visiting numerous different nandos this one ranked quite highly. Really good food, speedy service and polite staff. Definitely one of the good ones.

Food was good service was okay however management wasn’t good paid for 3 meals however only got told I paid for 2 so I paid for another meal and then they realised that I did pay for the first 3 meals In return they refused to give me a refund.

Understaffed so waited ages for a drink and for food. Mains came as we were still eating starters.

Went here 3 times in my 7 day stay in Sheffield. Being from the Cayman Islands I was happy to try out this place. I had the 1/4 chicken, medium spice with mash potato and long stem broccoli - it was a great meal. I gave this place a 5 star rating for its category of restaurant, which is "quick meal spot at the mall". The eating area at Nando's is fabulous for being in a mall eating hall. If you love hummus and pita - this is the spot for a good one! Prices were also nice.

Where do i start? We were shown to our table given menus and told to order online.i did mine and so far so good. A glass was plonked in frount of me. As i was getting my drink cutlery napkin 2 waitresses were stood chatting "cleaning" the sauce bottles. My meal arrived. The garluc bread was hard and the chips were cold.what on earth do people like about this food chain? £21.95 for something i didnt enjoy. To top it off the waitress said my names abby please do a review. Well here you go....abby took our plates And what is that stench on the way to the ladies?

Nandos clientele are already pretty weird. But when you combine it with the kind of people who frequent meadowhall it becomes the hills have eyes.

The food was lovely, but the service was the worst I have ever experienced, in any "restaurant". The staff don't do anything other than hand you a menu and point you to a till. if you want to order anything, you have to leave your group of friends/family and try to remember everyone's order . Unless you walk around with a pen and paper in your pocket. Such a bad way to serve people, that are out for a nice dining experience. The tables either side of me though the same way too.

Very busy when we visited and some food was colder than others but it was still tasty!

Visited for lunch with my wife and two children, 7 and 2. Was taken to a table by a lovely chap, unfortunately we didn’t get his name, but he was extrelemy helpful and took our pram to a safe place so it was not in the way! The food was lovely as always, and the kids really enjoyed their Nandino’s meal!

It's been a while since I've tried a Nandos and it seems to have improved since I last went. The menu also seems much larger. I had the butterfly chicken, rice and broccoli. It was nice to seem veg as an option but it wasn't really cooked properly. The chicken was nice as was the spicy rice. The last time I went I recall there were 4 heat options and I used to go for the spiciest. This time there were 5 and I went for the 2nd one down and it was pretty spicy. There were loads of sauce bottles so my recommendation would be to go lower than what you think you can handle as you can always add more. Staff were very friendly and incredibly fast. The pirce also seems about right. Will come again to try more options on the menu.

Queued to get in but only about 5 minutes. Obviously it was very busy. Not long to wait for the food but it wasn’t right when it arrived and I couldn’t catch anyone’s attention so I got up and went to the serving area. Apparently the waiter had looked at the wrong order. Soon rectified and we enjoyed the food as we usually do.

From time to time the fire alarm went off cos of the slight fog but the taste was good as always for a quick bite.

Seems expensive for what you get. £26 for one chicken and one chickpea pitta, one medium fries and a bottle of beer! Staff were great though!

Food was fantastic. Was welcomed by a young man called Harvey and he was fantastic! Couldn't do enough for us. Absolute credit to your team. Meal was fabulous, definitely return!

First time at Sheffield! Absolutely over the moon with the service I got from the team! One staff member stood out from the crowd and went above and beyond and that is Harvey !! Excellent service from him! Would highly recommend!!! Really wonderful experience would come back again 🫶🏽

Side dishes were lovely, however my lemon and herb chicken was very tart and the chicken skin was quite burnt.

Brilliant food, fast service, and wonderful friendly staff,, there was a queue but it's understandable as it was busy in Meadow Hall, toilets nearby in Nando's.

Staff pester you while you are eating.

It's... Nando's. Food - Tasty food as always, full of flavour and spice of your choosing - never had dry chicken from here. I've always found this branch a little stingy on the Peri Pero salt compared to others and presentation can sometimes seem rushed, even when not overly busy. Hence the drop of a ⭐ Service - Again all staff are friendly, helpful and you are generally seated quickly throughtout the week (short waits are as expected at weekends). Only reason for drop of a ⭐, is that compared to other branches, staff can seem to rush off a little. Atmosphere - Clean, open, typical Nando's vibe with the decor. Ideal for people watchers as you can watch the world go by. Some of the seating is getting a little worn and tired looked, hence the dropped ⭐ Will return.

avoid avoid avoid !!! this place totally stupid and utterly - no tomato sauce so I politely asked a staff member after paying £35.00 four meal no sign’s up saying so and huh when I asked the staff member she rudely bit My head off saying that we have ran out absolutely appalling I’m appalled that I have to eat My Meal Plain without any tomato sauce - not even a 1 star disgusting appalling rude staff !!!!! look at the photo I took absolutely dry dinner for £35.00.

Food is fabulous. Very tasty and can be mild spicy or VERY spicy if you like. Food is prepared quite quickly and staff are always friendly and helpful. Thankbyou

1st time I've been to nandos The service and staff were impeccable The food I'm assuming was good as always though I'm not a fan of only chicken.... thats because it is a chicken restaurant And the chicken was perfectly cooked, I've had bad experiences in other different restaurants so I. Always nervous with chicken dishes but not here... I loved the decor and the way it was set out I liked the sauce bottles so I tried a few Yep they've got a kick to them I enjoyed the place though it could do with a better beer/ lager selection but that's just my opinion

Lovely to eat at Nandos meadowhall again. Last time was before the lockdown. Food was great and staff took care preparing it due to our sons peanut allergy. Everyone was very nice 👍 😁

We were seated at our desk then left to work out how to order. The food arrived and it was great. I had to get a replacement salad but it was hassle free. The thing that spoilt our experiance was the state of the place. Very untidy.i went to the ladies and was disgusted. It smells of fish down the corridor bit. The toilet.seats.were loose and there was toilet paper all over. I have to say they are one of the worst toilets ive ever been to . I felt physically sick after . At no point did the staff ask if the food was ok

Food was ok but hygiene standards poor. Food all over the floor and chairs dirty. Had to ask for clean cutlery as it was all dirty. The ‘clean’ cutlery that was brought out was still dirty - why has this not been polished once coming out of the washer? No napkins at station. Dried crusty sauce all over the pourers on the bottles, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The sauce I used had lumps in it, is this normal? Burger bread was dry. Same for the garlic bread. Could have got a better meal from McDonalds for half the price. Won’t be returning.

Staff were friendly. Everything quickly served as usual. They accommodated for my large family of 8 quickly too 🙂

It's Nandos. Staff were friendly.

Been many times to Nandos and most of the time has always been decent. The one in Meadowhall, however, is really a poor restaurant, the chicken was bland and the skin was like rubber. The chicken liver also just seemed microwaved and there was no ice. They ask you how is your meal you tell them it is poor and they do nothing about it, what's the point? waste of money left me feeling like I wasted £75 and after that will not be returning to Nandos.

The food was spot on, didn't have any complaints at all. It was cooked extremely well and with enough seasoning. When we first sat down, we realised that our table was a bit wobbly, but the staff resolved the issue quickly and were very helpful. The toilets were relatively clean, the hand driers could have done with a bit of a deeper clean, otherwise nothing to be concerned about.

Friendly staff. Couldn't order what I wanted from the app. But the staff help me at the till. Would go again. The food was good. They don't serve coffee which one of our family wanted.

My favourite place to eat when at Meadowhall. There is a QR code you can scan to place your order instead of ordering at the till. The butterfly chicken is delicious. Shame they no longer sell the raspberry cheesecake.

They don’t treat their employees well at all. Management get one person to do all the jobs and not pay them for all the work they are doing! I think it is outrageous that management can get people to stay in work when they aren’t in and get them to do all the work and not pay them enough! Employees (of they don’t drive) have to pay most of their wages just to get home. I’m furious!

Had to wait a bit for a table as it was a busy Saturday tea time and I was in a party of 6 people. However, the front of house worked hard to sort us out and was friendly throughout keeping us updated. Staff in the restaurant also very attentive and food was out quickly. Food was great as ever and did not wait that long considering how busy it was. There are dozens of eateries in the centre however went to Nandos as it appears consistently good in whatever city you choose to eat. Great food and service again.

We will Never going here again, the staff are very rude and poor service doesn’t even deserve one star

The usual great chicken experience

I visited Meadowhall after work with my fiancée for a spot of late night shopping. We were in need of a feed as my last meal had been a bowl of Alpen at 10am that morning. Needless to say both our chicken wings and thighs were packed with flavour, very succulent and the juice consistency was perfect 😋. We went for the maple flavoured wings and middle ground medium for our thigh spice. I must also add that we ordered from the app, which was a pleasant experience, mainly because it allows you to order extras you wouldn’t normally know were available!! In addition to the 4 thighs, PERi-salted chips and macho peas, I ordered a Tortilla wrap, some chilli jam and a pot of PERinaise which allowed me construct a DIY mega wrap filled with all my Nando favourites!!🍗🍟🌯 Would have given 5* however when shaking the ketchup, the lid fell off!🥫

Nando's is my favourite place to eat if out shopping. We frequented the one in Stockport until we moved over to Yorkshire. Meadow Hall's Nando's is run to the same high standard and we were delighted that the menu has been expanded, so more choice. Service was friendly and efficient and the chicken, as always, was delicious.

Nando's very clean and tidy, staff always willing to help, food is well presented and cooked to how you like it. Very busy restaurant.

Had a great experience at Nandos in Meadowhall. Seated quickly and order placed using the QR code system. Food arrived promptly and was as delicious as ever. Only docked 1 star on the atmosphere because the music was a bit too loud for my taste. But that's a personal point of view. Happily recommend it.
