Nando's Chickenland Ltd in Luton

Great welcome, great service. On arrival we were welcomed into the restaurant by Vasil. He made us feel at home straight away, a warm friendly approach,.cracking a joke to get a smile. Just what we needed after a 3 hour drive. Food was perfect and came out quickly ordering through the app. Faultless experience. When Vasil finished work he came over to say goodbye, a real personal touch that we done see often unfortunately. Good work Vasil and the team.

Very disappointed with this nandos today, what I witnessed was very distasteful. A man came in asking for a refund or for them to replace his food as it did not come he spent almost 16 quid on it which as you all know is not cheap. Instead of nandos giving him a refund or replacing his food they said they cannot do anything about it. He then started to record them and a memo of staff grabbed the phone out of his hand. Will not be returning to this horrible nandos in luton galaxy. Stealing people’s money and not returning it 🤢🤮.

The only Nando’s where you pay to let people make fun of you and laugh at you while you eat. I am not even talking about other customers… IM TALKING ABOUT THE EMPLOYEES l!!! Manager Murad who can’t speak English… did nothing taking the sides of his employees…do not come here ever again. The guy in the photo loves to threaten people by the way.

Have been going to Luton nandos every time Luton town FC play at home for the last 6 years & this was the worst experience. Ordered 2 meals for me & my son cost of £32, he got his meal 10 minutes before me & I had to go & ask for mine & eventually got my meal when my son had virtually finished his. My meal was only Luke warm & the bottom less drink facility wasn't working properly, had to complain to assistant manager about appaling experience & eventually got to speak to Jay who was the manager who took my email address and mobile number & said he would send me £15 voucher for my bad experience which I didn't think that was enough but suprise suprise I have not heard anything from Jay or the management of Nando

Friendly and cosy atmosphere with upbeat background music. Staff were attentive and meal served quickly.

Right the food was okay which was the main thing I guess…the organisation of the lines waiting was terrible. Staff were all moody, stuck up and honestly clearly gave zero F…., the nicest person was the girl who gave us the chicken stick thing to go find a table ourselves which was very strange. As well there was a dude who complemented my shoes haha. All in all though staff really need to be a bit more polite because we didn’t get our drink till I said which wasn’t till we got our mains lol. I know it a hard job and can be difficult I’ve done that kind of job but mate cheer up hahaha

Apart from the long wait for a table (in a less than half-full restaurant), the service was very quick....too quick. The chicken had very little flavour and did not even taste marinated (we always all go for extra hot - it was barely medium). It was as if a thin layer of marinade had been slapped on the chicken after it had been cooked. I wanted to order the Super Green, but it has been replaced by two pretend-meat variants. What I liked about Super Green is that it wasn't trying to pretend to be meat - a definite loss for the menu. I went for a chicken pitta, and was really disappointed with it - the pitta was very bready, and the chicken was a fat lump of breast that had no flavour (see above). The salad was just coleslaw, so a change from the previous green salad that Nando's used to put in - and not a good change. Why Nandos felt the need to change perfectly good menu items is beyond me - bad move. The staff felt very robotic, too - they really couldn't care less whether we had a good experience or not - they were just going through the motions, with the standard patter. I was incredibly disappointed with this visit. Haven't been to Nando's for a long time, and Luton branch was always my favourite. No longer. I doubt we will go to Nando's again. It really need to up its game - there are an increasing number of superior peri peri restaurants around, and that are much better value, so Nando's needs to watch its back.

What can I say… it’s Nando’s. Always satisfies. If anything , the new post lockdown service to table has made it better

I ordered a meal via Deliveroo that cost me £39:43 and when it arrived the chicken was burnt, charred and inedible and 2 sides were missing, so 2 portions of chips! We wanted chicken and chips and somehow no chips were delivered! Nandos staff how hard is it to check that all the items are in the bags before it leaves to be delivered? Seriously, this is not rocket science! And yet, time and time again my order arrives with items missing.... Additionally, some people may like their chicken black all over and charred but I personally prefer food that's fit for human consumption! Tried to ring nandos but of course I couldn't get through!!!! So had to deal with Deliveroo and their response was: to refund £3:50 for 1 portion of chips, what about the other missing chips? What about the cremated chicken? Our meal was absolutely ruined. This level of service is unacceptable. They should have arranged to have the chicken replaced and the missing chips delivered along with chicken, as more than half the meal was inedible - the chips were missing and the chicken was burnt. But no, their customer service was unbelievably poor. First, phone calls were not being taken. Second, the live chat person didn't seem able to comprehend that burnt chicken is not acceptable, they seemed to think that the missing items were the main issue. I was literally speechless. I feel like I was robbed, and they took my money under false pretenses. They failed to deliver the meal I ordered and I am the one left out of pocket. How is that fair?

Had a family meal delivered from Nandos via Deliveroo and its the worst Nandos I've ever had. It didn't even taste like Nandos as I know it. Had no spice even though I ordered medium. Chicken tasted as though their grill needed cleaning. Chicken was pale and unsavoury. I ordered perinase sauce which didn't arrive. Never again, best part of £50 wasted. Even the kids disliked it and they usually like fast food.

After lockdown I fancied a cheeky Nando’s, Food was brilliant, clean table and plates.
