Nandos Chickenland in Slough

The food has improved, the portion size is better, the chicken thighs were much larger than when I wrote my previous review. Friendly staff very on the ball. Restaurant was busy, staff were cleaning and yet found time to make me feel valued today. Much improved experience. Thank you Nandos! Please thank the staff on duty today..

One of the best Nando’s that’s I’ve been so far went there last night with my family,amazing food and service lovely staff

Gud food, gud service, clean and a big seating area. The pitas and burgers always fresh. Everything tasted quite gud. Service took a little longer on even a weekday lunch but guess there were a lot of guests at the lunch hour.

I visited by myself which I was apprehensive about but the staff was so lovely and warming that they made it easy and relaxing. Food came out relevantly quick and tasted lovely.

Ordered a takeaway and the delivery and fries where excellent. Chicken wraps really needed something besides just the chicken, as it was just so overpowering.

We came in at 9:20pm on a Thursday night, and we were immediately greeted with a table. Karim the shift manager, was very accommodating and helpful, told us our waited time and even offered starters on the house! Big props to him made the visit even more pleasant, was at our service whenever we needed!

Delicious chicken wrap, fresh peri peri chips will order it again when working in slouch and highly recommend!!

Went to pick up my dinner yesterday afternoon from there, been waiting ages as the staff member, a girl with very bright purple hair couldn’t find my other, she was coming to me 3 times asking what I’ve ordered and then shouted a lot to the other guys in some language I couldn’t understand a word🤷‍♀️, don’t think I will coming back there, such an unprofessional behaviour 😢

We decided to order a take away to have a picnic at Black Park. We downloaded the app and ordering was simple. Food was ready for collection at the selected time. I had to ask for serviettes, sauces and plastic cutlery. Apparently, I should have selected them at the time I placed the order, then it would be in the bag too. Service was friendly. We all had half chicken and 2 sides. It was too much for lunch. Maybe we would try the 1/4 chicken next time. We were worried that dependant on which part of the chicken you got, it may not be filling enough hence we went for the 1/2 chicken. It came in 2 pieces anyway, the leg and breast with the wing. So I think for lunch, 1/4 is sufficient no matter which part you got. Also, the only option was 2 sides which again, we felt was too much. Maybe an option for + 1 side would be good, even if it is only available for lunch. None of us managed to finish the 2 sides. The chicken came in a waterproof box. Each side came in a separate box/bag so it was easy to hand out when we were at the park. We had a nice time and would definitely do it again.

Always fresh food , never any issues! Hot chicken thighs never disappoint. Since going back ordering on the app is so much easier and I love the touch they have a foot stop to pull instead of using the door handles in the toilets!

I ordered a mushroom and halloumi wrap for delivery from this restaurant. When it arrived I saw the pineapple and passion fruit dressing stickers, and immediately knew the order was incorrect as I had ordered the wrap plain. I then went to open the wrap and found CHICKEN inside what was supposed to be a VEGETARIAN meal. I’m absolutely disgusted with the attitude I received from the manager of the store, he laughed and simply said “there’s nothing I can do for you”. I will not be ordering food from this store again, nor will I ever set foot inside. Absolutely appalling customer service.

We were the only customers due to CoronaVirus, and we weren’t even given 1 extra chip! Atleast show some appreciation for your only customers that afternoon and go the extra mile.

A big fan of Nandos.we come here or the other one in slough high street atleast 3 times a month. Although its all about Chicken I actually prefer the Prego Steak roll, the roll is tasty and the roulette wings are a favourite too. There are plenty of sauces to chose from and the chips are tasty with the peri salt. Nice atmosphere, some of the prices are a bit high but then you do pay for quality Highly recommended for a relaxing meal.

I went here with my 2 sisters we ordered food and i hate that they dont deliver food all at once like are we suposed to stare at the other one eating while we wait i find that very silly. My food arrived and so did 1 other sisters we thought it polite to wait until my younger sisters arrived we literally waited 20mins until we went up to the lady serving to ask where the food is and they had forgot to make her food! So we waited another 10mins until they made it. As we tucked into eating there was a long black hair in my sister food this put us all off. Also the steak ordered tasted like liver it was disgusting. We had to leave. Manager 'claimed to be manager' barely spoke english and had a look on her didnt seem to believe us which made me more furious. Anyway was a disaster of an evening and wont be going back at all!

Myself and my friends (6 of us in total) were in Slough watching a comedy show event at one of the hotels on Wednesday 13th November 2019. Once this finished we decided to search for nearby restaurants which Nandos (Queensmere) popped up. We ordered our food and at first the staff seemed really pleasant and our food came out really quick. While eating our food my wife noticed rodents running freely under the tables. We all got up from our table and notified the staff including the manager who came towards us and without any hesitation; replied this is normal because there is a cinema on top of the restaurant. Once I heard this I was really shocked by the response we received and how the staff/manager think it is OK for rodents to be running freely in a restaurant. They did not even apologies for the lack of cleanliness of their store or offer a refund as we all did not even finish our meals. I am highly disappointed with the level of cleanliness from a well known franchise (Nandos).

Had a nice meal here with a business associate. Still consistently good and reasonably priced. The service was particularly good here.

I came and it was pretty much empty. I ordered 2 half chickens and it came really quickly and tasted fresh.

Excellent location! If you're after a nice evening at the movies in Slough, then Nando's is a necessary pit stop. Quite large inside area with a good amount of space between the tables. It is a loud environment so it might not be for everyone....

We visit on a regularly basis and never have any issues - food is served promptly and generally has tables available. Parking is convenient and nearby. Whole medium peri chicken 😉

My boyfriend and I wanted a quick dinner before catching the train on a weeknight evening. Good service and good food. The restaurant was busy enough but not crowded. It was a nice dinner.

Only use this one as it offers halal chicken, so pick up dinner coming back from work. No complaints or disappointment. Staff is friendly, place your order, fill up the sauces you want, sit by the waiting area and they bring your takeaway parcel to you.They get your order right first time around. It's a nice hot chicken meal and prices are reasonable for a family meal.

It is safe to say that this was the WORST Nando's we have ever been to.We were in the area and, to be honest, we just wanted somewhere to have lunch relatively quickly. We decided on Nandos because the food is generally very good and the service is normally very quick.We decided to try the Nando's in Slough and it is safe to say that was extremely disappointing.After being seated to our table by a male member of staff, everything was fine as they were friendly. The restaurant was not busy as most of the costumers have got their food already, We ordered our food from Zara. All was fine. After 30 minutes of waiting for our food, we decided to ask Zara where our food was. It's safe to say that Zara was less than useless as she said that it would be a few minutes. After another 5 minutes of waiting, we decided to ask another member of staff who was more helpful than the other. I suspect that Zara did not really check where our order was - which is ridiculous considering that your restaurant was not busy at all. However, this staff member had the initiative to take our receipt to the pass and reassured us that our food would be with us ASAP and apologised for the delay. Our food did indeed arrive in 2 minutes. However, the member of staff who served us the food, Zameer I think her name was - she was the host of the day - was disrespectful and just plain awful.You really need to train your staff as the service was awful. I have been to the Nando's in Gunwharf when there was 45 minutes wait for a table and the service has been a lot better!! So disappointed!

The food is good, but the last time I went here, the food took forever to arrive! Yes, it was very busy, but surely the staff could have delivered the food that was waiting to be taken to the tables. No! Instead, plates of freshly made food were sitting on the counter and two or three staff members stood there and didn't take the food to the tables immediately. The staff need to understand that when the food had been made, then you check which table(s) it has to be taken to and then take it to avoid angry, hungry customers!Otherwise, I recommend coming here since it's quite spacious and is mostly busy in the evenings, weekends and holidays. However during the afternoon in the weekday, it is quiet.

If you like chicken, you like nandos. I always go for the peri tamer marinade as it tastes similar to BBQ sauce

I like the ambience and the decor of the restaurant, but it disappoints in terms of choices for vegetarians. The only veg meal that it provided and that we had wasn't really good enough to compensate for the lack of choices. The service was alright though.

Nando en típico Slough High Street fuera del centro Queensmere. Si no estás familiarizado con Nando's entonces no estoy seguro de donde has estado! Es un restaurante asador de pollo que ofrece una gran alternativa a los típicos restaurantes de comida rápida. En circa 10 libras por un plato con dos lados, y recargables refrescos en £2. 60 es una muy buena relación calidad-precio y delicioso. En esta visita, el restaurante no estaba demasiado ocupado mientras el servicio fue rápido y amable. Vale la pena.

The food here was great, as always, and the service was wonderful. However, my Mom witnessed a drug deal outside the restaurant on the street and there were cops arresting a guy at the grocery store close by. Just saying.

I would eat there everyday. It is one of my favourite place. Half lemon and erbs chicken=divine! You must go.

Habiendo visitado numerosas ramas, esto es que evitar a toda costa y puede explicar por qué estaba tranquilo. Servicio de atención al cliente era no había. No hay registro de que la comida estaba bien, tenía que preguntar si la mesa podría ser clara y luego, cuando pedimos pudding, no sé si tenían y hubiera tenido que esperar hasta que alguien puede ser encontrado para ir arriba. Teniendo en cuenta los pocos clientes era inexcusable.

I ve been a costumer of Nando's since last 15 years and never have i experienced such a bad service and the food wasn't all that the rice was stale and hard no butter with the roll no tomato in the salad and had to go 3 times for the humus which was a starter the order was taken from someone who can hardly speak and understand English ..the staff is not helpful at all when I went to ask about the rice they didn't do anything for me after takin the whole payment . live just 2 mins away from Nando's but after this don't think will ever come to this branch again .

The food was OK but my enjoyment was totally spoilt by a family with 3 children that spent the first half hour screaming and then were allowed to run riot throughout the restaurant, racing around the tables, falling, screaming, putting their hands all over the food counters and pouring themselves drinks. This went on for an extended period.

The food is Typical to any Nando's Worldwide. But here the staff were very helpful, me being on a wheelchair, made sure, that we were very comfortable.

I decided to visit Nandos the other day mostly because they serve delicious Sangria but when I was ordering I was told that they don't make it anymore despite it being on the menu.

The food is Excellent and the service the give is outstanding they will come and ask you on the tables if you need anything else

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left - just poor !!!! Will not be returning - food was just warm - very greasy - had to ask for the table to be wiped - grubby !!!

Some nandos have great customer service but this one isn't one. Each time i go i do not get a great service. I ordered a takeaway and was told i would be waiting 10 minutes but instead had to wait 30mins! On the plus side the food was tasty as usual!!
