Nando's - Baker Street in City of London, Westminster

Sat 40 minutes no seats, terrible service, edited to say you need to make some kind of reservation system for this nandos, as the walk in service is not acceptable as children had to wait for this long

Enjoyed my experience here, there was a good atmosphere. Quite small compared to other Nandos and it can get busy here quickly. The food is as always 10/10

It was cool place, good for dine in specially for a family treat!

We were assigned a table. You then order online using the QR code at the table and pay directly. The food was served quickly, drinks are available with refills. The food is delicious and you can spice it up a little if you like. A good mix between fast food and a restaurant with an Indian touch. If you want to try something different, you should stop by here.

Nandos is always good....you know what you're getting. Free soda refill....very good.

The ambience in the windowless basement is not very inviting. You order your own food using the digital menu card. Food came quickly and tasted okay. The service was friendly and prompt.

The manager was on a hurry, he dobt offer to give you the receipt. He dont offer to give you points. He gives wrong order. Worst customer service compared to stores. Wont go there again. -star

Nandos is good food but at a price. However because I can guarantee it's gluten and additive free for me it's worth it.

This is a review of nandos generally and not a reflection on this branch specifically. I love nandos, and it used to be good value, but I'm finding more and more often that you are left waiting, sometimes over an hour after payment, for your food. Whilst the food is always tasty, quality and quantity are always touch and go, which I attribute to the issues with service speed and staffing levels. From what I can see, the issues are as follows: Nandos prices have increased in recent years, but staffing levels have not. Since adding delivery services to their stores, their customer base has increased considerably. The customers you see in store are only part of the overall orders currently waiting, and there are likely a lot more orders being prepared for delivery. Since staffing levels haven't increased since adding delivery options, eat in customers are left waiting longer while staff try to balance them with the delivery orders. Staff end up being put under increased pressure. This, in turn, results in inconsistency with quality control. You could end up with a little meat and a lot of salad, a lot of meat and a little salad or even not much of either. Sometimes, if you've been waiting longer, the food may only be luke warm, too. I have NEVER experienced poor customer service, which means staff are an amazing attribute to the nandos brand, and they must generally enjoy working there, or they wouldn't be as friendly and professional. But they are continually having to apologise to customers and I would assume eventually we may see a drop in staff professionalism if they start feeling deflated with the company charging and making more, but not investing in increased staffing to cover growth. Nandos is still an amazing place to eat, but compared to only a few years back, standards are slipping, seemingly to lack of investment in staffing, and it's a shame but still salvageable.

The guy took 10 mins on the till to serve us as we asked several times with no customers. The food was served cold!!!

Chicken was not cooked through and poor service

Uncomfortably dirty, and poor air ventilation.

Food is fine. But you cannot enjoy your food by the time it arrives due to the service and atmosphere. Firstly, they tell you that waiting time is about an hour when there are multiple tables available. And then the waiters don’t seem to use their brain. Rather than bringing people on the same table their food altogether, they only bring one persons and then the other people on the table have to wait a further 10-15. Then the food is cold by then. Basic restaurant unspoken rules is that you bring tables food altogether so that nobody has to just wait, or at least bring them within reasonable time of each other. Overall don’t recommend.

I usually love Nando’s but the staff of this location (especially one of the « managers ») is absolutely awful. Food arrived 1hr after my order (instead of 20 min). No apology whatsoever. The manager was super rude. Terrible experience.

Nando’s Restaurant one of my favorite place ; in each trip I search for it to try and enjoy the special taste and delicious plates ; I tried in Dubai and London and really it’s very special with this large variety of choices and also of hottest souses ; you can choose your level of spicy level 🔥in this time I tried the chicken liver and really was great .. I would like to thanks the service and waiters in this branch for great hospitality

We had an amazing lunch, great food, fast service, but most of all, the kindness of the waitress that helped us ordering the food. Special thanks to Rosangela, who helped all the way and made a special lunch for my family.

Les serveuses était très agréables et souriante elles vous explique très bien le fonctionnement des commandes et la nourriture était incroyable. Les toilettes étaient propres ça fait plaisir ! Nando's always good always consistent, Spicey! For a Global chain with South African roots, probably the best fast food chicken worldwide sorry KFC. Baker Street store delivered on brand. Wonder what Shurlock Holmes would have thought.

Deres kylling bryst havde fået for høj varme så kanten rundt var helt sort, og kyllingbryst var rå i midten. Selv om der kun står mild på deres dressing, er det meget stærk.

The service from the employees at this Nandos was exquisite. I was served by Angela. We took a huge order for our work colleagues and they cooked everything within 20 minutes and it was finished off by Polly, who even took the courtesy to make a Mac and cheese that was missing before I left. It was all done with care, love, respect and customer obsession. If you’re going to any Nandos in the Central London area; pick this one. You won’t be disappointed!

Staff sit on tables to eat and let customers wait.. we were for it will b a 15 min wait, we waited for over 30 min and eventually went to find our own table, staff had no idea tables were empty.

Day before yesterday, we went toNandos Soho and enjoyed so much that we decided to go again yesterday but ended up going to the Bakser Street one. Usually it's ok however, yesterday was really bad. First we had to wait 33 mins for our table, then another half an hr for our order as there was a mix up, then when the food finally came it was cold so we requested for hot food.. they said they'll give it, but as we were starving, we started eating the rice and chips and then they came and said as you've already eaten, we can only give you one piece of chicken. Like what thw hell. We complained and instead the manager became overly rude. After much fighting we did get some hot chicken but the wait wasn't worth it and it was such horrible experience.

Shocking service, still here waiting for my food, my friend ordered after me but got his food before me, the staff don’t seem to care, they don’t communicate with each other, different staff say different things, will never visit this Nando’s again by far the worst Nando’s I’ve been too!’

Absolutely useless staff. Beyond incompetent. My seat was downstairs and I was alone, so I took my bag up with me to place my order. I had to wait in line over 10 minutes to place my order, as there was only one person serving. I asked three times if someone else could jump on a til, but they kept brushing me off without even apologising for the wait. I eventually placed my order and went back downstairs to my seat, only to find that someone else had been seated there - leaving me without a table. I then had to wait 26 minutes before my food arrived (yes, I timed it). And guess what - one item was wrong, and another missing. Here’s an idea for you… try hiring people with an ounce of common sense and manners.

Normally don’t post reviews but the service we received today from Paola was outstanding. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. The food also arrived promptly and all the staff in general were pleasant to deal with.

Food was v good. But took 45 mins of waiting for us to ask and be told by 1 person that it will take 45 more mins,another to tell us 5 mins and another to bluntly say we can give you a refund. We had three kids with us. Absolutely no communication or will to update customers.

Was quick to get seated even though it was quite busy. The staff were friendly and polite. The food is great as always. The only thing that let it down was they were out of ice, machine wasn't working.

I didn’t realize that to order you must put it through the app. I’m from North America and we don’t usually have this system at Nando’s. Regardless, none of the staff informed me of this or welcomed me in. I waited 30 mins for someone to approach my table and then gave up and reached out to a staff member to place an order, after which I was informed of this process. Would have appreciated if they approached my table first and perhaps did a bit of follow up as well throughout the meal. Small customer service based gestures make all the difference.

Automated service, zero will to provide a good customer experience. One of my friends' meal took an eternity to arrive, even though she was the first who ordered, everything was freezing cold. Of course the dish was returned and cane back somehow warm. We were told to order through the app, but there was zero signal and I couldn't connect. They couldn't care less. There was only a young girl who was so sweet and was trying her best, who provided the best customer service in this place and the extra star I have for the service was only because of her.

Good location and plenty of tables. We were a group of 5 and the family platter was a perfect amount. You get two whole chickens and 5 sides. Chicken cooked well and very flavorful.

A well-deserved 5 star, I would even give 10 as this branch of Nandos is actually providing Halal chickens. It was one of the tastiest burgers I have ever eaten, and I thought the size of the burger could be a bit bigger. Was not impressed with the Peri Peri chicken, and rice was not up to the mark, but this rating is mainly for 3 reasons - tasty burger, halal food, and nice atmosphere. Will go back there again, and maybe this time, the chicke will taste better. Recommended to all, especially to Muslim people as you can Halal chicken here.

Was very nice, staff were also friendly. Had nandos for the first time and I must say they did not disappoint. Got a sunset burger + 2 sides and it was very filling for me personally.

Just had to stop one more time before departing London to head home to Germany. Love the “hot” sauce on the Peri Peri char-broiled chicken. Delicious. Plus this location was not out of the sweet potato wedges.

The staff were warm and welcoming, attentive. They were lead by example by the manager Fernanda, approached diners to check in with diners. The restaurant was clean, had a welcoming quality.

Tiny chicken burger. Bun unedible super hard. Tastless. Poor garnish, thin slice of tomato. Small amount of anemic chips, not cooked well. Still hungry afterwards.

The server made me feel I was inconveniencing them by needing to order my food. Topping it off, my order was wrong and not what I had asked for.
