Nando's in City of London, Westminster

Ordered via app and starter came fairly quickly. However then had a 50 min wait for mains. Had to ask in the end. No apologies given. One serving was cold when it arrived. Didn't ask for them to change it as hadn't got the time to waste.

Always run out of things especially the coke, happened a few times. This time no brocolli or sweetcorn. Sometimes some staff ignore you when you call them amd can be rude/ sarcastic.

We sat on table 37. My wife asked for a thigh. Went to place the order and ordered breast chicken piece. Story of my life. When the order was brought to the table, my wife pointed out the error and the staff were very polite. I admitted to the mistake and the staff kindly changed the chicken.

I went into Nando’s today to have lunch with my kids after school 4 kids in total 2 set of 8 year old twins and the other 7 year old twins. I asked to order a whole chicken but my kids only eat leg so I asked for the bottom half of the chicken. The cashier said they would have to ask the manager as the currently have 4 top half’s. The manager refused to let me buy the bottom half unless I bought 4 different chicken legs which cost £38 excluding drinks whereas the sharing platter was £23. I tried to plead with her but she wouldn’t even stop to talk to me she was telling me she can’t offer the bottom half’s because the have 4 top half’s which they have to get rid of. She acted so racist towards me and my kids because we are black. We wouldn’t even look me in the eye. I tried to beg her as the kids were really excited about Nando’s and this was my treat to them but I could not afford to pay for separate meals as I had actually saved up for this treat. We had to leave nandos. My kids were so gutted. There were 2 witnesses there that have said they will write a review as well as they were not happy with how me and my kids were treated. The managers name is Christina. She is literally the worst & most racist manager I have come across. I am not happy at all. I have been to other Nando’s in other areas and all the staff are so friendly and professional. I would never recommend going to this Nando’s as a single black mother trying to make ends meet.

Just awful, the wait was long the staff looked bored, not many serving. When we did get the food had to send back one dish 3 times. Spoke to the manager. So no refund after the 3 replacement arrived. Think I might give this place a miss for awhile.

Located at the top of Walthamstow market and near the bus station, this restaurant is one of the nicer Nandos in London. The restaurant is spacious and has a good open plan atmosphere. The decor is wooden mixed with vibrant colours. There is a good soundtrack of music that adds to the relaxed vibe. The staff are welcoming and the service is very quick when using the QR code. The food is well seasoned and hearty. The prices are good and affordable for most budgets. There could be more choices on offer for alcohol and dessert for those with dietary requirements. The toilet facilities are clean and maintained. Overall it is a nice experience for social dining.

Standard Nando’s fare. Good food, fair price, quick service, even on a Saturday night. Our waitress, Olivia, was particularly awesome - very accommodating.

I visited this restaurant on 23/02/22 after meeting friends for an afternoon lunch. I waited for at least 20 minutes for my meal. The restaurant wasn't even busy. I eventually got up to ask the waitress for my order. A lot of customer orders were just sitting on the counter with seemingly only one or two people attending to customers. When my order finally arrived, the food was cold. Tables were also not being cleared. I have visited quite a few Nando's restaurants over the years, with usually quite a decent experience but this is the worst Nando's I have visited to date.

We visited London and arrived last Friday about 7 pm extremely tierd and very hungry The staff were all so on the ball Ans so smiley 😊 We can’t thank you all enough for being so fast abs a lady at the till even helped me with a few olives on the house as it was all so challenging with the kids as we were all so exhausted from being up at 5 am The food arrived quickly ans with a smile The manager was incredible he was asking if everting was ok all the time Great team work guys One day we will be back to Walthamstow to say Thsnks again in person Love the family from Sheffield England Thanks again

I think my chicken must have died of starvation. All bone! The new 'rainbow slaw' is a complete let-down. Mine wasn't crunchy and did not taste fresh...or of anything! It was really chewy. Not nice. Why doesn't the place allow customers to check-in with the NHS app? Why are they not serving alcohol? I'd had a busy day and wanted a beer with meal. This place survives on its name. Met a friend who lives locally later. Told him of my bad experience. He told me that the locals know it's not a good place to eat. Perhaps this is why you have to pay before the food is served. No one would pay for this rubbish after trying it.

I went to nandos Walthamstow yesterday first of all was great, until we sat down we had no menus nor was offered as they had limited service I explained that it was fine but I need to see what was actually being served as I don’t order burgers. I ended up sorting it out at the till. Once ordered it took forever for our drinks, food was ok and quick but as it was limited and wasn’t busy. When asking for sauce they told me they do not sell or offer no sauces other then peri flavours. As my children wanted ketchup and had to go without, the extra drinks seemed to be a problem and on asking for 3 drinks he gave 1 and when I asked for the extra drinks didn’t seem happy to offer more and gave us different drinks, on observing another table next to us I found out that ketchup was available but to buy...!!!! I was not offered this option as I had to buy perinaise as alternative and they could have said then they had it for sale, they strictly said they have no sauce as they stopped it last week. But the table next to us had menus given and options of sauces. And drinks brought quickly. I find there service very poor. I contacted customer support and got an email stating that I’m a Karen, and I could have got up and got menus myself, I have made another email requesting someone higher to reply and had no response getting contact with anyone above the team leader is a joke.

A mix review- food great amd i can always enjoy a nandos. First time being at this branch in walthamstow and my only complaint was a staff member. He bought over the drinks and he spilt one drink, not an issue he got a replacement. When he bought over the food he kncoked over another drink going all over myself and a mobile phone. Not once did he appologise. He than went to get spray and tissue to clean it up and started sprayimg whilst the food on the table. Once again no appologies and no common sense to move us to other table or anything. We had to ask to be moved as we was sitting in a puddle as this stage. We have always enjoyed a meal from nandos and will always recommend the food but this branch and the staff are super poor with no manners at all. Especially this one guy that served our table was totally rude.

As a regular customer I was disappointed today,when I was asked to wait outside in the rain for my takeaway due to covid guidelines.Now i fully support social distancing,but when the ordering area is 10x10 foot in size and empty of people,I feel common sense should be applied and whilst maintaining social distancing people should be able to wait inside.Sadly when i raised this issue with the manager, I was told it was a company wide policy.Speaking as someone who has worked in restaurants for 11 years,I believe its poor planning from head office and lack of initiative or the freedom of initiative of General Managers that will cost the business customers ,which as the industry is struggling they sorely need.I doubt ill be back.

It was terrible services, Male store manager was awful, he could not handle pressure , bad thing is they took order from my family and after 1 hours waiting, guess what manager said we ran out chicken and not foods left in the restaurant. I asked a question why did you took the order, in his response we made an error we could not pass your order to the griller therefore we ran out foods, he offer me nothing , I argued about my time, then I left with my family unhappy .

Ordered the butterfly chicken with peri salted chips. Received dry overcooked chicken with plain chips. Made the supervisor Carlos aware of the chips as we never tasted the chicken at this point and he looked muttered something and walked away. Never bringing the peri salt...

Everytime I've been, my food was delivered very very fast and hot. Great for hungry kids who are impatient.

Dry chicken, cold and flavourless. This is my first time here, and I am sadly disappointed. Please improve and I will be back.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The staff were great to my children, made them laugh, brought them colouring and even a free desert pot. Couldn’t ask for more than that, it allowed me some much needed time to relax. Thanks guys xx

A new, spacious building with fairly efficient staff and the good quality food expected. However, the "balsamic" vinegar seemed to be watered down; even after asking staff, that was all that was on offer as balsamic.
