Nando's in Manchester

Food fab service was good but couldn't get my head round using the app to order food ,or going up to the till to order food ,would of been better with waitress service ,as it cost £69 + ,and we had to wait in line to be served then I was charged over £11.00 in tax ,was really disappointed and slightly pissed 😡 about the tax thing .

Visited this evening and have never been to this restaurant before but could honestly say staff were brilliant attentive which makes the evening so much more pleasant we were there celebrating a birthday of a colleague service food was excellent and a big shout out to rianah (sorry if that is spelt correctly) but she was lovely took the cake we brought and put in fridge till we needed it and then brought it to us when we asked great customer service

We had to wait along time for our food but got free starters as a good will gesture. So wasnt to bad but having to wait nearly 1 half hours for food was a bit of a joke. Hey ho.

Food on point as always but the customer service was the best thing. Everyone really friendly and there is many Nando’s around the Manchester area but this will be the one I will be 100% coming back to!!

I finally tried the butterfly burger and was the best thing I've ever tasted! Staff was friendly and went at a quiet time.

Tried to get in and there were no table for 45minutes...but they get four stars because it's Nandos .

Nandos here is Halal so guyz go crazy.. 😁 I love Nandos, no chicken 🍗 can beat the Nandos Chicken 😋, The only thing i would say is plan your Nandos there is always a wait of 20-25mins but my friends the wait is worth it. The staff always friendly.

Pathetic customer service, girl at the door takes reservations, extremely rude. Make you wait for hour and doesn’t bother about your turn. Untrained staff . Unhygienic place with food going on the floor. Avoid as much as you can . Not recommended at all 👎👎

Brilliant staff Busy but looked after very well

Food was great, and the service was good overall, but I did have to ask 4 different people for the same thing. The atmosphere was good too, but trying to talk to the person opposite can be difficult because it was very loud in there

The restaurant was rather busy when we arrived Friday night, we were greeted by the hostess who informed it would be a 25 minute wait. Easy enough to kill time at Manchester Fort, I was impressed with how the hostess held it together and dealt with the gentleman waiting just before us as they were rather obnoxious and intoxicated for some it may have been an intimatidating situation but she took it in her stride and moved them along pretty quickly. Our table was ready after the wait, food was great. Boneless chicken thighs and fino pita always go down well. Overall a great experience without any trouble. I had hoped the meals had improved but unfortunately a lot has changed. Size and portion of the food have dwindled to such a decree that I felt robbed. The chicken looked and tasted dry must of been provided from slimming World with very little meat but plenty of bone. This is not the usual standard unless things improve you have lost a family treat. Please do not blame the pandemic as this seems to be used in a lot of eateries for sub-standard food , C'mon Nandos get back to normality and provide decent portions as previously enjoyed

As expected, a busy unit two days after Christmas food ok.

Busy restaurant & the chicken is very skinny to satisfy a grown person's appetite. Maybe it's meant for teenagers only.

Food was okay but the service was very disappointing from start to finish

Me and my 2 kids usually go quite often and know how the atmosphere is, however, today was abysmal. Out of the many staff that served us, only one was competent. It was overcrowded and the most of the staff delivered empty promises for basic needs. When we were seated, our table was dirty and when we made someone aware, we got told to clean it ourselves. We had to ask several individuals just for plates because the first 4 people did not come back and ignored us while serving tables around us. We bought the bottomless drinks and around 2 mins later, we were told that the drink machine was broken and did not get a refund for our cup. Food was ok. This was not exaggerated and would most likely avoid next time.

Hadn't been in many many years to a nandos as the last experience at the Trafford centre branch wasn't great as the food and service was poor. Glad to say going to the Manchester Fort branch was a different and very enjoyable experience. The food was great, the chicken was fantastic and the halloumi states were better than expected. I would come back to this branch again and again from now.

Food tastes great, but the portion size and price don't go well. The vegan wrap i had was literally 4 bites and gone. Bean burger was also small, along with the garlic bread. Rainbow salad bowl though was great.

Quick stop here one afternoon after moving our son into a new flat and returned the rented van. The food was excellent, service friendly, and the environment good. Would recommend.

Nandos is always nice food, and I was happy with that, however the restaurant is quite dirty and looking tired. A bit off putting when there's old sauces splattered up the walls. Needs a good clean. Toilets not so nice either.

Service was extremely slow. It took nearly half an hour between starters and main meal. The floor was very dirty and was sticky. Looked like it had not been cleaned for months.

I could eat and eat and eat. The food is delicious. Its No1 in my diary now. My mouth is watering, thinking how delicious the food was. Yummy. Definitely would recommend.

No forks, food came and just got attitude from staff because I asked for a fork when told they where being washed I asked for my food to be taken back until there was some available I got more attitude train your staff in customer service! Chicken was very dry also like it had been made 30min ago

We popped in for a late lunch, it was very busy but to be expected as we can never seen to get in here especially on a Saturday, we waited around 40 mins before receiving a txt to say out table was almost ready so we left costa and made a short walk across the car park to Nando’s and as soon as we entered were taken to our table, the guy who greeted us was very nice, we ordered our meals on the app and also our drinks, they both came really quickly so that was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and plenty of it. I can’t complain about that. The service was also very good. My only complaint would be how grubby the restaurant is, all the windows and doors are very dirty with smeared finger prints everywhere. I also have to say which really is why im writing this review is how disgusting the toilet facilities are here!! I walked in and heaved and walked straight back out! They are possibly the worst iv ever seen! No hand soap in the dispenser either. I really was shocked. I really enjoyed my food but I was so put off by the cleanliness I won’t go again.

Food was ice cold Service was horrible

Ordered food. They haven’t gave glass with 2 bottles of water,coke and juice. Even we requested many times. Straws were falling inside because they were small. Really felt pathetic. They were giving everyone glass but not just 1 or 2 tables.

Staff are always friendly and very accommodating. The food here has always been on point. I would certainly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

Nando’s Manchester Fort is a go to place for us to order big team lunches. The staff are obviously very well organised and they get every part of our orders right. The last two times I have ordered from here we have ordered for 40+ people and everything comes just how it’s ordered and also very quickly. I have to say that I highly recommend this specific Nando’s for deliveries in Manchester 😊

Guaranteed quality food in a friendly atmosphere.

Food came really quick and was super hot - whole chicken was juicy; although the sides were on the small side (mash and coleslaw was flat against the rim of the dish). They also ran out of ice that day but tbf it was a really hot and sunny day! 3* on service as we were informed it would be a 30 minute wait after asking for a table for 2 with space for a pram. We notice that 3 lots of couples were seated before us.. 50 minutes went by and one of the workers came to tell us that they were still waiting for a table of 5 to free up. We were confused and told her that there was only two of us and baby doesn't need a highchair.. She apologised for the delay and walked us to the table and we could see that there were 6 other tables of 4 that were empty meaning we could have been seated much sooner. It was two of the workers that noted down our table request of 2 too. Shame we had to wait so long.

The place is little bit dirty and the food delays around 30 - 90 minutes.

Was served by a staff member kara .. absolutely top class service ..very polite and friendly. She made my day.

What the shocking service and really bad attitude very rood

Top Halal Nandos location, lots of parking nearby, nice & cosy, can get very busy on Weekends, toilets are out of order sometimes & no ice, otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Absolutely shocking food was cold chicken was bland the bap on my burger was like it's just been defrosted fell to bits, me my wife and my daughters food was dreadful, probably the worst I've ever had everything was bland stay away

Gone very downhill as have a lot of nandos, the staff couldn’t get care less about the food quality or what you have to say. Sad because I used to love nandos but i wont be running back any time soon

Very quick service even when ordering through the app. Also one of the few nandos that ive been to that accept orders at the bar/kitchen.

Its usually very busy, took 15 minutes to get the table and after that almost 20 minutes to get food.

Burgers where abit small and chicken goes hard pretty quick but staff where nice to deal with and seating was not bad, would be good if they had a upstairs for family but not a bad spot with plenty of parking

I visited nando's yesterday, food was nice and delicious but service standards were not very good.i waitied at door for a while and no one was their to receive us. Table was dirty, i have to call staff to clean the table. They took long to come that make me frustrated. Even the serving plated did not clean properly. Overall Food quality was good . I recommend this place.

Staff were very friendly and polite. Ordered a salad which wasn't very pleasing but once pointed out to staff it was replaced, did take ages for it to come back out. Other than that perfect.

Worst ever experience. I attended the restaurant along with my family to dine in. We ordered the food and after long wait when enquired about our order, we were then quickly served cold food which was not properly cooked. It might be from an order that was we returned or cancelled by other customer. When I complained to staff at till, she sent couple of staff members who took the food back with an assurance that they would bring hot food. But when 50 minutes passed, food was not served, and a guy came to clean our table, we asked him as to when our food would be served? He then spoke to the staff members in kitchen area but with no avail. I also lodged verbal complaint at the counter. Subsequently, a male staff member probably the manager arrived and said sorry that they missed us. He said that they could make and serve hot food or I could get my money refunded which I preferred and took my money back. It was an unpleasant and disgusting experience. The Nando’s staff not only wasted our time, but also spoiled our day. It was poor customer service. The staff members were busy in chit chat with each other and three of the staff members were eating on a table when customers were waiting for their orders. Never seen such a poor service in my life!!!

The queue is long as usual however the online queuing system tells you exactly how long the wait is going to be. Staffs are very delight and friendly and the actual order didn’t take too long to arrive. Food is as tasty as it should be.

Good to orders from but DON'T get it delivered and CHECK THE ORDER AT THE RESTAURANT! We ordered take away twice, first time a few weeks ago they forgot a side and this time today they forgot the MAIN from my partners order. I had to share my main with him so he could have something to eat. Now he is 40g of protein the day before gym day, so I'm going to have to cook him something which is the very thing we PAID nando's to assist me in avoiding. Very frustrating and disappointing. 😡😡

The food is always on point at the Fort Nandos, it can get really busy though, especially during the Christmas shopping period.

first thing first 😀 location is quite convenient and car park is big enough to find a convenient spot. Place is beautiful inside out and we had good customer service. Food is always best quality anyway ❤️

Food is always hot and nice. Service can be slow, but that's understandable as this is a popular place to eat. Always clean even when it's packed out. Staff are polite and helpful.

Nandos auf dem Parkplatz eines Einkaufszentrums. Chicken wie immer sehr lecker, vor allem durch das Grillen. Man bestellt selbst in dem man einen QR Code scannt, die Tischnummer eingibt und dann auswählt was man haben möchte. Es gibt Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und eine Menge Getränke. Die Mitarbeiter die uns bedient haben waren alle freundlich und schnell. Man kann sich auch eine der leckeren Soßen in den unterschiedlichen Schärfegraden mit nach Hause nehmen. Bestellung und Abholung sind natürlich auch möglich.

The nice as usual.There was no tables when I took the kids in .I was informed the waiting time was about 20mins.The kids and I decided to browse around the shops .I was alerted on my phone when the table was ready.very smart.Nice staff and nice atmosphere.

Our second visit this year it’s convenient to the hotel, again very busy which is always a good indicator last time we did take out which was excellent, this time we decided to wait for a table 35 mins, in reality this was about 15 mins. We had a pitta bread and a Portuguese roll each with a side of chips, all came out quickly and were hot and tasty so empty plates.

Not my best Nando’s experience. The portion size was much smaller compared to previous deliveries and the chicken arrived rather dry which I was surprised at. I usually only ever have positive experiences with this Nando’s, maybe an off day…

Really good food and service. Had a memorable time there.

Only downside was having to wait to long for a table. Also only two fizzy drinks available was disappointing.

Nando's is a brilliant formula, and they deliver time after time. This place gets busy but they provide all the lovely food you'd expect. It's quite an old restaurant though and some tables are worn and need a new coat of varnish. Finally, you can order directly from the app, but you can also order at the counter.

Chicken was dry, tasted off. The sauce I wanted was unavailable and was told by staff it's on other people's tables instead of getting me a little tub of it, like other nandos do. I think it was a rule as the staff were generally really nice.

Food perfect every time, just need a bit more cleanliness between seatings. For example, the screen that separates booths was full of marks and wasn't nice to eat next to. Other than that I can't complain.
