Nando's in Manchester

Came for some lunch, service was alright. Had to go up to get our own glasses after waiting for them to arrive (as we ordered online). 2/3 dishes arrived, asked a member of staff about this and try to say we ordered to another table which we didn't do... showed the order and they did give us 2 free sides. Although when my order came it wasn't what I originally ordered but by that time I was so fed up and just wanted to eat. Not usually up to par to other Nando's I've been to... probably won't be coming back.

Nando's is one of those places where you know what you're getting – decent food, decent vibes. Their peri-peri chicken? Yeah, it's pretty tasty, no complaints there. And those fries with peri-peri seasoning? They hit the spot. But here's the thing: the experience can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes you luck out with a server who's on their game, super friendly and attentive. Other times, it feels like they're just going through the motions. Overall, Nando's isn't blowing my mind, but it's not the worst either. With a bit more consistency in service and maybe some new menu items to spice things up, it could easily bump up a star or two.

Lee and Owen (the khaki brown shirt and one in black t shirt) were top lads, came in with 7 of us and 2 kids on table 28 & their service was top notch, their etiquette and service was outstanding, especially when our table was so demanding, they’d quickly get hired by fine dining restaurants, so give them both some praise, they’re a huge positive to you’re business.

Terrible service, completely empty when we visited - yet staff stood around chatting doing nothing. Once we had ordered, no glasses were brought over despite around 8 staff members stood around doing nothing. Food was delicious and came very fast, however the food came before the glasses did, we had to ask for multiple missing items from our order. Staff member who brought the food over had very long hair which she kept swishing around near the food collection area - felt very unhygienic. Most cutlery and glasses were dirty. Despite this, staff were lovely on arrival and when leaving, and accommodating throughout when issues were brought up to them.

Omg slay xx thanks for serving us when we got in quite late just pickrd up one of my mum's from the airport and it was SO nice I loved it love the staff love the vegan option I'm really sorry but just going to admit that once I stole one of those salt shakers that look like an egg and the chicken stick but I can't help it I love stealing xx I'm sure it's easily replaced love you Nandos xx

Service is terrible, busy or quiet you have to wait ages for your food. Lots of people walking around doing nothing whilst there is food sitting under the lights waiting to be taken to the table. Only Nando’s I have ever had an issue in…this store lets the franchise down!

Friendly staff, efficient services and tasty food

The least you expect when going out for dinner is having cutlery. Me and two friends went in for dinner before the cinema. We noticed straight away whilst grabbing sauces, napkins etc that there were no forks. We asked a member of staff who said they would be out soon. We waited and by this post our food had arrived. We asked another member of staff who said that the forks were coming. Waited for 5 minutes still no forks with our food going cold. I had to open the door into the kitchen to ask for forks and was told they were being washed. All in all we had to ask about 5 members of staff for some forks, all of which were not very apologetic and looked like they couldn’t be bothered to be there.

No complaints with food, however be prepared for a long wait

wow, delicious, and with Portuguese music in the mix. Just gets a tad too busy, and you often have to wait to get seated. But worth it. Update: February 2024 This time I decided to pay and take-out. I waited 40mins, and while I waited two ladies (next to me) ordered online. They received their order 15mins later. I asked a gent and he replied "wait and we will shout your number." Yet nobody shouted any numbers, nor are there any sign system like Argos. I asked again 10mins later - It was placed in a under counter cupboard. Upon opening outside, I bit into the wrap to find it was luke warm, and the chips cold. While the atmosphere is good, the service is awful. Won't go back again!

Great fast food peri-peri chicken

It’s such a shame that this place is so bad as we used to love coming here. The service is now so bad; full of student employees that don’t care less about customer service. Food always takes at least 40 minutes to arrive after ordering - not fast food! How long does it take to grill pre-cooked chicken? There is always a mix up with our order and we always have to chase the bottomless glasses because they are never brought to our table. This time, there was no dressing for my salad, the garlic bread was cold and we had to ask for glasses and where half our order was! I have given this place so many chances. It doesn’t improve so sadly, I won’t be back.

Food was cold, service was so slow it might as well have stopped, staff seem so miserable and clueless. They need serious training on customer service skills, if you don’t want to be there then simply leave!

absolutely shocking waited 45 min then seated at the table near the door the que was massive. we froze food came after another 45 min. The staff have no customer service skills no emotional intelligence it’s like a take away. We asked to be seated elsewhere they told us we will have to go back on the waiting list. It used to be pleasant when i used to come before covid however now i don’t recommend the place. Next time i will go to white city as the service is friendly and much better atmosphere.

VISIT 02/02 Decided to spend our anniversary here and went for lunch. Disaster. Restaurant is meant to open at 11:30 AM. It did not open until 11:35 and the tables were all dirty. An older female staff member was cleaning tables (ie, wiping crumbs onto the floor) and walked past our table not intending to clean it. I politely requested for her to clean it and thanked her. She glared at me and wouldn't speak. All knives and forks dirty. To echo a recent reviewer re hygiene standards. I concur. There are 0. Disorganised staff . this place has a high turnover for managers because no one knows what they are doing. too busy stood around talking. For those who aren't aware. The food is prepared and is ready FAST. However it sits for an age on the counter , waiting for the wait staff to bring it over.......and when they eventually do its cold Ordered food, didn't receive a glass for my bottomless drink, others did despite ordering after me. I had to go up to the counter to get a glass. Food arrived cold. Menus and Nandos sauce bottles sticky and dirty Utter disappointment.

We had a £200 lunch order delivered to our office today and what a nightmare! Myself and a colleague ordered a Sunset Burger each only to find that both of them were moldy!! We were so shocked that I phoned and spoke to the manager(Mark) I had the poorest response ever…….. No apology and was told the safety team would contact me, when I asked what about our lunch(not that I’d eat there again) I was basically told there was nothing he could do and should just request a refund through the delivery App!! Really felt compelled to write this as this is very bad hygiene and also really poorly handled by the restaurant. How many people have eaten there today or any other and not they were eating moldy food as the restaurant clearly doesn’t check before they serve it?

The chicken was slightly overcooked, but overall, the food was very tasty, and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. The staff provided excellent service. Lots of free parking nearby.

Very similar to all of the Nando's franchise restaurants on every level. Unique selling point is location - huge free parking and entertainment facilities short walking distance, allowing families and friends have whole experience of convenience without of hustle! Just for that, highly recommend!

Poor service and average food. After asking how much longer our food will be (which I hate doing) it finally arrived after 55 minutes. Most of it was cold and the rice was hard, it’s a shame as Nando’s is normally great at any branch you visit, but this time a bad experience unfortunately.

We ordered 3 starters and 2 burger menu. Took them 25-30min to get us the starters after we asked once to one of the young waitresses. Starters did not even come all at once. at least 4 tables who came after us got their food and left by the time we're done with the starters and still waiting for our burgers. The queue system was ridiculous. After asking for the second time about the food, the waitress apologized and made a full refund of our order which compensated a bit the delay, we were late to watch a movie because of that

It's just the same as every other Nandos.

The chicken breast was not tasty to me

Paddy is one rude rude girl. Doesn’t help at all and chewing chewing gum in my face the whole time. Disgusting. All the other staff were happy to help

Offers the expected flavors and quality in their dishes. However, the sauce bottles were noticeably marked with fingerprints and lacked cleanliness, making the dining experience somewhat off-putting. Take some wipes for the communal bottles

We had a lovely lunchtime visit. The restaurant wasn't too busy which was nice. Manager was lovely, checking if we had allergies, and making sure all the food was nice, which it was. It was delicious

Great service. just sometimes there is a long wait to be seated. But overall great experience and great food. Staff are friendly most of the time too. We have been there many times and will visit again soon! My favourite is the chicken wings and thighs. The whole chicken can be dry sometimes.

We had our medically complexed child with us who is in a wheelchair. The lady who greeted us at that door went out of her way to seat us in a place where we would all be comfortable. Also not feel like we were in the way of anybody. We ordered a platter and the young man who brought it over asked did we want plates. When he brought them over he brought three plates one for each of us and one for our boy. We really appreciated the fact the young man didn’t ask did our boy need a plate. He didn’t presume anything about our boy he treated him like he treated us. He also went out of his way to open the door when he saw us leaving. Food was also lovely.

Excellent customer service provided when collecting food.

We use this halal Nandos as a stop off for lunch before flying out (it’s around 10-15 minutes drive to the Manchester airport car park facilities). It’s understaffed at times but service has always been prompt

Arrived here eager to devour some chicken. But was bitterly disappointed to find myself and my Mrs stood at the entrance waiting for around 10 min whilst waiters stood there looking at us / talking/ doing nothing productive. Nor were they busy and plenty of empty tables. In those 10 minutes I nearly collapsed from hunger. This was going to be a night in A&E had I not eventually thrown a strop and gotten a table.

Have ordered collection a couple of times from here on weekends. Its usually 10-15 mins late. It is usually crowded whenever I have visited.

We went to Nando’s parrswood it wasn’t too busy we got served quickly by Mo who was a very pleasant and easy going guy the food was spot on we were 10 people in all and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was exceptional but got to give credit to Mo who was very attentive to our needs as we had young children with us he is a credit to your establishment we will be coming again soon

The grilled chicken burger was delicious and sauce is little bit spicy and yummy so score is 12 out of 10.

Food was ok but the prices have increased not worth going with kids.

Food was bland, order was wrong and service was slow (an hour wait to get the food). Wouldn’t recommend going to this one.

Our first visit to Nando’s and our Last !! Dreadful experience, someone vomited in the restaurant and someone in a blue shirt who I assume was in charge was speaking to the person who was Unwell fight next to our table telling them they could come back for a free meal all the time the smell of vomit as our meal was being served was overwhelming,a few minutes later one of the waiters was complaining to another that he was not cleaning up the sick as it as disgusting, I was there for my sons birthday we could not eat our meal which was luke warm a bad day for Nando’s we will not be returning if I could give less than 1 I would

The food was fabulous and the staff were fantastic – every last one of them. The restaurant was a bit cramped for comfort. The furniture was awful. I think our table had been rescued from a rubbish dump. Not sure a dining table in that amount of distress is appropriate for serving food. I was definitely going to award only two stars at this point. Then I went to the Gents’ toilet !

I want to give Jamie a mention. We came in on New Year’s Eve. He was so polite and hard-working. He couldn’t do enough for us.

This restaurant is so tired now! The cushioned seats are so dirty and tables sticky Food very average - it was served so fast and was Luke warm Staff were lovely but the brand has left me wanting more ;(

Bad from start to finish. Nobody greeted us at the door, we asked a member of staff for a table and he grunted at us and picked up some menus; before he led us to a table he took the time to shake hands with his mate who had just walked through the door (he reached across me to do this). He then just dropped the menus on a table and walked away. Food came out cold, we had to ask for glasses for drinks and missing salt and other items. The place didn’t seem particularly clean (or perhaps just tired), male staff standing around chatting and playing on phones, female staff appeared to be doing most of the work and nobody appeared to be in charge. Food was actually ok (when replaced with hot) but let down by really bad service. Wouldn’t go back even if you paid me.

This used to be my favourite Nando’s restaurant. Today’s visit was a huge letdown! Soft drinks- only Coke Zero or Diet Coke were working. Straws-non available! Plates- only 2 left and absolutely filthy. Cutlery- no teaspoons for my children to use. Food- peri chips hardly had any powder on!

Shocking service. Had to go and get our meals from under the hot plate ourselves as no-one waitressing and was sat there getting cold for 10 minutes. Never been before, didn’t have a clue how or where to order. We were seated, given menus and after no one coming back to the table for 20 minutes had to go and find someone. Unbelievable. Never again.

I been to a few Nando’s in various areas, but this has to be the dirtiest one ever, probably I would say one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever been in It wasn’t particularly busy when we arrived so we’re seated straight away, I ordered from the app, which was fairly straight forward It was whilst waiting for the food I started to notice how dirty the place was, it wasn’t just detritus from one day, it was dried up food stains, very dirty chairs, sticky tables, at this point I was beginning to think if the restaurant side is dirty what is the kitchen like The food arrived and it was okay, the staff were not particularly enthusiastic about their jobs, certainly didn’t exceed expectations, by the time we left, which wasn’t too long as I didn’t want to hang around there was a queue forming for tables I would not go back again unless it seriously overhauled its cleaning standards

This door looks broken over a year. I visit this place every week and it’s getting worse... Food and service really good but hygiene is really bad.

My favourite eating out place. The food is always up to perfection, the service is 5*, Might have to wait a little as its a busy branch but its all worth it the wait.

Just like all Nandos lovely food but just a bit to busy here nearly always have to wait for a table.

Nandos is perfectly placed for a quick mealbefore or after a trip to Cineworld (which is almost next door). The food is pretty good (definitely better than other fast food places such as McDonalds) and the staff are friendly. Avoid the bench chairs next to the aisle as each bench is joined back to back with the one next to it. This means they really shake and wobble if someone sits on the table behind you. We moved seats because it was so uncomfortable.

Llegué hoy (11/07/2019) con 5 usuarios de silla de ruedas y 4 asientos. Desde que entras por la puerta hasta que te vas, tu personal nos trató con la mayor dignidad y respeto y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. Como esto puede ser bastante difícil de encontrar lugares que atiendan a tantas personas discapacitadas, me sorprendió gratamente la alta calidad de la atención al cliente por parte del personal y la forma en que se acomodaron. Gracias especiales al gerente de didsbury parrswood Nando's y le pedimos a nuestra camarera que haga de nuestra experiencia lo mejor posible en circunstancias difíciles. Todo el personal fue paciente y amable y se esforzó al máximo para que nuestra experiencia fuera inolvidable. La comida fue perfecta y todos los miembros de su personal son un activo para su equipo de trabajo. Gracias, Parrswood de Nando.

Went on a saturday night expecting it to be busy having been many Saturday nights prior BUT this was something else. Carnage!

He estado aquí dos o tres veces en los últimos meses, ya que a mis nietos les encanta (5 y 8 años). Sin embargo, en cada ocasión me han dejado sintiéndome un poco decepcionado.

Habiendo estado solo en Nando en una ocasión anterior hace unos años, terminé aquí y desearía no haberlo hecho.

Visité este lugar, ¡y se ensucia más y más! ¡Es como si el lugar nunca se limpia! Tan decepcionante como me encanta Nando!

We are regulars at Nando’s but when we visited recently the chips were cold and the chicken was dry which was disappointing for us as we usually stand by nandos. Will not be giving up hope though as every restaurant has their bad days and it was busy

Great value food at Nando’s with good choice of chicken dishes and varied sides. Choose your spice from mild to hot and help yourself to sauces. Good that soft drinks are ‘help yourself to refills’.

Came into Nando’s for a friends birthday meal, I tried but to book a table in advance becasue there was a lot of us, they refused, as we came in we asked for a table they said it will be 40-50 mins it was 45 min wait, we sat down my friend wanted to order butterfly chicken but was unable to have this as it would take 40 mins, we asked for knife and forks but was unable to get that and was given plastic ones.
