Nando's in Redditch

First time there menu can be a bit daunting at first but super friendly staff helped to explain the options, nice vibe too.

Lovely food and unlimited drinks

Dear god this place is bad. In an almost abandoned shopping centre with zero atmosphere. Cold and bleak. Weed smoking teenagers in huddles on the entrance to the centre. Food was ok, chips semi warm, wanted a dessert but menu was removed from me as soon as they gave me the main course. Sticky table. Extra point for the lady behind the till who did her best to be professional. Otherwise it’s a KFC with a longer wait and some alcohol! Best avoided and head to somewhere else ………like the next county! By the way I like Nando’s and often eat in other branches so this is very location specific.

One of the better places to eat in the kingfisher. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. As for the food well its Nandos, what's not to love

Kid friendly nandos with a lot of space. Staff were friendly, lots of space for the kids around the table. Food tasted great.

Adequate. Food is ok, service is ok, but the restaurant is looking tired. While there's nothing wrong with it (and i have enjoyed a take out previously), it feels as special as a post McDonald's.

This Nandos has to be hands down the friendliest of them all and the most helpful. My partner is lactose intolerant and milk allergy and they bent over backwards to help during our order taking and finding out other ingredients

Went to nandos after a few years and loved every minute of being there. Enjoyed the food very much. Would definitely recommend the peri mac and cheese.

Lovely restaurant, good choice of seating and food options. We had the boneless platter that was cooked perfectly, the pieces of chicken were a good size and the sides were plenty enough for two and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful and I must give a mention to Josh, who was exceptionally helpful when we had problems with a gift card.

Quick lunch, we knew Nandos before. Friendly staff, juicy grilled chicken thighs. Bit more spicy as desired, but acceptable. Reasonable prices.

Always great service, eat in and take out. Especially being coeliac, i have never had an issue ordering, managers are always friendly and go above and beyond to help showing you the allergy menu and ensure food is prepared and served separately. Foods always fresh. Thank you☺️

We visited for a meal with myself, my partner and our baby. I was a bit nervous about going out as our baby has multiple allergies and, as I am breastfeeding her, I have to avoid all of her allergens and we’d had a rubbish experience in a local pub the weekend before. Well I need not have worried. The staff and the system were great!! We were asked re allergies on our way in and advised to order at the counter and the manager would take our order, which she did. Full allergen info was easily available and their online menu lets you filter menu items by allergen too, making the whole process super simple and there was actually hardly anything that I wasn’t able to eat as most of the menu was free from her allergens. The food arrived quickly and was lovely and hot and there was even a little extra flag on my meal to show it was an allergy meal which filled me with confidence too. It seems small but this visit filled me with so much more confidence and reassured me I’m not going to be stuck inside the house unable to eat out and cheered me right up so thank you.

We are usually huge fans of nandos and it is usually our restaurant of choice for a quick bite out. But today's experience has hugely put me off. Firstly, it was absolutely freezing in there and we were trying to find the warmest part of the restaurant, then they had none of the marinade I wanted, and then had no macho peas. When the food arrived, the coleslaw was the smallest portion we'd ever received and my half chicken was dry, overcooked and had minimal flavour. Really disappointed following today's experience.

Sat evening ca. 7pm place was very empty inside & out. We were there for dinner before going up to the cinema. All the time we were there all staff members were very polite & friendly. We didn't have to wait too long before staff brought the food out to our table. We complimented on how tasty the chicken was - certainly not too dry, chips were well seasoned/spicy.

food was alright but a woman behind counter working in the kitchen would not stop singing songs from Pitch Perfect which radiated throughout the venue. So off putting, out of tune and sensory overload with the other music going on. Not a very professional look.

Went recently with my girlfriend after not being for a while and was disappointed with the service. my girlfriend arrived 2 minutes before me and as she was stood waiting to be sat some of the kitchen staff spotted her and visibly rolled their eyes- which is just rude. Ordered a Lemon and herb chicken wrap - got the wrong flavour when delivered which would not have been a problem had a member of staff come over to check how our food was however for 10 mins no member of staff to be seen anywhere apart from someone who we were later told was the supervisor stood chatting to another manager who was on his laptop in the corner. By this time my girlfriend who was kindly waiting for me to get the correct food had had her own food go cold. we eventually managed to find someone who fixed the problem with the food and later spoke to a manager who was then lovely and even gave me a refund on the incorrect meal and went above and beyond to cater for us for the rest of the time there. just a shame as i myself work in a restaurant so know the importance of check-backs on tables and this all could have been avoided - mistakes are common in kitchens but if staff are on top of things they can be resolved so fast it stops being a problem. thank you to the nice manager we dealt with but the rest of the staff need some serious training.

I went to Nandos this evening with my partner. I had a pitta and my partner had the thighs. Whilst eating the thighs, my partner found that the chicken appeared to not be cooked fully and therefore couldnt eat anymore of them. I complained to the manager and she patronised us through out the conversation. She did however give us the money back for my partner thighs and offered us complimentary desserts...which we didnt take. What shocked me the most is when she took the thighs back to the person who cooked them, we heard him say 'well its thighs, what do you expect'. I expect my meal to come properly cooked...that's what I expect. Poor attitude from the staff we won't be going back, we were very disappointed.

I'd never been to a Nandos before but I took my friends kids -on there recommendation. Large restaurant with high ceilings, funky fixtures and friendly staff. Lots of chicken! All different levels of spice. I had extra hot chicken thighs, buttery mash and stem broccoli... It was fantastic! Loved it, simple and tasty with fresh crunchy veg. Kids had an array of delights all tailored to there needs which was amazing. Also the service was impeccable!! Si I think his name was (think he was a manager?) really friendly, funny and attentive. Great experience thankyou. Will return next time I'm in Redditch.

The best nandos branch. Staff are so friendly asked if we needed any help and then when the server came over with our food he said they had an extra halloumi side that they made by accident and asked us if we wanted it free of charge! it made our day! thanks staff keep doing what you’re doing!

Huge edit.... Sorry Nandos, you're now bang average at best. No longer offering red pepper dip, frankly a criminal move. No longer offering the mango and lime sauce, real shame. Chicken was a bit dry, and very garlicky, more garlic than flavour. Prices have really gone up (yep, am aware what the Trussterf*ck did)

Awful experience- got given a stone COLD chicken burger. Annoyingly I ate it before I complained about it, but it has made me ill and I’m 25 weeks pregnant. Gave me really bad tummy pain all night and because of this I’ve had to be off sick! Waste of money £15 to get cold food and a bun that isn’t even a proper burger bun. When I did complain to the guy at the end of the meal he didn’t offer any refund or anything, just said sorry about that and walked off. I won’t be going again. Would have been better eating chicken nuggets at home!

It was our first time visiting Nando’s. Staff were very attentive when we arrived. Food came out quickly and was really tasty. Excellent service all round.

Great food but wear a coat! We been there 3 times in the last two months. Food always great even fir me thr vegetarian there is quote a good choice whether it be a chic pea and bean burger or a fake chicken burger with chilli jam and other stuff it's always amazing. However yesterday we coulsnt wait to eat and run as it was so cold on there. Air con on abs was blowing straight down my neck even tho it was cold in the shipping arena anyway. Put the heating on!!! Staff always very polite and attentive and were working very hard. Great place.

Just what you expect from Nando’s

Amazing Customer Service especially from David. He was kind and sweet and had a very outgoing positive attitude. He helped me fill up my drink as I have problems walking around which was amazing of him. I will be coming again and I’m hoping he will be here to serve me once again. Thank you Nandos and thank you David.

Went for a meal yesterday and I can now tell with out a doubt something wasn’t cooked correctly because I’ve nothing been throwing up, now I’ve had to take time off work because I’ve been sick.

Drove 30 mins just to come to the Redditch branch, after going to another branch and having to walk out as the service just didn’t compare! Staff here are friendly and are very helpful at adapting the children's menu when needed, and don’t make you feel like your asking too much either. Food is always hot too! Thank you Redditch! Keep up the good work! Other branches have a lot to live up to on so many levels!

Ok tried to get a vegan salad sold out. The vegan burger came in a bun I can only describe as dry. Dressing was too much and awful. Side dish bland

Nandos never disappoints. It's always good. Even when I try something new on the menu, it's good. The staff are friendly and polite too. Child friendly which is fab for my wild child. Nandos you so cheeky.

Ordered as a takeaway - in some places takeaway prices can differ however Nando’s is the same whether you eat in or take out. This was my first time ordering as a takeaway Due to the size of the takeaway boxes I was disappointed by the prices as I felt the chips and spicy rice were really small. I also ordered the vegan salad which was very tasty and would order again I was offered peri sauces and also a very helpful staff member offered an allergen sheet if I needed

First time we went to this one. im not a fan of nandos but my wife is. i just had had corn on the cobs that were over priced like everything else. but they are the best corn on the cobs. my wife really enjoyed it i thought it was ok just very pricey.

Not one to complain, however this was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Waited 1 hour 10 mins, food didn’t come and the manager type lady didn’t even offer an apology, just a grunt and look on her face that looked as if she literally couldn’t care less. A true disappointment The wider nandos business would be disgraced

Lovely meal and great atmosphere. Bottom-less drinks and the chicken gravy were highlights for me and staff are extremely friendly and ready to help. Only criticism I can give is that only 1 staff member wore a mask and none were seen using hand sanitiser, so I think more covid prep is needed. Anywho, fantastic food and I will be back.

I visited Nandos for the first time on Friday 3rd December in Redditch. Someone took us to a table straight away, which was lovely, and sat us spaced away from people so weren't all on top of each other. Unfortunately, the first words out of the young girl's mouth was "would I like to buy a raffle ticket", I said no, I'd like to sit first and then deal with that after. She went away and we were left sat for about 10 to 15 minutes waiting for someone to bring us a menu. When this didn't happen, I caught someone's eye and asked for one. The lady apologised that we hadn't been given one. We were then left again not having been told anything about ordering. My sister eventually said we'll do it on line so she started that process which was time consuming. Then a lady appeared to say how are we getting on with ordering and by this time we'd nearly completed an order !! She said we could go up and order if we wanted to. Bit late for that really. Order put through, we then waited another 10 to 15 mnutes for glasses to arrive so we could get our drinks. None appeared so again I asked for some. And they arrived along with cutlery. Food appeared after a while and was so worth the wait. Gosh it was delicious. Rainbow salad, sweet potato fries (where unfortunately weren't that hot), and a small chicken breast. Really well presented. My sister's food was equally as good and she enjoyed it. We weren't offered any sauces and I did notice other tables were. I also saw the girl with the raffle tickets and was able to buy some from her. Nandos: don't assume everyone has been before and knows the drill i.e. get your own drinks. give out menus as you are seated. and give people the choice at that point to either order on line or go up to bar and do it. Definately I would go again simply because I enjoyed the food and the place itself. Staff were ok, service just wasn't "joined up" on this visit.

Our first nandos didn't disappoint! Food was wonderful, came out fast and hot. Everything was explained to us and upsold appropriately. Amy served us and she was super, the place was so clean, would 100% return.

Friendly staff, not a fan of ordering from the app but most places do it nowdays, menu somehow limited but food was good when arrived.

For the price point its very good. The staff were attentive and the food was nice. It would have been good to have something to occupy the kids.

Without a doubt the worst meal i have ever had delivered. The chicken was so overcooked its inedible. No way of feeding back through the app no one to talk to to complain. Online help is offline. Famous for chicken and can't cook it properly. Will not recommend ordering online wait until lockdown is over and go sit inside and if they serve you poor food you can send it back. Doesn't rate 1 star. Dismal experience.

Slow due to covid measures. I had the half chicken. For a half chicken, I would have expected more meat than there was. It was OK, but not really worth the price charged for the quantity of food.

Food was nice, there are a variety of options so people who like spicy food and other who like myself need an emergency milk supply just in case will be happy. However the ordering process is horrific on their website slow, cumbersome and contains lot of unessisary steps.

5 boys for an 11th birthday celebration. Adults close by. Have to say every single member of staff was amazing. Attentive, understanding and well delivered. Food was great and some of the new healthier sides were great. Will come again and would recommend.

Love this Nandos and the food is to die for. Always clean as are the toilets. Great use of wood/timber and the layout and design is great. Only down side are the small 2 people tables near the back bit squashed but polite and helpful staff who work hard. Great artwork and great food.

Scan to queue system seems to be ignored by team working, as lots of vacant, clean tables when finally allowed in. Food generally served quickly, but twice now, drinks/condiments etc have arrived after the food.

Third time I've ever been to nando's this time was collection. After ordering a chicken burger meal for £9.40. when I got home found I had a bean veggie burger. Not driving 4 miles again to replace. So just put it in the bin. also staff were arguing while waited half an hour for my late food.

Had a problem with some dry chicken but once the staff were informed they dealt with it promptly and to our satisfaction. Excellent service for that! Décor still looks good despite being an old setting now and the cleanliness was generally high. As usual, the only problem is that the meal is just very expensive chicken!
