OMG -absolutely delicious. Excellent service and amazing food. Really, really, really tasty. Will definitely eat there again

I had previously posted a 1 star comment on google reviews due to some issues with my order. I am happy to now change that as my meal was replaced for free the next time I ordered (I ordered 2 meals this time and got 50% off so they replaced the order that had problems the week before). The food was great and my compliments to the chef (even if I did order a garlic Nan and was given a plain one). The reason my review is not 5/5 is because the manager of this restaurant has an attitude problem, he raised his voice to me on the phone which is not acceptable in my opinion, this was when I explained I was not happy with his offer of a few free popadoms and told him what I would be happy with (basically the meal I paid for a week before replaced - due to problems with that order and previous orders) when I mentioned I have worked in customer service for many years and this is not how to handle this situation I got a response of… oh so you know better than me… In a cheeky way! On top of that, when I arrived at the restaurant he had the cheek to ask me what my experience was in customer service… I found this rude and inappropriate considering I had just drove from larne to give the restaurant the chance to resolve this issue. I did not get his name, I did ask for it but that was not forthcoming either time I requested it. Just to clarify I have been in customer service for over 10 years, 8 of which in management roles, having teams of 15-20 people work for me dealing with complaints about broadband and software issues, maybe I should have brought him my CV? I appreciate the problem was resolved, but this is because I stood my ground - not because it was handled the way it should have been and this managers attitude needs some work. It’s a shame really as I always enjoyed the curries outside of items being missing or the Nan being burnt on occasions, but after that experience and taking a few days to think about how I should share this experience… I doubt we will be going back anytime soon! The girls who work in the place are fantastic, never had a bad thing to say about them and the chefs do a great job with the curries, but being spoke to in an angry way on the phone, then being questioned about my customer service experience was unacceptable.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated with friendly staff and delicious food. Great selection of starters, mains, drinks and desserts. Food is really well presented and very tasty. So lovely to have this in the heart of the town.

We had an absolutely fabulous meal last night. The food was superb and the staff were so lovely! Beautiful decor and ambience. Highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant.

We have been to Namnaste a few times now since their move to new premises, and each time has been fabulous. The food has always been amazing, the staff and chef are very attentive, really friendly and helpful when choosing from the menu . Always a pleasure with each visit and we look forward to our next visit. So if you haven't been yet you are missing out, get yourself down to Namnaste Ballyclare you will be in for a real treat all round.

Tough chicken, hard bread, only thing half good was the sauce. Both Indian restaurants in ballyclare are very poor in comparison to the Indian Ocean and the kyhber in Glengormley. Order is never ready when it’s meant to be. This restaurant was pretty good at the start now it’s very overpriced for bland food. In keeping with the chineses in Ballyclare seems you have to go outside of Ballyclare for a decent takeaway

Got a carry out tonight. Order was wrong. This was the second time now. Had to return order for refund and listen to the cheek from the staff. Wot ever happened to customer is always right! New staff needed with better attitude, the age of the waitress you think she would of learned this by now. Offered to bring the items they had forgotten but not to bring me a full new hot order as by the time it would arrive the rest would be cold. Not impressed and will never be back. I’ve been a chef for 22 years and if i head a member of staff talk to a customer like I was tonight I’d of sacked them on the spot.

Recently moved to the area, we've tried a few different Indians but we've found Namaste to be the best, good value, excellent quality food (especially the meat which can't be said of everyone), and very good value, we've turned up to collect our orders several times to find out we've got a discount on our order/extra starter etc. All small things but help you feel like a valued customer. We've only had collection takeaways so far, but looking forward to coming in for a sit down meal sometime soon.

I always use Namaste when I'm in the area. The food is amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble for the highly skilled chefs. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are very well balanced and the portions are all of a good size. Very highly recommended.

I like this Indian style takeaway/restaurant although it can be a bit hit and miss. I've never eaten in the restaurant but it looks a bit dead with no atmosphere. A bit of piped Indian style background music and dim the lights a little and they could create a much better feel to the restaurant. The food is generally good but I always collect as the deliveries are a disaster. Too many times I've had to wait over an hour ( 2½ was the longest) and something the order isn't even correct so only 3 stats for this one.

Beaut Indian food and great service! Biryani was awesome. :) Nice to have a catch up with a great friend over a curry and a pint or 2!

We went here last night as it had previously been good. I got the mixed starter and the middle of the chicken was raw, I told the staff member who took it away and I told her to tell the chef. My partner went to pay I was told the starter had been taken off the bill but the bill was not itemised. At no stage did I receive an apology. There is another Indian restaurant opened in the area and if that’s how namaste serve food and provide service they will close!

Ballyclare was in long need for a good Indian takeaway until Namaste came along. Food is always on point and staff are great. Only downside is the wait times for food but I'm patient and will let this single point slide.

Hard to knock the food at Namaste but too many times they get orders wrong or you have to wait much longer than told when ordering.

Leigh is a delight and Bobby never fails to deliver perfect food, I have eaten here loads of times and must say that I have never been disappointed, in fact I would go to say that it would be my favourite Indian and that for me is remarkable for I love my indian food (a little too much). Chicken is melting in the mouth tender and the spice mix is just right for me as I usually adjust the heat to very hot, the naan bread has to be thin with plenty of garlic. Nothing is too much bother for any of them. Highly recommended.

We would eat here every few months as we’re quite partial to Indian food. What we get is most enjoyable and well priced. Atmosphere is always very good and service is friendly.

I have had both carry outs and have used the restaurant on numerous occasions and have yet to find any fault. The food is freshly prepared to an extremely high standard full of flavour and the meat either chicken or lamb is so tender. I have sampled a number of dishes and my particular favourite is Chilli chicken tikka masala. The staff are very helpful with description of any dish on the menu and recommendations from the chef. A great dining experience.

Placed an order for collection, completely wrong and phone on engaged tone for 30 min....not happy, have visitors from England ...not impressed

Fabulous food from the Namaste. We have a takeaway when we are in the area and the food is topnotch. It is easily as good as anything I get in North West England. We loved the dansak, saag paneer, balti and jalfrezi dishes we had on Saturday. No 'meal deals' that are so popular in England, so you might not go all out and get starters too. Still, pretty reasonable and very high quality Indian food in Ballyclare.

We ordered a simple takeaway (vegetarian) and really hoped it would be lovely based on all the positive reviews here. The bar area needs a really good clean and the staff need to stop discussing personal issues loudly within hearing of customers. Our order was a few sparse vegetables covered in runny sauce and the chips were very poor. If this is the best Ballyclare can offer for takeaway then that's very disappointing.

Lovely staff, amazing food. Ate at a lot of Pakistani/Indian restaurants and this one for sure one of the best one. Will go again on my next visit and recommend friends

For Indian Lovers its as good as "The KHYBER" if not better and you don't have to drive to Glengormley to get it. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best curry houses you will find for miles in County Antrim. The quality of the food is excellent- no chewy chicken here!The menu is not overly long but has everything to meet your curry needs from mild to hot and spicy. The chicken tikka biryani is one of my favourites if you like good flavour but not too spicy. The garlic chicken is also excellent as are the dansak and balti dishes if you like a little bit more heat. Naan breads are also very good. Definitely recommend!

Always good food, a relaxing atmosphere and friendly helpful staff with an enjoyable local feel. Highly recommend for an evening out.

We had order seconds time from these restaurant chicken and lamb mix that's curry is very testy I loved that's curry med hot nan was very good as well thanks for chef and who recommended that's disease Laxman . He was so help full manager . I will order again .

We first visited this restaurant in December 2015, being a lover or a good korma and this restaurant being relatively new we thought we would give it a try and we wernt disappointed, it's was lovely we have been a couple of times since and got take away also, Indian restaurants can be quite expensive as rice, naan and chips are extra from the price you pay for the main meal but this is the same in all Indian restaurants, I will defo be back and hope to try the early bird £13.95 I believe it is- don't quote me on that lol Monday to Thursday, staff very pleasant and good size of restaurant maybe 12 tables. Talking about it now is making me want to go this week defiantly recommended!!

I've only ever had take-away here and it is super. Food is authentic and plenty of it. Will without a doubt return.

This Indian restaurant has some really good chefs. The food is amazing. The staff are really friendly and helpful. If you like Indian food then you must try it, either for a lovely sit in meal. They do a good early bird menu. Or you can order a carryout, delivered or collect it. Use this at least once a week.

Had a lovely meal. Starters beautifully presented and very good. When we ordered main course, we were asked was it Pilau Rice we wanted. I said yes but then asked if there was a choice, the waitress, who was very helpful throughout, told us what the other Rices were and we both settled for the special rice. The meal was lovely but when we went to pay, the bill was £5.95 more than we expected. When my husband queried this he was told it was the rice we chose. When he said this wasn't mentioned, the waitress said that the (I think manager) was supposed to have told us, she spoke to him but he passed it back to her. After a bit of debating, they refunded us the £5.95, but didn't apologise for what happened and I honestly feel if my husband hadn't stood his ground, we would not have been refunded. This unfortunately spoilt what was a rather good meal.

I have visited Namaste on several occasions and also used the take-away facility many times as well. I have to say that I have never been disappointed. Indeed the food and service have always been excellent, I would not hesitate to recommend this spot to any who enjoys Indian food.

We visited Namaste on a cold, wet, windy night in December. We were given a warm welcome by the staff, and shown to our table where our friends were waiting. The menu is fairly extensive so takes a while to choose, but we were nibbling on poppadums and dips, so weren't in too much of a rush. The food arrived promptly and was very tasty. We were last to leave but didn't feel that we were keeping the staff from closing up, and got a very cheery goodbye. Will definitely be back! Lucky to have this restaurant in Ballyclare.

Finally a decent sit in Indian restaurant in Ballyclare. Have been several times now with family and have also enjoyed takeaways too. Great quality food that never disappoints and good service too.

After the failure of feroz and the break up of spicy affair this place is a very welcome addition in Ballyclare. Staff Locki Leigh & tasha are all very helpful. The chef is excellent and well experienced and the prices are good. Don't be put off that's its above a lively bar. There is a very nice ambience and the food is yummy.

Before reviewing this restaurant, we have had multiple meals, as both diners in the restaurant and as take away customers. We have enjoyed various dishes and sides, so can now fully stand by our review of a fantastic dining experience. The sauces are thick, rich,& full of flavour. The nann breads are fresh, the chicken simply melts, and the portion size is great.( although not for the waist line). Professional Service with a smile seems to be standard with Leigh and the other ladies. When asked if the chef could make a dish not on their menu, ( Im a fan of a Nagga) it was no problem and the boss (lucky) brought in the nagga chillies to make it. ( now a chefs special) Ive recommended Namaste to any of my friends who enjoy a quality indian at affordable prices, and have had great feedback from friends in Carrickfergus, and friends towards Ballymena... Defo worth a try...!! if you like it hot, ask for a Nagga.

I have been to the restaurant and had takeaway and I have to say that the quality of the food for both is excellent and great service throughout.

If you enjoy Indian food you will love Namaste, food delicious and staff very pleasant, just adore going to this restaurant for a great meal, definitely well worth a visit.

We have had a takeaway and sit in meal now and we're not disappointed. Great taste and portion size. My 12 year old boys are also big fans and they were not fans of Indian food before

Haven't been in a while on a bit of a health kick lol but called in this evening and must say food is excellent as usual I actually think it's getting better. Loki is a brilliant host nothing to much bother, and food is on equal par as Belfast. This is a diamond waiting to shine people need to try here I guarantee you won't be disappointed

We have sat in her and got a takeaway recently and both have been lovely. Currently running a deal for 2 courses for 2 and a bottle of wine (or beers) for £32 which just cant be beaten. The chicken tikka starter was the nicest indian dish Ive had in forever. Highly recommended.They even accomadated a 1 year old which a lot of sit in indian restaurants wouldnt do.

Tried after reading other reviews here, Ballyclare really needs a decent Indian Restaurant - and now we have one. Highly recommended.

After reviewing the establishment previously I must say I feel bad now about rating a one star, but I felt at the time it was fair.However this time we actually recieved our food, warm and on time. Prebooked our takeaway and it was ready in half an hour, we tried chicken patia and the tandoori mixed kebab with sheek, lamb and chicken all beautifully cooked, served with basmati rice, garlic naan and a little extra of popadom and dips !!I will not hesitate to call this my new favourite takeaway and will put the first experience down to teething problems !!This establishment has a small restaurant so perhaps our next meal out will be there ?

Last night I phoned in an order for a Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Madras with Rice and Naan bread and really enjoyed it. Everything was cooked perfectly and the Madras had just the right level of hottness. I'll definitely be back again soon.

Went to Namaste for take out a few times always had a lovely meal. Surprised to find a local Indian Restaurant in Ballyclare that has a good quality menu, We went last Thursday and took advantage of the terrific meal offer that was on (£32.95) Which included Starter (which was amazing) Main Course (beautiful) and Desert (which are lovely but I dont eat them) and either a bottle of wine(which was all mine) or Indian beer. Waitress spent time taking our order and talking us through the options which was very helpful, you always feel at ease and at home when you go to this restaurant. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Have been to Namaste twice in the last few weeks and will definitely be back again. The first time was with family and we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal . I had chicken biryani , my husband and daughter chicken madras and my son chicken hariyali . The food was delicious and service pleasant. It even got a thumbs up from my son who has lived 4 years in Birmingham and considers himself an " expert " on Indian food!! Our second visit was equally as good . I had the chicken hariyali which was absolutely delicious....not over hot which suits me . I look forward to trying a few more dishes . Great to have a good restaurant in Ballyclare within walking distance.

Had a lovely meal in Namaste recently. Mixed platter to share followed by chicken tikka masala and chicken bhuna. Obviously freshly cooked and very tasty, as good as any of the well known restaurants in Belfast. Pleasant service and good prices. No frills, just concentrating on good food at a great price.

I had take a way last Friday , all chicken was rubbery , lamb was tough defiantly was not fresh. Rice was hard , all meal was very disappointing . Never back again for take a way . I think this place was closed almost half a dozen time .

I stuck a wee thankyou on the Namaste Facebook page after a lovely family visit on wife's birthday, thought I might now add one here too! Food great, staff super! That's about it! Oh, attitude to children who were not sure of Indian food : excellent! Happy to advise and provide a meal which they would have happily changed if children didn't fancy it. They fancied it rightly though! We'll be back and you should have no doubts about going!

Have tried food on several occasions from Namaste. Different dishes every time. Last night we had come thing new - Chicken Hariyali with Pilau Rice. Nice kick to it but not too much that the flavour is hidden. Also - Aloo Cauli. Really tasty. Service is fantastic. Phone in, drive over at agreed time, collect and home. And we save a fortune on fuel not having to drive to Glengormley or Carrick for Indian Food. Thanks all at Namaste.

We have been to Namaste India Restaurant three times since its opening under new management and I must say I'm very impressed. On my last visit I had the Chicken Tika as my main and it was one of the most delicious meals that I've ever had, the meat was tender and the spices were so tasty. I was also impressed with our complimentary Baileys drink that came with the bill. This is also a family friendly restaurant, when we arrived there were customers kids playing on the floor and this made the experience relaxed and enjoyable. The staff our friendly and attentive and the decor is classic Indian. We will be back.

Been here a couple of times and could not fault in anyway. Service and food is excellent. Me and the wife are looking forward to our next visit. .

Was starving at 10 last night .. The place was empty . Great little find , friendly accommodating staff , and the food was excellent ( I eat a lot of curries and I'm critical ) So I'd recommend it fully

We were eager to try this place since it changes hands and I'm so glad we did. Can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've ever had. We had a lamb curry with naans & a chicken biryani. The service was really quick (we didn't sit in) and it was a good bit cheaper than other Indians I've been to. The flavours were absolutely amazing, will definitely be back again.

We ordered a take-out from Namaste and were delighted to first be proudly told that the wait would be a little longer as everything was cooked from fresh. This is an excellent sign!As we started to eat, the smells, then sights, and then tastes were of genuine ingredients (cardamon seeds, cloves, coriander and lemongrass), something I have never encountered in any other take-away. As an amateur cook who often feels she can do better at home, this was so refreshing. The meat was recognisably fresh, quality chicken (as ordered), again not something I've had the experience of before!The food was as good as any quality restaurant. This will now be our go-to weekend treat. Highly recommended.

Being a Wednesday night it wasn't particularly busy but several people collecting take away orders was a reassuring sign. I cannot fault the service, I cannot fault the friendly staff and I most definitely cannot fault the food which was freshly prepared and beyond delicious. Having only tried Indian cuisine that is microwaveable we took a big risk trying Namaste over our usual Chinese or US diner but it was superb and we most definitely will be back!At a total cost just over £50, Namaste represents great food, great service and great value. I would highly recommend it to anyone!!!

We have visited Namaste a couple of times. First time for a takeaway, second time we visited the restaurant with friends from Australia. The food and service were excellent on both occasions. As Indian restaurants go I found the prices to be very reasonable. Drinks were also a good price and the usual selection of beers (Cobra etc) is available. My only complaint, such as it is, is that the menu is not very modern and a bit limited - I would say it is a typical menu that would have been available in London about 20 years ago - it would have been nice to see some Sea Bass for example. Other than that, I have no complaints and I expect we will probably visit Namaste about once a month.
