Staff member who served us was snorting, sniffing, blowing nose all night , hung around our table .. not impressed! Go home if unwell !!! not a great atmosphere in the place tbh.. wont be returning

Visiting here tonight. The food was okay however, the member of staff serving us was blowing his nose permanently and snorting behind the bar sneezing and wandering around the restaurant. Snorting sounded like he had the worst cold ever, which wasn’t great in a restaurant. Very disappointed.blowing his nose into napkins then serving you disgusting

We are locals and have been here a few times in the past as the most of the food is usually spot on and the service is always great. We would go more but have a couple of niggles about the place. Our first criticism is about the naan breads. They simply don't appear very authentic. They are always pretty flat, not fluffy enough and are cut up. We have spoken to some other people who go to this restaurant and they have commented on this too. The only other criticism we have about this place, is the room can be cold. On our last visit we wore our coats most of the meal and we noticed many other people had their hats and scales on. It was a cold night in November but you don't expect that inside a restaurant. If this place sorted out their naan breads and heating this would be the best indian restaurant!

Always enjoy thr naga, fantastic food, great company and the staff are invested in the diners. They always come and say hello and all is how things are going. This place really has a family friend feeling and great for gluten free!!! Only improvement would be to do gluten free nan bread. Keep up the good work.

We was so disappointed after reading many good reviews about this restaurant. Worst Meat samosas and Butter chicken curry we've ever had. Couldn't eat the samosas, told the waiter (possibly manager) I didn't like them, he didn't seem bothered. We ate all the Butter chicken only because we where hungry! texture and taste was just wrong, not even close to how Buttered Chicken should be. We didn't even bother to complain, just wanted to pay and leave. Was charged for poppadoms tray we didn't ask for, and yes we did eat some of it. Not fussed about the money it's just a business expense for me and the bill was under what I normally spend, It's the principle, anything put on table without being asked for is normally complementary. After paying the bill and hepling the new waiter write a VAT receipt for me, a female worker who wasn't on duty intervened asking questions, note I've already paid the bill and wasn't after a discount, I gave her some feedback about the poppadoms, her response was rude and pathetic, I didn't even tell her about the bad food. I realised I'm talking to a nobody, turned around, said goodbye to the waiter and we left. If you're set on going there, stay away from the Meat samosas and Butter chicken curry, try their other dishes, maybe you'll have a better experience than we did.

We got recommended the restaurant by a guy we were working with today and we weren't disappointed. The pickle tray is the best we have had. I ordered a fish dish and it was first class. I would definitely recommend the restaurant and I will definitely return.

We were a very large booking. So the food did take a while to arrive. We have a baby so had to leave as she was overtired, but they kindly packed our food in to takeaway containers for us. It was all very tasty, and I believe everyone else in our group enjoyed there meal!

Visited on Saturday 6th December (Christmas lights turn on for Frodsham) as a group of 9 people including 6 adults and 3 kids. Table booked for 6.30pm and we went in for the “early bird” £11.99 deal. We were 6 adults and 3 young kids. The kids didn’t order from the early bird menu and just had nann bread and 2 had a starter. There were a few issues with the restaurant - time, food quality and being overcharged. Firstly It took nearly an hour before our order was even taken. Then after the starters had been served we waited 30 minutes for the main. The starters were very nice, but the mains were not great. The sauces all tasted the same - the chicken was rubbery and stringy and was all left uneaten. In fact 1/2 the mains were left untouched because they weren’t very nice. But Our main issue was the bill. It should have come to around £115 maximum. However the bill arrived at £161. We all paid it between us in cash but then I went to the counter and asked for a breakdown so we could see why it was so expensive. The bill was illegible so we couldn’t make out what it said and there is no drinks menu anywhere to see how much our soft drinks cost. After he messed about with a calculator he said quietly “we’ve overcharged you £20” and he gave it me back. But it still seemed too high - so the next morning I worked out exactly what should have been the bill and tried calling and emailing them but I never received a response. We were actually overcharged nearly £45! So they still owe us £25. Will we ever get it back? I doubt it. Will we ever visit again? No.

We usually order from an Indian restaurant closer to our home however, they were not offering delivery last night so we ordered from Naga - we were not disappointed. It was the nicest curry we have had in a long time. We will most definitely be back. Lovely curry, 40 minute delivery time on a Friday night and the bonus of free poppadoms. Highly recommend.

Ate here last Friday with my partner and we both agreed it was our best indian for years. The food was delicious, the staff very attentive and we'll definitely return very soon.

The place and cutlery is clean, food is delicious came out quick and hot, love the atmosphere and the hosts, every table thought so too. Will definitely be coming back!

Had a takeaway from Naga tonight after quite some time (I’m not as local anymore). After a lovely warm welcome back, I can confirm it’s still fantastic. I shall have to make a detour more often.

Went on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Lovely food and service. Would recommend. Marked down on atmosphere only due to going early on a quiet working day.

A bit different to other similar outlets. The dishes are less gloopy. Some left field menu choices if you fancy a change. Good service. Great food.

Really happy with the food here, we've been coming for years and it's always delicious, big portions with lots of choice - I am vegan and the area isn't exactly a area with many vegans so it's nice to have lots of choice. I would say that the naan bread was a little thin and crispy for my liking. Also when you arrive they give you poppadoms and chutney without asking and then charge you - it makes it seem like its included when they just hand it you? surely they should ask. However lovely food and will probably be back soon.

Food was authentic and cooked perfectly, service was excellent and the staff are very attentive I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good Indian food

Substantial portions! Great flavours. Attentive staff. I had the Samba, really fruity and just a little spice. Also onion bhaji (4!), some of which I took home for breakfast. What's not to like?

Ordered an extra curry to take home as football on tomorrow so hought I'd get my tea. The disg was brought to my table but when I got home the chicken had been removed. Been in there a few times but how sly. Not to be trusted

This was honestly the worst Indian takeaway we've ever had. With this being a restaurant you'd think we would have been graced with hot, tasty food! We were so wrong, at just under £70 I feel we were robbed. The food had honestly no taste and for a curry your expect to be able to distinguish between different types. Sadly not. Don't order from here completely let down by these people!

Friendly service and really prompt. The food was great and the portions very generous. I’d definitely recommend. During the pandemic we should be supporting local businesses like Naga as much as possible.

Don't usually have Indian takeaway but tried aga tonight and it was excellent couldn't fault it

My hubby and I got a take out from Naga last night and I have to say that I was so impressed by the fresh herbs and spices. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes very generous. I know many restaurants are struggling at the moment and may rely on people getting takeaways so if you are happy to travel to collect you won't be disappointed. We will be back.

Cant rate Naga or its staff more highly, not only is the food amazing the service is too, we ordered delivery and even though we got the name of a curry wrong he was nice enough to cook and deliver a replacement, beautiful food.

It's always good at the Naga. Food is excellent and plentiful. Service is usually very good, but depending on day and time, it. can be busy.

We went last night for the first time since COVID. Everything was exceptional. Some tables are unused to maintain distancing. Hand sanitiser available. All of the staff had masks and were very friendly as always. All in all we felt very safe. The food was as always of outstanding quality, cooked to perfection and served well. The menu is extensive and offers great value for money. Everything is available for takeaway or delivery as well as dining in. I would highly recommend Naga.

Excellent takeaway from here. Very tasty curries. I particularly enjoyed the murgh tikka keema curry from the signature dishes. It was super tasty! Placing the order on the phone I kept getting confused and the guy on the phone was very patient and kind! Also when we collected the food my son was treated really well even though he's not good.wuth strangers he felt very comfortable. Can't praise the service highly enough for that!

Food wasn't to my taste. Had the meal deal which was cheap but I'd rather pay more for decent food. Onion bhajis was very greasy, and chicken dopiaza was bland and tasteless. Such a shame as I was starving and had waited all day for this meal.

Best Indian in Frodsham with the friendliest staff!

Very disappointed food I ordered wasn't a popular choice and was pretty obvious it was frozen and heated up. It was bland too, just hot no flavour and didn't feel good through the night after it.

Our first visit to Naga restaurant, it definitely won't be the last. The service was excellent, the staff couldn't do enough for us, the food was lovely, couldn't fault anything.

We visited here on Christmas day 6 of us in total the food was excellent the staff attentive and efficient. We had a 4 year old with us who is a fussy eater they heated up her chicken nuggats we brought in with us for her. They also catered for our 14 year old who just wanted chicken without the sauce.We always go for a curry on Christmas day this was the first time at the Naga we will definately return next year.Thank you to the staff who gave up their time on xmas day to make ours an enjoyable one.Merry XmasJackie and Dave Watson

Went with family on Sunday night for the Sunday special. at £11.50 per head. Started with lovely popadams and dips. Then the starters which were very good AND large. Chicken pakoras and onion bhajis especially. Then there was a good choice of main courses which all went down well. My wife chose the chicken biryani which came with a vegetable curry. She is only 5 feet tall and 8 stone wet through so the mountain of rice which came meant the extremely friendly staff offered us a doggy bag. This was consumed and enjoyed today. The last course is tea or coffee. Children under 12 pay £7.50. The chocolates with the drinks went down well with the ladies. Go and enjoy.

Lovely place went for my grandsons 16th birthday .staff very welcoming meals lovely nice pleasant surroundings definetly go again.

Don't expect them to be open on time, even if you make a reservation for 17.30 that they accept. Decided to food shop in Morrison's instead. By the time we drove to leave at 18.30, they were only just opening.

Me and my wife came here on Monday evening. All food was very good, very good service. Owner and staff were really helpful and polite. Excellent all round.

Really nice meal, food was so fresh and delicious. Definitely will go back, the only thing I can say as a minus was that the service was a bit rushed. And due to been such a small place, all tables are so close to each other, you have the feeling that we were all sat together.

We regularly come here for food, the service is second to none and the food is excellent. Prices are very reasonable to.

Always a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Family dinner on the early bird menu - excellent choice of starter and main. Food is always delicious and excellent value for money. The tandoori chicken and lamb chop main are highly recommended as is the chicken tikka masala. Will definitely be eating here again soon.

We ordered a takeaway for 10 of us including 5 kids. The food was excellent and only came to £60, highly recommend the veg thali for 2 it fed 2 adults, 2 kids and had loads left over. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming and there wasn't much of a wait on a Saturday night.

Came here last night with my partner and 2 friends late sat night. The quality of the food is outstanding, so tasty and cooked to perfection . The service was also spot on and we felt very welcome . One of the best Indian meals we’ve had. The quality of the meat was unreal and we had some fish on our starter platter that just melted in your mouth. Perfect!

We have been visiting Naga for years now and every time the quality of the food and service is excellent. Good with kids too (we went early on with an 8 week old). Very friendly staff. Good for gluten free too.

Dined here as part of a group of friends on Saturday evening. Service was first class - friendly, helpful, patient and speedy. The poppadoms were freshened served with 6 delicious accompaniments - including “the green stuff”, which I have never encountered anywhere else and is utterly delicious, worth returning for on its own! The main courses dishes, rices, breads and side dishes were all excellent. A thoroughly impressive night in all respects and we will be back soon, I’m sure.

The food when it arrived was scrumptious hence the 1 star. The service was -5* and here is why. The greeting was less than welcoming by a gentleman in his mid thirties that had the greeting style of Kevin the teenager. Really disappointed with the time it took for our food arrived. More than 1.5 hours after we arrived at 6:40pm and I watched 4 couples who arrived after my table of 6 get their food 30/45 mins before us. The managers apology was condescending and not considerate. He said we had a table do 30 upstairs of solicitors who were very demanding. Again this isn’t my problem. If we hadn’t been with family I would have said this. As a service establishment it is up to you to prioritise orders and food. Only offered us £10 off a meal of £130 as a sorry. Again didn’t add up based on the inconvenience. Won’t be back.

You have a good choice in Frodsham for Indian food. But Naga looks great, and from the moment you walk in the service is fantastic. Really tasty food. The waiters look after you totally without being over bearing. Just lovely, very impressed, highly recommended and we will be back again!

First visit to Naga on Monday 8th April. As a vegetarian and not experienced with Indian cuisine I was a bit worried about what menu choices I would have but I was delighted with the menu and the attention the staff gave to me explaining options and ingredients. They were SO nice and when the food was served it was absolutely delicious. I will be returning here again with family and friends. The staff informed me about a larger room they have upstairs for bigger parties/events so will bear this in mind for future work events. Lovely spot in Frodsham, parking available close-by. Definitely a ten out of ten experience for me.

Naga is the best Indian in Frodsham, if you want a takeout there's no where else in Frodsham that makes a curry better.

Four of us ate here on a Monday night. Restaurant wasn’t busy but the food and service was very good and only a 10 minute taxi from the Holiday Inn Runcorn which is over priced in my opinion.

Varied menu which was good as there were 8 of us. The feast was a popular choice however. Prompt service, tasty food and I would go again. Lights too bright upstairs though.

Another excellent meal here. Food is always delicious and plenty of it. The evening buffet deal is excellent value. The staff can’t do enough for their customers - they are the restaurants greatest asset. Love having a laugh and a joke with them!

Worst Indian I've EVER been to, we ordered three different main dishes and all of them were disappointing. Can tell it's not a proper Indian and their prices are high, don't waste your money and go somewhere else!!

Never had such an awful takeaway. We had it last night. Feeling liked being robbed on the New Year's Eve I have to put the review on today, the New Year day 2019. One Star is still too good for the food.
