Nadia Balti in Cardiff

Have used the Nadia Balti for my Indian food kick for many years always been good and delivered on time as expected

Food was very salty and no taste very disappointed.

2nd time ordering and it didn't disappoint once again. We had the chicken tikka masala, chips, onion bahji, naan breads and pineapple fritters. The pinapple fritters were deffo a win and the onion bahjis are the best around. Delivery was 20mins late but we weren't bothered we always expect a 30min delay with just eat. The delivery guy is lovely and remembered us from last time. Thanks will be ordering again soon.

Very fresh and on time although the mint sauce that I thought was ment to cool and refresh the palette was way to hot and spicy, very nice meal though and I would order from them again

Always greeted politely on the phone, food hot and delicious, lovely closed containers, free poppodoms and dip a bonus if we have a curry we always go to this place reasonable priced food quick delivery fresh and hot.

First time ordering from here, really impressed! They called to offer me an alternative drink option that had had sold out so great communication, food was really tasty and hot

Curry container was split on collection and it spilled over my chips. Unfortunately wasn’t edible

Came late, food didn't take that nice, very very greasy was dropping bag was soaked and the delivery man didn't have change so I actually ended up paying more for my order, not happy.

Really nice curries, polite and courteous service they even threw in a few papadoms for free. Recommended.

The food was cold no flavour to it and the onion bhajis were undercooked not happy at all with the food at all to be honest didn't even eat it.

Food normally really good. This time 1hr 15min late AND it was cold. Had to heat it up in the microwave. Not acceptable at all

Just had my food which was lovely only thing was we ordered a kemma nam and we didn't get it.

Wasn't the right food, had 2 rices and 2 different curries compared to the ones I wanted, phoned the restaurant and they said I ordered it when on my confirmation order there was proof it was wrong. Dead on sure and wanted me to pay for a new order

Food was delivered but the two nan breads weren’t in the bag so I rang the restaurant and they said they’d be delivered but only one was

Superb meal, didn't like the mint yogurt much but everything else was hot and tasty. Good value for money.

Disappointed because the the tandoori and nan bread was cold. I did not order curry sauce but this was hot?!.

Amazing service in the midst of the crisis

Order was confirmed to be delivered by 9.15pm. Phoned to ask where delivery was at 9.30 and told it is on way and be with me “any moment now”. 9.50pm messaged Just Eat. Restaurant replied 10 mins later saying it’s on its way. Food eventually arrived at 10.20pm. We are only 6-8 mins from restaurant !!! Not received an apology or offer in kind for the problem.

Food is always cooked to a high standard & is so flavoursome, best thing is that the food is not at all oily

Ordered food at 7pm told be delivered by 7:50 never showed up, so rang restaurant they said it was on its way 20 minutes later still hadn't arrived rang back and again told its on its way by a disgruntled worker. Food arrived at 8:55 it was freezing and awful, massive waste of money will never get from here again used to be one of my favourites to get Indian from but gone downhill lately.

I ordered food for 8:10 because i wanted it for when my husband got home from work, i had an email of just eat to say it would be here at 8:20 which was fine but then it arrived at 7:30. So we had cold indian when my husband got home from work.

the food was cold full of oil and to much haldi powder really bad so not happy in the bin it went

Ordered at 5.30pm, said would arrive at 6.45, actually arrived at 7.50!! Then when I went to unpack the food, discovered the order was missing some main meals, called the restaurant and told I would have to wait another half an hour or have it free next time! I had paid over £40 this time, Absolutely disgusting service, will never order from them again, and will be telling people not to use this take away!

Absolutely disgusting. Chicken curry was thick and sweet like a Korma. Rice was cheap and chicken tikka starter was hard. Went in the bin. Never order again.

The delivery was 3 hours late and not all items were delivered. I was unable to get hold of them when I rang to see where my order was. Very poor service will not be ordering again.

lots of competition around in canton but the nadia wins hands down .. they dont skimp on the meat ..and deliver on time

We regularly order food from here and we are never disappointed. The owner is the chef and he is very good. Very polite on the telephone Fast delivery The shami kebab starter are always cooked perfectly And the chicken madras is just right not swimming in oil I always ask for my barn bread well cooked and they get it spot on every time.

Ordered a large family meal over the telephone. Nice and polite service with speedy delivery considering the size of the order. Will definitely use Nadia Balti again.

Ordered as usual through just eat and left a note to the restaurant saying.PLEASE ensure that the tandoori chicken is cooked from FRESH. After a near 2hr delivery wait the chicken turned out just as I suspected DRY. REHEATED. AND TOTALLY UNEDABLE.. this happens to regularly. So NO more..

The most horrendous experience I have ever had with a restaurant. Our food took 2.5 hours to arrive and we ordered at 5:20pm on a Thursday night - hardly prime time!! I called four times to see where our food was, each time being told the driver was on his way, the third time I asked for a call back to tell me where the driver was and didn't receive one. When I called again, I asked to speak to the manager who raised his voice at me, and refused to give me discount or a refund on our food, and told me for the fourth time in the last hour that our food was on it's way. Very disappointed by the way I have been treated as a customer. I would have refused to hand money over for this appalling service but unfortunately we had to pay up front with Just Eat! Will NEVER be ordering from here again. Horrendous.

The medium curry and keema rice was nice. However, the chicken tikka starter was nasty. The chicken was rock hard and dry, it went in the bin. it didn't come with the extra mint sauce. I wouldn't order a starter from here again.

Very good food, on time and hot!

fantastic food. It arrived early and was piping hot. the food was full of flavour and meat delicious. Only criticisms children had a tikka masala and complained it was too spicy. It did have a little heat but in my mind lovely.

We always use the Nadia balti and always get a good hot spicy meal. Very short wait from moment of order to delivery. Only criticism is that the Bombay potatoes have started to arrive very hard.

Used this place many time but this has been the worst take away for a while ordered the lamb curries and side dishes the meat was like rubber and no flavour what has happened to this place and this meal was on a Thursday 8 pm sort the cook out or lose customers

The food was delivered well before the estimated time. The food was delicious though some of the meals were a little spicy - even the butter chicken had a little kick to it. The nan was the best I've had in a while

Load of rubbish! Sent me Plain rice instead of pilau rice and it was cold, no chutney & sent the wrong naan bread would never eat from here again!!!

Quick and tasty take away, food could have been warmer but a good load of meat.

Ordered from nadia Balti quite a few times never had a bad meal but this time is was terrible the chips looked like they had been there a while and reheated and the mint sauce didn't taste right either

Best curry in Cardiff plenty of meat/chicken very tasty fresh hot and nice delivery driver will highly recommend.

Food quality was excellent but I ordered and paid for 2 Keema Naan breads and only 1 was delivered. Order arrived later than advised.

We have not received our food: Driver apparently broke down . No refund. No food was ever delivered. Lost full amount of money spent.

Food was 90 minutes late. All the curry sauces had leaked out of the containers into the bag and tasted watered-down, the poppadoms were crushed and the chips had clearly been re-heated and overcooked (Inedible). Would not recommend.

I have ordered from this place for years and it has always been my favourite Indian takeaway, however this evening I ordered a korma sauce and they was a piece of chicken in it. As a vegetarian I was mortified and called them and all they said was next time they will give me a free sauce. Not impressed and won't be ordering again!!

Half an hour late food was warm they forgot the sauce so had to wait another twenty minutes by then the food was Cold they didn't apologies once for being late or forgetting the sauce. Also brought a bottle of coke and they gave me a can of coke with I didn't realise till to late so all in all quite disappointed won't be ordering from here for a while

Late delivery, food cold and broke a front tooth biting on a PEBBLE found in the meal!! Disgusting!
