Great authentic Thai Food reasonably priced. Good service, hot, fresh food never disappoints and reminds me of the restaurants in Thailand

Truly authentic Thai. Loved several dishes. Even the straight forward coconut rice and mango sticky were fluffy and. Just great to come here by myself or with a few friends.

Fab place, the food is always the best. I like the decor, it reminds me of the rainforest cafe and I dropped my wallet but the staff ran to give it back which was nice

We visited this restaurant during a weekend trip from Glasgow. The food was authentic and so tasty. It was also very good value for money. We will definitely visit again the next time we are down in Leeds.

Visiting Leeds for the day and found this lovely small and friendly Thai restaurant. Gorgeous food and excellent service.

It was conveniently located for us right next to the Ibis Styles where we were staying. Service was quick and the food was very good and very spicy.

Come here often and it’s one of my favourite restaurants in Leeds! Chicken satay skewers, spring rolls, pork skewers, pad Thai, always delicious. Staff friendly and attentive.

Quick lunch stop which always serves tasting Thai food. We enjoyed a couple of starters, mussaman curey and Bangkok pad Thai. Quick service and all round good food.

Friendly staff, great food. What else can you say? as I’m somebody who is visually impaired, they seemed understanding and accommodating and kept coming over to ask if our meal was fine, which it was, it was great.

Visited this week and much has changed since my last visit. Firstly a scruffy makeshift booth for staff has been erected just inside the doorway making it difficult to enter and exit the restaurant. I'm slim and had difficulty squeezing past with my shopping bags. An English waitress has been hired so be prepared to be ejected from the building the moment you finish your meal. Literally the very second I put my fork down, she took my plates away and immediately brought the bill over and asked me if I was paying cash or card. There was less than two minutes between me finishing my meal and her putting a bill in front of me and holding her hand out to be paid. I found this rude and she was abrupt. I'd been in the restaurant less than 25 mins, so was not exactly taking my time and still had most of my drink left. I felt obliged to rush my drink and leave. The restaurant was not busy so why rush customers. It actually made dining alone even worse than usual! As usual the tofu looked like the inside of old sofa cushions (overcooked and squashed) and hardly any vegetables in the Thai curry. I won't be returning and will go to Zaap instead where the food is fresher, more fragrant and the atmosphere much more relaxed.

Visit whilst having a weekend in Leeds, the reviews looked good, so queued about 30 mins. whilst food may look nice, the quality of the ingredients is very poor, both the starters and main courses, left half of one dish, when asked if all was ok, said ok, not bad, not good, didn’t bother to ask any further, not interested, keen to move the next customers in. Both main dishes tasted like the same, similar sauce, seems to be frozen veg. Very poor quality for Thai, it’s usually fresh, healthy, flavoursome. Wouldn’t return or recommend.

Nothing was too much trouble when I placed a very large order for delivery during lock down. The food was hot and delicious as always and complimentary beers and prawn crackers from the manager. Would definitely recommend.

Honestly, the best resturant Thai place in Leeds! I tried many thai places and I happen to always come back to this one.I tried My thai for the 1st time at one of their branches in Bradford. The food did not take long and all of it was freshly cooked! The food was so delicious and again ONE meal fed 2 people and made us full!Leeds- I've dined in and takeaway their food countless times because it's THAT GOOD and every dish is delcious and FRESHLY COOKED! The chicken RED CURRY is my favouritte as well as their Pad Thai. The water is free which is a bonus!When you dine in the atmosphere feels so friendly and aesthetic! Great for Instagram photos! You're greeted with fairly lights and authetic Thai music and you're sure enough to feel hungry as you can smell and hear fresh food being cooked at the open kitchen. The price is not bad as they give you ALOT for what you pay for espcially dine in!The service may take away because their super busy but the latest time I have to wait for pickup takeway was 20 mins. The staff is super friendly as well which creates a great experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restruant! I promise you the food will not let you down. I'm craving My Thai right now to be honest aha!:))

Went here to have tea and it didn't disappoint. The food was very authentic and the flavours out of this world.Had the spring roll filled by tofu in a black bean and ginger sauce.Beautifully spiced and my sons curry was again really tasty.

Good choice of food. Quick and friendly service. Had dumplings, prawn crackers, crispy chicken and rice and chicken noodles. Every dish was delicious 😋 Definitely recommend and will be back again.

Great service despite 8 of us turning up at lunch time. Seated immediately, very friendly staff and provided with menus. What we ordered was delivered quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals very much. Served steaming hot, each dish was full of flavour and devoured with relish. A quick turnaround required a visit here. Short wait for a place ( you can’t book) and you share space with others. Nice social atmosphere.

Just around the corner from the Leeds Arena, and what a lucky find. Generous portions of wonderful, tasty food. 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 large beers for £35 which is not bad. I will definitely go again if we're going to another gig.

Small restaurant but we were seated quite quickly. Lots of options to choose from and both chopsticks and ordinary cutlery are provided Good sized portions at a very reasonable price

The food was good, and the portions were more than an average one. Pleasant atmosphere and good service. The only thing I did not like was the fact that it was a bit crowed and hence very noisy, as it is a small place.

I hadn't tried here for dinner before but I was impressed. Tasty food served fast. I had the green thai curry with rice, and my partner had the pad thai. We enjoyed a cold beer while the food was brought, we were tucking into our food after about 10 minutes of arriving. Always a good sign when it's busy at 5.30pm. Visité en un momento muy ocupado un sábado y el lugar estaba abarrotado. La comida era buena, pero todo el lugar se sentía como meterlos y sacarlos lo más rápido posible. Definitivamente no es un lugar para quedarse con una buena comida. Los baños también dejaban mucho que desear. No volveré corriendo y definitivamente no un sábado.

Pretty close to what you can buy in Bangkok, this is a good go to place for Thai in central Leeds. Have tried most of the items on the menu and have found them all pretty good. Favourites are Tofu tod (starter), Thai fish cakes (starter), Thai Salad (spicy), Pad Thai, Mussaman Curry etc. Service is quick and efficient. Nice vibe and atmosphere, quite small inside. Normally quite busy but turns over pretty fast and have never had to wait more than about 15 minutes. Parking is available in the Merrion centre or St Johns multi storey.

Tried to get into the one at Old Steps, they were full. Went to this location. Good food, it’s not a place for lounging or relaxing. In and out! But food was very good.

Rainy day at work so opted for a take away. Tasted just as good as when we have eaten in. I suspect we will now be regulars.

I have been in all the Thai Restaurants in Leeds and My Thai is the quality-price place you are looking for. Even for deliveries and changes they make it really easy, to order, is always really quick...! Amazing place I would recommend it 100% !

Always came to My Thai and have done since it opened however the last 3 times we have visited the food is less authentic and no where near as spicy as it used to be. Not authentic anymore and seems they have changed the recipes to be more mainstream. Shame, Zaap is now better for authentic Thai food in Leeds.

My boyfriend and I order from here regularly and it’s the perfect Sunday hangover cure Couldn’t recommend the yellow curry with duck enough !! It’s divine

Visited My Thai for the first time in May and it won't be the last. The restaurant is really authentic - the decor, the layout and the food. The food was amazing - all 3 of us really enjoyed our meal (although mine was the best ). The portion sizes are excellent, you certainly won't leave hungry. They have a great selection of drinks too. If you haven't tried this restaurant yet, I'd highly recommend it. The only problem is picking just one option off the menu, so many delicious sounding dishes.

Always get a great Thai curry here but tofu over fried. Not the best, not the worst. Ordered jasmine tea, passed to me in a mug, it was not boiling water. Plastic containers with toilet rolls on the tables. Prices very reasonable, staff lovely, furniture leaves a lot to be desired. Quite a cramped restaurant. Only really bad thing is when you go downstairs to the toilet its quite grotty. I think theres only 1 toilet, not sure. Not a nice building but you get what you pay for.

Prior to visiting this restaurant (which I now have multiple times!), Thai food had never been my 'go to' cuisine - it very much is now. My first visit was when the restaurant was smaller and it has now expanded, still hosting a lovely intimate setting with unique decor. The portion sizes are very big considering the low price point, and there is certainly no compromise in flavour. I am a huge fan of the pad thai and the green curry, and the insanely cheap starters are not one to miss - the chicken satay is some of the best I've ever tasted.

On a visit to a concert at Leeds arena we wanted to eat before the show. After asking someone in the car park who looked local they pointed us in the direction of my Thai, so glad we went . We were the first ones in there but glad we got a window table for 4 even though we were only two. Within 15 minutes the place was full and a nice atmosphere, the extra space on the table was filled by numerous side dishes that were all delicious, we didn’t really know what to have but tried different things, so maybe not your typical dinner for two but with a bottle of wine and other drinks our bill was only £50 which made us think we will return, maybe stay at the hotel next door, so see you again guys soon, your place is ace and food delicious.10/10

Very dissapointed . Been visit my thai merion centre on Saturday lunch.I had big argument with apparently "manager" of the venue. I ordered sea food with greavy and noodles which arrived very poor quality was tasteless and the dish was not good. I asked the table host if is possible replacment. They said I ordered it and I they cant offer me anything else, they are too busy.I decided that I dont want to eat that and they took it away. On the way out,my friend pay for her dish and I wanted to pay for spring rolls and drink which I have but the "manager" said I need to pay for dish which I didnt eat as well.I was trying to explain him why I didnt like it, and how he can make me to pay for something which I didnt have but he was very rude and doesnt want to let me to talk. I am very regular guest and I been eating here so many times . That was first time when I was dissapointed . But the attitude of the manager just shocked me . Thats mean u cant complaint in this place coz they will treat u in very bad way. By the way, Im in 6 months pregnant, I was hungry, without offer anything else to eat and he want me to pay for nothing and he gave me a lot of stress. I cant belive how they can teat anyone like that, specially pregnant lady. I was very calm and tried to exolain myself in nice way.finally he start shouting on me to dont pay, leave his restaurant and never come back. I told him I want to pay for things which I have but he didnt let me and just "kick" me out when the place was full of people. This place dont care about the people, usually customers, thay cant deal with the complaints.they become very nervous angry and rude since I said first word about the dish until they just baned me. First time in my life someone treat me like that, Im very dissapointed.

Feels a bit unfair to add this, as I have had a generally good experience at My Thai on Wade Lane, but went to the Sovereign Street one or whatnot near call lane today and tried the 55 with Chicken. Found the chicken generally unpleasant, though the sauce was delightful. Chicken was rubbery and dry for reasons I believe is stale chicken or chicken that's been boiled (and might I add too long) then fried. Didn't relay it for refund and didn't get one, just wanted them to know their usual process hadn't worked today! Take a walk up to momma thai for some crispy chicken done well, dear restaurateur..so you know what I mean.

Just perfect thaifood, sorry they did not have cold Singha, and the music was quite loud. Except for that....just perfect, and very nice prices !

I've had takeaway a few times from My Thai but this time when in Leeds I decided to go sit in. It wasn't too busy and we were seated quicky. We ordered drinks which were brought straight away and then we were asked for our order, which was really quick but I knew what I wanted in advance anyway. We ordered a couple of starters each and the peanut sauce on the chicken satay was soo good. The sweet chilli dipping sauce with the starters has a great kick to. We ordered a green curry which was spicier than expected but was great and a tuk tuk fried rice which was a huge portion but again really good. My only gripe was when still eating our starter our mains were brought to the table and the tables are quite small so it was a bit of a squeeze. The portion sizes are great though, you definitely get your monenies worth. Will definitely be back.

This is one of my fav places to eat - just so tasty. Very large portions too, drinks expensive though but wow the food is just fabulous. Good choice of dishes and a number of starters. Casual dining but top notch flavours excellent 💕💕💕

Leeds has a wealth of Thai restaurants now and I've visited most, this was the highest rated so thought we'd give it a try.

We order my thai to our office and it always arrives hot and fresh. Love the dumplings as a starter and generous portion of pad thai. For £7.50 for a main at lunch is very reasonable. Consistently tasty food!

Went to My Thai @York Place in Leeds for lunch with colleagues. I love Thai food a lot. However, straight away stomach upset and I think it was because of lack of hygiene somewhere. I am not allergic to anything as I have been eating Thai Food for YEARS. When I reported it to the restaurant, the person who replied to me said "You must be allergic to something." Felt like he knows about me more than me.

I wanted to try somewhere new to grab some dinner, in which my friend suggested My Thai. The authenticity of the place was astounding, we were greeted by lovely, attentive staff that were super friendly and happy to help. Water was served in genuine silver water bowls, adding to the Thai theme of the place. The menu had numerous choices, at exceptionally reasonable pricing. I decided to try the prawn crackers as a side dish, and have the chongking chow mein with crispy chicken which was absolutely gorgeous!

This is a cute little restaurant that serves delicious Thai food and is very reasonably priced, loved it.

Their logo is, “As Thai As Possible”, and I have to say, authentic Thai Street food was delivered fresh, fast and with a price tag that represented very good value for money which is rare in a metropolitan city like Leeds!

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Leeds until I rang to check if my fiance could be accommodated there due to an allergy. I was told by the incredibly rude and abrasive staff member on the phone that if I brought someone with an allergy to the restaurant they would refuse us service and ask us to leave. When I questioned this, I was told that the chefs do not have the time to cook something allergy-free for him and it would be a waste of their time. DO NOT visit this restaurant if you have any kind of allergy, no matter how common. If this is the way they want to treat their customers, they do not deserve the custom. It was a huge disappointment to us and completely ruined what would have been a lovely birthday lunch.

The best Thai food on earth is served from tuktuks or kiosks at the roadside in Thailand. Thai restaurants who try to move upmarket in the UK are missing the point.
