My Favourite Cafe in Islington

Visited here today and had a great breakfast! Was so happy to find they did Turkish coffee!!! Amazing value for money and the service and staff were incredible!! Will definitely be back!

I had a good Terrible time in there today. I waited 45 minutes for my food, then when my breakfast arrived.. I had to wait for the toast. I challenged the waitress about it, then the husband accused me of shouting at his wife. There was a family in there with a dog that barked all the time. It wasn’t the dog barking that bothered me, but the owners gob telling it constantly to shut up. Seriously guys, you’d get better hospitality and cheaper meal at the Angel. I’m in process of complaining to council.

Terrible breakfast cheap sausages when I say cheap I’m talking nasty roadkill taste what was offputting was one of the staff members behind the counter would not stop picking his nose and inspecting it then proceeded to make someone a sandwich The tea tasted like been brewing for a month if you have something against your tastebuds then go here but I would never go there again

Nice little cafe on Essex road for breakfast. Two woman staff were friendly and helpful. The food was just right and reasonable price. Was a little slow but not too bad. Would use again next time in this area.

Plek waar je snel kunt eten voor ontbijt of lunch. Hoewel er niet veel aan het eten op te merken valt, is het ook niet slecht. Prima om even snel te zitten maar er zijn betere plekken in de omgeving.

I was recommended this cafe in the area; just had a tea and a breakfast baguette which was very nice and good value. The staff are friendly and it felt warm, welcoming and clean unlike some cafes you'll visit in London. Highly recommended if you're looking for a good value, a tasty breakfast and a tea. :)

Don't go made us sit about for 20 min for them to take my order and when it came it was the worst breakfast I have ever had plz don't go

Went for a morning brunch. Its a small place but decent clean and cheap to reasonable price for a greasy spoon. Would go again.
