Nice selection of wine. Very friendly front of house manager but on other hand the food is not a bad but anythink special and I think that the food in the one Michelin star restaurant have to be better. The kitchen is very messy and seems not to be organize. That's maybe because They have new Head chef George Ormond and his past experience is seems not to be right for Head chef at 1 Michelin star restaurant. He seems a bit inexperienced and messy with his work. Maybe They will need to try to find another one with more previous experience. The cost off food is to much for what you are getting and you can find many places with better price for food.

The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. The food of courses was excellent as were the knowledgeable friendly staff. Absolutely perfect!

Really underwhelming and so overrated expensive for what it was. I was so excited to go and had high expectations with the notable chef and m.star. Restaurant was a bit like a fancy Mayfair office lacked atmosphere . Staff almost running past tables it lack grace and demeanour for a m.star establishment. Lots of chat around the waiter station was like a bus stop. No attentive service to drinks and the speed of meal service was very slow. A table opposite was even waving water glasses at a passing running waitress but alas ignored. Food was bland. I was dying to try every course but I wish I’d just had a main and left. Absolutely would not go.

I must admit I was excited to try here. My sister had spoken highly of it. Nice design and lay out. Wonderful staff, who are caring and attentive. I had the pasta with pork ragu. Was a bit to al dente and very salty. The main pork dish was tasty and cooked well. The pistachio tart was dry and needed a warm custard. I don't think the apple Sorbet went well. The wine choice was perfect for the dishes. Living with a trained chef who is Italain, I've developed my palate. I'm sorry to say no lasting impression.

We were lucky enough to celebrate a very special anniversary at Murano last weekend. The food was wonderful, beautifully presented, incredibly well balanced and flavourful, but it was the warmth and welcome from each and every one of the team which made the evening both relaxing and a truly magical and memorable experience for us both. A special warm thankyou to the General Manager Rebecca, who helped with great advice on menu choices and went out of her way to ensure that we were really well looked after. A very special place, which we hope to return to for lunch before too long. Thankyou Rebecca!

The service staff made the experience extra special and carefully catered to my mom’s pescatarian needs. The food was absolutely delicious and the lemon tart was extraordinary! Having been to many Italian restaurants in London, Murano was the best by a margin. The menu is simple yet flexible, and all dishes were superb. The cod was a highlight.

We booked for New Year’s Eve and were very impressed with the food and atmosphere of the restaurant. The choice of 2 for each course meant there was always something we liked! Although we didn’t go for the Wine Pairing, we did speak to the young sommelier who helped out with wine selection from the good selection of wines by the glass. Our only very slight criticism of the food was my husband said his beef was a little tough and I found the duck to be a little under done for my personal taste. Loved the pistachio soufflé by the way! Overall an excellent and memorable experience and we’d love to return.

We visited on New Year’s Day as a family and found it to be an immaculate restaurant with incredibly attentive and very knowledgable staff. Food and drink were absolutely amazing quality, beautifully cooked. I have to say, the Artichoke risotto had an element of acidity that was really quite challenging and definitely a little much for children.

Find dining setup. Food was delicious and well done. Sauce was added at the table for each dish before being described. Everything was a hit. The lunch menu is more affordable but still high quality. The Murano glass motif can be spotted here and there which is a nice touch

Today 01.01.24, the restaurant has only special menu with two options of main dish only duck and non-fresh fish. All meals were with sauces, and all sauces tasted very sour and already added inside the meal, even risotto with truffles was very sour. So, all meals were tasted very sour for me and my husband. We were waiting our food an hour or even more and restaurant was not too busy, the portions were too small but they brought two baskets of good tasted bread, so we eat mostly the bread in our lunch. The best was an apple tart with ice cream and a coffee. Charity also was included in our bill and nobody ask us do we want to pay charity or no and charity for who?

Lovely setting, staff and great food

Absolutely wonderful restaurant in Mayfair close to Shepherd Market. There is a prix fixe lunch or à la carte with the option of 2,3,4+ courses. There are several options each for starter, fish, meat and pasta, in my experience all exceptional making it pretty difficult to choose although I do recommend having the delicious pasta (agnolotti is my particular favourite). The sommelier will happily recommend wine to your price range. Several years ago we were introduced to Vermentino and this time around had a, slightly unusual, Vermentino Nero; perfect for our food choices. All in all I can't recommend Murano highly enough and will definitely return (again and again).

Each dish is perfectly thought out and prepared. My vegan daughter couldn't remember ever having such a good meal. Definitely my favourite restaurant in a city with many outstanding restaurants.

Food was excellent again! The two fish dishes were cooked perfectly. The flavors of every dish were bold yet blended seamlessly. Everything tastes novel and fresh. Especially loved the use of nuts in several dishes which added crunch, depth and protein. The service was excellent minus the first course not being cleared before 2nd course was served. Only complaint would be the plum soufflé - which seems to be cooked prior to service and later warmed for service - parts of the interior were cold while other parts hot. I wouldn’t order it again. Lemon tart was wonderful. The new interior design is absolutely beautiful, sophisticated and comfortable.

This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. Murano offers a choice of 3-6 courses and you can choose your dishes from the various sections of the menu. My husband, with his experience of Michelin star portions, decided we should have 5 courses and we ordered accordingly. With hindsight I would have been quite satisfied with just 3 due to the generous portions. I started with the smoked ricotta tartlet which was very good although would have been better if it had been warm rather than served cold, then the risotto which was very tasty, followed by the cod and then the perfectly cooked venison. All very good, although I couldn't manage a dessert. The service was efficient and the sommelier very helpful and knowledgeable about the wine list. I also noticed they were very accommodating with a couple who had a small, well-behaved child with them. Will certainly go again when we next visit London.

A very convenient experience at a starred restaurant. No dress code during lunch, as travellers we don’t need to feel embarrassed because of our sneakers. Food has been recognized for over a decade by Michelin, the diversity of the service team is also a big “bravo” and huge solidarity w/the lady chef. 2-course lunch plus the sides; £80. Thank you, Chef and the team. It was a memorable experience!

I had a wonderful afternoon at Murano. Our reservation was for 8; however, 9 guests showed up. The staff at Murano were unbelievably accommodating, for which I was incredibly grateful. The service was fantastic and very attentive without being overbearing. The lunch we had was also evenly spaced out with good breaks between courses. As expected, the food was sublime - the bread selection and ox cheek were real highlights. Thank you so much for such a lovely afternoon

I have long wanted to visit Murano. The opportunity to visit with a couple of friends recently arose. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by very friendly staff. Throughout our lunch, the service was exceptional. The restaurant went through a 3 week refurbishment between August and September. That work has transformed it into a wonderfully warm and comfortable place to dine with friends, colleagues and family. All the dishes showcased perfectly the food of Angela Hartnett, new head chef George Ormond and their team in the kitchen. Thank you to all at Murano for making our lunch a memorable occasion.

Almost certainly the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. Luxury, but not at all snooty, possibly the friendliest and most attentive staff I've ever encountered (and they're all genuine people too), and the food, gosh the food is so incredible.

Wow, wow, wow. What an incredible start to the week. I was sceptical at first about going to this establishment as I've never been one for the overly fancy, snobbish staff & just the general stereotype of a Michelin star restaurant. Scepticism quickly transformed to admiration as this may be one of the most incredible restuarants I have ever stepped foot in. Before we get to the food, I must mount praise onto the staff. Snobbish they were absolutely not, but instead incredibly friendly, kind and some even had a sense of humour which is lost in fine dining. As for the food (ahh the food...), it was nothing short of outstanding. I had the risotto whilst my partner had the ox cheek. We both looked at each other with approval after our first bite and it only got better from there. As it was my partners birthday, they brought out a delightfully decorated cupcake which she thoroughly enjoyed and to top it off, we had the apple tart which was simply to die for. All in all, bravo Angela Hartnett. You should be proud of this establishment as we shall most certainly be present in the not too distant future to sample even more of your fine cuisine. Thank you.

My wife and I visited Murano with our friends and again we thoroughly enjoyed our experience, we all had 6 courses which were perfectly timed and accompanied with beautifully selected wines. A fabulous evening and one of the best Michelin starred restaurants in London. Food, ambience all perfect.

Just amazing. Everything was top 10. When you enter, you're welcomed warmly. When you're seated, you feel home immediately. True professionalism. Food is excellent, so is the wine / drink selection. So friendly staff that you just wonder if they knew you in advance... Book a table and enjoy.

First class. Ok let’s get its out of the way straight away. It is going to cost you a good deal! But it is a Michelin starred restaurant with a celebrity chef. Food sublime, service well I’ll say excellent because they got it wrong. Sat down and ordered cocktails. Waiter brought me yes the after a while he came back to take our order. We said well we really would like our drinks while we look at the menus and before we order. Panic off he goes. Moments later drinks arrive full of apologies and without suggestion or prompt there will be no charge for drinks. Service errors are a fact of life, real service is now you deal with them. Here 10 out of 10.

I have always wanted to dine here and I was not disappointed. The restaurant has recently been renovated and feels very calming and restful. We were warmly welcomed by Rebecca and special thanks to the young junior sommelier who selected some wonderful wines for us. The food and the presentation were wonderful. We had a most delightful evening and I am looking forward to returning.

A refined dining experience with impeccably solitcitous service. Small but beautiful plates from a kitchen dedicated to excellence in every dish, standouts include the tart and the smoked potato agnolotti. Gorgeous cocktails, including the option of ordering off menu. Only the lemon tart isn't quite the zingy delight I remember from my first visit, but there are other options for dessert fiends.

Stopped for lunch before going to the Hyde park concert, and what a lucky choice. Everything was seasonal and the food was perfect. Dinning room was good with plenty of spaces. Will be my new go to when in London.

We had Saturday lunch here with my son and daughter-in-law. My wife is vegetarian and has a couple of food allergies - she was really well looked after. The food was very good as was the service. What made it special were the staff who were very professional and at the same time made us really feel at home. I would thoroughly recommend Murano.

We booked a dinner celebrating our anniversary day. The meal was disappointed from Michelin experience. The most disappointed thing they forgot and didn’t serve us any basic anniversary plates, ruined our night and 2023 anniversary celebration. Definitely not worth the price

Modern unstuffy environment, graceful welcome and leading to table by charming restaurant team. Delightful seasonal menu, beautifully cooked and presented dishes, each of which was succulent blend of colours, textures and flavours. Selecting from the extensive wine list was an exotic and rewarding experience.

Best experience I have ever had!! Jarra was the perfect waiter! She was very attentive and honest about what she liked and what she didn’t like so much, although I had her full attention when she was talking to me. She would still check on the other tables to make sure they where also ok. Piero; a master class chef, not only he cooks the best plates I have eat, he could take a feedback from me (and how am I to tell him how to cook?) and explain his reason. I do agree with him btw. Thank you team Murano, for making such a experience possiable

Wow! What can I say except that this visit was amazing. We had a lovely welcome on arrival and that set the tone for the whole evening. Service was excellent, not too quick and not too slow and what was nice was each member of staff was equipped to answer any questions. Bonus point for training! Anything we asked was answered and even if it was a silly question to them they never made us feel stupid for asking. The food was just sublime. Every dish was like a food explosion of flavours. We had the best evening and couldnt stop talking about everything on the way home. Well done and thank you for a great time. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful restaurant set in the heart of my favourite city! Friendly staff immediately looked after my shopping and brought me to my table! I went for the set menu, wonderful meal and excellent champagne! I was made most welcome with my book for company, the Italians know how to make people feel welcome like the Irish. Went for our anniversary, very well catered for, superb wine knowledge. Best dining experience we have ever had.

We chose three courses at £&5 per person. The starter and the fish course were very good; the main, guinea fowl, we found mediocre. We had an aperitif, two glasses of Prosecco. Very pleasant but we were never advised about the price; it turned out the price was £26 for the two glasses. We also had one glass of house white and one glass of house red each plus two bottles of water. The total bill was £278. Frankly, we didn’t think that was value for money.

I was desperate to use the toilet as driver waiting claint, the staff told me ask the manager went inside, manager said is only for guests, very rude, I have used Ritz hotel savoy brown’s all never had problem, Don’t ask toilet this place

The suttle decor and laid back feeling in this establishment really make at home feeling work. The staff are attentive and efficient I love you. This would be expected at this level but does it always happen. Staff can be uppity. The menu is well lain out and adaptable. Three courses at this price is value. We started with the rabbit ravioli. I have been lucky enough to eat rabbit at st. James Murano and this wonderful product is treated as the king of ingredients it deserves to be. Why the British have such an aversion I will never understand being of French descent we ate as children as did mine. The pasta was perfect and the rabbit filing so delicious. If you ever get the chance to try the rabbit Ragu please do your taste buds a favour. We followed this with the hake. Incredible. Finally we had chosen the Guinea fowl. Sublime The caramelised lemon tart was not available. We ended with some wonderful chocolates with the perfect caramel centre. Fabulous wine list. Had a lovely lunch at Murano yesterday before the restaurant closes for a month for a refurb. We always have the very good value set menu, 2 courses £45, 3 courses £50. 3 choices per course of truly delicious food. My descriptions wont do the dishes justice but we had farfalle with a delicate roast pepper sauce, hake with shaved fennel with a touch of chilli, and the most divine apricot, sorbet and verbena desert. Everything was delicious and the service friendly and faultless.

I have never had an inferior or poor lunch/dinner at Murano - everything has always been first rate, the food, the staff, the ambiance, the value for money. It’s a marvellous place to lunch/dine -food is exceptionally good, being innovative, creative and always delicious. Staff are charming, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and non-obsequious. The ambiance is relaxed and it’s always a pleasure to visit.

My wife and I went to Murano to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, the food and service was exceptional from the first to last dish. Although we went for the 3 course meal we were given an additional course of risotto, which was fantastic, every mouthful of every dish was full of flavor and put a smile on your face. The staff were very friendly and attentive without getting in your way. The restaurant is very reasonably priced, also the wine list has wine for every budget. We will most certainly book again for later in the year.

Starters and mains were great but desserts were a let down. I had also indicated we were celebrating a birthday when I reserved but they seemed to not register at all.

Some Grissini sticks, focaccia, ham and olives arrived before my first course. These were generally pretty good, though I thought the focaccia was too salty. My first course was seared mackerel with beetroot. The fish was nicely cooked and had an added crunch brought on by the crispy skin. It went well with the sauce. But the beetroots could have had a more noticeable flavour. The veal crudo was great. The softness of the beef with the crunchiness of the parmesan crisp created a lovely textural contrast. The almond cream added a pleasant touch of sweetness and the beef sauce gave the dish an extra depth of flavour. The herb tortellini was fresh. The flavour resembled that of pesto and the courgettes and herbs on top gave the dish a nice refreshing element. My dish of red mullet with courgette flower was reasonable but it was not as significant as some of the other dishes. It did not particularly stand out. The pork with rhubarb was good. However, I felt that the meat was slightly tough and overcooked. The large pork cracker beside it did not provide any flavour and was only really there for texture, which I thought was slightly a shame. But the sauces were very nice. My dessert was chocolate and blood orange. The presentation was very cool and actually rather unexpected. It arrived in the form of a blood orange and chocolate base topped with a light vanilla cream. The cream was excellent. It was smooth and airy. The slightly bitter cacao sorbet with the tangy but sweet blood orange was a gorgeous combination. This was a delicious dessert. Generally, this was a good meal but regrettably, I was not as impressed as I was after a dinner here in December 2021. I did not leave feeling as immensely satisfied and delighted as I did that time. I feel some dishes lacked flavour and thought. Nevertheless, there were once again some dishes that really stood out. Service was faultless.

Took a friend here who was in London for the weekend, lovely, friendly service and the amalfi lemon tart was phenomenal. However, the ambience was lacking and a little stiff, my main course was nice but a little too salty. It didn't astound me. Overall, I don't think I'd return in a hurry, however, I have been telling everybody about the lemon tart as it was divine.
