Had our first order from here, probably the best takeaway we've had, will definitely be using again .

By far the worst place I’ve eaten from, food was overcooked and tasteless

I have eaten at various Indian restaurants and takeouts across the world, recently a beautiful restaurant on the Rhodes seafront in Greece however, all fall short of Mughal’s, I’ve been coming here for years as my go to local takeaway and the food is literally divine! Always cooked perfectly! The staff are friendly, welcoming and always up for some banter, never had a bad meal from here, my mum even converted to Mughal after using another Indian takeout for over 20years!, this place - literally in my opinion serves the nicest Indian food I’ve ever tried worldwide let alone locally. 5/5

Best Indian in hucknall by far! Very tasty and good size portions (EDIT) these guys honestly deserve the respect! food is out of this world not just the best Indian but the best takeaway and probs the best food I have ever eaten if I could eat here everyday I really would unfortunately my pockets aren't that deep though

Lovely warm spicy curry from the best Indian in Hucknall. Would definitely recommend! We ordered over the phone and the food came within the time expected. Very warm, amazing taste and the portions are perfect! We will be using Mughal again.

In my opinion the best Indian takeaway in Hucknall. The delivery service is great. Usually on time or early.

Ordered take out. Told less than 1 hour wait 2 hours and 20 mins later food turned up freezing. Chips soggy, you can't heat chips and make good... They are done. All other things in Tandoori mixed grill masala cold. So chicken hard. And other things garbage. I paid £15 to take a bag to me bin.

So. Ordered a Mixed tandoori masala and chips last night. Told 1 hour wait. Chased it up 2 hours later. It turned up 20 mins later. Chips cold and soggy, microwave won't help them. All other food cold. Thanks. £15 charge to put a bag in my bin. This shouldn't be allowed. It's theft.

Did not get that far called to book to eat in on a Saturday and rude guy on the phone Said no delivery only. Family of 7 will eat at eastwood then new Indian restaurant.

The best Indian food in Hucknall by far,we've tried others but they're not reaching the heights of Mughal, very tasty food,each dish tastes like it should ,their phone manner and delivery is excellent too and polite ,well done.

As far as I'm concerned this is the best Indian takeaway and Restaurant in the Hucknall area excellent service and the food is excellent quality, unfortunately at the moment the Restaurant is under restoration so can't comment on how good the service will be , but if it's has good ad it used to be pre Covid then you will have a fantastic meal , can't fault the place and they also offer delivery which is prompt and as near the time they gave you or before.

Ordered a few times now, always fabulous food, arrived piping hot, delicious curries, highly recommend.

Used this place for years and while most other take aways seem to have started opting for poorer quality ingredients, increased prices along with poorer service, these have always remained fantastic. I especially like their customer service, which is always professional and exceptionally polite, something that is rare to find these days.

I've just ordered from here and nothing has changed ignore the reviews trying to do harm to the business food was amazing as always we had plenty and was piping hot staff were brilliant but they always are you just need to deliver to kirkby now thank you and keep up the fantastic work I won't order my food from anywhere else

The tripadvisor reviews are very different to the Google reviews weirdly. This was out first takeout since moving to Hucknall and we won't be rushing back. The Vindaloo was very mild. The passanda was ok, but not like any I've had before, it was more like a bland tikka. Nothing was particularly tasty. The staff were friendly though and it was ready quickly.

First time we've had a take away from them absolutely lovely really tasty will definitely have take out again and will be in the que when they open for sit down meals again

First time ordering as I had a leaflet through the door, the guy I did my order with was so friendly and helpful, the food came a little earlier than expected which I was happy about and the portions and food was amazing.I love this place!

Always ordered from here and actually live right near to the owners always had a nice meal but ordered last night ordered a medium spice curry that was far to hot even the rice had a kick to it and the naan bread was supposed to be a keema naan it was bssically a thin crust pizza which had the smallest amount of horrible meat im it and was also mouldy i didnt want to put this review up as i do normally have a good meal from here but owners need to know what the hell is going on

Order set meal 4 2 of tikka masal for a birthday tray it was awful meal tasteless my 9year old granddaughter commented that it tasted funny rang company was not interested basically told I was lying after 15 years as a customer absolutely no customer service at all only interested in making as much money as possible selling substandard food I will never go again so give this curry house a WIDE BERTH !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great food fantastic curry's they will go out their way to get your curry the way you like it if you ask them, they will make it mild medium hot very hot or not so hot. Staff friendly good service, very busy place.

Very disappointed as normally very good. Bhuna and rogan josh looked and tasted the same. Not a curry you expect from the experts. Nothing you could class as a sauce More like someone’s home attempt at adding spices to vegetables. As I said normally very good. Took 2 hours to arrive too.

Absolutely disgusting, no taste in chicken tikka masala at all ,very bland ,never again ,worst ever ,in the bin it all went,has to give it 1 star to submit

Maybe it was a one off but we had a very bad experience with Mughal’s last night. We ordered 3 chicken tikka masalas and asked if it came with rice to be told yes. We ordered the extras we wanted and it came quickly excluding rice! We called to talk to the owner to explain we were not happy because we had to cook rice and keep the food warm. He apologised, offered to send some rice if we paid for it. It wasn’t a huge deal as the rice was cooking, my family just wanted to eat. We served the food (not for me) and they all almost heaved. The curry was watery, bland, tasteless and very pale for tikka masala. My husband was disappointed and rarely complains made a call to them. We totally understand mistakes happen in kitchens and just wanted them to acknowledge the problem, and resolve the situation amicably. The manager got aggressive, said the food was fine and suggested we were complaining because we were annoyed about the rice! Like we would really bother about that, they just wanted edible food. I called today to talk about it but they haven’t called back. I left a Facebook review on their page which they have deleted twice and are now claiming it is a inaccurate untrue review and we are trying to boycott them!. We rarely give negative review but when a business suggests you are fabricating stories about a bad experience it really irritates me. We have given them 3 opportunities to show their understanding of customer care and was only ever looking for them to acknowledge a problem. The food was disgraceful and their service even worse. Customer service costs nothing.

1st time trying this place curry’s were nice just not enough spice for liking but tasted lovey . Chips were horrendous TBF but 1st experience was good & the chips won’t put us off

The best cheese naan bread in the whole of Nottingham. Had twice in one week during the lockdown.

This review is for the takeaway not the restaurant. Ordered for home delivery, food was cold and disappointing. I ordered the saag paneer and it had just two chunks of paneer. Veg was poorly prepped, there was a whole piece of onion, about half of a medium size one, layers and all. Just shows lack of care in not even chopping the veg. All food had to be reheated despite waiting an hour 20 (we were advised upto an hour). Peshwari nann had very limited filling. Wouldn't order again and resentful about the money we paid for it and the waste, as much went in the bin!

If you could rate this zero stars than I probably would. Poppadoms not cooked completely and pickle tray looked like they couldn’t be bothered to cut the onions. No mint sauce! Mix kebab starter was average until I found an hair in it, tikka masala was an awful looking pink colour and absolutely tasteless. Jalfrezi was rubbish. 1 good point was the nann bread was pretty good but will not being using again. 1st and last visit.

pickles and poppadoms 8/10 naan bead was under cooked and doughy i suspect the oven wasn't hot enough .1/10 (no excuses for a chewy naan) main meal was OK nice heat but lacking in flavor lamb was good the chicken dry like it was re heated from yesterday 6/10 service was exceptional very friendly 10/10 value was good as it cost 1/2 of a good curry in Nottingham overall if the bread was light and fluffy a s it should be it wouldn't have been so bad over all mark 5/10 (oh the cobra beer also great )

First and last time ordering from here. The food was stale like it was a day old. Half the chips were green and the naan bread was like leather. Waste of money as majority of it went it the bin. Shame as most of the reviews were really good. If we were served this in the actual restaurant it would of been sent back. Inedible.

I love this place. Was recommended to us by friends when we first moved to Hucknall 8 years ago, and still using them to this day. Reasonable prices and generous portions. We’ve used both restaurant and takeaway and have never had issues with both. There can be a wait at busy times for delivery / collection but that’s purely due to their popularity I love pickle tray and popadoms followed by Chicken Dopiaza, pilau rice and a peshwari naan bread. Perfect!

My favourite this to order from this place is the samoosa's! They are always delicious! Only problem is ordering, we need to call them. An online system would be great.

I love this place. Was recommended to us by friends when we first moved to Hucknall 8 years ago, and still using them to this day.

First time we have tried mughal, when entering the place seemed a little dated but clean, so decided to order some food to take away. The staff seemed polite and knowledgeable of the menu so we settled on a Rogan josh and a Madras with rice and naan breads. Minutes before our food came out we heard a lady from the kitchen say "this rice is shocking"! Which did raise a few eyebrows in the waiting area, service time was within what I would expect on a Saturday night. When we arrived home the food appeared hot but found both naans to be undercooked, so popped them in the oven while dishing the rest of the meal. We began dishing the rice and found several burnt pieces of rice that appeared to have been stuck to the bottom of the pan, trying to make the best of the situation we fished them out and continued dishing. The curry looked pretty standard of a takeaway with large pieces of chicken. On tasting, the lack of flavour was my first thought and the chicken was chewy and plastic - this got pushed to one side, The naan even after 5 minutes in the oven still smelled strongly of dough, the rice contained several hard bits. So to sum it up our meal was of poor quality and being our first time we will not be using the place again. Reading other reviews it seems we may have just had a unlucky experience but as they say once bitten twice shy!

Went for a meal with a friend on a Friday night. We had the set menu for 2 which was AMAZING as always. The service was quick and friendly and the food tasted so good. It was only £25 for the 2 of us which was great value for so much food, the portions are massive, will definitely be back. This also has a takeaway which is just as good as the restaurant.

Undoubtedly this is the best restaurant in Hucknall! The food is amazingly authentic just like Indian. Spicy! A very small place but very well maintained, neat and clean. The staff are very friendly and in-fact they give you the best advice if you are confused with the menu! Chicken Tikka Balti, Garlic chilli Nan and Mixed Kebab are highlights! Simply Loved it! Looking forward!
