Tonight’s meal was absolutely brilliant, so tasty. Really generous portions. We had the chicken wings, so juicy and spicy. The curry goat was melt in your mouth. Beautiful dumplings and refreshing coleslaw. Thankyou

I ordered my family meals with coleslaw, Moziah forgot to give me the coleslaw the first time. I called them back to complain about not receiving the coleslaw. The second time I went there I reminded them about the coleslaw again. This time they gave me less then half of the portion size of the coleslaw I paid for. Eg. I paid for 4oz they gave me 1oz. ‍♂️The portions are very stingy for the price they charge. In London shops that sell the exact same food as Moziah’s, give bigger portions and food that tastes 10 times better, and it’s cheaper to buy. But the curry goat is very nice but the rest of the other food is ok nothing special or finger licking good. The oxtail meat is tough. Curry goat is 8/10 Jerk chicken is 7/10Oxtail is 5/10Rice and peas is 7/10Coleslaw is 9/10Overall the food is 7/10

I've eaten Caribbean at a chain restaurant before but never authentic so I can only review on taste... 5* I had goat curry my wife had Caribbean chicken curry. Both were gorgeous although if you dont like too spicy have the goat. Only thing and can complain is and I dont know we ordered rice and peas but it looked like normal rice with no peas. The dumplings I thought were going to be like english but wow they were fantastic. Not sure about the plantine they were a bit like chips.. but let me tell you this will be our go to take away from now on. Would recommend

As always the food and service were spot on, the jerk wings were cooked to perfection, as was the chicken breast. The curry goat was also amazing the meat melts in your mouth and is full of flavour, on the side we always opt for coleslaw and sweet potato fries and they are both amazing. Infact the sweet potato fries are the best I have ever had and always so crispy and tasty I just always have to order them on the side. The coleslaw is also delicious freshly made, you just cant beat freshly made creamy coleslaw which just compliments curry mutton with rice & peas. Highly recommend this place its only small so would advise booking a table, the owners are lovely and always very welcoming. Beautiful authentic Caribbean food and I highly recommend.

I came across this restaurant and it looked and sounded amazing for our large Christmas Party, so I called Monday evening only to hear on the answer machine they would open Tuesday, when I called Tuesday I heard they were not open and would be open Wednesday after 6pm, called and heard they were again closed but would be open Thursday, you know where this is going? Yep not open and answer machine was a different message each day, so someone is going in each day! Given its leading up to Christmas im sure they've missed out on trade as the website says open all week, but obviously not. Its now lost our custom too!

This was the first time we visited. We past it earlier and thought we would try it and wow it was worth going to. Good service, friendly and helpful staff. We had a chicken wing starter and curry goat with rice and peas. Both dishes were lovely. Great that the goat was boneless as there was no fiddling with bones. I thought that my curry could have been a bit spicer as I have had curried coat at Nottinghill Carnival and Delicious in Marsh Road.

Went for a celebration meal in a group of 3. Was a little disappointed at the look of the building from outside but on entering the restaurant the disappointment disappeared. Staff were very welcoming especially the two young waiting staff. The interior is very relaxing and spacious. The food was beautifully presented and tastefully seasoned. We shared chicken wings and saltfish fritters starters and struggled to finish it as it was so much. The fritters were to die for. There was absolutely no excess oil on the fritters. We spent time discussing how they were prepared. They were delicious. Main courses were oxtail special jerk chicken and chicken curry served with variety of rice macaroni pie and plantain. The plantain was slightly over cooked but when we pointed this out, they were replaced within a couple of minutes. Again the main courses were so delicious and plenty we could not clean the plates. We were very tempted to try the rum cake but our stomachs were full to capacity. Staff kept checking with us making sure all was ok. It was a beautiful evening made even better by the food and service we received and all at a very affordable price. I would highly recommend this restaurant especially for family and groups. My only complaint..,,,,music was a little loud at times but even this was quickly dealt with. Keep up the good work.

Went Friday night. Starter of salt fish went down well. Jerk chicken wings highly praised. Most of us had curried goat, which like previous TA reviews melted in the mouth and was flavoursome without being too spicy. Cooked with potatoes and carrots which added further texture and flavour. Sides to the same high standard - a clever touch to dust the chips in paprika. The braised oxtail was also excellent.

Jerk chicken wings and chicken breast always cooked to perfection and packed full of flavour. Nice enough restaurant but our table wasn't ready when we arrived despite booking in advance. We waited quite a while for our starters and we weren't all served at the same time. Salt fish fritters were fine but would have appreciated more sauce with it. Jerk chicken wings were nice but I prefer crispy skin. Had to ask for cutlery. Cancelled a starter which arrived a few minutes later. Staff are a bit chaotic. Let's hope the main doesn't disappoint. It's now well over an hour and we are still waiting for our main.

It even allowed us to see how far away the driver was when it was out for delivery. We ordered curried goat, curried chicken, rice and peas and dumplings. Everything was delicious. My visit was quite spontanous as I got cought out hungry in the area. Restaurant isnt particularly inviting and is tucked away from the high street. However things get better on the inside. Staff is very welcoming and certainly try their best to please its diners. Speaking of food. Jerk chicken is well balanced and has good flavour but I would recommend to ask to cook it hot as medium or mild will be far too bland. Chicken curry was piping hot and full of flavour. Actual chicken cubes were super tender and this meal is in my opinion best paired with a side. My only compliant was the coffee which was very weak but I appreciate it was offered as it doesnt seem to be on the menu. After all its not a coffee place. Strangely restaurant was literally empty even though we were there around 6 30pm on saturday but at the end we had a very pleasant chat with lady owner and we could find out a little bit more about their plans and what else is there on offer. It is great alternative to fast food like chicken shops and other average grill places around. Will be visiting again.

Gave this restaurant a chance as it had received outstanding reviews. I was extremely disappointed that an hour after opening several of the menu items had not been cooked. To not have curry goat ready is pretty poor start to your service. The jerk chicken had a pleasant seasoning but was extremely dry which for chicken on the bone is not good. The oxtail was very bland, no spice and was in a tomato sauce not the rich meaty and butterbean Gravy. And the jerk bbq ribs had neither jerk nor bbq flavour. Just tasted like ribs thrown in oven. I am a big food lover and enjoy food that is seasoned well and not overcooked. I feel the cooking team need to go back to basics and nail the flavours. Caribbean restaurants are hit and miss and this was a big miss. Highlights were the rice and peas and the plantain. (says it all) All jokes aside I love Caribbean food and was very disappointed with what was offered..it's one thing not liking how something is seasoned...it's worse when food has little to no seasoning at all. Save yourself heartbreak and go buy a levi roots ready meal, you'll have much more pleasant experience. Ha ha

It's a quirky place that looks like a converted living room, which is most likely was. You get a very warm welcome and good, simple service. The place doesn't hold that many people so doesn't get overly busy. The decor is basic, this is not a fancy restaurant - you come here for a chilled evening with great caribbean food. Never got round to going when this was Jamrock as we do have friends who cook great Guyanese and Jamaican food, so never had the need. However having decided to visit, we're glad that we did, Moziah's is a real credit to Luton and adds a broader dimension to the food scene. The location and outside appearance is quite wayward, however as people say don't let it put you off, after all how did Shoreditch start? The Fritters are amazing and the accompaniment dip delivers genius balance between bonnet intense piquancy, sweetness and acidity through Mango. The soup is also very nice and zingy with a good consistency and structure and there is no shortage of chicken, dumpling noodles, potatoes and carrots.Deliciously light, perfectly cooked dumpling, as good as the best we've had anywhere, same goes for the Roti Perfectly cooked and evenly sized plantain and a rice and peas on a chicken stock base that is sometimes lacking, but not here, which reinforces the level of authenticity that is delivered by Moziah. The prep on the goat is as previously reported, clean and with a really thick and unctuous sauce. Chicken curry was also really good, but for sure a second visit is needed to try the Guava baked chicken and some jerk or fish dishes.Really well laid out menu, concise but not limited offering of dishes. Fair comment on the corn fritters on one level, but then they are more synonymous with Thai, so a tough call :) Warm and friendly across the board from decor to service to ambience. Nice website too as it goes...Give it a try!

Moziah is a cracking little find in Luton! Don't let the outside fool you. It looks like a flat/house but when you get in feels very much like a proper restaurant. The lady who served us (I believe owns Moziah with her husband doing the cooking) was lovely and explained any foods we didn't know. The food itself was tasty! I had curried goat with my girlfriend having vegetable curry (she is a vegetarian) The plantain and dumplings are a must!

Not the largest of menus but the food is freshly cooked and tastes great. The restaurant is comfortable and warm. Not the best wine choice but very friendly and helpful staff. Planning my next visit soon.

It was my first time trying Moziah's a few days ago, me and my boyfriend were actually about to go to Turtle Bay in Milton Keynes but could not be bothered to drive and my sister suggested this place. Honestly, this is the best Caribbean food i have EVER tasted. We were the first customers in so me and my boyfriend were by ourselves which was nice, the place has a really nice atmosphere and our waitress was very helpful. The food was absolutely amazing and i could not believe how cheap it was considering this is what we ordered:2 boneless jerk chicken breasts, 2 sweet potato chips, 2 dumplings each, Coleslaw, Rice & Peas, Mac n Cheese and 4 drinks in total. This only came to £25. For a quick take-away, i would usually go to The Lime in town, but this place has really exceeded my expectations and will be the only place i go to for Caribbean food from now on. I would recommend this place for anyone!!

Me and three others ate at Moziah's and we were all more than satisfied with the choice, We ended up ordering quite a bit of food, we all ate until we couldn't eat anymore. The waitress was very friendly and put up with our bad jokes, took multiple orders and split the bill at the end very well. Can't wait to go back again.

My Daughter and l meet on a Thursday for a catch up, mainly in one of the town centers eateries. This time my Daughter choose and it was a restaurant in Luton that l had never heard of. It was Moziah's serving the finest cuisine. The food was reasonably priced, helpful staff and felt like home from home. Parking might be an issue for drivers, because those traffic wardens are out there. If you are ever in town, I would strongly suggest this establishmentDefinitely worth a 2nd or 3rd visit

At a suggestion of my girlfriend, who is fast becoming a fan of jerk chicken, we headed to Moziah's. The first thing that she pointed out was the high food hygiene rating (5 rating). always a good start.upon walking in, there is a warm friendly greeting and this helps set the mood for comfortable eating. We ordered are food after seating etc. I should point out (in case you were unsure) that the food on offer is Jamaican (as opposed to Caribbean). It is well selected and the menu offers enough variety for everyone to get something they like. The saltfish fritters were hot and tasty (I would love to see sweetcorn fritters on the menu too). The Jerk Chicken was well cooked with great option of a milder sauce (the girlfriend is only starting out). Flame grilled to nigh perfection - it remained succulentThe curried goat... there are very few words as to how good this was. Great sauce, tender meat, not one iota of excess fat. This is as good as mum used to make... maybe even better.I have no complaints about this restaurant apart from why has it taken me so long to find out about it.It is a hidden gem and one that more people should discover. I would travel a good distance for this kind of overall experience. As and added extra, the prices are fantastic. 2 people eating good food in a great atmosphere should cost more than it does at this venue. 9/10 from me (it'd get 10 if sweetcorn fritters were available) :-P

I visited Moziah's with a couple of friends and enjoyed everything I ate. The highlight for me was the curried goat which was perfectly tender and in a rich sauce, I had sweet potato chips and fried plantain with this and it was the perfect amount of food. I enjoyed a pina colada with my meal. Service was good. I'd definitely visit again, that curried goat was so tasty!

I found out about Moziah's in the local 'Luton at Large' magazine and was keen to try as I love Caribbean food and culture. So I went with two friends on a Friday night. I had spicy chicken wings with a mango dip to start. They were spicy and tasty. Then I went for a classic Jamaican dish which I have never heard of which is Ackee and Salt fish which was so delicious. I had fried plantain, a dumpling and sweet potato fries too. The fries were incredible. They were crispy which is hard to achieve. For drinks I went for a traditional run punch, which was excellent and strong. Just how I like it. Then I had another drink which was sorrel with ginger and spice. You can have this as a soft drink, but I decided to have a splash of rum in it!One of the owner's is wheat intolerant and is keen to ensure there are wheat free options. My friend cannot eat gluten and she was able to have a gluten free dumpling and other parts of the dishes adapted. The prices were excellent as was the service. We are going to make this our regular place to go. I will also be going there for lunch as well as take aways. All Lutonians must go there!

I love this place! My husband and I were told about this hidden gem a few months back and we've been going ever since! They have great food and the owners are lovely. It's not close to where we live, but if eating out we'll always choose to go there. At first, we took our two small children with us and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating when my (then) 19month old went a bit mad/crazy and wanted to explore. Since then we've been back on our own and with friends and we tell EVERYONE about it. Recently we haven't had the chance to get out and go, so we went to pick up some takeaway and it was still the same great food and good portions for the price!! I LOVE their fruit punch and would recommend you try the callalou rice for something different but tasty and the curried goat is sooo good!!

My first visit to this restaurant, which was recommended by a friend on facebook, and it certainly won't be the last! Having grown up in the Caribbean, I know good food, and the food at Moziah's definitely falls into that category. Everything was freshly cooked, hence the short wait for our meal, but during this time, we indulged in a wonderful rumpunch. Apart from the standard Jerk chicken and goat curry, there were various other options to choose from. They have only been opened for a year, and I will say that they are still 'finding their feet', but I wish them the best of luck with this venture. My sister who lives in London is already planning her next visit to Luton!

Moziah's is situated at the bottom end of Liverpool Road, near the health centre, it's quite easy to miss it, so keep an eye out. It's a plain, but clean restaurant, with a good choice of Caribbean food, and side dishes. At lunch time there are specials with very reasonable prices. They also operate a take-away service, which has a constant flow of customers. Enjoy.

I came here with my wife and two daughters, was really happy to find a local carribean restaurant and not just the typical takeaway shack which is often the case with this cuisine. What was even more pleasing was that the food tasted excellent! We got the standard jerk chicken and goat curry though the menu does have alot of other options that people who are very familiar with carribean cuisine would appreciate. Anyway the jerk chicken was seasoned so well and cooked wonderfully, and so was the goat curry. Presentation and great food is achieved right here.I'll be back here for sure!My wife and daughters loved itthankyou :)
