Moskito Bar in Glasgow City

I visited moskito last night with friends for my 21st, the staff were amazing and the service from start to finish was some of the best I have seen. Big shoutout to Tony for giving me a birthday cocktail.

Popped in for Brunch and was not disappointed. Food was delicious, I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict and it was really good. Really nice interior and the music was great too. Service was outstanding, we were served by Cieran and he was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Came here for a couple of drinks last weekend and all I can say is wow! Our server Tony was a great chat and always made sure we were topped up. The cocktails were on point, would definitely come back!

Popped in this afternoon, drinks were great and we had some small plates which were really flavoursome. Our server Tony smashed it, really helpful and his recommendations where amazing.

I popped into Moskito for a quick drink after work last Friday but ended up staying for 3 or 4! The staff were so friendly Nadine greeted me and my friend at the door and secured us a table even though we hadn’t booked and it was very busy. Great service from Tony all night who went the extra mile to recommend great cocktails. The nibbles board was lovely too!

Went to Miskito last night, great vibe. 100% would recommend. Staff were amazing and cocktails were just as good. The venue being stunning is a bonus.

Genuinely so terrible, one of the worst bars I've ever been to. Shocking service with a condescending and rude server, food was terrible w no allergens listed on menu, and a single drink was £12. Would recommend to everyone to stay away.

Awful, warm pint of Heineken that tasted like cider.

The worst food I have had the displeasure to taste and pay for...Avoid the rubber fish cakes and the cardboard chicken...Not for us won't be going back Shame as some of the staff are very nice

Lovely wee place but food is overpriced for what you get.....I got the fishcake, which was absolutely disgusting, tasted like fish but had a rubbery texture, more like an overcooked burger pattie, fries were brilliant (3 stars for them alone). Server hardly cracked a smile, didn't bother to ask if food was okay, even after seeing that I hadn't eaten the so called fishcake. Bit of a poor experience all round....definitely won't be back.

Very nice wee place. Girl who served us was lovely. Portion sizes could have been a bit bigger. If the fries weren't overdone would have given more stars. Had to leave half the fries due to them being rock solid. Food was well presented

Came in for afternoon tea with cocktails. Very friendly, professional staff. Delicious food. Fab cocktails. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for someone a wee bit different.

Amazing Taylor Swift brunch and we're not even finished. Especially Ben who has been amazing making sure we're topped up. "He's got that James Dean day dream look in his eeeyeeees...." definitely be back x

It was a quiet Friday afternoon when we visited. The guy who served us was simply wonderful! Couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and polite. The food was delicious, the hake dish and beef char sui were particularly fabulous and the charcoal pavlova...yum! Highly recommended it. Only slight thing was that it was a bit cold, but that's probably just coz it was quiet and not much body heat in the place. Loved it here.

Booked table online and received confirmation. Turned up at alloted time on a wet and windy night to celebrate my wife's birthday, only to be told our booking hadn't shown up on their system. We were told we could have a table but only for 75 minutes - we said this was not any use for a night out. Asked to sit at the bar so they could see if they could"rearrange things". No apology offered and no offer of a drink whilst we waited. Sat for a few minutes then gave up and went elsewhere. Terrible customer care in my opinion.

Expensive. Staff weren't overly friendly, but not terrible. Seemed like a hassle finding us a table. Only there for one drink, but hit you with a service charge! Complete joke after paying a small fortune for an average cocktail.

On the pricy side but good atmosphere and music is normally on point. DJs have always managed to gauge the mood and also get live music. Bar can get very busy though which means a wait at times.

Really disappointed. I attended for the xmas brunch which cost £35 (ish) which included a small meal and 2 cocktails. Now, i don't drink but still wanted to join in with my friends who do. I asked the server if they did any mocktails to which he said no but can get me a soft drink instead. Disappointed, I asked if i could at least have a 0% beer. He said i could but i would then need to pay extra (which i did but kinda had no alternative) so i essentially paid more than my friends, even though i wasn't drinking. Really poor service for a bar in 2023! I certainly wont be back as there are plenty of other great, inclusive places in glasgow that have no alcohol alternatives! The entertainment was great though so nothing against the DJ and singers!

Chilled out venue, good music and atmosphere.

Cocktails are not great , kind of expected them to be nice seen as its a cocktail bar and as for the food just don't bother cheap attempt at tapas . Great service from staff though

Fantastic hidden gem of a bar in Glasgow. Staff all super friendly and the cocktails we had were all super tasty. Plenty of classics on the menu but some great bespoke cocktails too. Can't wait to get back to Glasgow and next time we'll try to eat here too, food looked excellent.

My fiancé and I came here for a small birthday dinner/night out. The food was incredible! I cannot recommend the menu enough. We had such a delightful sever, the cocktails were creative and delicious. Highly recommend for a fun night out!

A group of us came here after dinner, was about 11 pm, and this guy was walking about with his saxophone, playing tunes. We didn't eat, and we just ordered a few rounds from the bar. Really cute place, and the drinks were great!

Erm we had an ok time, but each time we ordered a new bottle of wine we got given a bottle that was already open and had some wine already taken from it (ie the same bottle twice), I dunno just took the shine off the visit. Decor is lovely, love music was a treat, and the place was buzzing maybe we just had quite new bar staff.

One of the best meals I've had in a restaurant in years, my husband had the pork katsu sandwich which he enjoyed but the stand out was the crispy haggis bar, the whisky caramel sauce was unbelievably good. Finished off with gorgeous white chocolate eclairs and a couple of cocktails. Beautiful setting and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be returning

Always love coming here! Went for lunch and we opted for the tapas style menu and it really didn’t disappoint. Our server was really attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is always lovely and the menu for drinks is great too.

I came here with friends for the Friends quiz, we had a great time food and cocktails were delicious, it really was a fun afternoon, majority of the service was good there was one waiter who forgot to bring drinks so we had to chase it up but other than that no complaints. Will definitely come again x

Booked a lunch meal it was quite nice but the staff were disorganised. Food was arriving and there was no cutlery on table. So each time food arrived for each course, we had no cutlery. There was some Disney princess party on and the music was playing in restaurant also. Definitely not my bag at all listening to Disney soundtracks With drink on top of meal deal it was total £98. For the service and food it was definitely not worth it. One server also sitting outside our booth window smoking

Absolutely fantastic venue... Cool cool cool vibe... The staff are really friendly... The food is to die for... And the cocktails are out of this world. Very highly recommended and will be visiting again very soon.

Interesting crowd here - a mix of ages and outfits pre-10pm. Post-10pm it’s definitely pre-club people - the table service stops, the music volume jumps a few notches and the average age drops significantly. It was clean, tidy, the lighting is incredible and the table service we received was good. The only negative is that we had a table booked - we were told several times that it was needed back by 9pm, which we knew but didn’t need someone to keep interrupting our last 30 mins of table time to tell us. Drinks were ok - pricey and some were a bit gimmicky, with smoke bubbles and edible butterflies (no need for this). There was someone on the bar who was brand new and clearly didn’t yet know the menu (“We have coconut gin?!”) which is disappointing for a Saturday night. It’s a beautiful venue but I probably wouldn’t come back…mostly because I just felt incredibly old!

Place is cosy and offers good ambience. Ambience- 7/10 Cost - 5/10 Setting- 6/10

Pretty average. Service was painfully slow and portions were very small. The patatas bravas tasted fine, but they were not patatas bravas. What was served was boiled potatoes with some spicy mayonnaise. Patatas bravas should be fried. The katsu sandwich was slightly burnt and very small and tough. Nothing terrible, but just very average.

Cocktails weren't very nice. Strawberry daiquiri and French martini both disgusting. Giving the stars for it being lovely inside, good music and good atmosphere.

Absolutely gorgeous breakfast everything was so tasty and plenty of it. Beautiful inside and out staff very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended it.

The atmosphere was great. However the food was too expensive for the portions served. I ordered the tiger prawns and got just 4 small prawns. The staff roof atleast 20 mins to get the bill after we asked. We had to finally leave and pay at the bar where they still charged us a £20 service charge that we didn't plan on paying

Fantastic wee place, just silly things that didn't make it a full 5 for me, such as the tables needing revarnished as sticky to touch even after being wiped. Lack of information on timings for the spice girls' brunch that was attended. Staff were amazing, but some could be more knowledgeable and advise guests about charges added onto your bill before paying/ordering if not familiar with the place. Great wee day out and some quirky photo opportunities with the decor. Neon heart, wooden frame, and the beautiful angel wings. Toilets are clean and beautiful, perfect place for that toilet selfie 🤳.

Had a private party in The Monkey Room (private room inside Moskito) last week for my bf’s 30th and it was amazing! Venue, and DJ included in the price, and the deposit could be reimbursed on food/drink etc. All the staff (bartenders, DJ, managers) were so nice and helpful. Chris was amazing, we were having so much trouble getting a video that I had made to play at the party and he pulled out all the stops to make sure it worked! Thanks so much guys, amazing night!

Word on the street is that this place does an amazing cocktail... And it's definitely does. Recommended for a great date night

Visited for the first time on Saturday night for cocktails. Vio, was super attentive and knowledgeable and is a credit to the bar. Although we didn't eat the food at the next table looked amazing!

Always a favourite of mine during my Uni days, but I still occasionally pop in. Thankfully it has been done up and it is still an excellent but cosy bar. The toilets have been upgraded at last ( thank god ) all in all, I would definitely pop back in on a night out.

Stylish pub, I would say aimed at the 20-25 age group mainly. It was popular and the service was excellent.

Chilled out place,went for brunch would go back at night for cocktails with a group ,meal outside in the spring would be a nice date night too.

Staff are great but the male clientele are just pigs towards women, they need to start screening the creeps at the door.

The food was excellent.One of the chicken portion wasn't well cooked. The staff and manager were excellent in handling our complaint and served another portion.Their communication was perfect and admirable. Bathrooms were clean and the decor is outstanding. Will happily go back again.

Went around so many different bars looking for some place that was nice. Eventually we found this place and it was perfect. The guy behind the bar was super friendly. The interior design was done so well. They played great music all night. Drinks were all delicious. Toilets immaculate. I wish we had found the place earlier because it was just perfect, fantastic atmosphere!

Brilliant nightspot, staff were friendly, great banter. Next time I'm out in Glasgow this is where I'm going

Decent off-city center basement bar with good atmosphere. Friendly staff, good range of drinks from any £5 for a pint of the house IPA up to £15+ for the rarer spirits.

Amazing service and the place is beautiful however, it is very expensive for what it is although very tasty for foodies.

Food was lovely and staff very helpful and attentive. We were there at 5pm on a Tuesday so it was quite and no real opportunity to experience the atmosphere.

Lovely venue since the refurbishment with good atmosphere & friendly staff. Food was very tasty. My only criticism is the food could be described as small plates with the cost of a main meal, definitely not a place to go for something to eat if you're hungry!

Three things I always look for; great food, great service and great decor. Moskito ticks all the boxes, and then some. We were there for an early dinner on Friday. The team were so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, and Pav and her colleagues were brilliant. The menu is really creative, with a great choice of small plates, and the food was delicious. As for the venue itself - so stylish with a laid back vibe. Great for a date night, or anything else. Highly recommended!

Lovely bar. Very friendly staff, good atmosphere, good music, good drinks menu and a good price! They will also make some cocktails that aren't on the menu which is great. Went for drinks rather than food, but from what I seen the food also looked delicious.

Nice place just way over priced.. food is good but you'd expect better in relation to cost.. and not much on the menu so I'd recommend looking at the menu before going to save disappointment.

Staff very helpful! Taxi wouldn’t let me in without a mask which I had lost. Gave me one from the bar so I could get home safe. Helpful staff: services was slower but to be expected with all table service

Brilliant late night bar can’t complain , lovely staff . Musics good and I would never have been to the old Moskito but this has totally transformed ! The new IT place in town !
