Great breakfast every Saturday.

Love having lunch at Monty's after swimming at Garston with the kids. Great selection and flexibility. Great value. Friendly service and atmosphere. WE LOVE MONTY'S!

Alex & June serve the best scouse I have ever had! They are always so welcoming to us and the dogs (who get served and spoilt first!), and it is cash only! Fab

The best breakfast we have had in a cafe for a very long time...... Lovely sausages, not the cheap frozen ones you get in a lot of cafes. To be honest its the first time my wife has cleared her plate in a long time. Staff were really pleasant and friendly. Would definately recommend this cafe to anyone. Next time we go I will be trying the scouse with red cabbage and crusty roll.

Decent little cafe near Garston Lifestyles gym. Good home cooked menu, friendly service and very reasonable prices. Quirky decor and they do a great cuppa. Recommended.

From the comments I've read, I'm sure Monty's Cafe is a wonderful place to enjoy a quick meal or lounge over a coffee. While this American has not had the pleasure, Monty's is on my list to visit should I ever return to Liverpool. I also hear the owner is a very lovely and gracious lady. Anyone know if Monty's serves Babycham and Brandy?

It's with pleasure I find myself reviewing one of my favourite cafes . The consistently good food at very competitive prices draws people of all types from the surrounding community as does the warm welcome from Frank and June and their staff. Give yourself a treat and try the Braising steak , liver or the wonderful scouse. At busier times you may have to wait a while especially if there are a lot of phone orders on the go. Seating can be a little cramped for big boys and girls , there are high chairs available for the little ones so family meals are a winner!

Great food interesting surroundings

This cafe has thick toast slices that are simply the best toast we have had - as thick as an inch each slice and served crisp and warm with butter and jam if wanted, for a ridiculously low price. Highly recommended

Monty's Cafe is a traditional 'Greasy Spoon' that is in no way 'greasy'. They offer a great range of breakfasts, lunches, and snacks that are well prepared using quality ingredients. Though small, and a little cramped, this in no way detracts from the quality or quantity of the food, nor it's value for money. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the cafe has a homely, neighbourhood feel, where regulars and first-timers can all feel equally comfortable and well-fed. Highly recommended.

Decided to go to montys for breakfast/dinner, really cosy little cafe lovely breakfast staff were really nice too considering we strolled in 15 minutes before closing they never hurried us out they served everything with a smile! A fabulous cup of tea too! Will definitely be back to cure another hangover!!

Montys do the best breaky around. Great staff fast service and cheap, what more do you want. Even when it's busy the service is spot on.

Stopped in for breakfast. I thought the price was decent for what I had, the food was nice and arrived pretty quickly! The cafe was clean looking, with a plentiful menu. It is easy to park on the road outside, with no parking restrictions Just a few hundred yards from Liverpool South Parkway bus/train station, it's somewhere to get a bite before you start your journey

Truckers cafe truckers food. I only had breakfast which is standard and nothing special. It is slightly cheaper than others in the area. I would rather pay a bit more for better surroundings.

Been here a few times and It is my go to cafe if I am around that part of Liverpool. The food is always spot on and some of it is home made. Never had a bad meal and definitely recommend. Breakfasts are spot on.

I go here quite a often and never any problems. Always a nice breakfast and cup of tea for a £5 with extras can't complain. Everyone in there are dead nice and quick to get food out.
