Said vegan on the menu - when it arrived it had an egg in it ! Owner started rudely arguing with me when I tried to point this out

Arrived quick but one container spilt Prawn Jalfriezi only 7 prawns Called to complain about spillage and lack of prawn Treated like a inconvenience No help no response just put phone down

I ordered 2 meals for delivery. The curry was very disappointing and had no flavour whatsoever. It tasted watered down. The chips were stale. When I called to share my disappointment, the chef was very defensive and rude, and he put the phone down on me. I called him back and asked him why he put the phone down on me. He told me that he was busy and that he will try to do better next time. Absolutely no customer service. I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again.

Really bad meal, very small portions, phoned to explain & chap swore like mad & blamed uber driver. Then slammed phone down.

If I could rate this 0 star then I would. Absolutely horrible place, dirty, rude staff and food tastes like it had been sat there for days. Don’t waste your money there, trust me on that one. It’s not hard to be nice, yet they really made it look difficult.

ordered for the first time tonight, arrived on time and piping hot, everything was 10/10 and they made the butter chicken perfectly spicy!!! i can honestly say this is the best takeaway i’ve had in years

Ordered on Uber eats and was told the Korma was creamy and mild which was necessary as I have a geographic tongue and I cannot do spice. When my order came the korma was spilt and unfortunately quite spicy, which was false advertising. I called the restaurant to tell them that this was misleading and they condescended, patronised and talked down to me even saying if I knew if a curry was spicy?! The saddest thing is they didnt even resolve my issue. Oh yes, they also completely missed out the peshwari naan I ordered. I now have wasted my money and been talked down too, and had to buy my dinner some place else. Extremely disappointed, do not order here.

Great food, reasonable prices and great staff. Food arrived hot and was fresh. I just wish they added popadoms and chutney with the meal but we still really enjoyed it.

I’ve cold chicken samosas very watery and spicy tikka masala frozen and very tough chicken been frozen?? Hmmm all 6 poppadoms stale and soggy the only reason I gave it a 2 as the onion bajee was ok. I did ring the restaurant to give feedback and wasn’t after anything free but he defended it saying poppadoms always go soggy on deliveries and stood by his very poor food. I wish I looked it up on tripadvisor before I ordered. Order at own risk

Wrong food was delivered, very rude on phone and refused to send correct food out. Spent £14 on two tiny tubs of chicken tikka with no sauce!! Complete rip off. Will never order again. Used to be a good takeaway.

Entre otros platos que pedí estaban bhajis de cebolla y parrilla mixta de tandoori, ambos anunciados con ensalada, adivina qué ensalada no fue entregada, afortunadamente teníamos un poco en la nevera; de lo contrario, ¡sería como pedir curry y arroz y simplemente obtener el curry! El resto de la comida estaba bien, pero esta es otra comida para llevar tachada de mi lista

Los muchachos en el mostrador solían ser muy amables y siempre lanzaban algunos popadoms gratuitos. La comida estaba siempre caliente y deliciosa y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Esta última visita me hace pensar que la comida para llevar ha cambiado de manos. No hay personal amigable en el mostrador, faltaba un poco de pan en el pedido y la calidad de la comida no era la norma habitual. No creas que volveremos a ordenar. Vergüenza, como solía ser encantadora.

This is what I ordered (copied from the actual order): Peshwari Naan 2.50 Pilau Rice 2.40 Keema Naan 2.50 Tikka Madras, Lamb 5.95 Onion Bhaji 2.40 Tandoori King Prawn Masala 10.95 The "Peshwari Naan" was missing, no big deal I thought so I contacted Just-eats. They contacted the restaraunt and this is the response: "I just spoke to the restaurant and did not agree for any compensation or refund because they're sure that they have place the naan on the bag." and... "They have also stated that you have requested two naan even though you only ordered one." Seriously! I can categorically tell them that the Naan was not in the bag. And then to deny I even ordered it in the first place is extremly bizzare. So I tell you what, "Monsoon Indian Takeaway", I will never order a thing from you again and see how much your £2.50 Naan is going to cost you in the long run! Plus here is a bad review to boot! Thankfully Just-Eats gave me a £5 voucher to cover these fools!

Really surprised by the past good reviews; as our curry was full of flavour, but the lamb was very tough and chewy. And I have a house of upset tummies this morning which I suspect was caused by the food as all who ate were affected.

Absolutely fantastic. Firstly the first impression you get of a new takeaway is the delivery driver. I didn't catch his name but he was the nicest delivery driver ever. Now the food. The food was stunning, lots of it and plenty of flavour. The food arrived early and was piping hot. I had a chicken tikka dish and the chicken was the most tender I've ever had in a curry. The sauce was top notch. I shall definitely order from here again ten out of ten!

I didn't receive my food? How can you charge me when I didn't receive it?!

Service was great fast, correct order arrived unlike some places I've ordered from. However as the chicken was exceptionally tough and was very different in taste to all the other korma I have ever eaten anyway. Price was average for our size order. I will not be ordering from them again due to the reasons mentioned above. The tikka bhuna however was nice and pleasant.

The menu was not clear when it came to the set menu, when I called up to ask about the set menu when we thought we weren't given the right food the staff were very rude about me asking about it.

The food quality wasn't the best. the chips were green and stale and very greasy, the poppadoms were soggy. Half of the order was missing so the driver came back within 15 minutes with fresh chips and poppadoms too which were good.

Delivered with two main courses wrong. Phoned to tell restaurant rude on phone. Spent 40 minutes looking for our order then phoned us back to say they were finally redoing our order (and implied we were lieing) . Took an hour and a half after that (over 2 hours since we phoned to report the mistake). Very bad customer service, wouldn't refund. Called later to chase and told driver will be with you soon as doing 2/3 orders in our area, disappointed we were not prioritised. Won't be ordering from here again.

Consistency hot fresh food never had a bad meal from this place in years

The popadom was soggy, the chips were dry and cold and the chicken was also dry, would not recommend ordering from here! Also it was all a mess in the bag, the curry gathered as a puddle in the bottom of the bag...

The quality of food was below average, and did not reflect the traditional dishes you may buy from better authentic curry houses. I wouldn't rush back to order from here again. The positive side was the delivery was speedy and on time.

I was able to collect the food a few minutes earlier than I expected. The food was lovely and hot. It was possibly one of the nicest curries I have had for a while. The Naan was great and had a good dry texture. The food was reasonably prices as.well.

Absolutamente disgustado con Monsoon, The Chicken Tastes RAW, la salsa de curry ni siquiera es curry, es un color completamente diferente al Korma normal (es amarillo), no es de color anaranjado, parece que el cocinero ha añadido más que suficiente bicarbonato soda, y las virutas son horribles también tienen mucho aceite en ellos. Me apareció en alrededor de las 11:00, es un lugar pequeño con dos plazas y un mostrador, pedí el mismo he pedido en cada restaurante bengalí o llevar voy a, una que es la de arranque keema pollo tikka, arroz frito, keema nan y una bebida. Estoy agradablemente sorprendida una era realmente buena. El hombre estaba buenísimo y keema fue quemada, el arroz frito keema era bueno, el pollo con sus mezclas de hierbas y especias fue más que satisfactorio. Buena relación calidad-precio. parecía limpio y ordenado. 7 / 10

Great food but we did not receive our drinks that we ordered and also we selected a Lamb Biriyani and received a chicken one

I have a food allergy, so rang the restaurant. They were extremely helpful. Delivery was about 15 minutes after they said but still plenty hot. Chips weren't fantastic but I did have extra poppadoms and an extra dip too

Es una pena porque el monzón solía servir comida fantástica. Fue la India siempre pedimos desde ya que Gambas de Madrás, Pollo al Curry fue el mejor de la zona. Los propietarios también eran buena gente, muy amable y generoso. No estoy seguro si el mismo hermanos dirige el monzón ahora?

We've been eating at the Monsoon for over 10 years but tonight I found the Prawn Madras awful. They used the cheapest Prawns that had disintegrated. This is a false economy as I won't order this dish from the Monsoon again. Their Prawn Madras used to be the best around, not anymore!

The food arrived almost 2 hours after being ordered. Was cold, and has left me a frequent WC visitor this morning. I wont be ordering from this restaurant again.

The food is really good! Think the driver struggled to find our place but people usually do, and they forgot one of the bags. The restaurant apologised when we called and sent the drive back. Would order from here again though.

Sad to say we have had a bad meal from here, always a great takeaway in the past. Some wrongly delivered food, in the main poor quality. Not going to use again, shame.

Everything was swimming in oil. It had leaked out into the bag which was off putting. Then I had to drain a load off before I could eat anything. Shame because the meat was tasty. Not a good experience.
