We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant where both food and service was excellent . The atmosphere was great with lovely music . Desserts are excellent worth a try . Would fully recommend a visit here

Tuvimos una buena variedad de comida con el hígado de terneros que merece una gran llamada. Lo recomendaría como una alternativa a la gran cantidad de restaurantes cercanos, especialmente para aquellos que gustan de las pizzas a la leña.

Excelente menú y personal encantador. Me pregunto por qué no he estado allí antes, especialmente porque el amigo que se unió a mí anoche vive en el camino.Nuestros entrantes fueron muy buenos. Visited this restaurant as i had heard great things about it from my friends. Its small and cosy and overall really clean. The menu has a variety of food to pick from, in which i picked the red rice with fish which was delicious! prices are affordable for what you get on the plate. Overall lovely staff and place to visit with family or friends.

I'd heard great things about this place, but only recently tried it. It's hard to know what to pick from the extensive menu as it all looked enticing. The American/Italian chef creates very authentic Italian food and we weren't disappointed. Prices are very reasonable too. My friend had a couple of starters/tapas and they were equivalent to a main course. Loved the liver and onions in port. Will definitely go again.

My daughter took my wife here for her birthday on a Friday (19th). This place was such a surprise; it is small but had a lovely atmosphere. The food (Italian) was excellent, from the steak pizzas to swordfish (lovely) was excellent ( good portions), reasonable priced wine was good, service was excellent (waitress very attentive). Just a lovely place to have a meal, will definitely come again! PS my daughter is dairy intolerant and she had no problems eating here.

This was our first visit to this restaurant - food generally good. Once again I didn't select the best choice - fried calamari which was well cooked if somewhat boring and sliced veal in burnt butter sauce which was OK but I've had better.I was impressed with one of the other guests grilled king prawn dish which looked amazing and something I would definitely order on our next visit.The house red was reasonably priced but not that great. I must add that service was spot on for a busy Saturday night!

As a solo diner for the evening, I stumbled upon this Italian. From the moment I got in there, the staff were extremely attentive. The food was both delicious, and reasonable. The chef was also very polite and keen to keep the atmosphere in the restaurant nice. I will definitely come back!

If you are not to demanding it's gonna be a good place for you :) Nice service, good atmosphere and average/good food (depend on dish). Price are nice too :) go and check yourself

Un ambiente increíble, buen servicio, pizzas increíbles, mucho pero no hay mucho para elegir, no para bebidas y comida caras, teniendo en cuenta lo hermoso y alto que se ve el restaurante. Definitivamente recomendaría la pizza Al Capone que a todos les encanta, todas las pastas son increíbles y el tiramisú es increíble.

I had dinner here last Saturday evening with a friend. We had the best night; very friendly service, particularly from Freddie, really good food, and not so noisy that we couldn't hear each other speak.

We visited Momento las week and had a lovely meal. The food was delicious especially the lamb ragu. Freddie (our waiter) was very professional, friendly and made fantastic recommendations- we will definitely be returning.

What an amazing night. The food was absolutely great! There was so much choice, and also catered for a gluten intolerance by offering alternatives. Freddy is an awesome waiter! And the Chef, George, was a delight to talk to. Highly recommend you make a visit!

We’ve regularly been coming to Momento for over ten years now and during that whole time it hasn’t failed to impress. The staff have always been charming and pleasant and the current team of Freddy and Olympia is no exception. The food is delicious and freshly prepared and the recent change to the menu has extended the range of what’s available.

We only live 5 minutes away, but this was our first time in Momento. The pizza oven is up and running again and the pizza was delicious! My partner had the sirloin steak and vows he’ll be back. Definitely worth a visit.

They have revamped their menu and taken pizzas off. Food and services remains of a very high quality. Always busy at weekends so worth booking.

They serve the best bruschetta I've ever had. It's the perfect mix of quality ingredients and great preparation - I almost don't want to eat it anywhere else again (which is a shame, given that this place is 100 miles from my house). The mushroom tagliatelle is also excellent, with a generous portion size and a good amount of mushrooms on top. The prices are almost ridiculously low, £7 for a main! Staff are really friendly and attentive here, too. I had a nice chat with Freddie when he brought me my food - he described it as a high-end restaurant for a very good price, and I absolutely agree with him, the food really is outstanding. They also do takeaway food, which would make it even cheaper!

This restaurant specialises in pasta dishes and is located on Northfields Avenue. The waiter was friendly and helped recommend some excellent dishes. For starters we had a mix of breads, portobello mushroom fritters and ham. The pasta main was excellent- between us we had three different dishes and all were very tasty. I had tiramisu for dessert and it was excellent. I would really recommend this restaurant as being nice for a casual meal with friends or partners. The dishes are very good value for money and of high quality.

Mi marido y yo visitamos el momento para nuestra cena de aniversario, ya que está cerca de nuestra casa y esta fue nuestra primera noche ya que nuestro bebé nació tres semanas antes, así que no quería ir muy lejos. El restaurante parecía muy moderno pero acogedor y tenía un ambiente encantador y un menú interesante así que dedicado a probarlo.

This a local restaurant we visit regularly. We've been going back over the last ten years so that should tell you something! Pizzas are excellent, freshly cooked in pizza oven and pasta dishes are really good quality with fresh ingredients, steaks etc great too. Home made desserts delicious. Service ALWAYS excellent. Lovely to visit for all occasions with family and friends. Highly recommend.

Momento is easily one of my favourite restaurants, I'm never disappointed when I come here and I've always recommended it to friends and family. The food is wonderful, the service is great and the staff are always friendly, accommodating and make sure you have a great evening. Momento has to be one of my go-to restaurants, they have a wide range of dishes to suit everyone. I'd highly recommend coming here for a wonderful meal!

We've lived in Northfields for years and finally got round to visiting Momento after so many people had recommended it. They weren't wrong! Food was superb and the staff even better. The chocolate orange hot chocolate finished off a brilliant meal. If you're after Italian food with authentic pizzas I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I eat here quite frequently and have never had a bad experience. The food is lovely, the service is great, and the restaurant itself is relaxed and has a lovely ambience.The food is always fresh and tasty, I highly recommend the swordfish and chocolate calzone! Also there are a range of dishes for vegetarian and gluten free.I must say though, the staff are great. They are always very friendly and attentive, even when the restaurant is packed. They are very knowledgeable about the food and wine and their suggestions are always good. All of them make a real effort and go beyond to make sure you have a nice experience.I highly recommend going to this place, it's perfect for family meals, intimate occasions or even solo! They are now open on Sunday's too which is even better :)10/10

My partner and I called prior to attending and we were told we do not need to book a table as there was one available in 20 minutes. We got there were quickly sat at our table. However when our food arrived the waitress put it on our table and didn't ask whether we needed anything else. Considering I was having pasta I wasn't even offered any parmesan. Secondly, my partner then has to get the staffs attention to get pepper which was again just placed on the table. We were not once asked our food was or if we wanted anything else at all throughout our time there. Then when we raised our concerns to the waitress she said we have to speak to her as there's no manager. Upon telling her she seemed like she was in her own world and had nothing to say. We live walking distance from this restaurant and would never ever return. The food had no taste and the service was terrible.

We took guests to Momento last week and were very pleased with thestandard of food and service. As well as the delicious first course one of us had pizza and the other three had a variety of main courses which were excellent.Would highly recommend. Patricia L.

Efficient service by very friendly staff.Have very good sharing boards for starters. The menu is not too big but has a good variety of dishes. We enjoyed excellent steaks, pizza and vegetarian options. I would definitely return. The homemade desserts were also very nice.

Had a wonderful meal here with my family and a colleague from France.Service was great, quality of good was brilliant.They made a real effort for my 7 yr old son. We tried this place out without booking on a Tuesday evening and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and the food. The decor is simple but pleasant and staff attentive and efficient. Main of ribeye steak with chips was exceptional - a very good price of meat with just the right amount of marbling. Great peppercorn sauce and outstanding chips. My son had a pepperoni pizza, which he rated as the best he'd ever eaten and I had the blue cheese & walnut gnocchi along with the goats cheese salad. Both really good. For desert we had the shared plate and a lack of tiramisu & decaf coffee were made up for with replacements and desert on the house! Needless to say, we will be back.

Always a friendly welcome in this lovely local Italian. Great gluten free pizzas. Children can chose from half size portions of the main menu. A lovely surprise today when they spotted that we were celebrating birthday and came over with a complimentary delicious desserts for all:))

Took my mum and some friends there,ordered some sharing starters which was really tasty and chef send us some lovely garlic bread on the house as well.For main we had seafood platter and pizzas,,we surprised by pizzas which was even bigger than plates and real Italian style,,some roast cherry tomato on vine top of my margarita,,simplybest choice for pizza in Ealing,,enjoyed everything,,,

Decided to try this restaurant, now that Terracotta has closed. My partner and I were greeted by a friendly waitress and seated at a tiny table next to the front door.He ordered the quail entree (not boneless, as the menu states) and I had the scallops (very nice, cooked well). For mains I had the spaghetti gamberoni (very bland, lots of sauce) and he had the fettuccine fungi (delicious, al dente). Only half the meal was good, hence my rating of 3/5.

I came here a few days ago as my girlfriend had recommended it. The first time we came, it was closed (FYI - they don't open on Mondays), so we said we'd come back. Not being the biggest fan of Italian food, I was apprehensive. My only mind blowing experience of Italian food was in two restaurants I visited in Venice, so this little restaurant on a modest, quiet, neighbourly Northields high street had a bit to live up to. Being a big lover of garlic, I ordered their garlic bread for starters. The bread was fresh and delicious! I could have had it for a main as well.My main consisted of prawns in a garlic and tomato sauce (initially it was meant to have white wine in with it, but I asked to have this removed and to have extra garlic - much to my girlfriend's amusement!), which was okay. I'm not a huge lover of overly tomatoey (not a word, but hey) things, but it was nice and the prawns were plentiful. I had previously examined a menu online for this restaurant as I'm notoriously fussy AND a pescatarian, so I wanted to ensure it had something my fussy self would like. I thought I was examining the new menu - as I had read reviews about people saying it changed when it came under new management - but when I got there, the original main that I wanted wasn't actually there. So the prawns with spaghetti was a second choice, but I'd have it again.... maybe with less tomato sauce thrown in.For dessert, I had the apple and almond tart - minus the raisins, which they were kind enough to remove - which is apparently home made, and apple sortbet as they were out of ice cream. The dessert again, was okay. It didn't blow my mind, but unlike with the main, I probably wouldn't have it again. So overall, food was okay - albeit the garlic bread which was the best I've ever had! My girlfriend had been there a few times so she's always happy with the food and gets the same thing all the time. Food was priced fairly though and portion sizes were good.Service - we were served by two waitresses. One who seemed a bit blase and low on volume and energy and her counterpart, who was lively, easier to hear and more attentive and smiley. Based on her alone, great service.Ambience - it was cosy, romantic and well lit.Last gripe though: The air con was turned on towards the end of our meal making it incredibly cold (despite the fact we were sat near to the kitchen)! And we had more cold air to venture out into afterwards, so maybe they were preparing us eh!

We came to this restaurant to celebrate my friends birthday and we had a lovely time. We had some delicious food. I really enjoyed the chorizo and aubergine puree starter and my friends had the calamari and bruschettas which were also tasty and well made. The menu had plenty of choice and I had a steak wrapped and cooked with parmaham which was made perfectly and full of flavour. My friends had the thin pizzas which looked and smelled delicious so I will definitely be back to try them. At the end of our meal the waitresses surprised us with a plate of 4 different deserts for free as we're celebrating a birthday which we thought was a very kind gesture. The chocolate fondant with melted chocolate in the middle was my favourite and is said to be home made! I can't believe I've never been to momento before! The food was great and the service was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely recommend and will be coming back here more often!

We visited Momento recently for my husband's birthday with our children and their grandparents. We had the anti pasta sharing plate which was very generous with good quality cooked meats, mozzarella, bruschetta, olives and roasted peppers. The pizzas for main were large and had thin, perfectly cooked bases. Grandad had calves livers which he said were very tender with a great flavour. We were all full by the end of the meal and had decided we wouldn't have pudding but without knowing this the kitchen sent out two taster plates, one with tiramisu for the children, the other with tiramisu, pannacotta, ice cream and a chocolate sponge from which a lovely melted chocolate filling flowed, this was rounded off with gin and tonic sorbets. These were all on the house and completely unexpected. What a great way to encourage people to return which we will do soon.

We came to momentos for a family dinner. The menu is fairly simple but with enough choice to suit most tastes. Between us we had pizza, pasta and fish dishes. It was all good. Service is good and the decor is pleasant, the prices are reasonable so what's not to like. As we finished our mains the waitress said the chef would like to offer something to try on the house. We said yes and soon afterwards a platter containing five desserts arrived, really delicious and how generous. We will definitely be back soon.

As an American in London I am most often disappointed in the institutionalised pizzas you find in the chains. Momentos is a one off and it's pizzas taste real! No problem designing your own.Garlic bread is full of flavour and crispy and the goats cheese salad is big enough for two. We go 2-3 times a month. The waitresses know us and remember how we like our food prepared without having to remind them,they are attentive and a joy.It's not around the corner but certainly worth the drive.

I had the steak for main which was cooked to perfection followed my the pannacotta for dessert. My favourite and I was not disappointed. Also very reasonable on the wallet. Will definitely be coming back again.

My friends and I often go here and we have never had a bad experience. The pizzas are absolutely amazing - full of flavour and always tastes authentic and fresh. My favourite is the DeNiro and the Momento Pizza. Recently we've been getting the dessert assortment to share at the end of the meal. It's so good, it's gone in a few minutes! Its busier at the end of the week, but the atmosphere is great and relaxed.I would definitely recommend this place as the food is tasty, it's reasonably priced and the waitresses are very friendly and attentive - they always make us feel welcome. Very happy with this restaurant!

We live locally and eat in this restaurant very regularly - the pizzas are delicious, really thin and crispy and with nice toppings - my favourite is the tre gusti - perfect if you like goats cheese. Then there are loads of pastas and also lovely meat and fish dishes. The calves liver is also a favourite - beautiful meat and delicious french beans done in a very light batter. The desserts are also very tasty. Altogether a perfect local Italian - always welcoming and lovely good quality food and service.

I visit Momento most weeks, if not to eat in then to takeaway.I love the food and have tried many of the dishes without being disappointed! my favourites include the goats cheese salad, grilled mozzarella and the Enzo ferrari pizza which are all full of flavour. They have recently changed the menu and have added some very nice dishes including a yummy chocolate pudding which my other half ordered seconds of last time we went! All the dishes are very well presented and the chefs clearly put a lot effort into the food they prepare.The waitresses have always been extremely polite and friendly to me, my family( including my 21 month son) and friends (who enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much they have returned with their own families). They always have a smile on their face and are very attentive. I will continue to return regularly as it is definitely my favourite restaurant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it (which I regularly do anyway!)

I have been going to Momento on a regular basis for many years and absolutely love it. The recently updated menu has much more vatiety to offer now and having tried some of the new dishes I would highly recommend it a try. All the dishes are offered in children's portions as well. The food is always delicious, and the staff are very acommodating and pleasant. 10/10!!!

Having moved to the area a few months, we had been meaning to try out Momento and so wanted it to be great. Perhaps we should have had the pizza as the real pizza oven looks like it would make a good one.The place was empty bar one other table of two. The quail dish was so bland and uninspiring. Two pieces of spatchocked quail which were cooked too long so were dry, not seasoned and lacked flavour, with some fried potatoes and a salad. You can cook this at home in 10 minutes. A sauce or even a squeeze of lemon on the quail would have added something. There is no thought in the creation of the dish and no thought to flavour, texture or technique. Come on chef.My wife's pasta was simply a basic tomato sauce with a handful of small prawns in it. Again, a lack of flavour and very simple to make. Even adding a few dried chilli flakes and some basil would have improved it. The pasta was not homemade and was dried.With so few people in on a Wednesday night the two waitresses had nothing to do, it still took too long to get a bill. The other lady not serving us sat behind the bar on her iPhone laughing out loud at something that was evidently really funny. Not a good impression. If it was my business, the restaurant was empty and staff were being paid I could probably come up with some jobs that need doing.I really hope this place does ok. It's tough to run a restaurant but you have to try harder. I did mention the issues as you should to be fair, however the waitress just said ok and walked off.

My wife and I have been here for sit in and take away several times. I have to say, I wasnt so impressed with the main menu on offer, but the pizzas are very good indeed.

I ordered the jumbo prawns here and they were really big and delish! Would def come back - just for them!

We were thrilled with the fish as we are non meat eaters. Excellent Calamari and the Sea bass for mains was fresh and tasty.Highly recommend this restaurant. Its relaxed, easy and the staff friendly and professional.We had a delicious dinner.

We went to this charming Italian restaurant for dinner and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional place to eat in West London. The menu is wide so everyone can choose. Pizzas looked great (also gluten-free versions available!) but eventually I chose a sea bass fillet accompanied with delicious grilled vegetable and potatoes and I can say it was one of the best fish I ever had! As a dessert I had a chocolate fondant which happened to be the reason why to definitely come back to Momento!

A personal favourite and a restaurant I frequently return to as the menu is so appetising! Recommend the T-bone and Fondant!

Liked it so much that we went two nights in a row. Don't get me wrong- this is not a fancy do like a Mayfair place but it is the perfect (& better than other) round the corner Italian and better than any chain in England. Great service too. 12.5% a bit cheeky though for service, albeit I would have paid that without being asked but prefer to make that call than be told. P's had the gnocchi for starter which is so fluffy and beautiful. And apparently home made -lush! Wood fired oven. And linguine / pasta are all freshly made and delicious!

We've been coming to this delightful little corner of Northfields for a few years and it has always been a great little treat, though lately they've just upgraded their menu and it's much more up market. The new menu is really varied and Tasty. Seafood is tender and great, and the mushroom tempura is a crispy, creamy, and delicious appetiser. The steak is always perfectly cooked, and the waitresses are attentive. If you're planning on visiting of a weekend evening you should book ahead as the cosy atmosphere of the place fills up quick.

This super Italian restaurant has a nice feel to it, the atmosphere is very comforting and warm. The food is flavoursome and fresh. The service is very good and welcoming. We have not had a bad experience yet.

After being closed over Christmas, they've come back with a new fancy menu. I had the halibut and the tempura mushrooms to start - both were delicious. I noticed they also have gluten-free options, so I might try the pasta next tine.

Excellent Italian food with a nice local feeling, the service is always pleasant, homely and with a vibrant and noisy atmosphere on the weekends. What I like the most about this place is that they offer a nice Italian dish but with a more modern touch, you cannot get the normal carbora, lasagne or Bolognese. I love this place, it’s one of my favourites in Ealing.

We are,regulars of this little place in Northfields, big fans of their pizzas!!!!!!! Nice place to take the family for a meal, good price, good service.

I have just reviewed the Food Standards Agency website and it looks like Momento was inspected again by the Council on 20 Nov 13. Regrettably they awarded them with a 1 start (major improvement necessary) again. I am grateful to the FSA as it stops me putting my family at risk from restaurants with poor hygene.Momento I am really disappointed by you - please get your act togther.

I do not accept your reasons for your 1 rating - The FSA scores on the doors describes your food hygene as poor. If this is incorrect you need to sort this out soon - i truly hope your business survives.

I've been here twice, mainly because it's so local. However both times to food has been consistently ok, it was nice, nothing special hence the 'average rating'. However I feel this restaurant is better than terracotta down the road which other locals will know. At least the flavours go together here. I think this place is nice for a weekday meal, but maybe not for occasions.

Went there with a couple of friends and had a couple pizzas and a salad to share. Everything was nice enough, but there was nothing that special about it.

After reading the article in the Ealing gazzete I took my kids for pizza in this little restaurant in Northfield Avenue. The pizzas were excellent and although they offer only 12" pizzas, they can serve a smaller sized pizza for kids. The ingredients were fresh and in the exact quantity. The service was very attentive and they accommodate us a early table in what appear to be a busy Saturday. The service was attentive and fast. This place should consider to open for lunch over the weekend and do delivery as we live in Brentford. Definitely I recommend it!!

I use to go the restaurant all the time until I spotted its food standards agency rating of 1 = major improvement necessary. I ask you how bad must the hygene be to get a 1. Really annoyed i exposed my daughter to this place.

We live 2 minutes walk away and it was our first visit. We were extremely disappointed. The ingredients weren't fresh - the 'hand cut' potato wedges were frozen, as was the calamari. We had the 'house' starter, a pizza and the sea bass but basically everything was tasteless. We ate as much as we could, realised how awful it was, then complained. Our initial waitress had fled (it was half 10 by then, on a Friday night) so we were left with with the (albeit lovely) Andrada. She said she was brand new and wasn't sure what to do. As we had eaten we said we would pay but disputed the 12.5% service. She did not know how to discount the bill. There was no manager to talk to so we asked to see the head chef who did not come out. We were given the mobile number for the manager, which we rang but it rang out. Andrada confessed the service charge went straight into the till and it all went to the restaurant. Why this is not just built into costs is a mystery. We ended up refusing point blank to pay service and gave cash tip. Have been left with a thoroughly bad taste in our mouths and will not be back. The management have a lot to answer for and we do not recommend!

We went to Momento on Northfields Avenue, on Friday night; had never been before. We had calamari starter, which was delicious, nice and crispy. We all had different pizzas, and we were all pleasantly surprised, as they were all absolutely delicious, and bursting with flavour. All the pizzas were thin and crispy base. Even the sorbet ice cream was fantastic. The service was very good. Price wise it was very reasonable; sparkling wine at £13.50 was incredibly reasonable!! They do add on a 12.5% service charge. My only slight criticism was that the fuller the restaurant got, the louder you had to speak to each other!! It's not a huge restaurant. Will definitely go back again, and intend to use them as our local pizza takeaway service in future. Would definitely recommend to others.

This place took about 3 years to open, so i think it's pretty funny it's called Momento. Whenever I pass it seems to be full of kids with red goo all over their faces. I tried the pizza a couple of times a year or 2 ago. Crust was nice and thin and toppings ok. Not too much cheese. But I don't eat much pizza and the pasta dishes left me distinctly unimpressed. So easy to fix this kind of thing at home without all the extra salt, oil etc. Every time the service was amateur and forgetful. Maybe it's better now, but I can't be bothered to find out. If I were you I'd head to almost any other restaurant on Northfields Avenue.

The food here is always excellent as is the service and atmosphere. The pizzas are thin and crispy and very tasty and the pasta is fantastic. I particularly love the antipasti to share too. The service is very friendly and informal and it has a lovely neighbourhood atmosphere. All in all I couldn't recommend this restaurant more.

Eaten here quite a few times and get takeaways regularly. The pizzas are really good and just how I like them - some silly stuff on the pizza menu imho but not as silly as some! There should be a Napoli on there, to save me asking for a margerita with olives, double anchovies and sometimes capers.. What let's the place down is a lack of bonhomie and atmosphere - if it had those it would clean up. It needs a smiley host type - someone who gets to know the regulars.

This looks to be a rather 'simple' reataurant on entering, as there are no 'frills' but don't be put off - the food is good - especially the pizzas. Certainly the best I've tasted (and I've had a few!)The staff are efficient, friendly and if there ever is a problem, they are quick to rectify it.The only negative is that a 12.5 percent service charge is added to the bill.However, I recommend it - a good evening out!
