Best katsu curry! I’m not a big fan of the dish in general but the one this place makes is my guilty pleasure- thin crunchy breaded chicken, perfectly done sticky rice and the most perfect sauce! Nice simple miso soup too! Orders always come on time, mostly even early! Too bad they have not been taking deliveries for a few week now?! I’m so gutted we can’t get our fav katsu curry!

The order come wrong, I’ve ordered a vegetable spring roll and had a dumpling instead. The dumpling was too oily and had no taste a part of oil. The menu is not clear on the ingredients and the way the food is served, like boiled or fried, has mayo or not...

Food was over half an hour late; driver completely missed our block of flats and wandered off in the opposite direction, didn’t ring us at all, and didn’t show with the food for another 10 minutes. We then got a phone all from the restaurant to say that the driver was outside. We notified them that there had been no knock. We then looked outside and the driver was at a different block of flats over the road. Food was then cold when we opened it (no wonder, given how late it was and the 10 minutes outside!). Quality was okay but nothing special. I don’t think we will order again,

Have ordered a few times from this restaurant, and I’m willing to accept things aren’t always great as a one off, but after repeated low quality portions and this time being sent not what I’ve ordered.. I have to say I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, especially after I called them to try and resolve the issue.

Used to come here all the time can honestly the say the food has become very downhill. The staff are constantly on their phones and don’t provide good care especially when eating inside of the restaurant. Also the place has become very dirty and everything is everywhere very unorganised!

Usually have no issues and the foods always great but tonight's was 20 mins late, my squid is bearly lukewarm and there are no chopsticks... lucky I have a set lol

Food is not fresh, made unprofessionally, chicken was too dry and overcooked, sushies are in poor quality, especially salmon. Gyoza was OK.

The food was never delivered and just eat refused to give me a full refund so they charged me when no food was ever delivered. Just eat provide no protection and have no quality control on the restaurant, so it's far safer to order delivery directly from the restaurant. I will never use this app again.

Great sushi just a shame about the delay with the delivery

Food took 1hr 30 to arrive, prawn tempura was cold & soggy. Grill duck was very tough & dry. Ordered the seabox and the sashimi pieces were almost like small pieces of fish that should have been discarded but wasn’t. Overall, very disappointed. I don’t usually leave a review but this had to be done. Hope you guys fix up on this

Katsu curry sauce was watery, chicken was mushy. Tempura was soggy and all food cold. Took 1hr 45mins to be delivered. Have requested a refund. Will not be ordering from here again.

Did not have one type of dumpling, gave an extra portion and spring rolls to compensate. Great service

Ordered from here in the past and thought food was nice. Ended up having to collect due to long delivery time. One of our noodle dishes came plain so when we called up they weren't very apologetic and didn't know what to say. Requested them to remake and bring the correct food. Disappointed this time round

Used to eat here every few weeks. Good table service by the female staff (Uni students) and friendly place. Alas, the students left and were replaced by family members who are either annoying and overbearing or completely indifferent. The place is now visibly dirty. Most importantly, the hygiene rating used to be 4-5, and now is 1. This is a poisoning waiting to happen. We won't return. A shame, because the main chef / owner was passionate about sushi and the fish was fresh.

Ordered takeaway for the first time today from this place and was not disappointed. The sushi is fresh and the salmon fillets were succulent. Ginger, wasabi and soy accompaniments and good portion size. Very impressed with the quality. Would order again.

So i entered, and was taken back by the bare and uncared for look of the restaurant for starters. followed by music playing from one of their phones, and people sitting around for what i can only assume was waiting for delveries to go out. Meanwhile, other phones are on charge balanced on chairs around the business.There was a group of asian people in there( dont know from where etc) which is usually a good sign of things, how mistaken i was! the sushi and quality of the fish seems good, and service was quick but my order was taken by a young lad who didn't really know the menu, seemingly had no or hasn't been given any customer service training or maybe doesn't fully grasp English im not sure. I ordered Miso soup, a platter of sushi and katsu chicken curry along with a diet coke( which he brought me coke and after a discussion of clarifying if due to being diabetic it was normal or diet he took it back and poured me a fresh diet coke from a can and did apologise i will add!) and some warmed saki. The miso was not very nice and had no seasoning, and seemed to have been mixed with some kind of stock that took away from the basic element of what its meant to be, i didnt have much more than a few sips. The sushi platter, looked nice although im not sure why i got some dry iceberg underneath the strips of tuna and salmon. the sushi platter came quickly but with no ginger wasabi or soy sauce for at least 5-8 minutes. The chicken katsu came last on basmalti rice?? and with overcooked and or at best cooked in dirty oil so although the chicken remained somewhat juicy the exterior was dry and over fried. The katsu sauce came on the side, which was at best luke warm and tasted like packet sauce maybe at best with a bit of spices thrown in in some attempt make it vaguely "home made". severely disappointing would be an understatement as i have heard good things about it and finally took the time to go in there and try it out. Settled my bill after being just told a price to tap my card on with no indication of what things costed, or if i wanted to tip or anything else! He did come over after my sushi course to ask if everything was ok and up until that point it was.

We ordered a takeaway and although we are out of their delivery area they agreed to deliver it :) The food was lovely, really fresh sushi! Great choice of food and good value!

Having used this restaurant before and used to their late delivery - the last order means I will never again. an hour late, hot food delivered freezing cold and sushi missing from the order. when restaurant were called they couldn’t care less and simply offered a future discount if I bought directly from them and not via just eat.

Totally unexpected to find such a high quality restaurant in that area. Food was amazing, staff were superb. Excellent value for money.

Ordered a takeaway for 7.20 as we would be putting the babies to bed - the food turned up as I was bathing them at 6.30pm, the driver then did not believe me about the time we ordered for until we physically got the laptop and showed him / while trying to hold babies in towels!! - he finally agreed to call the restaurant and walked off then just got in his car and left without letting me know what was happening - i called the restaurant and they said they were redelivering at 7.30. it is now 7.45 and it has just turned up - the experience has been a nightmare considering the reason for preordering was to save the hassle knowing I had to get the kids to bed! Absolutely Useless!

Sushi, dumplings and katsu all tasted great. Sushi rice a little mushy and katsu rice not sticky but still good and better than expected for a sushi delivery

Rice was overvooked and make sushi really soggy. Tuna sashimi tasted like it was off. Chicken was ok but overall I did not like it.

the food from this restaurant was absolutely amazing. I’ve ordered twice and it’s never disappointed. The chicken katsu curry tastes exactly like yo sushi and you also get rice with it which is what I wasn’t sure about at first. I also ordered the spicy pepper squid which was really nice. My food didn’t come late or cold and was more than enough for my and my girlfriend.

Meat overcooked. Rice dry (and basmati rice?). Beef sahimi was more like overcooked rump fat strips! Duck more fat than duck. 90% went in the bin. Called to discuss with the restraunt and was offered only a discount for my next order (won't be ordering again). Told me it may be my fault as it had been an hour since I had ordered and it may have turned bad (couldn't have been very fresh to start with if it had!) Advised I would have to call just eat as I wasn't prepared to pay for food I hadn't eaten. The restraunt were called by just eat a few times and refused to discuss my complaint about the food. Absolutely awful experience from start to finish (except for the delivery which was very prompt). This isn't nice food and definitely isn't authentic Japanese. And ignoring all of that they don't care much for customer service either. Don't waste your money folks. You'll be disappointed 😞

Food came on time, it was fresh only criticism is that the chicken was slightly overcooked which meant it was a bit dry. Still lovely! (Chicken noodles). Sushi was very tasty, would defo use again. Need one closer to me!!

I've tried a few sushi takeaways and this one by far tops them all! The donburi salmon was superbly cooked (sticky rice would have given it that extra edge) the mixed vegetable box is delicious. I'm already looking forward to my next meal!

Temakis are a good portion, hairy prawns are really big too.

I pre ordered my food for 19:30 and the restaurant extended delivery time by 5 mins which was fine so imagine my surprise when my order is delivered at 17:35. I thought the point of pre order was so that you can have it for a time that suits you, when the food arrived the hot food I ordered was warm veering more towards cold

I'm a student who lives nearby and I come to misumi for dinner by myself every one or two weeks. I love the sushi rolls and seafood noodle soup. Stuff here are very nice and friendly all the time. The price here is so cheap comparing to other Japanese sit in restaurant. Would definitely recommend it for a sit in meal.

Food came quickly, all piping hot and tasty. Delivery driver was pleasant as well.

If you love sushi then you will LOVE Misumi. Great to have there or to take away. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. You can even watch them make it fresh for you. It's also great if you love fish and your partner/ family don't as they have many other tasty options. The wings are fab but you must try the soft shell crab. I can't recommend this place more. Go on treat yourself, you know you want to. Xx

We have ordered several takeaways from Misumi and overall had a mixed experience. The sushi in general is very good quality. Fresh, very tasty and good value. However certain aspects of it unfortunately let this down. On a few occasions we have ordered hot food from here and this has been disappointing. The quality of this is average, the hot food feels like they have not put the same care and attention into it that they do into the sushi and on every occasion we have ordered it the hot food has arrived either lukewarm or cold. The restaurants delivery times are also very poor. On every occasion that we have ordered we have had to wait over an hour for our food and on the first occasion we ordered it took them half an hour and several phone calls just to find our address. It is a shame that the good sushi appears to be let down by this restaurants attempts to do far too much. If they are going to offer a takeaway delivery service this needs to be efficient and keep the hot food hot. The menu is diverse but it is just the sushi that they do really well, I think that it would be a far better proposal if they just offered very good sushi and didn't try to do other foods to a lesser standard for the sake of having a diverse menu. This could be a very good takeaway restaurant, and indeed is the only sushi takeaway in the area leaving it in a prime position. Great improvements to the delivery service are also required. Unfortunately we have been let down too many times by this restaurant to be ordering again, which is a shame as with a few improvements we wouldn't hesitate to use it regularly.

The food is so so delicious and the sushi is clearly fresh, the delivery time was far too long (2 1/2 hours) and we were continuously misinformed on the whereabouts of the food. Once we expressed our frustration however, they eventually did their best to make amends. In future would rather be told mistakes had been made, rather than kept waiting with vague promises: To be fair, the food was excellent-would definitely order again, just probably not on a weekend.

I normally order from this restaurant. The staff are nice. Delivery has been late a few occasions even though I live less than 5mins away, if that. But it's worth the wait Everything was nice including the sushi hand rolls BUT the miso soup tasted like water no doubt it was watered down not impressed at all

There were three things we ordered missing from the order once and only realised once we got home. Beef stirfry was too watery and just tasted like gravy... rice was also missing from this dish even though it says on the website it came with it.

Order came a little late because it snowed but they were really apologetic and not many restaurants would drive to you in the snow!! And food was delicious AS ALWAYS! Still can't find a sushi delivery place as good as misumi!!

Usually order from here and it's very good. However the last two time we have ordered the food quality has been very poor!!! First order we had ordered a chicken katsu. We got the chicken but no katsu sauce. No plum sauce with the duck dumplings and the chicken rice had no flavour what so ever. Second time we ordered which was yesterday 1/1/17. Our chicken soup turns up and neither contained the noodles which they always have. This is not the cheapest place to order from so to now have two orders where the food has been very poor is not good enough. Will probably not order from here again as quality has massively reduced!!!

Delivery time set back 30 minutes by restaurant, still late by 7 minutes after that. Called restaurant and they were neither particularly apologetic or keen to correct the situation, as an added insult the food was not only cold but also not of any kind of standard to make up for the multitude errors before consumption.

The sushi was beautifully made and tasted so fresh! Also had the katsu curry and duck noodles which were really good. Great delivery time too, really impressed.

Ordered food at 7pm it said my order should be here at 7.50pm it then said it had been delivered by 8pm after contacting them they said they would ring the driver but heard nothing from them until ringing back again. They said the food should be delivered within another 15 minutes. The food did not arrive until 8.30pm. They said they would charge me less but had already paid online and that the driver would give us £2. Received nothing !

Delivery was on time, but unfortunately the food was poor. Nothing was authentic about this place at all. For the prices i paid for my meals i would not expect freezer food. Nothing was fresh. Vegetable tempura and Veg spring rolls were greasy n full of oil. They were definitely not fresh inside, just a funny texture and oily tasting . My noodles were plain and had no flavour, vegetables again seemed like they were from a freezer, really bland and there were no herbs used for even simple flavouring and my cucumber sushi rolls came weirdly warm and all of the pieces were fallen apart and the wasabi was like blu tack. Typical over priced LAZY food from these kind of places that claim to do everything fresh, very disappointed when you spend all this money and could've done a better job your self for less than half the price. WHERES THE PASSION GONE? JUST EAT YOU SHOULD TRY THE FOOD BEFORE PROMOTING FOOD LIKE THIS.

As a sushi lover, I'm always very pleased with the quality of the food, especially how fresh the raw fish are served. The service isn't great but food and quality make up for it. Would recommend if you like Japanese food, and should try the sashimi!!

Have ordered sushi from Misumi on a number of occasions and it has been great and such good quality. On this occasion I ordered hot dishes and they were cold and not very nice. Real shame! Would order again but only the sushi.

The food is amazing and the staff are incredibly friendly. This is a hidden treasure of south London. Excellent value too. What more could you want? Try the black pepper beef, it is superb!

I don't have much choice in cuisine that I can get delivered. Only found the Greenwich branch this evening. Good selection of sushi, sashimi and hot dishes. Very good value, fresh and delicious. All for £20

Firstly driver decided to park halfway across my neighbours drive and the pavement, entirely blocking the pavement and wander across her drive to get to my door. I ordered sweet chlili sauce and got mayo. Hairy prawns were not nice. Sushi was ok not great.

I have eaten hear so many times over the past few years and have never had a bad experience! The food is of top quality, tastes amazing and so fresh every single time! 10 out of 10!

My partner and I ordered this for delivery for a Friday night in having picked up takeaway from here many times before. First, it took nearly two and a half hours to arrive - we called them 4 times and were told it was 15-20 minutes away each time. When it did arrive the hot food was cold, the tempora prawns soggy and the hoisin sauce missing. The salmon roe was possibly off. A favourite has been ruined and we will not be returning. Waste of money.

Disgusting, worst sushi I have ever had in my life. salmon sashimi not fresh, thin and poorly sliced, gyoza cold, fish on the rainbow roll cut poorly and half was missing! the rice used around the rolls was so thick and mushy. To top it all off the prawns in the prawn Katsu roll were raw, called restaurant to complain and in fairness was told they would send another but was so put off by raw prawns and delivery time was ridiculous. After initial refusal was told "no one has ever said my sushi is bad what else do you have to complain about" awful sushi, awful gyoza. What a waste of money. Will never order from here again!

we got a £36 worth of sushi delivery, and unfortunately the rice was overcooked hence the whole meal was wasted. The sashimi didn't feel fresh either; very disappointed as this is our only local place on Just Eat for us to get a sushi takeaway. A total waste of money..

The food was absolute delicious!

Great sushi, great service, good value, great portions. We eat a fair bit of sushi so feel quite qualified to say when its good. We enjoy the occasional visit here instead of heading into town or using a chain when out shopping. I think the inside out rainbow or whatever it was called, was so nicely presented, and such a great portion. Overall, a nice place, always surprised why it isn't busier and sometimes see the same faces so it has a following.

I was very excited to see Japanese Restaurant open near where I live but when I stepped in there was no Japanese chef or waiter/waitress. They served Basmati rice instead of Japanese rice which makes it difficult to eat with chopsticks. Sushi is not fresh, not professionally made, they use Japanese rice but the rice is far to wet. Not impressed !

Ordered a home delivery. Waited 1hr 55 minutes. No apology from the delivery man, nor an offer of discount for the extreme lateness. The Food was cold. The food was bland. Would highly recommend NOT using this place.

So I've made a £40 order and I'm still waiting 3 hours later... Not impressed by the service at all. I've called them a numerous amount of times and have been constantly told its "on its way will be 15 mins" and they had run out of rice. I've decided this year I shall send them a clock for Christmas as they clearly can't tell the time and the difference between 15 minutes and 3 hours. I'd love to tell you about the food quality but well...I haven't received my food yet, we are considering on calling it a day and open a box of coco pops and head to bed.
