An absolute diamond in the rough. The staff are always very friendly and attentive, full of humour and kindness. Their menu is, for the dishes I have eaten, delicious and well portioned. Love the Mango Milkshakes. We're likely now in our double digits of visits to collect, sitting in next visit we hope. Keep up the good work.

Miss Ying's really shows what can be achieved in a small space. With a condensed but varied menu, packed with fresh whole ingredients, cooked with very obvious skill and passion, this place is easily the best available locally. Even things like the spring rolls and prawn toast are elevated, and the satay sauce is amazing! I'm here for work, and genuinely gutted I won't have food like this to takeout back home. Sure, there's the usual Chinese/Indian/kebab takeouts, but aren't they just a bit... predictable? I feel like it's the same food wherever you go in the country. I guess for many that's part of the appeal, like McDonald's, and that's okay! But for those perhaps a little more adventurous, seeking out real fresh and light food, the kind that's completely delicious and full of flavour, and you don't feel bad about your life decisions afterwards? It's gotta be Miss Ying's!

Fresh, cosy, feeling of home, super serivce minded and great food! We are travelling thorugh and very happy we found this place to eat!

Don't be put off by the outside appearance of the building .. the dishes we ordered were perfectly wonderful, not overcooked, spicy but not overpowering and with a generous amount of chicken, duck and vegetables. Great service, great value for money ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a small family run business from what would have been an old high street shop - we do not know the family personally apart from eating in and Regular takeaways…… all I can say is that having visited and experienced RN ail and multiple times - we have ate most things on this menu & do not have a complaint - it is what it is

The Thai takeaway was a huge dissapointment. Nothing like Thai food at all. The duck was rubbery, completely tasteless, like it had been heated up served on loads of cabbage with a watery sauce. My husbands chicken curry was awful, with hardly any chicken and a whole onion covered in green curry sauce which was very unappetising. All in all, the worst Thai meal we have ever had and we will not be back.

Delicious food and a varied menu. Great options for vegetarians. Excellent value. Looking forward to our next visit or takeaway.

We had a delicious meal here on Saturday night , so glad we had booked a table in advance , it was so busy with takeaways people coming in and out , expertly managed by the cheerful staff , it's a wee gem , a restaurant, shop and takeaway in one , we had four dishes, spoiling ourselves,each one fresh and tasty ,so nice and individually seasoned and flavoured, we will definitely go there again ,even though it's 150 miles from home!! And also very reasonably priced ,no wonder it was busy

We have used Miss Ying's every weekend for over 4 years. It was closed for a month of February 2023 - OK they deserved a good holiday but it has not reopened and I am GUTTED. We have been spoilt as we have tried most of the other Chippers, Chinese and Indians in Dingwall and Evanton over the past two months and they are dismal in comparison. BRING BACK MISS YINGS

Traditional Thai food. Spicy and very tasty. Chicken satay, Tom yum and red curry were all delicious and as good as in Thailand, but still very reasonably priced for the UK.

Visited on a quiet Thurs evening , had a chat with the staff and ordered. Wow ! Fantastic and fresh Thai food exceptionally well balanced taste and just the right amount. The rice was beautifully cooked and fluffy and sticky , the sea bass was great with the three spices. Definitely a hidden gem with very friendly staff and very reasonably priced.

A very enjoyable meal. Part shop part restaurant but worthwhile stop. Always a good sign to see locals popping in to take food away too.

This was my first take away from here. The food was superbly spiced and incredibly tasty. Also the prices were very fair. A really crisp and fragrant tast to the food with just the right amount of spices. A fantastic meal.

Specifically chose to drive from Inverness to taste the Thai food here after reading the reviews. Total waste of time. Chose the Thai beef salad what a mistake it was no more Thai than I am. The starter was very mediocre and lacking flavour. Definitely will not make the short journey again. Staff was very nice.

We had dinner for 2 on a cold Thursday evening. The restaurant is also a takeaway and has a good sized menu. There were several specials in the board too. We started with Tom yum soup, then two of the special curries and a noodle dish. The food came with rice included. It was fragrant, spicy and piping hot. We finished with banana and ice cream which was a perfect end to a lively meal. The lady who worked there was lovely. She was chatty and made sure we had everything we needed. After living in SE Asia for 15 years and moving to Dingwall its great to pop to this little restaurant. The food is very authentic even if some of the ingredients are changed out for what is available locally. Great little place but make sure you book a table as the restaurant is very small.

This a little shop and Thai restaurant hidden down a side street, I found it by accident. They have a good range of Thai dishes on offer as well as selling Thai ingredients. The prices are very reasonable and you can even get a glass of wine. The food is hot and very tasty, if you like Thai food give it a try.

If you like thai food you will love this place. Plenty choice on there menu, freshly made. You can sit in or take away. If you fancy going ,best to book as it isn't a very big place and it can be busy.

Miss Ying's is a Thai take away that includes a small shop selling Thai foods and a few tables if eating in. There was a good choice of fairly priced items on the menu. Waiting staff offered friendly advice on the spice levels of the food. Food was freshly cooked, piping hot and well presented. Really enjoyable. They offered a range of drinks too including Thai beers. As there are so few tables, I'd recommend you book before you go!

This may not be the plushest of restaurants- think more ‘cafe’, but great atmosphere and wonderful food! All five of us enjoyed our meals, great service and very reasonable pricing. Only one choice of dessert, but this was also delicious (banana fritters with ice cream). We will definitely return.

Have been going here sice it opened and always liked the food, however, the last twice has not been good, especially the meal from a couple of days ago - I bought a pork dish with fish sauce in it - all I tasted was chilli, far too how and no other flavour, what a way to treat food, especially meat, it seemed to be thrown together. Perhaps they are getting too busy/money too easy. Whatever it is, it's disappointing. I won't be using it for a long time, sadly, I do like to support small businesses, but not when they don't seem to care about the food.

We’d read the reviews of this place, and as usual all the favourable reviews were backed up by our experience. We had a 7 month year old with us, and the lady serving us was fantastic, friendly and did all she could for us.

The dining room on ground floor holds about 16 people and Miss Ying (the real person) cooks in the kitchen above. She makes very good Thai food.

i have now been here a few times and love the food and priceing is fair nice and friendly wether you opt for a carry out or sit in youl love the food here but if your sitting in best to book one thing to watch is food can have a bit off a kick so if your want it a bit tame speak to the staff but if your in dingwall weather its a carryout or sit in you shouldnt pass it by

We eat here everytime we come to Dingwall about once a month. Never had a bad meal sit in or take out. The girls that work there, nothing is too much trouble and always attentive. Keep up the good work.

We went last night. See a review in the ICA mag, from Inverness. Looked good so Googled photos of the food, which looked great. And it was really nice. Only small restaurant so booking is needed. They only take cash but a machine is close by. We had the sharing starter for 3 of us. More designed for 2,but I shared my bits with my mum, who didn't want too much to start with. The dips were lovely. A bit of every starter. Mains are very reasonable, in fact everything reasonable. Mum had chicken and noodles. Nice small pieces of chicken. Me and Alan had duck. One red curry and other with more of a kick, green curry. The duck was lovely and crispy. Only one sweet but creamy ice cream with a honey banana fritter. Only do bottle lagers and red or white wine at £15 a bottle. Can bring own with £3.50 corkage charge. Will definitely be going back.

We have been eating here for some time, but never got round to doing a review. The food here is fabulous and as close to eating in Thailand as you will ever find. They also sell a number of Thai food products that we regularly use. Great value and even better food.

We popped in on our way to Halkirk. There really was not much restaurant further north so we took a left after the bridge and went to Dingwall. We were pleasently surprised to find this nice and welcoming Thai restaurant. The food tasted fine and it was perfect for a lunch.

Well done guys. One hard working waitress tended to our needs. Four of us ordered starters and mains. The food was well priced, on time, hot and delicious! Great job 👍

We have eaten here once and the food was great to takeaway. The spoiler dishes had good levels of spice and the more mild dishes which I chose to have had good flavour balance and weren't bland. The food was ready and hot when we arrived to collect. We will be back.

Went at lunch time and there was nobody there staff wise I waited for at least five minutes before the waitress appeared from upstairs and there was another two tables sat down beside me by then no big issue there just a bit strange I felt like I’d broken in !! However I went for the food and it was delicious and definitely worth the wait the lady that served us all apologised for the wait and was really friendly throughout the meal and done really well in looking after everyone . I’d recommend here to anyone looking for a lovely meal at a great price excellent food and service . Only one thing I’d say was I asked for soy sauce and I don’t think that’s what I got it was inedible for me

Visited with my son early on a Saturday evening and was lucky to get a table. Terrific food and the staff are really helpful. Will most definitely be back the next time I'm in Dingwall.

This place is amazing, I have been there so many times and every time the meal has been at least a 9 out of 10. Been with my wife and in groups and the service is always A+. I have been through quite a few things on menu and have liked them all however I would say the Dragon Duck is the best meal on the menu which the wife tends to have. Of the top of my head I can’t remember what I had last time but pic is of it and is number 8 on the menu.

Returned here for dinner after eating here a year ago. Tasty Thai food in a lovely welcoming restaurant. The waitress was so friendly and remembered us from a year ago. She catered for my children well when I asked for specific options. She also did me a vegan option that was not on the menu. Would definitely return again

On a cold and blustery night, after a long day of touring, this little cafe was a much-welcomed surprise. The food was great, the service was friendly, and the prices were really affordable.

Lovely little Thai cafe & shop. A decent menu, friendly service & great food. I had delicious soup to start with then beef yellow curry with rice. They slow cook their beef & it was the most tender beef I think I've I've ever tasted.

This is a delightful little eatery situated close to the shopping centre of Dingwall. Reasonable prices and very nice food - all served with a big smile.

8 or so tables 4 empty , I was told reserved I would have to do carry out. When I went back 2 more tables empty ! Got back to the room nothing to eat with and no napkins. The rice was a good portion the curry shrimp was ok but few shrimp.

We managed to secure a table at the last minute at Miss Ying’s. The waitress explained that could have a table at 6:45pm, but they would need the table back at 7:50pm. I was happy with that arrangement, so duly headed there.

Wij hebben hier, tijdens onze vakantie in de Highlands van Schotland, gegeten. Zeer mooie smakelijke gerechten. Sfeer, bediening, prijs-kwaliteit ..... het is allemaal dik in orde. Het is wel zinvol om vooraf te reserveren. Een regelrechte aanrader!!!
