Mint Masala in Neath Port Talbot

Absolutely the best Indian restaurant, been every week for a month whilst working away and it's the highlight of not just mine but everyone's week.

Lovely meal for 6 of us..Great service, given space and time to enjoy our food.

Well worth the wait, best curries in Neath by far, and they always put the effort in 10 outta 10

Ordered a takeaway rang my order through in advance on arrival my order was ready the restaurant was very busy with both sit ins & takeaway orders the staff despite being busy were polite friendly the food was hot & plentiful lots of chicken in my curry it was so tasty & fresh will definitely go back there especially as the food is so good & the Sunday buffet is excellent shall be visiting Xmas Eve for a pre Xmas treat

Once again a great meal, and the staff are first class. We were a group of 8 and everyone enjoyed. Will definitely be back.

Food allways first class .waiting time is not so punctual sometimes but if the food is good you would wait .

I was recommended this place by a friend at work so I had to try it. And we wasn’t disappointed the staff we’re very friendly the place was very clean and a good atmosphere. The food was amazing and you get loads at a great price omg we we’re absolutely stuffed. Lovely evening thank you so so much

We Was in the area and had to give this restaurant ago !! And we wasn’t disappointed… I had a spicy steak masala and rice which was cooked perfectly I also had keema Nan which was not to dry and freshly cooked my partner had chicken tikka and garlic cheese nan and really enjoyed her meal !! They have a good selection of food and drinks and would most definitely recommend paying them a visit .. the service is also top class !! Will be back soon … A++

Had two or three meals from here now and each one has been poor. Ordered a madras, and it come back mild and very watery. Won't be returning. Much better places in neath and surrounding areas

Great food! We tried take aways from Mint Masala many times and we love it but now we had great time going out for a dinner in Mint Masala. The food is great and service is excellent. Highly recommended!

Food very good , but was totally left down by the service. From the moment we sat down, we were rushed. One guy serving, also had bit of an attitude, hence why we only give a 45pence tip . Our bill was over £100. Not sure I would go back because of this .

Fantastic food and top-notch service.

Being new to the area I ordered a takeaway meal from the restaurant. I was given a time to attend and arrived a little early. The staff were professional and curtious and my meal arrived on time. The meal itself was excellent, full of flavour, authentic and excellent quality. I have no doubt I will be ordering again in the future.

Good location, you can park right outside. Hadn't booked but staff accommodated us readily. Very friendly and very efficient, too. Very varied menu but few vegetarian options, other than a note saying the vegetable side dishes could be upgraded to main course if wanted. The specialties were good, could have been spicier, but that's probably my taste. Very good value for money.

My wife and I thought we would give this restaurant a go for our 10th year wedding anniversary. I most say the food was fantastic, the food was very well cooked and the service was fantastic, we just walked in without booking. Was busy and we only had to wait 2 minutes for a table. It really is good value and was shocked when we received the bill so I gave a good tip 😁 will definitely go there again.

Quick service with great quality food. Accommodating staff, the chicken makhani is my favourite. We always get a free pickle tray with our take away orders, which they also do 10% off for.

does not look like much from the outside and location but really good! good service and great flavours. a few of the curries tasted similar but the prawn puri was sumptious. and large portion sizes!

We had a lovely sit down meal at my son's request for his birthday. Our first time, as usually we have had take away meals from there. Lovely atmosphere, great food and excellent service. Really made my 15 year old's day.

The mint massala has new owners and sorry to say food is not the same. We had a takeaway last night which is now sitting in the bin. Sadly we will not be returning.

Visited here for a family members birthday meal.. would definitely come back on my own! The food was beautiful (I had chicken shakuti) and the customer service was great. I’ve ordered the same dish from other places since and none of them have beat here :)

I’m torn between what was better - the food or service and I seriously can’t pick because they was both on par with eachother. Even though I went there to order food as a takeaway, The staff were soooo helpful as I’m always undecided as to what I want, The waiting time for my order was was respectable as I could see they was extremely busy, And the food was to die for 🤤 I will be returning soon, Outstanding, Keep up the good work 👌🏾

Just had to write a review tonight as the meal was first class. It was in celebration of my Partner's 50th birthday, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would like to thank you all so much, we will definitely be visiting again soon xx

Had takeaway 10+ times over the past year and they have been really good everytime. Food isn't full of grease and each dish tastes fresh. Very friendly service and delivery timings are spot on.

I received a voucher from parents of a local rugby team for coaching their children however I noticed it had recently inspired, I was not able to go prior due to me isolating from the ongoing pandemic! Nevertheless I rang Mint Masala and explained my situation and a friendly, empathetic voice reassured me that they would extend the voucher! I used the voucher there and then and yet again the food I ordered was amazing with a quick service and safe collection point! I would highly recommend Mint Masala thank you guys and have a Happy Christmas!

I've been here a couple of times now and I loved it both time. I'll definitely be going again! My girlfriend loves it too and has been even more times than me.

What can I say firstly it was following the Co-Vid rules. All staff wearing masks.4 of us fined here tonight.The food was fresh piping hot and super fresh ingredients with all dishes really tasty.Good selection to choose from.Will definitely be returning, Staff we’re brilliant and nothing was to much for them.Very warm welcome 5*

Been here quite a few time’s. New owners took over pre lockdown and have done a bit of work in updating the decor. The food is spot on had three meals in last few weeks, all different, all excellent. New owner has really added to why was an already good place. Social distancing measures are the what I have experienced as well.

100% a 5 star service. Quality, tasty food and staff go above and beyond. Staff measure temp as you walk in and respect social distancing etc but in a positive way not an overbearing way. The nicest tasting Indian meal I have had for such a long time as agreed by all our party. Staff were very polite and go above and beyond for you making sure everything is up to standard and if not they will make sure they can do all they can to make it better. Overall, such a pleasant experience and would recommend to everyone!

Had an amazing buffet for 4 adults and 1 child. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious and filling and it was great value for money. The hygiene standards put in place during covid are also very reassuring and staff are constantly cleaning and are wearing masks.

Despite being regular customers their service and food during lockdown has been extremely poor and despite us contacting them personally regarding the issues in order for them to resolve things, they clearly have no regard for customer satisfaction as they have done absolutely nothing.The first issue was the food being very late due to them taking more orders than they could clearly handle after reopening and barely offered an apology.The second issue was waiting hours for a meal that was specifically asked to be made Madras hot. What we had was a meal that had absolutely no spice at all and ruined our evening. This was relayed to them via Facebook and all we had as a reply was telling us to call Mo at the restaurant the following evening! Given that we had spent 20 minutes the night before trying to get through on the phone we certainly weren't going to waste another 20 minutes trying to get through when it is their responsibility to get in touch with us as the problem is with the food they are serving paying customers.We gave them a chance by asking them, again via Messenger, to get Mo to call us as they were at fault. Not only did Mo not bother calling us but the message wasn't even acknowledged.They have therefore proved that their customer service means absolutely nothing and what matters most is their revenue.We really didn't want to leave this review as we are long time customers and did our absolute best to give them every opportunity to address the issues but sadly they couldn't be bothered so we have been left with no other choice.All this could have been avoided by way of a courteous phone call from Mo but they clearly don't care.Poor food, no resolution and zero customer care.

The best Indian in the area! Only downfall for me is that sometimes the food can be cold when you get home, and only live about 2 minutes for the takeaway

Delicious food nice atmosphere not rushed staff very good

Lovely restaurant with fantastic service, great prices and delicious food. THey squeezed us in last minuite as they had a charity evening on (we hadnt prebooked) grateful to thsi as had chosen to meet friends that evening, we are normally very orgnaised in booking tables but just didn't think to do so for here.
