Good pasties and friendly staff, they have a good choice including three vegetarian, one vegan and a sweet pasty. If your hungry it’s a worthwhile stop.

Just revisited my favourite pasty shop since restrictions were lifted. Once again, excellent service from friendly brilliant staff. Choice of pasties as usual was amazing. Don't miss out on making this a regular visit. Love it. Bob Dover - Highcliffe

This is just a generic pasty shop the likes of which you find in every town and railway station across the country. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing that special about it either. Surprised it gets a listing on TripAdvisor as a restaurant - will people next be listing Gregg's as a restaurant option on TripAdvisor?

I visited Mines a Pasty almost every day while working in the mobile repair shop in Lymington, and the staff always made me feel welcome. It was always love to stop by at lunchtime and have a catch up with them.The pasties themselves were always delicious, and always something I looked forward during the day.My only regret is that I ended up having to move away and don't get to visit anymore!Highly recommended, especially when it's cold!

Popped into Mines a Pasty on Friday, a miserable rainy day ion Lymington! We had a hot medium traditional pasty which was absolutely wonderful. I just can't understand how anyone could criticise this place, friendly service great hot food and at a very reasonable price.

We had 2 meal deals - mexican spicy pasties, raspberry pasty, coffee and a mocha. Savoury pasties were filling, not too spicy and warmed to perfection. The raspberry pasty was delicious cold. Very good customer service. Thank you

We walked past this place and couldn’t walk past without buying a pasty’ The menu choice is fantastic and it was so hard to choose.We went for lamb and mint pasties with apple and raspberry pasties for a sweet treat .Would recommend this to anyone!

This place believes in working to their strengths. These Pasties are simply deelishus. Piping hot and perfectly cooked with plenty of choice. Nice friendly service too and a decent price. Highly recommended.

OMG the best pasties.We live 19 miles away but will drive all the way to get a pasty from this place.Lovely staff, great selection, always piping hot with devious ingredients . Can't go wrong with the traditional Cornish but i am trying all the others also. Was gutted in lockdown as they were closed. If you are visiting this beautiful little town, grab a pasty & walk 5 mins down to the quay to eat it.Thank you

it serves great fresh pasty go and enjoy, a large selection to choose from, we had a standard pasty but the choice was great

as regular visitors to Lymington we have bought pasties here many times. Recently the quality seems to have significantly nose dived. My 'large', £4.50, pasty today contained less than 6 tiny pieces of meat , ( I was looking for some to give to our dog!) and relied on pepper for flavour. The fillling in my husbands was not much better. Suffice to say we will no longer recommend this shop , and after today, you have lost our custom.

Popped in here for a fabulous traditional pasty and an apple and raspberry pasty with a couple of cups of coffee, the man serving was a joy to chat to, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch

Wow, huge pasties and a great choice of fillings. Warmed us and filled us up. Lovely!!!.... Would benefit from more seating a such a desirable little place.

We had delicious pasty's for lunch; lamb & mint and chicken, leek & bacon. There's a little terrace at the side of the shop with a few tables. It was lovely to sit outside & eat in the sunshine. A lovely respite from walking & shopping.

We had a Chicken and Chorizo plus a regular Cornish Pasty. They were absolutely delicious and very good value especially when considering the meal deal option including hot drinks. The service was very good as well.

Great little shop with free drinks refills if you are hanging around town. Everything you would expect from a Cornish pasty shop

High street position and eat in or take away. Fabulous pastry round the best pasty to be had with excellent, large selection of fillings and different sizes. Don't go anywhere else you won't be disappointed. We never miss the opportunity to visit.

We bought three pasties one lunchtime to takeaway. Staff were pleasant if not engaging. We managed to mix up two of the pasties - our fault - but it took three bites to work out which flavour was which - steak and stilton or chicken, bacon and leek -which I think sums up the experience. The pastries were warm and the pastry good texture but the fillings were a bit mediocre - certainly no distinctive pieces of meat or outstanding flavours. Nothing wrong with anything - just not as good as we might have hoped.

Winkel in Highstreet met heerlijke kant en klare comestibles. prima taartjes en sauseisen-achtige broodjes, al dan niet om mee te nemen. Het geheel doet denken aan een Franse dorpsbakkerij

Quick bite with coffee. Basic outside space, but products delicious. Helpful and friendly , more take away than cafe . Worth a try tho.

Popped in again this month for a pasty and thought I’d try a sausage roll as well absolutely fantastic, I ate the sausage roll cold a few hours later can even cold it was the best sausage roll I’ve ever had, also worth mentioning that fruit pasties are amazing hot or cold

Popped in for a Cornish pasty to eat later. Was piping hot and still nice and warm inside when we ate them an hour later. Nice mix of meat and vegetables , meat not chewy , vegetables not overcooked. Recommended

I travel to Lymington quite often and try to visit different eateries and cafes.

Enjoyed a lamb and mint pasty, hubby had the steak and Stilton. Really appreciated the fact that we could sit outside the shop. Filling and delicious!

Was in Lymington to pick up a few bits whilst on holiday. Noticed this shop and though pasties might make a good lunch. Chose traditional, cheese and onion and (on recommendation from a local) cheese, tomato and basil - ALL very tasty but the cheese, tomato and basil was the winner from both the veggies and the meat eaters. We will be back for more when down in the summer. Nice, friendly staff as well - what’s not to love?

Nice little shop on the high street. Couple of tables and chairs inside. Pasties were hot and very tasty. Also sells vegan pasties and free from sausage rolls

Absolutely fantastic sausage rolls pasties and fruit pasties are gorgeous. One of the only places where ever eaten them cold and they’re just as good cold as hot

For our time in Lymington this was one store we all loved, everything we tried was great. I wish I could have them sent back to Australia.

On our frequent visits to Lymington we usually call in here for a traditional pasty and a fruit pasty which are both delicious and it seems very common in these parts to grab a pasty and go down to the quayside to eat it, making sure the pesky gulls do not nick it out of your hand! Nice traditional pasties and although a little bit pricey they are good quality.

Delicious and good value for money. Definitely worth a visit. Friendly service and good quality food, it makes a nice change from grabbing fish and chips on the go. Recommended.

Very friendly and a variety of pasties to choose from which all looked delicious. I had a chicken and chorizo one which was spicy but lovely. Would definitely return if in Lymington again.

We found lovely veggies pasties of all sorts in this great little pasty shop. Even a vegan pasty! The two gentlemen serving were really helpful and had a good selection despite it being late in the day. Highly recommended!

Stopped for a spot of lunch. Lovely man serving, and really tasty pasties. We both had traditional, and a cup of coffee each. Sat outside in the little courtyard at the side with our dog. Would recommend for a lovely light lunch.

We grabbed a couple of warm pasties to take home for our tea (no cold available in the flavour we fancied). OK but disappointing really - we expected something amazing for a shop specialising in pasties. We chose steak and stilton and they tasted very odd. Lots of cubed potato and onion and very little meat, though the pastry was nice. Perhaps we chose badly? Anyway, once was enough for us.

One very wet August Bank Hol Sunday! Ventured in to town for a few beers with eldest son. Needed something warm and tasty to eat. Went in to this café. Warm welcome, great choice of pasties, invited to eat at seating area - a very pleasant experience!

We have been here a few times. There is a good range of pasties and the prices are good value. There is some outdoor seating as well which is shaded.

Was in need of both a caffeine boost and a tasty snack before embarking on the arduous trip to the Isle Of Wight. Mine's a Pasty fitted the bill accordingly - basically a take away with seats (some outside - which was useful) - the pasties are on the large size and as tasty as they come. I had a steak and stilton, my wife went traditional, both filled a gap, coffee was good too. Friendly and efficient service - what's not to like...

Not a long review, if you love freshly baked pasty this is the place to go!! Have a great selection toon and reasonably priced. Really nothing left to say - we love them !

Fabulous, yummy and great choices, really fancied a yummy dessert pasty, wasn't disappointed as always, the staff were great and friendly and it was just enough to fill your tum happily.

Great place to go for a nice pasty snack. They have a really large selection, just about everything one could imagine would go in a pasty. I always go for the traditional though. Its a really nice little place at the end of the high street near the cobbled street down to the quay. If you park in one of the large car parks on Canon street then you will virtually walk past it if you are visiting the town quay. Just go 30m up the hill on the high street and its on your left

This charming little shop has been in the town for a few years. They have a large variety of genuine hand made Cornish Pasties that are made within the Protected Graphical Indication (PGI) of Cornwall. They are high quality and satisfying. Steak & Stilton is the best!

Had a couple of pasties whilst on holiday. A good selection to choose from. Took some home to The Midlands at the end of the week. Yummy and great friendly personal service. We shall certainly return when in the area again.

It was our first visit to Mines a Pasty and we would definitely return! A great selection to choose from and they are totally delicious. We were drawn to this café by seeing the sheer amount of people going in and out. It is obviously very popular and I understand why!

These pasties are amazing. We tried the lamb and mint ones - gorgeous crispy and light pastry and gorgeous filling that was so tasty and really meaty.

Just happened to walk by in need of a coffee when visiting the area. Once in you instantly get the smell of pasties and you just have to have one, even though it was not yet lunchtime! My partner and I opted just for the sausage rolls with our coffee, but I have to say they were freshly made and tasted perfect for a quick bite on the go. We also noted that the coffee was particular nice, so it gets our vote.

This is a pasty shop that sells lovely Cornish pasties. Good selection, good quality. What's more to say!

Having walked around Lymington, it was time for a quick snack, the selection of pasties was good, went for a hot sausage roll, it was very good. Friendly staff, good value.

We stopped for a coffee after walking around Lymingtons Saturday market. It has a lovely selection of pasties. The man behind the counter was friendly and the hot sausage rolls were very "yummy". There is seating outside which is set off the main pavement area.A good place for a quick "pit stop".

Excellent pasties, different varieties, seem expensive but they are large with generous fillings and the quality is superb. Whenever I go to Lymington I always stock up for me and my business partner.

We were visiting Lymington market and passed this shop which was full of people. After going up the high road and back down again we went into the shop which was still busy. We had a chicken and chorizo which was nice and spicy and a large traditional which had lots of filling.Highly recommended

Loads of choice of fresh pasties that are just about cool enough to eat. We had the traditional which was perfect and accompanied by a cup of coffee. Just what we needed after inspecting the street market.

Quick coffee. Nice man served us who turned out to be one of the owners. Made use very welcome, even though coffee is not his real business. Pasties smelled great!

Great atmosphere int his tiny shop. The pasties were world class, my husband had the Lamb and Mint and I had a Traditional. Both had plenty of meat and were great. The tea was served in a nice mug and was equally lovely. Will visit again.

I love pasties, so it was a "no brainer" for me, but my wife caught a sign saying "croissants" and although he'd run out, as we were eating in, he cooked a fresh one just for her! That's what I call service.

Feeling a bit hungry so popped in for a pasty (lamb and mint). Owner runs it. Good Service. Sat inside as it was drizzling outside. A proper pasty - really enjoyable. Didn't know it was there but will grab one next time in Lymington.

We had chorizo and chicken pasty each. There was no chorizo taste do hardly any chicken. It looked quite yellow and creamy inside and we thought with the spice taste may be curry flavour. It tasted OK but definitely not chorizo and chicken .

We bought pasties to go while wandering around Lymington and really enjoyed them. There was a good selection to choose from and the prices were comparable to other similar shops. I had the chicken and chorizo and my husband had steak. They were both hot and delicious and the crust was flaky and tasty, not heavy like it can sometimes be on a pasty. Very nice!

we were on a day out and walking through the highstreet when we came a toss this lovely cafe/ shop, we could smell the gorgeous pasties, pies etc as we were walking toward it. we just had to stop and have a coffee each and a pasty/ sausage roll. We had our dog with us, so we sat outside in the small but adequate courtyard which luckily was in the shade as it was a very hot day! The staff were friendly and efficient , and our pasty and sausage roll very tasty. well worth a visit!

Lovely smell of freshly cooked food as you walk in. Had the traditional Cornish pasty and it was delicious, the best one I have had outside of Cornwall. Lots of very tasty filling and lovely pastry. We ate inside, which admittedly was small, but the food and the cup of tea were perfect. Really friendly staff too. We will definitely return.

Nice outlet. Disappointing lack of much else than pasties and a few canned drinks. The pasties are good and reasonably priced approx. £4.

I am one of those grammar fanatics and am happy to report that since my last review and correspondence with the owner they have now added a correctly placed apostrophe to their name. A queue indicated that this is still a popular shop. However as I am now on a gluten free diet I didn't partake of a pasty but 10 out of 10 for taking note of ctiticism and correcting the name.

Very tasty pasties. I had a steak and Stilton which was moist and very hot! We also tried the chorizo and spice flavour which was spicy as it said - had a good kick to it. Good value too.

We were drawn in to this place by the wonderful smell of pasties which looked great. However, there was a very tiny area to eat inside, and it was too cold to eat outside where they had a number of tables. Would like to try this place on a nice ( warm ) day.

We had a cornish and a steak and stilton, both were very nice. The chaps serving were also friendly. Only slight grumble is the place inside was a bit of a mess.

I have been to this little restaurant for the second time ın 8 years needlesly to say that qualıty of the food and frıendly service was top of the lıne. a wonderful hostes wıth plenty of knowledge.Congratulations.

If you can't be bothered to get spelling and grammar right on your shop front, which you have forked out cash for, then in my opinion you probably don't take much care of your food either.this rule generally works. Too many weird fillings, thick oddly orange pastry, the kind of thing you would eat if you were very drunk and it was the only place open. Lymington's equivalent of a dodgy kebab. Except in Lymington you can't get any food after 9.30pm. Best avoided.

Not a good pasty at all. Would not go back here - it smells wonderful but the taste let it down. Such a shame.

i have been to this shop and i found the sevice to be very professional and the pastys where fantastic i had asked the shop assistant for the ingredients the looked in the book they had i told me every thing that was in the pasty great sevice will use again thank you . so i disagree with the last post

We are local and use various fast food shops on the high street.Today we came in to get various pies and drinks to take to beach for my sons birthday.The young lady behind the counter was so rude and so unhelpful I shall never be returning... I very nearly handed everything back due to her rudeness!May I suggest you send her on a customer services course.

Stopped for a quick lunch, they had a few tables to sit at, but I took mine away and sat near the Quay. They had a good selection from traditional, cheese and onion to apple and raspberry. All were priced reasonably and tasted delicious. Much better than your average chain shop. Would definitely go back if passing by.

It was raining and we needed to find some lunch without spending a lot and where we could take cover. A pasty seemed the right solution and this little establishment towards the bottom of the High Street has a couple of tables inside where you can eat your purchases. The menu was wide enough to accommodate our dietray requirements and there were even more than one non-meat option. The pasties themselves were well made and tasty and served just at the right temperature. Will definitely be returning!
