This place is rich in charm and so much love and attention to detail has gone into the decor, service, drinks and the pizza is just perfect Can’t recommend this place more ! Having left it a bit late to book a restaurant in Tenby due to recent COVID restrictions, our wonderful host at Elm Grove B&B St Florence suggested this little pub. We were fortunate to get a table for 2 and had a great hour or so enjoying fabulous pizza (in fact, possibly the best pizzas we had tasted!) and a couple of drinks. Although the menu was limited to a handful of pizza options (catering well for vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters!), the food was delicious, the atmosphere buzzing and the staff friendly. We wish the owners well with their new venture - they deserve every success. In short, if you like pizza and a relaxed COVID safe setting, do check the Milton Brewery out!

We were staying near Carew and someone recommended the Milton Brewery Inn to us, and we were so happy to find this lovely old Pub, the owners had only just taken over when lockdown started, and are still in the process of renovating this old building, but the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and friendly owner and staff have already made this a really lovely place to visit. A selection of local Ales and Cider, and good wines were on offer, and the Pizza's were absolutely divine - really, really good. We went back again later in the week because they really were superb. I can't recommend this place highly enough, and I am already looking forward to the next time we can visit.

On a recent visit to Tenby the town very busy, not all the pubs had the appearance of being Covid secure and very few were suitable for a spontaneous drink.Found the Milton brewery inn a few miles was open for walk in guests, tables well spaced and some outside space. There are new owners here and I really hope they make a success of this project. They serve pizza in the evenings ( not tried) they had a small selection of prepared rolls for lunch, which were delicious. Home made cakes and coffee were also on offer as well as real ale and the usual selection of bar drinks..Really friendly and welcoming owner and a friendly local to offer advice about the weather. The outside appearance of the building is a little run down, but renovation is in progress. The bar areas have been given a make over and feel bright and modern whilst retaining the character.Popped back for a second visit for afternoon drinks.

Ate here twice while on a trip to Pembrokeshire. All the staff were so lovely as were the other customers. It's under new management and I really wish them well in these very hard times. The menu at the time was pizza only. I'm not a pizza fanatic plus I'm vegan. They made me a vegan pizza which made me come back and eat there again the next evening. I could imagine the place would be cosy in winter too. It has a real local feel. The staff took time to welcome and remember customers. If I'm in these neck of the woods again, I'll definitely make a beeline for this place.

I used to go to this pub when I was about 7 years old I am now 29 with 3 children of my own. Keen to relive a little of my childhood we decided we would visit here for food on the last night of our holiday. We arrived to be greeted with a sign which showed bar to the left and dining to the right, we proceeded to enter into the dining area as we knew we wanted food. We noticed a table which had a reserved sign on but found a available table which I got my 5, 3 and 1 year old settled. My husband went to the bar to collect a menu. Whilst I was sat at the AVAILABLE table I was abruptly approached by a lady who said ‘sorry you can’t sit here it’s booked, you have to come to the bar first!’ I was taken aback by her rude tone and apologised and began to remove my 1 year old from his high chair. There was absolutely no offer of finding us another table despite me clearly having young children and being hard for us to move them around to different places and nowhere at all was there a sign to say that we needed to go to the bar to be seated!!! My children were very disappointed and we decided to leave and go in search of somewhere else to eat! I am still so annoyed at this experience, I remember it being such a lovely, friendly and welcoming place to go and no way would I ever recommend anyone to go here. I was willing to buy food for the 5 of us and feel this was completely snubbed. Appalling!!

We called in at lunchtime and were absolutely delighted. There is a car park round the back, which is useful as the side roads are narrow. The interior is traditionally cosy and comfortable, as a family pub should be, and the welcome is very friendly. There is a small well-stocked bar. Of note is an excellent range of non-alcoholic beers - great when driving. There is a good choice of food, including a blackboard of daily specials, but for a change we ordered pizzas. Freshly made and delicious, these rank with the best we have ever had, and that includes the USA!This pub is definitely worth a visit.

The menu was a little limited if you were eating here this amount of times and even more limited for the vegetarian options but the food was nice (although the chips were very dry and tasteless). Advisable to book a table as it can get very busy 2 of the nights we were about the only ones in there and the other 2 nights it was extremely busy. Went here a few weeks ago with my family. We were sat by a young lady but there were no menus on the tables and no one came to take our order for around 10 minutes. It was either beef or pork. They were the only options. When asked about a vegetarian option I was just stared at as though I was talking wet and told they only had vegetables. We asked could we order drinks and were told we had to order them at the bar, not a problem but why take half the order and the other half at the bar. Very strange way of doing it. Nice food but I wouldn’t rush back and the young lady seemed to be doing everything from clearing to taking orders to doing desserts. Very unorganised. Seems like a very “local only” place. Will most likely not return.

Not sure if the roast potatoes were extra crispy from being left in the oven to long or deep fried, minimal amount of veg provided. All in all the roast wasn’t TOO bad. However then waiting around 35 minutes after ordering our puddings they finally arrived, five of us had a selection of the puddings between us, all poor. None were finished. This is apparently Eton mess, a bowl of whipped cream and around five raspberry’s? No meringue? No ice cream? No coulis?... I’ve had a lot of Eton messes in my time never one this bad! Had beautiful food on Friday evening, excellent value for money. Landlord and his wife were so welcoming, as we were staying local we decided to book again for the Saturday, was met by a very regimental woman who was so bossy towards the young waitress it was cringeworthy, quite a rude woman and not suitable for working in that type of environment who relies on the paying public, food was ok second night but not presented as good as the Friday. Sat in the bar after food but different set of people, rude, swearing and one drunk man was even breaking wind and stinking the place out, we were mortified but the "regulars" thought it was hysterical. Spoilt our evening and left earlier than planned, was such a shame as we had such a great evening the night before. Perhaps it was taken for granted the landlord wasn't there.

Called in for an evening meal on way to Tenby. On the plus side they allowed dogs in and the barmaid was pleasant and friendly. The menu is very limited. Gammon. Steak. Fish and chips , burgers, pies. Prawn salad. A selection of potatoes and sautéed mushroom, tomatoes and onion rings. I asked if I could have grilled tomato as didn't want anything sautéed and enquires as to potato selection. An enquiry with the chef can back as " the tomatoes are sautéed and the potatos are chips". I opted for a bowl of soup. The others had Scampi and a burger. The soup tasted fine - very think and hearty. The bread was stale. The burger was in a hard stake bun. The ketchup was sour according to our daughter. The chips were the most unappealing colour and very greasy. The scampi was greasy and unpleasant. We left our meals and headed off to find food elsewhere. We didn't complain as we felt awkward and unwelcome. To be honest we are very easy going and have never posted a negative review before but this was really dreadful. I couldn't possibly recommend this place to anyone.

If you have visited thus beautiful, charming pub previous to August 2016 and are expecting a similar warm welcome and good quality fare, then read on.We should have realise when we walked in and our table hadn't been reserved despite being booked several hours ahead what was in store. It took about 10 minutes to get a drink with only 1 person behind the bar. Then after some debate as to if we should stay or not, we made the grave mistake of ordering food, and ordering a second drink, at which point I was told there was a problem with changing the Stowford Press cider, and it "wasn't as the bar lady thought to change the barrel", so I had to choose an alternative. The food turned up quite quickly, with my youngest daughter having fish fingers and chips, which was fine, my wife and eldest daughter opted for the homemade lasagne, which had to be sent back, as it was stone cold in the middle, and I had the gammon steak, which was very greasy and topped with a burnt fried egg, I would have had a better quality "fry up" at a greasy spoon cafe for less than half the price if that was what I had wanted, but would have liked what I ordered ideally.By the time new lasagne's appeared about 20 minutes later, meaning two of us had already finished our meals, despite being hot this time, they were disgusting and the homemade chips were hard and uncooked. My wife and eldest gave up at this point, and I went to the bar to pay the bill, and obviously complaining. After a few minutes the landlord appeared, and offered me one of the lasagne's free of charge, apologising but saying they had only been here 10 days. After some negotiation I did not pay for either lasagne or most of the drinks, but was a very disappointing end to a lovely day, and sadly we will not return to this, one of our favourite holiday dining places. For the sake of this lovely pub, I hope Basil Faulty and his crew are only here another 19 days before somebody who knows what there doing take over and give this place the quality it deserves

Visited the restaurant with family. Arrived about 8pm to order food and drink. A coke was sent back as had little syrup in it. The people sat to our right had left a considerable amount of food which was not a good sign but we had already placed our order. The people situated on the table behind us sent back a lasagne as it was cold. Alarms bells were ringing by this time. Another couple sat to our left sent back food as was also cold and again left majority of food. And wished us luck as they left.We waited an hour and a quarter for food. Three of the dishes ordered were ok but not great but the last one, fish and chips, was sent back twice for being cold and uncooked. The chef came out to say the frier was playing up and suggested we just not pay for that dish and offered no alternative. Not a good excuse after an hour and a half. Apparently the new owners took over 2 weeks ago, and it seemed no one had a clue how to run a pub. The order process was painful, the chef couldn't cook and the waitress couldn't care less. The same could be said for the management who offered no apology for such poor service but just huffed and looked as disappointed as we were.

Arrived about 6:45pm and barely anyone in the bar. Quick service and some lovely looking specials on the board so we ordered and chose our seats. Food arrived quickly and was delicious! We were sorry to hear the owners were moving on so not sure what things will be like after next week.

We were there 30/04/16 , Recognised by the very friendly owner who always has a smile on her face. The locals always have time for a chat and a bit of banter. The meal was as before first class , plenty of choice and never rush you to finish your food. All in all a brilliant place to dine and to have a chat.We will be back....

My partner and I have just had dinner in the Milton Brewery as we are staying in the caravan park behind. The food was really tasty, big portions and fairly priced. We can highly recommend the steak and the fisherman's pie, both were delicious! The portions are so big we had no room for pudding (which is unheard of!)Our meal was around £28 with two soft drinks. We will definatly eat there again.

We had a two o 'clock slot for Sunday lunch. Had time for a drink before hand. The lady at the bar was attentive, beside being very busy. Our lunch was served promptly by a very courteous young lady. The beef was extremely tender. We were staying at Milton Bridge Caravan Park - a few hundred yards walk. It seems the pub may close in May - that would be sad.

We stayed just up the driveway from Milton Brewery for the Valentine's weekend and it would have been a sin not to have popped to the Milton Brewery for a meal the first evening. We had the choice of normal menu or Valentine's meal however as we had a meal booked at a hotel elsewhere for the following night which would have been the 14th we opted for the main menu. The lady behind the bar was real welcoming, had a lovely chat with her and she was very attentive when it came to decisions on drinks. We sat right next to the open log fire which was amazing with it being February and slightly chilly outside, Lovely to warm next to. Although we did move after we'd eaten seen as we both had rosy cheeks by this point Our meal certainly wasn't disappointing, we both had starters and a main meal one of which was the Thai green curry the other a lamb shank where the meat literally fell off the bone. We absolutely loved the menu selection and our choice. Thank you ever so much Milton Brewery. We loved the food, the setting was gorgeous with the log burner, light music in the background and a good choice of ale too which my other half was more than pleased with.

Really pleasant welcome on a cold and windy evening. Just 5 minutes after our arrival the fire was lit and we were enjoying the warmth. Menu is a good combination of pub classics and more varied dishes from the specials board. Great value for money.

Visited this pub a few times while on holiday when we stayed at Milton Manor. Very friendly pub, great food & beer. Got talking to Charlie one night, very friendly, funny guy. The sort of pub you can get comfortable in, especially with the real fire roaring away. The barmaid (sorry don't know your name) helped us out by giving us vouchers for the local attractions. Can't wait to visit this pub again.

During our holiday to Wales we ate here because of its good value, but we were surprised as it surpassed all expectation. We had not been recommended and the interior a little dated, but the welcome and service was warm. When the food arrived our plates were clean in no time and all 6 of us decided immediately to book again for 2 nights time.

We ate here on Friday 14th August for dinner whilst staying at Milton Bridge Caravan Park - even though they had no notice of 12 members of a (rather jolly by the time we came to eat) Samba band, the staff went out of the way to accommodate us all and everyone, including the gluten/dairy free, vegetarians and extreme carnivores (ordering blue rump steak that arrived having being cooked perfectly and melt-in the mouth delicious).....were all very happy. We messed around changing tables 3 or 4 times and we were still served in a polite and friendly way. We are all looking forward to an excuse to come back and eat here again. Good atmosphere, good staff, good food in a lovely location.

What can I say, returned to Milton Brewery again this year for food while staying at caravan site next door. Ate there four times in a week. We arrived Sunday 9th August and had pre booked Sunday lunch. As soon as we went in we could see it was busy, in bar and restaurant. We waited while people were served drinks, then when we said we had booked a table we were told straight away that they were very busy, and we might have to wait a short while. We appreciated their honesty and to be truthful, we just relaxed and a had a drink while waiting. When we were asked what meat we wanted we were a little cheeky and said we would like half and half. Now the waitress we asked probably hadn't been asked this before as she'd only been there four weeks, and she did say she didn't know if it would be done. But, we didn't take offence, wasn't a problem but, then Sandra heard our request and said it was fine. We probably waited 10 mins before being taken to our table, to find our meals placed and waiting for us. The meal was excellent, didn't need to cut the meat it was so tender. Compliments to Jude in the kitchen. Well even though the place was very busy we just sat and enjoyed our food, we were asked often if everything was ok and did we need anything. The young lady, Lily was very attentive and helpful when explaining dessert choices. And although it was busy and people were coming in trying to get a meal without booking we never once felt we needed to hurry up and get out. So if you have to wait a while here for your food, think of it the other way, you're not going to be rushed out either. This certainly isn't Maccy D's. Anyway, I could go on about all the meals we had but, it would take up too much time. Don't let a couple of negative reviews cloud your judgement about this place, give it a try, if you have a problem just tell one of the staff so they can rectify it for you. We have always felt welcome here and nothing has been too much trouble, as a lot of the time I only want salad as my sides. Its never been a problem. We will be back again next year, hopefully with grandkids too.
