Miller & Carter in Bexley

We have been to Miller and Carter a few times, though not this particular restaurant. Friendly greeting from the host, who advised we would be served by the lovely Laura, who lived up to the name. The steak was cooked perfectly, the desserts were delicious and the service was excellent - attentive, but not intrusive, funny and engaged. Good value too, considering we had a few drinks and two courses. We will definitely return.

The food is outstanding here never had a bad choice. Service was really great and was greeted by a lovely young man

This place is absolutely amazing from food to service. I was served by a waitress called Laura. She was a really nice person. Professional and friendly. The steak sandwich i had was cooked to perfection. The meatball starter was so flavourful and the apple crumble was hearty and warming.

Lovely ambience, quality food and all with great service. I would not hesitate recommending it to others. Staff all well presented, polite and attentive.

This place. This food. THIS LYCHEE! AMAZING!!! what wonderful service a waiter cathine provided! Friendly bubbly and had great hair! 5he food was perfect and the steak drippingly good!!! Wow oh wow for that creme brulee! I'm always here for the lychee soda!! Now with vodka!! Fabulous time will always be back!!!!

This was our first trip out to a restaurant since lockdown to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were a little anxious but were very impressed by the procedures in place to help keep everyone safe. Our waitress Charlee was very polite, efficient and mindful of keeping a distance as much as possible. The food was very tasty if a little pricey (£15 for a chicken burger) for the food they serve and several items on the menu were not available including my first choice of lamb but we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

We arrived with 1 baby and 2 children. We were given a larger seating area to accommodate all of us. The food was amazing and the service brilliant. Really friendly staff. Thank you so much!

Whilst most of the food for our family of 6 was lovely and there was a lovely atmosphere at the table the meal was spoilt by our two teenage daughters being served the meat burgers after specifically asking for the vegetarian option available. One of my daughters had already started eating the burger before my wife noticed. The staff were very apologetic - however my daughter was extremely upset and this put a dampener on our family reunion meal. My parents who had arranged it as a special post-lockdown event were upset that their grand-daughter was so upset at what is an expensive restaurant. I felt bad for my daughter and my parents for how they felt at the end of the meal. General service is an issue here - what if a customer was served an incorrect meal and had an allergy? Serving meat after asking for vegetarian option is not acceptable in this day and age.I would not be rushing back.

Here with my wife for my birthday meal today 23rd August. Had the 50 day mature rump steak, the best flavoured and tender steak I have had in a long time. I have been to the Argentinian steak house and this was better. Great service and quality of the whole meal. Will be coming back for family meal soon. Katy was very good and very polite and cheerful.

We visited at lunchtime and had a lovely, well priced meal. Staff were efficient and friendly. The only complaint was that there was too much cream on the chocolate pot for our taste.

Charlee the waitress was attentive and very polite and if this review was solely for her it would have been 5* unfortunately the food was the worst I have ever had from Miller and Carter. I have not been for a few years so was really looking forward to my meal however the standard has massively gone downhill. The fillet I ordered was just a lump of fat and for nearly £30 you would expect a hell of a lot better. 75% was left on the side of the plate as it was not fit for consumption, the onion loaf felt rather soggy and mushy and not how I remembered it being. The quality of food was not to be expected for the price I paid and unfortunately this will be my last visit to Miller and Carter if last nights food was anything to go by.

As a family we have been here quite often over the years and have loved it (although slightly expensive), however I have noticed a steady decline in the service over the last few years and today has cemented my thoughts, I booked a meal to celebrate my sons GCSE exam results, I called them yesterday to ask if I could add another person onto our booking for today and was sternly told no!!! Fair enough if there is no space, but the attitude could of been a lot nicer.Today, I received a text which read as follows "Please arrive no more than 5 mins before your booking we have no bar/waiting area" then another line says "Dress code: No tracksuits/shorts, hoodies sports/work wear. Please tell all guests" then another line "Allowed time at table 2 hours from booking time"Where are the pleasantries? It could of started Dear Customer and ended with we are looking forward to seeing you, zilch, absolutely nothing, almost like the text was written by a child!!!! Needless to say, I have booked elsewhere, it is not a michelin star restaurant, the dresscode is too restrictive, most teenagers wear smart sports wear and adults should be allowed to wear smart shorts in the warm weather!Its such a shame as we have always had a fabulous meals in the past.

Had a delicious birthday meal today. Father and son had the sharing steak & ribs platter with skinny fries and I had salmon with chunky chips. Everything was freshly cooked and hot. Pot of tea was fresh and hot too. Our server Jacqui, was efficient, knowledgeable of the food and really welcoming; the lady at the check in desk was welcoming and polite too. We didn't expect much from a steakhouse to be honest but it certainly over delivered. Thank you

The place is deluded. The prices are really expensive, signs to say “dress code” then you are taken into a dining room with flys in that wouldnt look out of place at a wetherspoons. The start we had calamari and scallops, calamari tiny and rubbery, the scallops hadno flavour at all. Main meal was steak, meat was nice but was surrounded by all these weird extras- chips served in paper trays, similar to a pub. When i tipped the waitiress didnt say thanks and no goodbye on the way out.Fine dining prices, way off in terms of everything else, all be it the food was ok, i did leavewith a sour taste

Pre lockdown, this used to be a goof restaurant. . However, I booked for 3 people to go to celebrate my birthday and mentioned this in advance,.. No reference was ever made for my birthday throughout the whole meal by the staff. Also, I asked for gluten free and was presented with a very expensive menu with little choice other then exorbitantly priced food. The lunch menu was well priced but i had no choice on there at also was forced to not eat or spend a lot more money that I expected as prices had risen considerably . I felt flat and disappointed by the whole experience and will not be visiting Miller and Carter again

The food was fantastic, as it always is whenever we visit here. A couple of us shared the butcher's block which was great value, and everything on it was cooked to perfection! Out waitress Katy was really accommodating and took excellent care of us. 10/10 recommended!

We had chosen Miller and Carter as the destination for our first get together after more than a year of not catching up due to Covid and it didn’t disappoint. We were seated upstairs in a cosy booth which enabled us to laugh and chat openly. The waiter was attentive and lovely. I had long awaited a proper burger and it hit the spot perfectly, we all enjoyed our meals and wine choices. Multiple ice was delivered on demand and we shared dessert. The temperature was warm, which was the only downside. Despite the two hour turnaround time we were allowed to stay beyond 3hrs.

Nice evening out. Service was excellent and steaks were cooked perfectly. An all round lovely time. Thank you guys.

Lovely food in great surroundings, our waitress Katy was attentive and professional. We couldn’t manage pudding, but will definitely be back soon.

Visited the restaurant for a nice steak due to my partner having just given birth was looking forward to it! Was outside scanning the code when I heard the host I believe called Joe say there coming in and didn't greet us in a kind manner instead said can I help you? Immediately I felt awkward as he didn't greet me well. I told him I had a booking and starting telling me they have a dress code which I was aware off. I was wearing drawstring tampered womens trousers, he accused me of wearing tracksuit bottoms! Which I would never wear to a restaurant! He immediately judged my appearance and approached me and the situation in the wrong way. The experience put me in a bad mood and I didn't enjoy the meal I was originally excited about! There were a group of males opposite who was wearing shorts and a sports jacket which I didn't hear him quiry them! The dress code is smart/casual! The waiter and food was lovely.

Went for a lovely dinner with my girlfriend and was a great Saturday evening; food was excellent I would definitely recommend the grain fed rib eye and would have it again. I want to draw particular attention to the service; Charlee who looked after us did an excellent job; we did not feel rushed; the time given between courses was perfect and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be going back.

Haven’t been for a while because of covid. Could not fault it was greeted by a lovely blonde young man. He was fully informative and pointed out the rest rooms. The food was outstanding but I was most impressed by the phenomenal service from our waitress lily! Catered to our every need and didn’t forget a thing! Made the experience very special. Thank you lily!!!

Had a lovely meal here last night. Only negative is that the starters and portion size of the garlic bread for 1 was a lot smaller than usual. Waiter staff did seem rushed and less friendly/attentive than usual but I'm sure they are under a lot of pressure to run the service covid safe.

its always nice. After visiting a harvester the other day for the first time, its really made me appreciate Miller & Carter more, thank you for your delicious food at a fair price with nice staff please don't ever change xx

I don’t usually write a review on a restaurant I’ve visited a few times but I felt they deserved it. This was our first visit after lockdown 3 & we had a really lovely meal. I have to mention how friendly the guy in charge of meeting people at the door was. Very welcoming! Charlee was the girl in charge of our table and she was brilliant, very accommodating & she worked really hard to ensure tables were seen to in a timely manner. The food was delicious as always & we had a lovely time thankS to the great service. The only thing to improve, would have been to ensure the air con was working properly as it was a very hot day & we were a bit too hot but the heatwave won’t last long I suppose!

Staff nice and friendly i ordered cod and chips to be told no cod today as there's no gluten free batter I said I don't want gluten free waitress said thats all they do ,I couldn't believe that a chef would not no how to make a batter !, my friend ordered a calamari starter up it come two small bits over cooked was very rubbery, main meal burger and chips ok ,dessert!!!! Apple crumble tart soggy unedable, I ask the waitress did they microwave it she replied yes it comes in cooked and we nuke it for quickness wouldn't go again ,if I want wicrowaved food I will go to weatherspoons which actually is better then the miller and carter and cheaper.

We decided to go for my boyfriends birthday on a Sunday evening on a very hot day. Extremely rude arrogant staff looking him up at down saying he does not adhere to the dress code as he is wearing cotton shorts. I understand some places have dress codes, and if we was told in a polite manner we would have happily popped home and changed, however the attitude of the old miserable guy sitting at the front desk ruined the whole experience. Being 30 degrees outside on a Sunday evening as well can I add! You would assume considering restaurants have been shut for so long, a chain like this would want to uphold there reputation? I guess not.The “manager” as I walked out decided to immaturely scream ‘have a lovely day’ can I add. Almost laughable. I was shocked with the customer service. I have been to numerous Miller and Carter’s before, this being the most informal one I’ve seen (also in Bexley) I was shocked how arrogant the staff were being.

A lovely fillet steak meal. It is great that we are now allowed back into restaurants.. Service was great, our waitress was Charlee.The place feels safe and yet still comfy and as you expect M&C to be.Will be going back again … thanks team.

Went for son's 21st meal. 4 adults. Covid secure re entry ie,face masks,sanitiser etc. Taken to our seat promptly and then left for a totally unreasonable amount of time to be offered a drink. I can't understand why restaurants can't get this basic thing right. You should be offered a drink promptly as you look through menu if you so wish. Eventually after 20 minutes and asking several staff we were served a drink. Not acceptable. They seemed short staffed. The food however was delicious from starter through to dessert. Lovely steak cooked to perfection. Prices are expensive but if the foods good then I don't mind. Would definitely go again but please get more staff or train your staff to offer a drink at least as soon as possible.

Went to bexley Miller and carter on Tuesday evening with my friends from work, steak was amazing and the service was brilliant, our waitress Jayne made sure everything was clean she wiped down our table and followed the covid rules, which made things more relaxing for us, she also made our night enjoyable as we didn’t have to wait around for our order to be taken or drinks t arrive she was constantly on the ball. Thank you Jayne x

Had lunch in the conservatory yesterday with friends the afternoon was made by our waitress Jane even though it was hot and busy we didn’t have to wait to be served and our drinks came out quickly our waitress was very professional and funny and helped us with the menu, we ordered the fillet steak and onion loaf which was delicious and was done perfectly.

Really good afternoon lunch for the misses and myself. Unfortunately disappointed with the kids offering. Very small portion of chicken for an 8 year old. The kids steak was also small. When I asked waitress for a top up or extra she just explained that you just get the same meal again. I did not see the value in the meal at all The waitress, was lovely and did give us fantastic service.

I went for lunch with a friend and had the signature wedge salad with salmon. It came out with a whole lettuce cut in half drizzled with garlic sauce as i dont like the stilton cheese one, a few bits of bacon pieces which were tiny, 4 halves of cherry tomato and the advocado was vertually non existant. The salmon was on top. Who eats a whole lettuce, not to mention how could this have been possibly washed, you can get food poisoning from lettuce. This dish cost around 16.00, disgraceful, needless to say i left 3/4 of the lettuce. I shall not be returning

Your member of staff Paulina was so professional, helpful, happy and very attentive thank you paulina. The food was delicious and filling and a great menu.

As always, Miller and Carter lived up to expectations. We were excited to come back and we had the lovely Charlee as our server. Charlee remembered us and our favourite drinks and dishes. She is so lovely, attentive and a great asset to M&C. All 3 courses and drinks were delicious. The manager Matthew is also very welcoming. We’ve visited each time between lockdowns and I have to say that they’ve adhered to the Covid restrictions very well. See you soon!

Came here for dinner during August eat out to help out. Upon arrival we was greeted and told of the impressive covid measures that were in place for our safety. We was shown to our table and started our dining experience. We had starters and mains, all the food was really nice, I would say it’s quite expensive in there, but the steaks are really good and the £40 off the bill went down a treat.

My girlfriend and I came here for my 21st and having eaten here several times before, we knew what to expect. Very warm welcome with the COVID rules clearly explained to us. Charlee, our server, was friendly and attentive, as were all of the staff working that night. Never had a bad visit to this M+C and I don’t expect I will ever have one!

Our meal was cancelled due to the tier 3 restrictions. The Miller & Carter could not have been more helpful, I received a text message in less than 24 hours to say the meal was cancelled and they would be refunding my deposit & 2 days later I received a call to arrange a refund to be paid in to my account.In these days of having to chase people for refunds due to covid 19 I applaud The M&C for there prompt response and excellent service.Thank you

Excellent food, excellent service...We have been here several times, and each time it has been as good as the last....

Arrived early at the restaurant to be told I had to come back as I was not allowed to wait inside due to Covid, however lots of empty tables, it would have to be noted that it was freezing outside , attitude was just un helpful , went away and due to arriving by public transport , had to wait in the cold .Went back on time and had same attitude , inside decor was ok, service was slow and indifferent , we chose a shared starter but it was available, I had the prawn cocktail with avocado in a yogurt dressing, it arrived without any avocado, which was added when asked, however it looked as though it was prepared in the morning, the dressing was in the form of coloured water with no taste .I ordered steak as a main however I like mine medium rare and then thick sliced and cooked medium rare again, however was informed in no uncertain term, NO due to cross contamination, which I don't accept due to the fact that it could have been cooked with cross contamination.I ordered cod and chips, which was obviously frozen and cooked in a micro waveMy partner ordered a medium to well done steak and a third was medium rare, at this point we called the manager who disagreed and insisted it was cooked correctly even though when the steak was press blood came out. The manager was polite and said he would discount the bill, which turned out to be only £10.00It was my first visit to this chain, to say we was disappointed would be an understatement, the chain promises so much but fails to deliver on service and delivery. My overall opinion is that it was like eating in Weatherspoon's.Finally please take this post as constructive criticism.

This was the first time I had ever been to this restaurant and was blown away with how gorgeous the food was. Looking forward to another date night with husband there again soon. Would recommend to anyone.

Thank you so much for a much needed date night with my husband after having a baby in May. It was our first night out and we went round and round deciding on where to book and chose Miller and Carter. I’m pleased we did! The food, drinks and service was wonderful as were the recommendations. We truly had a lovely time and will be back!

This evening my husband and I booked for a meal and we were not disappointed. The service was fabulous, all of the team were wearing masks and adhering to the guidelines on Covid-19. Our waitress for the evening was Paulina, she was absolutely amazing! It was the last night before lockdown and despite this she was full of optimism and completely focused on providing the best customer service to all customers, all while lockdown and the uncertain times ahead were undoubtedly laying heavy on her mind. She is a credit to the team and I hope that we are lucky enough to experience her exceptional customer service in the future. Al the best Paulina abs take care :-)

Have previously given a 5 star review but very disappointed today. Ordered the same main meal for two. Sirloin steaks, one medium rare and one medium. They came cooked as ordered but one of them inedible due to the amount of gristle and fat through it. Please check quality before you serve this at over £20 per head. Your customers deserve better !

We had a great meal, steak was amazing. Donna was our waitress and she was perky, friendly and efficient.

We had a lovely good value family meal. The restaurant has fairly recently been refurbished and is so much better then when we visited a couple of years ago. The lunchtime menu is great value and we felt very confident regarding the COVID 19 care. The amount of space we had from other diners was very good, unlike some places! The only complaint (from me)is they no longer serve non vegan custard! A real shame if you don’t like the taste of vegan custard and rather strange at a “Steak House”!

All I can say about our visit to Miller and Carter Bexley is 'outstanding' The food was perfect. The measures put in place for covid 19 were at a very high standard with face masks,sanitiser, one way systems and track and trace. We would also like to say a huge thank you to Pav, who's service was incredible, really made us feel welcome. 10/10 guys! Thank you everyone!

We had a great lunch here. The food was fantastic and the service we received from Catherine was first class. All the covid procedures were in place and the atmosphere was lovely.

Having been loyal miller and carter visitors over the years and having been to a fair few venues I can honestly say Bexley is always a great experience. We recently moved to Bexley from Bromley and the standard in the Bexley venue is just so so so superior! The food is always perfect as is the service! The Manager is always friendly and welcoming and even recognized us on our last few visits. On our last few visits Cate has been our waitress and she is so polite and helpful even accommodating for the more particular one in our relationship (not me) with a smile and even wrapped up the bone from our tomahawk and most recently the bone from the cote de boeuf for me to bring home to my little pooch! The one and only thing we were a little disappointed about was that we only just learnt about the loyalty scheme on the app! We've visited quite a number of times recently and gutted to be missing out on whatever the loyalty scheme gets you haha. We will be back soon no doubt :)

No Hoodies as its Smart-casual, please more going on in the world than a hoodie.Ordered our starters they came, I had salt and pepper Calamari clearly was from a packet not fresh and was really over done. My Niece had mushroom and cheese sounded nice, looked vile. Button mushrooms in sweaty cheese, why not a nice big portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese etc. I ordered the 8oz Rump steak they recommended it medium, fine I did! It came out looked amazing dauphinoise potatoes wasn't nice very greasy, my steak to start was nice just how I liked it. The waitress came over asked if everything was ok, at the time yes. After a while my steak was getting rare/blue unable to eat it, I don't like to complain not my style!! My Niece called over our waitress who said I should said something earlier I was not to know earlier and nothing she could do!!!!!! Paying the bill, my Niece said look I'm not paying for over cooked food/under cooked please can you take them off the bill, reply was I'll get the manager. In a nutshell he removed the starter and charged us half price for the steak. We was then told it was a sous chef on and not the main chef, I would of thought to have the head chef on the important nights Thursday, Friday,Saturday and sunday. We looked the reviews and judged it on that, never again.

Very disappointing trip for me. I hadn't been to this restaurant in a a couple of years and my memories of it were great. A lovely local restaurant, nice building and really good food for a chain. Unfortunately on this occasion it left a lot to be desired. On this occasion, the food was sub par. Starters were fine, but the main was pretty poor. Steak was cooked as expected but the chips (fries) were really not very nice, and this to me is such a basic thing to get right. They just did not taste nice. The other sides were ok and the onion loaf was tasty, but overall it just felt like a poor impersonation of what was very nice food the last time I went.Side note, but my friend had fish and chips and this was also served with fries, which would put me off from ordering the fish and chips at all, that's before I had even tried the fries that night.Dessert choice was poor, but the item I opted for was really bad. A chocolate hazelnut bomb that was like a hard brick and almost impossible to eat/get into. Not good.Drinks also seemed to have a poor selection on offer. We ordered cocktails because it was technically a celebration but one of those we ordered was horrible (bramble something) and the other was very nice (a raspberry and lemon cocktail).I would have rated my previous visit 4 stars, but sadly it was a long way off from that on this occasion. Positives were the waitress was very nice and the restaurant seemed to take the COVID-19 measures seriously.

We picked M&C for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant visit was our first since lockdown in March.Overall the food we ordered was ok, not as good at previous visits. Scallops were a lovely but expensive starter. I was especially disappointed with buttermilk chicken. The skin was soggy on top which is quite off putting. My husband felt his BBQ chicken was ok. We would stick to steak if we returned. Brownie door dessert was lovely. We were uncomfortable the staff did not wear masks, especially as our waiter kept leaning so close to us when speaking to us or when serving food or drinks. The restaurant was busy. Our waiter was very pleasant and friendly.

We had Sunday dinner here. The food was well presented, served quickly and nice and hot. Reasonable prices. Thoroughly enjoyed the lamb. My wife and daughter both enjoyed the chicken. Lovely place and well managed for social distancing.

Booked for a birthday meal, which we were looking forward to. We were so disappointed with our meals, my meal was disgusting, for the money , Half an Iceburg Lettuce plonked on the plate, with a few slithers of COLD steak, no bacon, or stilton as advertised, I have had this meal before at Miller and Carter, it was nothing like this. My husband said his chicken wasn't good, he had an u[set stomach that evening. I complained about my meal at the time, and it was taken off the bill, I won't be returning anytime soon.

The service was second to none - it always is in Miller and Carter Bexley.But the food just didn't live up to the high price tag. Furthermore it appears (in my belief) that they have increased the price of the food to offset against the 5% tax.On a positive, they are abiding by Covid restrictions in reducing the number of available tables and creating a one way system which works really well. Certainly a good selling point in these trying times.I do think it will be a while before I head back to M&C as the local Beefeater offers the same great flavour steaks for a much cheaper price. The only sad loss will be their fantastic onion loaf. But it's just not worth the extra dent in the wallet.Overall the rating I have provided is related to the cost vs quality of the food in comparison to other local venues. It is sadly just not good enough. Whilst the environment is key to a good evening, it's the food we go for and that's what ultimately counts.

We have visited this restaurant many times before, but this was the first time we have visited for dinner since lockdown. We were impressed the measured put in place and the food was delicious. However, I received three text messages before arriving, informing me that sports wear & shorts were not to be worn. Whilst eating, we saw three men, from three different tables, all wearing shorts and trainers! Why send three messages, informing me that this clothing would not be acceptable in the restaurant, when it clearly was. Need to either be more firm with your dress code or not have one at all.

Went here for the set lunch. Food was delicious and didn’t have to wait long at all. Cate our waitress was wonderful, very attentive and friendly.Felt like it was very organised with COVID procedures- one way system, deep cleaning tables between customers etc. Thank you for a lovely afternoon!

Just finished a lovely 3 course set lunch menu. Absolutely delicious. Steak was cooked cooked to perfection. Cate, our waitress was so friendly and gave us a warm welcome. Extremely Covid safe with a one way system throughout the restaurant. Also saw our waitress throughly clean the table and all chairs after a family had left ready for the next customer. Would definitely be back!

I brought my mother here for her birthday and was immensely impressed with the waitress and her professionalism. The food itself is well worth the money with perfect portion sizes for those hungry for great steak. A warm atmosphere and will definately be coming back again and again and again.

Went to Bexley Miller and carter last night with my parents and husband, the steak was delicious as per usual, and the atmosphere was lovely, our waitress Jayne was brilliant when she came over to take our order she saw that my elderly father was struggling to see the menu so she helped him With what the options were, we didn’t have to wait long for our drinks, once we received all our meals she came over to make sure we was all ok, definitely recommend having Jayne as your waitress as she made our evening more enjoyable. Came here for lunch today with my sister for her birthday treat ... had a beautiful meal our waitress Jayne was very helpful and I noticed she was very on the ball when it came to cleaning up after people had left even down to cleaning the chairs, was very impressed, it made us feel at ease knowing that things were getting done properly in these difficult times. Definitely booking again.

Took my Mum for her 60th Birthday, we were served by Catherine and she made it such a lovely experience!A very attentive waitress, in no way pushy and made us feel very welcome. She is an absolute credit to your restaurant.The fixed price lunch menu is incredible value for money (would absolutely recommend the salt and pepper calamari) and the mocktails were delicious.The birthday message on my Mum’s dessert was very much appreciated!Will definitely be returning soon.

Booked a table for 4 for a friends birthday in August on a Saturday afternoon. The waitress that served us (pretty sure her name was Charley) was helpful, polite and friendly. We ordered from the set menu. The Calamari starter was delicious. As were the mushrooms and the pulled beef garlic bread. Cocktails that we ordered were very good. Mains we ordered were lovely. Sea bass, steak sandwich and steak. Generous portions, and very tasty. A table near us left and Charley cleaned everything including the chairs thoroughly and did this as soon as they left. This obviously was reassuring to see. 3 course set menu was fantastic value for money! I would 100% recommend. Well done Miller and Carter Bexley!

The best that can be said for two cod and fries and a burger and fries is that the pattie was pretty good. The cod was very small and over cooked. Why no chips? The fries were flaccid and not hot. And yet another establishment where, in answer to the question: “What draught beer have you got?” The answer doesn’t include bitter such as London Pride. I had to tease the answer from the waitress.Will think twice before returning.

The last time my family visited bexley miller and carter was roughly March time. The staff was pleasant, however, the managers weren’t a help at all. I find that many a time when we visit the restaurant the managers aren’t friendly or helpful compared to other miller and carter experiences we’ve had. My daughter had a birthday meal for her 14th and was refused the table we booked as it was ‘inappropriate’. I also experienced another below par experience just after lockdown, roughly July, where although the safety guidelines were outlined and I understood, I felt genuinely uncomfortable as the woman serving was rushing us and we’d only been there for 45 minutes! I visited miller and carter dartford recently and felt so much more comfortable and respected, and had more time to properly spend time with my family and eat. I don’t think i will be rebooking.

Absolutely gorgeous meal last night. Service by Charlee was impeccable. A big thank you to Mathew for squeezing us in. Chateaubriand was cooked and tasted perfect. The four of us had a great experience. xxxx

Lovely night out for my friend's birthday. Managed starters plus mains, obviously went for the steak experience! We all feel so full Also! Also have to praise our waitress Donna. Great service and made us laugh. Would defo recommend.

Visited this restaurant when visiting friends in Bexleyheath and had a lovely time.To start, the host on reception was great. She asked us to look at their rules and showed us the way out for when we left (for social distancing). She showed us to our table and again gave us instructions in use of the bathroom. Our waitress was Laura (I think) she was very helpful and very polite. The food was amazing. I had the prime steak burger. We all enjoyed the food.Since COVID, this has been the first restaurant that I felt was 100% on top of everything and really appreciated it. Would defiantly return and highly recommend to anyone. The main restaurant is stunning.In addition on of our group has a nut allergy and they were really good to accommodate this. They even ordered the ice cream and cookies and they bought the ice cream but mentioned the cookie had traces of nuts and therefore did not bring this. We really appreciated this.

Another lovely meal on 26 August. great service throughout, a special mention to Donna who was attentive throughout and very personable. A real credit to Miller and Carter.

Fabulous meal as always here. They do the best steak and today’s meal didn’t disappoint. Was great to use the eat out offer too. Excellent service and great organisation of social distancing, using one way system and not overcrowded, so felt completely safe. Thank you Miller and Carter for an enjoyable afternoon. Had an excellent meal at miller and carter today.our steaks were superb. service was efficient and friendly,our waitress was Catherine. Very impressed with safely measures,very safe and tables were socially distanced with a good one way system

This was my first visit to a restaurant since Covid-19 started and was expecting good service as some of my friends visited the previous week. I was not disappointed with this visit. As soon as the previous couple on the neighbouring table left, all the chairs and table were cleaned immediately with cleaner, not just water, by the waitress in a a plastic apron and gloves.The waitress was polite, helpful, and gave us time to choose our meals and drinks unlike some restaurants that can rush you. The Sirloin steak was tasty, the sauces for the lettuce and meat were delicious as expected. I had the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream for desert and it was dripping with chocolate just as I like it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good meal especially with up to £10 off per person on Monday to Wednesday. Although I had meat there were fish, and vegetarian options on the menu.

Me and friend come for lunch not was the food amazing the server was amazing too. Thanks Charlie for all your quick service and being so attentive will be back again and asking for her

Lovely, great tasting food, impeccable service, clean and roomy, plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

Excellent fillet steak with mash and gravy. 100% will be going back. Seating well spaced for COVID lot of sanitation stations and one way system in place which did not hamper our experience.

Food was fantastic, cocktails were lovely. Service by Donna was very good, she really looked after us and made the night enjoyable. Felt very safe with social distancing measures in place

Visited last night and was greeted by Jack who was a welcoming host and went through all the details of how the restaurant was operating. We were served by Helen who was friendly and helpful throughout our evening. A thoroughly pleasant evening and great food!!

My husband and I visited today and had a beautiful meal for our anniversary. Pavel was fantastic host, very easy going and chatty with us. We even got a special anniversary dessert! Thank you all!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were booked in and the table was ready dead on time. There was a well planned route around the restaurant with many hand wash and sanitiser stations. Excellent food, served very quick without rushing us to vacate the table.

I don't understand how this place is accredited by coeliac uk. The very few items that they state are gluten free are cooked in a fryer with other foods containing gluten. Really disappointed, especially as checked it all on their website beforehand.

Let me start by saying you can not go wrong with Miller & Carter, I’ve never ever had a bad experience and dine in many different branches of this restaurant often. My favourite branch is Bexley, it’s a lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and the food is top class. We visited again today and was served by Charlee and she was a delight, so polite and very sweet, made us feel super welcome and made our experience superb! Once again the food was amazing and we enjoyed it very much! See you next time

Popped in on a Sunday for dinner, both had a steak main and mini dessert and hot drink. Food was hot, with fast service and tasted great as always. Was sat in the downstairs bar area and served By Charlee who was kind and attentive throughout the meal couldn’t ask for a better server. Overall lovely experience, couldn’t fault it

We had lunch here on Saturday afternoon, our server was Charle and she was lovely so nice and not only did the food make our trip but her service was great. Our food i had the minted lamb and it was lovely so soft my hubby had the t-bone he said it was the best he had ever had. I was a bit worried about the dress code but I had jeans and sandles on and they where fine. Iv got to say thank u and we will b bk soon with food and staff like Charlie.

Excellent experience at Miller & Carter Bexley. We were greeted by a fantastic, professional who informed us of the circuit following government guidelines to keep customers safe, he guided us to our table. The waitress was excellent and she was very helpful and it was timed perfectly when we were asked when we’d like a drink and she gave excellent recommendations on the food. The food tasted amazing. The chefs are fantastic. It was an enjoyable experience and felt safe here in these Covid times. Fantastic place to visit- highly recommend others to book and have a high quality dining experience.

Went here this evening for a meal with a couple of friends was greeted by a lovely manager who explained the new rules with social distancing which was great, then we was seated at our table the waitress was over in no time for us to order our drinks and our food. The food was amazing fresh hot and delicious !!! All staff was very friendly got checked back on to make sure everything was ok just a real enjoyable evening great staff lovely restaurant great place to go!!!! Thank you x
