Fantastic milkshakes!!!! Considered walking back for a second a short time after finishing my first.

Milk bar makes a mean Flat White! Love the fact that the milk is brought in fresh daily and beans are roasted daily.

Always a good stop for coffee refuel and a nice chat :) oh and great (vegan) cake!! We will definitely come back when we're in the area again <3

Super friendly service, great coffee and hot chocolates, Bakery bread, and toasted sandwiches are delicious. Don't get me started on the cup cakes and pastries. Yet to try the milkshakes and ice cream when it gets warmer and judging by other reviews they're really something to look forward to! Bring your canine and they may just get a little something dog-biscuity too... they love dogs at cup & cone and that's just another reason to love this little place even more.

Incredible coffee blend being used, Peter made me a White mocha which was phenomenal. Best I have ever tasted. I will be back for another.

Cup and Cone Coffee Shop is quite the most wonderful place to visit when you are in Inverness.  It's just the "in" place right now and the staff there make your visit to their beautiful ❤️ city a real treat with their great offerings, staggeringly friendly demeanour and warm and welcome decor.  Try it for yourself ... Apareció en el mercado para salir de la lluvia y tropecé con este lugar. Tenía tanta curiosidad por la especialidad de chocolate blanco caliente y ¡fue increíble! ! ! Como una barra lechosa de buena calidad sin ser empalagosa. Dio en el clavo. Un chico encantador nos sirvió. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita si estás en la zona. ¡Salud!

Whenever I’m in Inverness I will always come to visit.Easily my favourite cafe and the best customer service you can get. Even if you don’t like coffee there is a great range of other drinks and treats so it’s still worth the visit. After your hot or cold drink I would definitely recommend taking a 500ml tub of ice cream home for later on, it’s local and delicious!

Fui una visita por primera vez, quería un trago rápido antes de tomar el tren a casa. ¡Ciertamente desearía tomar un tren más tarde para poder quedarme aquí más tiempo!Me encantaba mi chocolate caliente con chocolate blanco, botones de chocolate recién derretidos en leche; asombroso. Tuve el helado de leche local en un cono y estaba delicioso. El dueño era un hombre maravilloso y bondadoso y después de charlar, ni siquiera me dejó pagar por mi helado. Las personas de buen corazón son raras de encontrar. Recomiendo mucho el helado y agradecería que todos pudieran apoyar esta tienda local.

I combined two amazing flavors (Bounty &amp; Homeycomb) and created the most delicious milkshake ever! Americano coffee was excellent. Friendly staff and great chat! Glad we stumbled upon this gem before our train!

We‘ve spend an hour or two waiting for the rain to get over playing cards and trying all the nice things available. Great coffee, awesome hot (belgium) chocolate, cake and ice cream and a delicious milk shake. Very friendly service, we’ve had a great time, thank you very much! Made our day!

The best coffee in Inverness bar none!By word of mouth recommendation I found the Milk Bar and have become a regular every time I pass through INVERNESS. In truth I have found myself structuring my day to make the trip just so I can have coffee there. It’s a pleasure to be served by the staff, all of whom really understand coffee and I can highly recommend the Cortado (as in the picture)A must visit, it’s no1 for a reason!!!

Coffee, ice cream and cakes are amazing as we know. However the atmosphere created by the people working there is my highlight.There was 3 perfect strangers already in there and because of the attitude guys serving after a matter if minutes we were all chatting away like old friends.

Probably one of the best coffee spots in Inverness - it's only five minutes from the train station, so worth a trip in if you're waiting for a train.

Popped in for a coffee after reading the reviews. The best flat white ever it was delicious. Also had the toffee cake which was so light and tasty. Very small venue in an arcade needs to expand and open a larger shop it would make a fortune. If you are a coffee snob like me you have to give it a try.

Unfortunately I didn’t find this shop until my last morning in Inverness but wow was it worth the stop before my train! Amazing coffee, friendly staff, and cute little shop. Definitely a must go.

My husband and I were out for an early morning walk in Inverness today and stumbled across this cracker of a coffee shop. The coffee has to be the best I’ve had in the UK since arriving over 3 weeks ago. Plus you get the added bonus of a truely lovely guy who runs the place

Superb establishment with great quality produce and friendly staff. Situated in the Victorian Market in Inverness a nice spot away from the elements and hustle and bustle of the traffic.

I've been drinking coffee here since it opened . It really is the best! They are coffee pros. Use great coffee and know how to use the coffee machine! Also do lovely soups ,cakes and pastries! Highly recommend .

Peter has done it: he has prepared for me on (3) separate occasions a most delightful interpretation of one of my favourite's, the 'flat white' coffee. Peter is a wonderful & caring human being who truly loves what he does and the proof is in the coffee. :-) Thank you again, Peter.

Well what a find this place was!! Absolutely gorgeous coffee, fantastic choice of hot drinks and tempting treats to have with it!! The owner was really friendly, welcoming and obviously knows his beans!! Will definitely be back and what a surprising but refreshing change to have somewhere in the centre of town to go for a cuppa that isn’t a chain, has engaging staff and outstanding coffee!!

Ordered a quick smoothie while shopping in the Victorian Marketplace which was delicious and refreshing. The owner was very friendly! It is always nice when traveling to stop and support local businesses. If you are lucky to live nearby, stop in!

We wandered into this place in Inverness’s Victorian Market and I’m so happy we did! The ice cream is wonderfully rich, some of the best we’ve ever had. Staff said the owner sources the ingredients ethically and doesn’t sell to big distributors. So it’s a small family business and the quality is excellent. The cappuccino was also amazing, probably also attributable to the rich, full milk. It was sprinkled with Belgian chocolate! That reflects the attention to quality ingredients here.

Love this cafe! Fantastic locally sourced coffee and delicious (also locally sourced) ice cream. The service is second to none and there’s always a friendly smile and a chat available. Highly recommended.

Peter gets his coffee roasted to a unique recipe and it shows. My son tells me the milkshakes are equally excellent. The best aspect is the personal touch from the staff.

We paid a visit to the Milk Bar within the Victoria Market in the centre of Inverness and were rewarded with a superb espresso and flat white. The patron in front assured us we were about to receive “the best coffee in Inverness.” We can add our votes! The proprietor/barista provided superb and attentive service. As a bonus, the Milk Bar also offers gelato made from locally produced milk. All in all, a great experience!

We got three different drinks, one ice cream and their special coffee roast. The drinks were very good, especially the turmeric latte and the chai. I didn't try the ice cream but my sister says it was amazing! Also, the owner is one of the nicest people! Must visit if you're in Inverness

If you’re visiting Inverness or are a local here, you must try The Milk Bar or you will be greatly missing out on the best coffee, milkshakes and ice-cream in Inverness! The milk bar is a quirky little cafe with a lot of character due to its fun decor and delightful owners Peter and John, who are always very welcoming and are always up for a laugh whilst providing an outstanding service. I have been returning as much as I can to the Milk Bar for over a year now and cannot stop raving about it to all my friends/family. If you are looking for a delicious coffee or treat then please do not hesitate to go visit the Milk Bar, it truly is supreme and gives a real taste of what Inverness has to offer!

So glad I found the Milk Bar through a friend! Wouldn’t go anywhere else now for my hot chocolates or milkshakes! Peter is a very welcoming guy and is always up for a good conversation. Would definitely recommend going here instead of Starbucks or Costa.

I still don't get how Peter manages it. But you can see the care he takes in making a perfect cappucino. Mellow, and smooth. Fantastic. With great difficulty i was able to stay away from the pastry, but it was quite an effort. Easy going, relaxed atmosphere. Véry pleasant

We were greeted with smiles and great service. The coffee was excellent and the travel tips were on point. A wee Scottish gem, 10/10 all round!

Didn't know about Milk Bar until last week, but what a great place to get delicious , piping hot fresh coffee. Definitely worth a visit. Will definitely be back and recommend it.

Don’t be deceived by the modest dimensions and informality of this coffee shop: the coffee is excellent and the barista is such a lovely guy who really makes the place. Macchiato comes heartily recommended as a proper macchiato. The locals love it, and with good reason.

So happy we came across this amazing coffee shop! It is truly a hidden gem, the decor inside was great, and the barista was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning soon, and would highly recommend.

Tried a few places and this is a good strong coffee, served as it should be: rich, hot. Great barista and a happy stream of regular clientele. Tried also the ice cream which is a generous serving of good quality ice cream in the British hard scoop style.

We were just strolling the Victorian Market and came across Milk Bar and are so glad we did! The ice cream from Black Isle Dairy is delicious (especially the Mint Choc Chip) and, bonus, the staff are wonderful!

A return visit while on business in Inverness. Managed to squeeze in two visits on the same day! Absolutely heaving this morning and there are now seats outside in the arcade (perhaps they were there before but I didn’t notice!), coffee was fantastic and much needed as I’d travelled from Thurso on a train with no trolley... ! Back this afternoon for a coffee for the train and cakes to take home - as good as they looked. This place is a real gem!

The ice cream here is amazing and is even better when you get it in a milkshake. The milkshakes are great value for money and the staff are very friendly.

Visited the Milk Bar today with the family, must say its the best ice cream in Scotland! Its delicious. Also had a hot chai, very difficult to get a good chai outside asia..... but the chai here can hold its head up very high!!!

I was walking by this place and was pulled in by the offer of a Tumeric Latte. The owner promised to make me something else if I didn't love my latte, which I did BTW. We chatted while we enjoyed our drinks. The owner, and his wife who came in are awesome people who take pride in what they do. This place is sparkling clean. The ice cream looked amazing, but it was to cold for me to try. It was in a great little area of Inverness. If you're over there, do yourself a favor and try it.

We needed a quick snack while exploring Inverness and we came across this place. It was perfect, had great ice cream and even plant based “plastic products”. The server was pleasant and even took our illegal old biritish pounds as payment that we had from earlier trips to the UK, and they were no good. (Even though we had other notes to give him) And we appreciated that.

Staff always lovely in here. Lovely choice of delicious ice creams - perfect as they are or in a milkshake, good teas and coffees, and other wee snacks.

We all love this place and try to visit whenever we are in town. They do amazing ice cream, tea, coffee, milk shakes, soup, cakes, etc. from local suppliers.

Visited the Milk Bar on an enforced stopover at Inverness station, it's just across the road in the Victorian market, and is much nicer than your usual station fair. We were served promptly and helpfully by Peter. Homemade soup was excellent and the coffee to follow was delicious. All in a very helpful and friendly place for a snack or a sweet treat.

What a great find the Milk Bar in the Victorian market in Inverness is. Forget the high street chains this guy has all the knowledge they could give and then tweaked it up a good few cogs, The Milk Bar blows Costa, Starbucks and the rest out of the water.

It's difficult to find a good cuppa on a Sunday morning but happened to find this perfect gem. Not only is the coffee amazing, the way it was made and the great conversation by the owner made it top-notch. I hope everyone supports this independent delightful cafe!

Went over to the milk bar with a few friends due to previous overwhelmingly positive reviews on tripadvisor. Did not disappoint. Had the mocha milkshake with an additional shot of espresso into the shake. Creamy and rich without being overwhelmingly sweet. Fantastic shake overall.

On our travels through Inverness, we were guided to this little shopping arcade. The center itself was not remarkable, but the Milk Bar inside was a delightful find. I enjoyed the best tasting coffee I'd had in a long while, and the teens were fond of the ice cream options. As we were on the run, we picked up a few treats for the road. The croissant was massive and delicious. The "bounty" bar was something like a homemade "Mounds" bar, only far better quality. It's a small shop, and the manager was very friendly and patient with our larger (6 people) group as we tried to figure out what it is we wanted. Overall, great place.

Come here if you want love and attention paid to your tea and coffee. Friendly service! It's a nice alternative to the chain shops. We never tasted the ice cream but it is locally sourced and looks good.
