There were 18 of us last night for a 40th birthday meal. Ive been to Milan's a couple of times before with no issues and last night was no different. We had pre-ordered and there was a very convenient and seamless process in place for splitting the bill down for the many parties within our party. The food was amazing and the service matched it. When there are so many people you would normally expect something or other to not be quite right and be accepting of that but in our case literally not one foot was put wrong. The whole place was busy and it was clear quite a few parties were for birthdays and it's easy to see why. I genuinely cannot recommend Milan's enough and want to give a massive thanks to all the staff. We'll defs be back ❤️

Despite the unprepossessing access. To the restaurant. The staff and level of service were excellent. I have seldom come across such high levels of service. They managed to create a homely welcome without drifting into intrusive overfamiliarity. A well balanced and sufficiently varied menu boded well and the quality of the meals we enjoyed was exceptional in its inception and execution. I would on the basis of this evening’s meal have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant to anyone , be it a romantic meal for 2 or a family celebration.

We have been to Milan many times before when we holiday in Wooler. This year it was for my husband’s 50th birthday. My booking was for 33 people. We were not disappointed. The service was brilliant for such a large party. All food was served hot and at the same time. The food was amazing as always and all 33 said the same and that they would go back

Another outstanding meal at Milan, absolutely magnificent. Today I ordered off the Christmas menu and went for the turkey dinner with all the trimmings. This was great, everything on the plate was really delicious. For desert I had the Lotus blonde, also delicious oh and a Pornstar Martini to top it off. I cannot recommend Milan highly enough. We own a B&B(Hay Farm House), the Milan is our top recommended restaurant for our guests, who also all love it, some of which book the Milan every night of their stay.

What an amazing place..... The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. food was excellent and the staff were really attentive - couldn't do enough to ensure the visit was memorable for the right reasons. Certainly comes highly recommended.... i'll be back

Really welcoming staff greeted us at the door and were attentive, professional, and friendly throughout. Food and drink were excellent, atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious. The bill was super reasonable and we had a lovely evening all round. The ice cream from Doddington was really, really good! 100% recommend!

I'm a local, five miles away (very local in this area), power is out at home, so figured I'd hide in a local place. This is perfect, friendly staff, but not too fussy or over-attnetive, chatty but not too much. Lovely food (crema del mare with linguine), good wine by the glass if your solo like me this evening, great for gluten free, warm, welcoming and a great experience. Thank you.

Was staying at Chillingham Castle and had read about here and wow we were not disappointed! Starter garlic dough balls were just amazing. Mains were just as good. Could tell was cooked fresh and with care. Wasn't too busy and still food took a good 15 20 mins to arrive and was worth the wait. Lovley portion size. Cutlery,glasses etc all clean. Service was prompt and efficient. Can't not wait to come back next year will be here for our evening meals 3 nights in a row can't wait.

Excellent meal with excellent service and one of our party gas 20+ years in hospitality. The deserts were to die for. Highly recommended.

Amazing restaurant in Wooler. Turn down the alleyway by the Black Bull pub, and it opens out into a small Italian style piazza with a fountain. Inside the restaurant is much bigger than we expected. the food was excellent and the staff were very welcoming, pleasant and the right level of attentiveness.

Visited here while having a weekend away in Wooler. It's a great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. We really enjoyed all our food which was tasty, fresh and perfectly cooked. The portions are huge! Very good wine and drinks menu. The staff here are fantastic. The service was friendly, polite and efficient.
