Dinner for 2, ribs small in size, small in portion. Salted Chilli Chicken over cooked,bland! 2 main course full of onions, bland as! 2 beers and 2 soft drinks. £71 quid later. Ridiculously price for auch

We placed an only order, simple enough you would have imagined. Old bag on the counter is as rude as I’ve come across in a long time. Order was wrong - Prawn instead of chicken, not the end of world, except when you have an allergy to shellfish!! The Chicken honey chilli which was chicken, tasted of nothing but vinegar. Rang back to advise and she hung up on me. Avoid at all costs as it’s a health hazard!!!!!

Beautifully presented and clean restaurant. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Extremely attentive. Good choice of dishes available. Food was all very tasty. Well worth a visit. Happily return.

Paid £56 for a takeaway for two of us tonight and it was awful. Ordered crispy beef in honey & chilli, but the whole thing tasted like vinegar and was super watery. The special egg fried rice wasn’t egg fried and came with a gloopy gravy and some very unappetising slices of chicken/beef… the vast majority of the takeaway went in the bin sadly so a big waste of money.

Not the Midnight Haunt I used to know. Food no longer taste good. Quality has deteriorated. It's the closest Chinese restaturant from my house but I still go to Lurgan to get a satisfying Chinese take away.

Got a beef satay on Saturday night and it was absolutely full of onions not to much beef and watery sauce definitely won't be going back

The worst Chinese takeaway I have ever tried never had such a weak excuse for sauce it takes real skill to make food this bad well done. Same ingredients chucked into every dish

Quite expensive for what you get and the Chicken used is always the brown meat by default. Not impressed.

Lovely food, very hot, freshly made, and so tasty. We were welcomed by a lovely girl who made us comfortable and took our order. The restaurant is very clean and tidy, with modern comfortable decor. We'll be back.

Duck was mostly batter. Peking sauce gloopy. Chips like cardboard. Other meal pumped up with more onions and next to no chicken. Horrendously expensive. £32 spent and didn’t even include complementary crackers.

Super Chinese restaurant and takeaway.

Worst food I have ever had WOULD NOT GO BACK 20 pound for chicken balls chips and a slice chicken super very small portions food 0 out off 10 would not recommend it.

Just had a salted chilli chicken absolutely awful,terrible quality and the dish was full of onions and what was suppose to be chicken very little of it.. for £16.00..money wasted.. The cost for me is never a problem but such poor quality.. been here a few times and it's never that great but that's me done won't be back..I rate this place no stars but it won't let me post review without giving 1 star..

Me and my husband visited the midnight haunt for his birthday last night for the first time together. He used to go there when he was a child with his mum, he’s now 37 and when he tasted the chicken satay he knew that the recipe hadn’t changed in about 20 years because it tasted so good. When we asked the manager she confirmed that her mum has always cooked the recipes herself in the kitchen from them opening over 20 years ago. The food was spectacular, the service was amazing as the staff were so friendly and chatty! We will definitely be back very soon! Thank you everyone at the midnight haunt!

Previously had dinner here and enjoyed it, so came back again with friends. Was a good choice - casual, good food and good service. Crispy beef honey soya & cashews was my fave, followed by the crispy honey chili chicken.

My Husband and I came last night and we had great food and great service. We will definitely be back again.

Excellent food with Service to Match

We had an excellent experience in the Midnight Haunt. Food was fresh and tasty we shared three starters of chicken satay , duck pancakes and spring rolls . All delicious For main we had crispy chicken in honey soy and cashew and crispy chicken sweet and sour with young chow fried rice . Everything was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decor in the inside is quite plain but the food more than makes up for this . We will return and would recommend to friends for a sit in Chinese

We just love everything about The Midnight Haunt. Fabulous friendly knowledgeable staff, extensive menu it is one of the only restaurants that we would confidently try anything. To top it they now do weekend deliveries. My favourite is the chicken satay kebabs they are just the best! Beef black bean green pepper is also awesome as is Vietnamese Chicken. I could just keep naming fabulous meals. Try it you won’t be disappointed

Excellent £12 menu here on weekdays. 2nd time eating here and would definitely come back again! Basic Chinese food, decent quality and excellent service.

Lovely been getting out of it for a long time

Very dissapointed, Sunday 18th July 21. I phoned and placed an order for collection. Order taker was very pleasant. I ordered Chicken & Pineapple Fried Rice and a Beef Curry with Fried Rice called 10 mins as instructed, They had made Chicken Curry we took the Chicken Cufry . Both dishes were warm but very poor in flavour and execution. Won't be ordering anything here unless I hear of improvement. I wish you well and take this post not as a criticism but an opportunity to make changes and improve your dishes. Good luck.

Ordered off MH last Friday for the first in ages and not sure why I ever went elsewhere before. Top service, top food and delivery! Been in business for years and it's easy to know why. Great local chinese.

Ordered a chicken breast curry with boiled rice to takeaway, was asked £8.30 so I thought I didn't hear him correctly so I asked again and yes it was £8.30. I ve never paid as much anywhere is this the most expensive Chinese in the north? I think it is , food was nice but could get a curry in nearby village for £6 so unless you are desparate this is bad valve especially if your buying a few dishes

I was hungry so I went to Chinese in Moira I order chicken fried rice with curry sauce on top.I sat down and took a few mouth fulls and I seen a big bone in it.There is not meant to be bones in it it’s just meant to be chicken breast with no bones.When I seen the bone I was fuming I did not want to eat any more of it.I dumped it so when I went back they were nice abt it I showed them proof and they asked me did I want a refund or a new portion.

I have been coming to the Midnight Haunt for many years and in my opinion this is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is always delicious. I would regularly come here for a take away but it is always good to come and have a meal in the restaurant. I love the satay chicken for starters and the honey chilli chicken is my favourite main. On this occasion it was a large family get together so we were able to enjoy many different dishes. This place nice disappoints as I’d highly recommend trying the food here if you haven’t done so.

I cannot remember a time when we have not enjoyed a Chinese meal from the Midnight Haunt. A least once a month for thirty years we've explored the menu and enjoyed the happy service.

Really nice food, pleasantly surprised to find a Chinese restaurant not using watery processed chicken .Staff were also very friendly and the food was reasonably priced will highly recommend.

Had a carry out this evening & was very disappointed. Ordered chicken chow mein but wasnt sure whether the small amounts of meat were chicken or beef, they were mostly gristle & fat , totally inedible.

This is one of the best in the area both for sit in or takeaway. The flavours in the chicken satay sticks are amazing both as a starter and main. 3 big chunks of breast meat with green peppers and onions chargrilled then presented in rich dark satay sauce.Access is difficult for a wheelchair but can be done with assistance. All toilet facilities are upstairs which is not ideal. For this reason we normally just get takeaway

Lovely and yummy Chinese.I did not have to wait to long on my food.Also a great price for the amount of food you get.It was just the right portion size for sharing with a couple of people or with two people .Staff seem friendly and hard working. I would definitely recommend honey chilli chicken,salted chilli chips,noodles.The sauce from the chicken has a great sweet flavour to it . I am going to get the food more often x .........Btw I took the food out x

We love this place - even though it’s the only Chinese left in Moira. Great carry out of sit in. Honey chicken with black pepper and Yong Choi rice is our fave.

Lovely little chinese restaurant in Moira. It's main competition closed a while ago and we had always gone there, now we're glad we have tried it. It has had a refurb since we were there before. The staff are very friendly and the prices are good considering the quality.

I was with my auntie and we had honey spare ribs and I had cantese sweet and sour pork it was very nice indeed but the spare ribs weren't nice as they were deep fried .

I had a take away curry. Service was pleasant and quick. Food was hot. The curry however wasn’t pleasant to taste and I can’t see myself going back. The meat was very fatty also.

I recommend the Midnight haunt to everyone that enjoys tasty food; a Cosy setting and a fantastic dining experience. I grew up in Moira and within the chinese food industry and can honestly say it's one of the best chinese restaurants I have ever tried.

To make matters even worse!! Whilst returning for my bags after the poor service the hotel service guy had the nerves to approach me in an aggressive manner to ask why did I complained? and why did I leave my Bach’s if I didn’t like it? I replied as I’d already been ripped off...I thought it was the very least he could do. He called me “Liar” I told him politely where to go!!! My point is... I’m not going to complain for a hotel visit that was booked nearly two months ago? It should have been right from the very beginning! Recommendation...don’t STAY!!! Rubbish but I do regret stopping to his level and giving him!!! Oh dear

My partner and I decided to try this establishment, what a mistake that was. We decided to order some bbq ribs to keep us going until the mains arrived. We shouldn’t of bothered, at £6 a portion we were horrified to be served a plate of ribs that clearly came from a very anorexic pig. NO MEAT whatsoever, I struck it lucky to pull of the odd bit of fat, but that was it. We complained twice to the staff that we were not happy as the ribs had NO MEAT to which the response was “ oh we always serve them like that” in hindsight had I off known I would of brought my dog with me as he might of been more successful with the bones we were given. Staff were not at all interested with our grievance, instead opting for a very annoying over friendly display of interest in our plans for the evening. Food was served within 5 minutes of ordering, which is never good. Over priced food, which does not deliver in quality. Less greed and more customer service.

Where should I start?! My partner and I ate here for the first time, and what a disappointment it was. The staff are over kill friendly to a point it’s coming across as fake. So we ordered some BBQ spare ribs to enjoy as we waited for our main courses, and clearly they get their supply of ribs from anorexic pigs, as they did not have any meat on them whatsoever. When asked how they were we told the staff that they were very disappointing and had no meat! The waitress response was oh really! We always serve them like that. Over priced low quality food. Had they had any sense of customer service the ribs should of been taken off the bill. We complained again whilst paying he couldn’t care less, nor were we offered a refund or even a free mint. Greedy people, over priced poor quality food, that came out steaming hot 5 mins after it was ordered. Absolutely feel robbed from this place. They are a disgrace. Will NEVER be back. AVOID!

Very good Chinese. Only used them as a take away, but I know they have great deals on for sit in midweek. Have had a number of take outs from them and tried a lot of things all of which were very good.

Clearly Midnight Haunt know they are the only Chinese in Moira and feel it is acceptable to supply grey chicken in their curry, soggy chips and lukewarm rice. I wish I had travelled to Dollingstown now. Their over pricing of poor food is a disgrace. About time people realised what a rip off this place is

The midnight Haunt is now the last remaining Chinese restaurant and takeaway in Moira. The staff are the best, always friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The food is served quickly once you have ordered and is as good. Prices are what you would expect to pay for a meal out.I eat here several times per month and have never had a bad experience, even when they were extremely busy. Keep up the good work.

it was my wifes birthday and we went to the midnight haunt for a meal. the food was excellent.the service was superb. they r so friendly. the power went off during our main course due to the terrible storm which started when we were in the restaurant. we were treated so well with many candles and had a very romantic evening!! i cant emphasise enough how wonderfull the two chinese were in looking after us. we will be back soon.alan and ethel.

I visited the midnight haunt for a take away. Service was fine. Food was grand but nothing to write home about.

Sorry but takeaway meal was overpriced and very poor. None of it was nice and it ended up in the bin. Even the smell as I was driving home seemed a bit strange. Very very disappointing especially as I bought this as a bit of a treat for my Mum.

My title says it all. Average ten pounds per course. Three or four pounds extra for rice/chips. 2.40 for a can of coke!!!! These are high quality prices for average food. Genuinely friendly and engaging staff. I’d say if the food wasn’t so expensive they would earn more tips. Save the money and take away.

Been here on numerous occasions on my own and with company. The food is fine but the staff are very helpful and friendly and that elevates the whole experience

Normally one of our regular visits but this time we were slightly disappointed. Had set meal & our main courses were not good, sauces poor & quality of meat not great. Found the staff rushed & under pressure.

I have been a frequent diner at the midnight haunt over many years since it first opened. having not been in a while I was delighted to see that standards have been maintained. from the prompt and friendly service to the quality of the dishes served , I could fault this restaurant.

It's been a year since we visited this restaurant. Life getting in the way! Happy to report the food and exceptional service hasn't changed still as excellent as before. The recommended dish was divine and nothing was too much trouble for the busy staff. A friendly smile goes a long way , something some hotels and restaurants should learn

The staff here are amazing. I recommend trying there sweet honey chilli chicken. We had to ask for more as it was so delicious (all the food was delicious) but the chili chicken turned out to be the fave. The waitresses are top notch very professional but also show there personality. I love to see waitresses that have great communication, can have a laugh but also know that they are still working. Well done guys such a lovely balance here and atmosphere. Takeaway is available here and i will be ordering from here next time im in Moira. Top Notch place

Truly awful. Got takeaway this evening, chicken was inedible, overcooked & rubbery, chips were hard, special fried rice had a slimy substance over it. Never again.

Stopped here passing through the village and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service we received from both waiter and waitress. Food was very good and reasonably priced, we will return

We had booked a table which had a reserved sign on it, but it still had the debris from the previous customers on it which they cleaned away while we sat down. The smell of burnt cooking oil hung heavy in the air. My elderly mother was asked to change seats by the manager as she'd "be in the way" if she sat where the waitress had put her. Although we had taken off our coats, we had to put them back on as the room was so cold. We told the manager we were cold and he produced a plate warmer with two tea lights in it for us to "warm ourselves". It took ages for the food to arrive and it wasn't worth the wait. My mother had ordered an omelette which looked more like burnt scrambled egg and was swimming in grease, as were the other dishes. I ordered a coffee which arrived in a teapot, was lukewarm and tasted like cheap instant. The ladies had Irish coffee's which were cold as the cream was served at almost freezing point. The drinks had just arrived when the manager appeared and asked if we'd be staying much longer as he wanted to plan his tables! We assured him that we'd be off very soon to warm up!

An institution in Moira Main Street for many years, the Midnight Haunt has gone through changes but is still a firm favourite. Familiar faces in the staff that are always friendly and attentive and food that hits the spot, some of the sauces could maybe be slightly refined but you always leave satisfied. Looking forward to plenty more!

Warm welcome, efficient service, big menu, quantity and quality of food good , all so good to be let down by sweet choice ... or lack of , pineapple or banana fritters or ice cream ..over all experience was good but equally could be enhanced

After previously reviewing this place very highly I'm afraid I have to say standards have slipped dreadfully & the place had no atmosphere (half lights weren't switched & freezing cold with small electric blow heater in one corner!) Service was still good although this extra charging for everything is a joke & if you order from the meal deal well u may well go home still hungry as portion sizes small! ( it is still £11 for prawn crackers which on this occasion were a bit stale a small starter & approx 1/3 of normal portion for your main & half a bowl of chips plenty of rice though!) The standard of food is normally good but on this occasion my starter was just warm & no more with very little sauce the main course of crispy beef was very chewy & not enjoyable, my husbands chicken dish was tasty but 6 bits of chicken?? Really! Drink prices are also very high. We will be giving this place a miss for a while hoping standards pick up & they can put some lighting & more important heating on so at least it's a nice atmosphere!!

Ordered salty chilli chicken for a take away with chips was very expensive, contained so much batter could barely taste the chicken...chips were cold and all round portion was poor in size and taste. Friendly staff though.
