Middle Eastern Takeaway in Liverpool

Lovely food: Lamb Mendhi was so nice. The meat was so soft and tasty. The rice lightly fragranced. The Lamb Kabsa was tasty too - again lovely rice. Our son had the lamb kebab he was pleased. Excellent value - the portions were large. The food was delicious. The price was very fair. I have to recommend the Khoubz - the picture can’t describe how lovely light and flaky the bread was. Perfect!

We pass this restaurant on our way to visit a friend in nearby Care Home. I suggested we try it. Wow- we were certainly not disappointed. The Ambassador is wonderful. The host greeted us warmly and brought out free lentil soup - delicious. I had a mixed lamb/ chicken dish and my brother a different lamb dish. Both were beautiful and the meat so tender. Each plate came with a salad, yoghurt dip and a tomatoe/ aubergine sauce on the side. The rice was beautifully coloured and very tasty. The arabic tea was very enjoyable - I had two cups! We will certainly visit againn and would highly recommend it. Very reasonably priced too.

You can't believe what you can get with little money. Cheap pricing but certainly not cheap taste. This restaurant serves generous volume of authentic middle eastern food with amazingly tender lamb. My favourite has been Lamb Kabsa. Mindi Lamb is also great. Typically I spend £11 to get every thing including drink(must try their "tea with milk") for 2 adults and 1 child. Soup and salad come with a main and often they give extra ones free. With all the restaurants and pubs I've been in UK, this one is my favourite for the taste and pricing! But don't expect anything posh for the interiors or atmosphere. if you are looking for something different, genuinely good, and want to feel like travelling abroad, eating here is excellent choice. You'll experience explosion of flavours in your mouth.
