Michael's Mediterranean Restaurant in Cotswold

will defo be back some friends and i went for a meal and were thoroughly impressed, as a starter we had garlic prawns off the specials board and the meatballs, i have never had such fresh prawns in england before. as mains we had a sirloin steak cooked to perfection and i cannot recommend the peppercorn sauce enough, the pork ribs fell off the bones, the burger was thick and juicy. for dessert we had churros and the freshly made rich dipping chocolate was delicious. the staff were attentive, they wiped away mess from the prawns off the table, cleared empty bottles. a memorable evening for all and will be back in the future!

This restaurant puts all others to shame. The food and drink was the best ever!! The granola was lovely and sweet, the hot chocolate was velvety and sweet. And it’s all thanks to Julia. I would come here again since the last time i came here was when i was 4

We were in the area with our (very well behaved) dog and popped in on a Monday evening. We had no reservation but were made to feel very welcome. It’s not a big restaurant but very pleasant and warm. The waiter was very friendly and when asked was happy to give recommendations. The menu was varied with options for all. The food was delicious and very well presented. The red wine was also fab and served at room temperature. I would recommend this friendly reasonably priced restaurant to anyone although probably best to book in advance at weekends as it is not big. Top marks from a very happy customer.

Beautiful location, fantastic friendly and efficient service, good menu, super generous portions. This is a tiny place with probably only 24 covers, so book ahead as it’s popular, due presumably to its status on Tripadvisor. It is slightly incongruous to its surroundings but a refreshing change to eat Mediterranean food and take a break from pub grub in this area.

What a fabulous meal with the best experience! Ruben, our server, was a delight and very attentive. The food was delicious, and the ambience perfect! Best meal we’ve had in the Cotswolds this trip! We couldn’t have asked for more!

Great food and friendly service

We had a delivery last week and it was amazing!! 5 stars. Had it again tonight and it was disappointing. The food was cold, the meat was dry and tasted like it had been left out for hours. Such a shame as it was so good last week - perhaps it’s because they’re busier on a Friday. Cold good, dry crusty meat, limp salad - not sure we’ll order again now

Visited on New year's eve around lunch time whilst exploring the area and we were so lucky they had a table for us. The food was to die for and the service was brilliant. Really wish I didn't live 3.5 hours away!!

Wife's food stone cold and kebab meat was like leather.. covered in chilli sauce and not sweet chilli as ordered. Been using for years but second time in a row that one of the meals was utter rubbish. Won't be ordering again!

Awful Moussaka, dry, bland and difficult to find any aubergines within this dish. Not even on one occasion was I asked if everything was okay. My only choice of dessert wasn't available. I paid up and left, not that any worker seemed bothered. Shame, it looked a nice quaint restaurant upon entering but shall not be returning.

This is a lovely cosy Greek restaurant especially if you enjoy Greek food, however they did not play any Greek music at all. The background music was a load of rubbish and spoilt the Greek feel.
