We really enjoyed our family meal here. The menu has a good range including some nice snack options. All of our food was very tasty including the children’s option. I really liked the mushroom pasta. The pasta looked freshly made and good quality. Service was good and the restaurant is nice. My only criticism is that there was some dirt stuck of the bottom of my drink glass and also one of the plates. Admittedly it was on the outside on both occasions but it wasn’t very nice to look at and made me wonder how it’s got there. Drinks were good. We will definitely be going back for another meal!

This restaurant is incredible. The food was 10/10 and it was good value too. We had the seabass for lunch which was so nice and we were impressed with the Chef who came out and spoke to us through the meal. I would definitely come back to the restaurant again.

A local restaurant in Primrose Hill that always serves a fantastic variety of good, fresh and interesting food. Michael is an innovative chef which is show cased on his menus from the best bread to the asian inspired dishes. Imam Bayaldi (aubergines, tomatoes, yoghourt and flat bread) was great, while my husband enjoyed his salmon ceviche. Miso black cod and sea bass were both lovely. Wines are reasonably priced and staff are friendly. What more can you ask from a local neighbourhood restaurant?

Absolutely love Michael Nadra. Far and away the best Sunday Lunch in Primrose Hill at the best price. I've eaten many things on the menu and consistency delicious. I once had a dodgy waitress but she's long gone and the staff are wonderful.

Was taken here by friends for a lovely Sunday dinner. Not the cheapest place to eat but worth every penny. I had the beef roast dinner and the meat was so succulent and tasty, a real "mmmmmmm" moment. Roast potatoes, lovely and crispy and fluffy. Veg cooked just right. The jus was so flavoursome. Everything was just prefect. Tall Bloody Mary cocktail really worked well with the meal as did the Hendricks martini. Those that had dessert were very impressed, I was too full! Make sure you book in advance, this venue is so popular. Thank you for a really enjoyable meal.

We had a truly wonderful evening at Michael Nadra’s restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food outstanding. I thoroughly recommend the scallop to start, the flavours are wonderful. The see bass as a main also outstanding. Sadly, I was so full I couldn’t manage a desert. Michael Nadra’s house white wine was superb and outstanding value. We enjoyed a fabulous meal yesterday evening with all our guests raving about the food and the restaurant at the end of the night. We were greeted warmly by the team who were attentive, friendly, professional, efficient and generally all round excellent. The table was located in the vaulted "tunnel" a pretty and intimate area. The food was beautifully presented and tasted divine. Our table of 10 selected a variety of starters, mains and desserts from the a la carte menu and each dish met high expectations. The whole dining experience was simply wonderful from start to finish. We would like to thank the whole team with a special mention for Antonio for making my wife's birthday celebration a resounding success.

Went here to celebrate buying our first home. Had Oysters, olives, and a nice mint salad mixture to start which were all tasty. Presented nicely as well. The only fault really is that I ordered a special Watermelon Martini - which tasted a bit watered down. However; I informed the waiter and they corrected it for me by adding more alcohol and no questions which was nice. Porcini and truffle tagliatelle was awesome and my wife had Sea Bass which was very nice as well. The only other nitpick is that the garden was a bit cramped on the seating arrangements - could use a bit more space.

Michael helped us to organise a birthday celebration for my wife. He showed great attention to detail in preparing for the event and ensured the the menu offered sufficient variety of foods to accommodate the dietary requirements of our 16 guests. The delicious food, wine selection, service and ambience made the evening swing. The service was particularly good and was equally unobtrusive. Nobody wanted to leave at the end of the evening. Thanks to Michael and his team for helping to make the event so memorable. We will certainly return!

Such a delightful experience. We booked an early table as we only had a short time for a birthday lunch. I explained the situation and the staff bent over backwards to make our meal perfect. From the first bite of freshly baked warm bread to the last taste of treacle tart with clotted cream and raspberry sorbet our lunch was superb. I had the homemade Taglioni with black truffles and porcini sauce. OMG they were lucky I didn’t lick the plate. The others had the Sea Bass with triple cooked chips and mixed greens. They too enjoyed every bite. Such a treat on a wet Wednesday. We will be back with the rest of the family and friends.

We haven't visited Michael Nadra in Primrose Hill for 2 years due to the covid lockdown. Yesterday evening, we went as a family. Every meal was utterly superb, including the childrens' spaghetti and hamburger. The four adults enjoyed beef, pork and fish dishes, and in every instance, the dishes were cooked to perfection. Michael himself was the chef for the evening. He sets a very high standard that is kept to that standard regardless of whether he is in the restaurant or not. We'll be going back soon.

Visited on a mild winter evening. Garden area warm and pleasant and staff super friendly and helpful. Food delicious and well priced. Seabass perfect. Will be back!

My wife had a birthday gift card for Michael Nadra and the Chiswick one nearby still had not re-opened after the lockdowns. So we made a delightful trip of going over to Camden Road on the Overground then strolling down the Regent's Canal and round Primrose Hill before lunch at the restaurant. We chose the own label wines, a good Sauvignon Blanc and a nice ultra dry Grenache/Shiraz, reasonably priced. We had seafood starters (I particularly liked the baked scallops/prawns/octopus) then for mains the miso black cod and grilled Iberico pork. We shared both courses and all four dishes were interesting, hard to replicate at home and tasty. Service was good and we had an interesting chat with Michael Nadra. It was a lovely, leisurely lunch and although it's hardly cheap eats it seemed quite reasonable for the quality on offer. Afterwards we walked further along the canal, to Finchley Road then home on the Overground.

Very very slow service waited nearly 2 hrs between starters and mains they only started apologising once I made a fuss. I know they were busy but this was unacceptable and they should have offered some discount not just one free dessert for party of 4. Food was ok nothing very exceptional. I’ve been several times over the last few months and each time the food has been delicious and the service and setting are the icing on the cake. The miso black cod, truffle spaghetti and treacle tart are my favorites but everything I’ve had the pleasure of trying has been fabulous. Highly recommend for couples and friends.

After my visit to the restaurant on Sunday we were slightly concerned about the level of Covid precautions taken although the staff were wearing masks throughout our time there. We were not asked to zap a Track and Trace QR code or offered any sanitiser for our hands on arrival. There was no sanitiser in the toilets and the only one we saw was a small bottle on the opposite end of the bar to the exit. We were also surprised that a fine dining restaurant allowed dogs inside the restaurant while people were eating.

A very relaxed and conveniently situated restaurant near Regent's Canal for a little walk after your meal. Service was friendly and efficient . We opted for the Sunday roast ribeye and had great expectations of a delicious piece of meat. Unfortunately this is not what we had. The meat was wafer thin which I think did not allow for the flavour to come through it was tender enough but extremely thin. The meal itself was only lukewarm in fact the carrot and parsnip were almost cold and the roast potatoes were quite dry which was surprising as it was only 12:30 p.m. I would have thought they would have been fresher. Overall not a successful roast but I'm sure some of the other dishes might have been better as a lot of the reviews is testament to this. Very disappointed.

We have lived in the area for some time though this was our first visit to Michael Nadra. Having exhausted the restaurants around Camden and Primrose Hill (varying quality and success) on an impulse we decided to give it a go. The menu is varied and extensive and you can either graze or go for a starter and main - there is no lack of choice. We had a selection of fish dishes with the soft shell crab excellent though the Tuna lacked flavour. Service was good and there was no pressure to turn tables which are very well spaced out and range across several rooms including a small outside terrace. Including aperitifs, a bottle of red wine (£42) and deserts our bill came to £150. You can eat here for less and conversely a lot more if you travel up the wine list. Our first visit - we would happily go again.

Mi esposo y yo pasamos por Michael Nadra muchas veces, pero nunca entramos. Hoy decidimos intentarlo. Reservamos una mesa bastante temprano 5:45 así que éramos los únicos clientes en ese momento. Nos señalaron una mesa muy poco atractiva en una parte del restaurante que parecía más para bebidas o esperando comida para llevar. Le pedimos al camarero que nos cambiara a otra mesa en lo que parece ser el restaurante real y el camarero dijo que no era posible (en un tono muy antipático) porque había 85 clientes viniendo durante toda la noche y no podía garantizar que pudiéramos quedarnos con nuestra mesa. el tiempo asignado de 1 1/2 horas. La forma en que se dirigió a nosotros fue como si los 85 clientes que vendrían después fueran los clientes reales y ¡nos trataran como si no fuéramos clientes! ! ! ! Pedimos agua. El agua llegó 15 minutos más tarde y solo después de que volviéramos a preguntar. ¡Éramos los únicos clientes en el restaurante! ! Cuando llegó el agua decidimos que no íbamos a quedarnos a cenar y nos fuimos.Nosotros no vamos a volver.

Vine aquí para el almuerzo del domingo hoy y fue genial. Quería una comida ligera sin carbohidratos y mi amigo quería leer detenidamente. Ambos tuvimos excelentes opciones con la lubina y el pollo, además de una evaluación de servicio honesta de una agradable casa blanca. Lo recomendaría en comida, precio y servicio.

We visited last Tuesday during the gov eat out scheme. We ordered sharing cheeseboard for starters, which was excellent and accompanied with an assortment of homemade crackers which were excellent. For mains we ordered black cod miso, absolutely delicious, sea bass which was so flavoursome and perfect cooked & tagliatelle with truffle again pasta cooked to perfection al dents and truffle sauce so tasty. We also ordered a selection of sides, rice, truffle mash & assortment of greens, all were just exceptional.The last 3 weeks my family has eaten out every Monday- Wednesday supporting local restaurants and this is definitely our favourite.The service is also faultless. Very attentive but also discreet. As we were leaving the restaurant manager asked how our meal was and we were so impressed with the whole experience we returned again 5 days later for lunch.Our alfresco lunch on bank holiday Monday was once again fantastic. I’m a vegetarian and ordered the chickpea & aubergine dish cooked in some wonderful Mediterranean spices and a broccoli, feta & egg salad which was so fresh and with a beautiful dressing. My husband once again ordered his signature dish, black cod miso. My daughter tried the veal chops as suggested by the restaurant manager, which she found very fatty and left most of it on her plate. To our surprise the eagle eyed restaurant manager noticed this and immediately cane over to apologise about the quality of the veal chops and immediately said there would be no charge for her meal without my daughter-even uttering a word of complaint. That’s what I call top notch customer service.Highly highly recommend eating at Michael Nadra, fantastic food and amazing service.

I have been to some of the top restaurants in London and last night's dinner at Micahel Nadra's at Primrose Hill was one I won't forget. We arrived a little bit early but the extremely accommodating staff found a table for us. Unfortunately we weren't happy where we were sitting so they moved us after the starters as soon as a table became available. The food was AMAZING and the staff and service was exceptional. Would highly recommend it.

First time I've been, went today with my cousin! Francesco - the 'trainee' was absolutely AMAZING! The service was attentive without being intrusive and the food oh my gosh! I left Francesco to choose my main and he didn't disappoint, the Ceviche was second to none(and I had similar at 34 in Mayfair) the combination of fresh Salmon, avocado and cucumber with the added crunch of the toasted quinoa was a palatable delight, the truffle mash wasn't over powering but gave the idea! Can not recommend this place enough and also runs along little venice so perfect for an afternoon out! definitely be back xx

Michael and his staff made us feel so incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The service was excellent but not at all stuffy or intrusive. The food was made with the freshest ingredients and so flavoursome. Our waiter was able to give advice on our selection when asked and we were not disappointed. Had dinner here for an anniversary and we fell in love with this restaurant. The place is stunning and the food is just too good. The menu did not get me very excited, it seemed the average modern British restaurant trying to do a bit of everything from Argentinian sausages to tabbouleh and ceviche. Wow! The Sunday roast was fantastic! Great meat, potatoes, kale, yorkshire pudding, all perfect. One recommendation - get the extra gravy. You will need it for the leftovers!

A wonderful service is offered now during lockdown with a great Grill menu during the week and what we’ve eaten today - a Sunday Roast with all the trimmings, roast potatoes and vegetables plus a fabulous Yorkshire pudding. We had a chicken breast and a Rump of Lamb and we’re doing this every Sunday now! You can collect yourself or arrange for delivery. We plan to eat from the Grill menu, (fish, meat and great vegetable sides, plus deli options). Please keep doing take away till you can re-open!

Un poco de un 'derroche' para nosotros, ya que no podemos pretender que estamos acostumbrados a que los 'precios de restaurantes de Londres, etc.' sean de la tierra del 'Sunday Carvery for a Fiver'. Para darle un poco de contexto, hemos cenado en algunos de los mejores de Michelin. . . . . . . solo muy ocasionalmente. El personal fue muy amable y el servicio fue impecable. Nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el principio. Una larga conversación con Michael al final realmente puso la guinda del pastel. Nous sommes venus pour la Saint-Valentin après avoir lu les nombreux commentaires positifs. Un menu était imposé à 75 pounds par personne, ce qui est très cher mais j’étais prête à payer ce prix pour de la qualité. Quelle déception ! Deux entrées minuscules (saumon pas mauvais, lasagnes caoutchouteuses) un plat correct et un dessert plutôt bon mais trop sucré ... le tout manque beaucoup de raffinement et de saveurs. Le service est gentil (mais quelque peu désorganisé), j’aurais aimé mettre plus d’étoiles mais la c’est impossible.

Ese restaurante está a una corta distancia a pie de Camden Lock y se puede llegar caminando por el canal. El menú es bastante tradicional con un toque de fusión y en un muy buen nivel. El servicio era torpe y lento, pero también motivado y amable, así que no nos importó demasiado. Sin embargo, los precios parecen ser un poco altos.

Después de pasar una gran parte de mi cumpleaños en el aeropuerto de Tallin debido a que mi vuelo se retrasó 3 días antes, estaba ansioso por mis planes de cena reorganizados en Michael Nadra en Primrose Hill. Había descubierto el restaurante cuando corría a lo largo del Canal Regents y después de mirar el menú de degustación en línea, mi apetito ya estaba abierto.

I love Primrose Hill, especially when the sun is shining. Restaurant is a short stroll from main high street and what a treat it was. Very friendly service and exceptional food made my birthday lunch a real treat. We are outside in the little courtyard; I had glass of fizz and sneaked a little taste of husband’s cucumber martini - I may have become a martini convert! My starter of soft shell crab tempura with a delicately cut piece of cured salmon was delicious, light and clean tasting; very simple but as with all things simple, there’s nowhere to hide and these few ingredients really shine! My main was steamed sea bass with crab bisque and prawn and chive dumplings - seasoning was beautiful, hints of ginger in the carrot purée was delicious. Husband ‘s starter were scallops; beautiful, plump and cooked to perfection. His main was welsh beef; had to take photo quickly before he polished it off! As usual, I had cheese instead of dessert; a lovely selection and my husband had treacle tart with raspberry sorbet and clotted cream. Restaurant does a good number of wines by carafe and glass as well a great bottle choice. Table next to had the tasting menu which looked amazing too. It was a beautiful meal which coupled with excellent service makes this a winner.

Ordered tasting menu with wines, first time we got warm food and had to wait 5 minutes for wines. With deserts, wines were forgotten completely. One wrong dish also served. Food was ok, but as a tasting menu not really worth it - you are better off buying just one main course but 580 euro 6 course tasting dinner with matching wines for four persons, neither the service, nor the quality of the food lives at least up to our expectations.

5 people at £100 per head for the tasting menu. Absolutely disgusting, chewy scallops !! Not worth the money and will not return after many years of annually taking our client there.

Absolutely wonderful night! The staff was kind and generous and the ambiance was incredibly romantic. My boyfriend and I had a lovely time and are so thrilled that this location has become our special spot :)

We visited the restaurant end of April for a dinner with another couple, it was our first visit and we were very pleased. The interior is very inviting and for a Wednesday night they had a good atmosphere going on.

Great spot for drinks and early dinner, easily accessible on foot from both Camden Town and Primrose Hill. Chef Michael is very approachable and delivers the same impeccable standard for the early dinner special menu as for his signature dishes. My dinner companion was particularly thrilled with dessert.

I posted a very unfair review on Sunday after there was a mix up with our booking and we couldn't have a table. I have ben contacted by Michael Nadra who has offered us a table to make up for it.

We have been fans of Michael Nadra since 2005 when he opened his first restaurant in Chiswick. His original menu was principally fish based, with one meat dish on the menu to satisfy carnivores. The food has always been interesting, well prepared and tasty and his wine list, aside from traditional favourites, always incorporates some interesting wines which hitherto has always rewarded the risk of choosing something new to sample. This was the case yesterday when our meal was accompanied by a Verus Slovenian sauvignon blanc followed by a Lebanese Red from the Bekaa Valley being a blend of cab sauv, cisault and syrah. Food very good and the Sunday Roast (Sirloin option) was top notch; the treacle tart with raspberry sorbet and the chocolate fondant with salted caramel ice cream were a very acceptable way to bring lunch to an end. Service was friendly and efficient and a lovely afternoon was had by all- we shall return either in Primrose Hill or more likely at Michael's Chiswick establishment which is much closer to home.

Perfect place for a date, really warm and friendly service, it was a really beautiful building which was classy without being pretentious. <br />The gentleman that served us drinks was a proper host, felt very welcome. Great experience, little pricy for what you got though.

We wanted an upmarket restaurant for a birthday celebration which catered for meat/fish eaters and a vegan and it’s not that easy but I was pleased to see the menu offers vegan options. It’s lively and the noise levels were quite high but could hear ourselves and did become quieter towards the end of the meal.

The food was fabulous, the service laughable. Noise level also through the roof. Too bad, I’d like to go back for the food but it just isn’t worth the hassle.

Great atmosphere with good background music which was not too loud to stifle conversation. The place was really buzzing. Very friendly service. A creative menu and the food was delicious. Good choice of wines at OK prices. I would definitely return.
