Miah's Kitchen in North Lincolnshire

Ordered from here at 4pm for a 7pm delivery, in plenty of time due to football. At 6.35pm the restaurant sent a text cancelling the order, so we had to order elsewhere for delivery later. Will never use again..

They don't seem to have a website anymore and any orders sent on just eat just go ignored. Terrible service. Can't even complain on just eat as you can only review once you've had an order accepted. This place used to be good. What a shame

Tonight we ordered from Miahs kitchen off Just Eat because we liked the sound of the menu. The chicken pakoras was nice but the mixed biriyani was stodge, the chicken was shredded and the prawns were tiny, overcooked and chewy. The biryani had a bone in it too. The chicken balti naan had no chicken in it and was chewy, we couldn't eat it. All first visits from other Indian takeaways we normally get free poppadoms or something but we got nothing. Shame, would of been nice to visit again. Nice menu, shame about the service!

Ordered a Rogan's Josh and tandoori mixed grill. They said it would be 40 minutes but came much quicker. It was absolutely delicious, the meat just melted in your mouth and the level of spice was just right, they also gave us free onion bahjees which are the best I have ever had. Portion sizes were good and the price was cheaper than some other Indian meals I have had. I really can't fault it, I think it's the best I've ever had, amazing!

Wife and i started ordering from here couple of months ago when we started to give up on other Indians on Scunthorpe as Chillies was our go-to Indian but is not the same as it once was. We order here once a week/fortnight. Food: Amazing. We usually order a mushroom fried rice, Keema Rice, Lamb Tika Masala and either a mixed kebab or something else. We also get the Mercia Chips which are in the photo and are amazing. We always order a Cheese Nan too. All the dishes are delivered within an hour as expected for good food. We rice is lovely and extrenely authentic, its some of the best i have had. The nan is for my wife and she says it the best nan ever. The lamb tika is amazing and my wife is picky so if she loves it then it must be good. I get the mixed kebab as the lamb meat and chicken are fab. I have also had Chicken Patia which was lovely and the Jalfrezi which is gorgeous. We occasionally get some Bombay potato or baji as a gift as we order regular which is a nice touch. Generous well packaged portions too. Service: Amazing. We order online, not through Just eat as they are a rip off. We order through Miahs online site and get 10% discount with no added fees. The food comes quickly and the people knocking on your door are truly wonderful. There is a lady that comes that is chatty and very nice to speak to which is a lovely touch and most welcome. Cost: Usual costs for an indian, you are looking at £20 for a couple to have a nice take away, bargain. Summary: Lovely Indian, consistently great food and service. Will keep ordering here for when we feel like Indian. Keep it up Miahs.
