Good vibes when you visit this place, highly recommended.

Not been here for years and was plesently surprised. The decors lovely and a good atmosphere. The staff were amazing, to say how busy it was, we were seated and served immediately, the staff were friendly and efficient and asked us a couple if times if everything was ok. The food, coffees and house wine was very good. Overall a very enjoyable evening and we will definitely return.

The food was beautiful but ran out of lamb shank and sticky toffee pudding fir some of our party which was a shame. Would definitely recommend 👌

Decor and atmosphere was absolutely electric, my brother in Law's head nearly fell off when he saw the waitress 🤣 staff were attentive and calm and the boss man did me a really good red wine called a montepulciano for less than 6 quid! 100/100 would go back again!!!

Food is always good , friendly staff and a lovely ambience. Can be a bit noisy with all the groups of people celebrating special occasions so perhaps not ideal for the "quiet" romantic dinner.

Perfect. I simply adore this restaurant in my beautiful village. Parking available for those who need. Restaurant as a bar area if you are early. Lovely venue, clean and well decorated. The menu has lots to choose from without being over complicated. Daily specials board and an early bird option too which is excellent value. Lovely staff and the service is efficient and friendly. Great quality ingredients cooked exceptionally well.

Amazing family party here tonight the food was scrumptious and the restaurant ambiance is fabulous the staff very friendly and efficient we feel very thrilled to have enjoyed our family meal here and would recommend to anyone this 5 star restaurant

First class, highly recommended

While staying in the area, our host, recommended this restaurant so we pre booked for dinner. On arrival we were unsure if we had to pay for parking but the staff assured us it was okay to park at that time. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and was quite full and buzzing for a Thursday night. Our dinner was delicious, I had a scrumptious risotto and my Partner a meatball tagliatelle. The desserts were amazing. There were lots of big tables full of people celebrating different occasions. We look forward to a return visit when next in the area.

This was our first visit and we went for the early bird, my partner had 2 courses I had 3 and paid extra for a steak, when we got our bill they had charged us £4.95 each for the veg and £5,95 for a dessert which we queried, they knocked the dessert money off as it came in our offer but on the menu it says chips, veg or salad it should say chips or veg or salad we know for the future but when you go to Miller and Carter they always ask if you have been before to explain things perhaps they should do the same. The front of house guy is miserable and doesn't talk unless you are a table full of women then he sits down with them, not that I want him to sit with me but a smile or is everything ok costs nothing. I will go again as it was a nice meal.

Such a lovely Italian to eat at. The menu is great. The service was fabulous too. All our dishes were lovely and tasty. This was my first visit, but I’m sure we will be back.

Revisited Mezzalunas after a long break due to poor food from previous owner, this no longer is the case I cannot recommend the whole experience high enough, staff,food,atmosphere excellent, thankyou Mezzalunas for a great Sunday lunch.

Had a great meal. I had the chicken in tomato sauce with chips and the homemade tiramisu and my partner had the grilled chicken and cheesecake. Great early bird price, we will return.

food was horrible was not worth the extortionate price , waitress was rude and rolled her eyes at us everytime we odered, found a hair in the lemon sorbet , atmosphere was great but too loud , bathroom stunk overall horrible experience will NOT be going back

Really good food and brilliant staff. I had not been here for a few years because it went through a really bad time but it is just wonderful now. We were a small group of friends and we were looked after by lovely staff who were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was just superb and I cannot recommend enough.

First visit today for Mums milestone birthday. From arrival to us leaving all the staff were very friendly, polite, attentive and could not do enough for you. Nothing was too much to ask. The environment was very clean, spacious and welcoming. Exceptional food which was reasonably well priced. On behalf of myself and my family, I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for making sure my Mums birthday was a joyous and more special occasion. Will definitely be recommending this venue and visiting again.

Went for fathers day Sunday lunch and still had a choice for Italian menu food really yummy staff so polite and friendly clean place parking was good will definitely be back hope it's sooner then later a lovely place thankyou to all the staff x

Excellent service, every dish was very nice, they did gluten free pasta for myself & a fantastic homemade gluten free pizza for my daughter, the whole experience was enjoyed by all, they also altered dishes to suit our needs/tastes, very reasonably priced too. We will be returning.

Authentic Italian food in a pleasant atmosphere with good food and drink , early bird menu is a bargain but make sure you book a table.

Can't give 4 stars for food as there is very little choice for vegetarians. I liked my starter and my main as okay. But staff are lovely and plenty of choice for meat eaters.

The quality and presentation really showed the true authenticity of Italian food. The spaghetti carbonara was honestly one of the nicest I have ever tasted and there is a fantastic choice of starters and puddings. The service was very friendly but slightly slow in parts. Overall a beautifully decorated restaurant with a happy and relaxed atmosphere. I would absolutely come back here again.

Last minute girls night and mezzaluna didn't disappoint! It was amazing from start to finish! We had the early bird 3 course menu and it was delicious! Great food, great atmosphere and great service! Would highly recommend! We will be back! 5 stars!! X

Booked a table for 8 and cannot find fault with anything, spotless clean, excellently presented , staff smartly dressed and all very polite friendly and funny, service absolutely spot on , as was the food cooked excellent. Very good quality and value. Only one very slight niggle was out table was just a tad small I thought but certainly not uncomfortable. All in all a lovely evening. Recommended highly

Been here a few times now and the food is absolutely beautiful. Easily the best Italian restaurant in Barnsley without a doubt. Highly rate the lasagna it's the best I've ever tasted. Will definitely be back.

During lockdown they have stayed open providing a takeaway service. I have to say that the 4 occasions I've ordered from there that the food has been on time, hot and very tasty. Despite it being takeaway the standard of food has been extremely high.

I've been to this restaurant on a few occasions and always had a great time the food is first class and I would definitely recommend the Barnsley chop .

Visited Mezzaluna on Sunday 15 January with family for my daughter’s birthday. The food was excellent as usual. The staff are friendly and efficient and nothing is too much trouble for them. We visit this restaurant regularly and have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend it and will be visiting again soon.

We have just had another amazing meal. Party of 11. Everything was amazing as usual. The staff are always friendly and attentive. On our last visit, both myself and my wife had steak. Two months previous, we ate at Gordon Ramsay's in Mayfair. I can honestly say, there's was just as good. Always look forward to having a meal at this fantastic restaurant. Thankyou.

We had a meal last night for 23 people for my Hubby's Bday. The staff was excellent from start to finish, very attentive, friendly & any request was dealt with quickly. The restaurant is spotless & very modern, would definitely recommend this lovely place . Thank you to all the staff for your hard work.

Great restaurant, good friendly service!

Had a party of 13 booked, got there for them to rush us because we only had the table for two hours. They never mentioned that when booking. Service was terrible, just wanted us in and out as fastly as possible. I asked them to take the optional services charge off, as I wasn't happy with the service. The manager 'leo' was argumentative with it and tried refusing to take it off. For the price the food was just average, alot nicer from a takeaway and alot cheeper. Won't be having my custom again!

Just had a lovely Sunday meal at our local village Italian. We all had Sunday dinner and once again what a fantastic meal we had. Thank you so much to Leo and his team for looking after us yet again.

It did feel a bit rushed for a Friday night. Seemed more interested in setting the tables up for the next day over checking in on whether we wanted desserts (which we would have had) until some time had passed after rushing through the starters and the mains. Food nice, just felt like the staff were ready for home that night unfortunately.

Incredibly rude staff, food was ok but experience and mood for our meal completely ruined by rude manager and then waiters interrupting conversations. I will not be returning, plenty of other Italian restaurants that offer more than decent food in the area.
