Visité aquí a fines de agosto con mi familia, fue nuestra primera comida familiar en 3 años. Tuvimos una comida deliciosa y disfrutamos muchísimo hasta que llegamos al final de nuestro plato principal cuando nuestros platos comenzaron a ser retirados mientras mi madre todavía estaba comiendo, lo que hizo que se sintiera apresurada para terminar su comida, el hombre que nos servía entonces se volvió hacia mí y dijo que había mucha gente esperando. Luego regresó literalmente 30 segundos después, mientras mi madre todavía estaba comiendo y dijo, ¿quieres postres? Ni siquiera habíamos tenido tiempo de discutir esto cuando nos trajeron la factura y él estaba de pie sosteniendo la máquina de tarjetas. Me parece que este servicio al cliente es muy pobre dado que todos habíamos pedido entrantes y platos principales. ¡No había necesidad de apresurarnos especialmente cuando la gente todavía estaba comiendo y no habíamos terminado nuestras bebidas! ! ¡Muy decepcionante! ! ! !

Mi esposa y yo fuimos a The Mexican House el fin de semana pasado, un lugar muy agradable. Hay muchas opciones para elegir con el menú. Los entrantes y platos principales que tuvimos fueron excelentes y muy caliente. Demasiado lleno para el postre. Excelentes cócteles. El servicio fue excelente, Debbie realmente nos cuidó. Gran ambiente, una velada muy agradable.Incluso hay una sala de actos en el piso superior que ofrece servicio de buffet, suena bien para fiestas.Una verdadera ventaja fue el 10% de descuento del NHS, fuera de los precios ya razonables.Definitivamente volveremos ya que hay mucho más en el menú que queremos probar.Gran restaurante sin la molestia de ir a la ciudad.

Came in here afew weeks ago after a friend enjoyed his visit, server was very attentive, food was 10/10 came out nice and hot. Before paying the bill we was offered a free drink on the house! Will be back again soon!

One of the nicest Mexicans in Liverpool. Great for a local family meal. We’ve also ordered takeaway from this restaurant and unlike some restaurants the quality doesn’t drop at all. Definitely recommend.

We love it here. Always a warm welcome from Dilip he always treats us so well. I have tried all the menu and everything is well cooked and tasty....delicious!!! If you are a steak lover then the Sirloin is fab and the staff are lovely

Visited with friends after always wanting to try it. It was ok. Food mediocre, starters where cold, and not worth the money for the portion size. Mains where again fine but I wasn’t overly impressed. Visited other Mexicans in Liverpool that exceeded this one. Overall like I said it was ok and the place itself was nice and clean.

We ordered a takeout from here as my mum had a hysterectomy and couldn’t walk. The food was all hot and delicious and everyone who ate complimented how nice it was. They did forget the kids meal i ordered and after speaking to them on the phone a fresh one was sent over within 10 minutes. So i will definitely be ordering from here again

We had the two course special for £7.95 . The fajitas was lovely well worth a visit there is about 6 starters and 6 mains to choose from

We went to a 50th birthday celebration. We weren't expecting very much for the price - we had the set menu at £8.95, but WOW, what a pleasant surprise. The food was really good. I had the prawn and salmon fishcakes to start and the chicken fajita as the main course. Both were cooked well and the fishcakes were very tasty. I was a bit disappointed I hadn't ordered the spare ribs when I saw them but I needn't have worried as the portions were so large I got half my daughter's :)

We came to Mexican house very nice staff and we ordered drinks stater and main course love it everything we are Returning back thanks for lovely meals.

We wanted to eat somewhere reasonably close by to Anfield stadium and chose this based on previous reviews. We were really impressed with the food and the level of service.

Me and the family come all the time, at least three times month. It is so cheap and has the best quality of food. Phillipe can’t do anything more for you, add anything to your order and change anything around if fussy. Place, staff and service is 100%. Highly recommend the Tequita or nachos for starters and the bucket of Corona!

Our first visit to this resteraunt which was clean, and welcoming. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was lovely. A great menu with loads of choices cooked beautifully. Very good value indeed. Would go again. They also do take aways and have a function room for special events. I would recommend it.

Drove past this place so many times, yet so glad I finally went in! Warm, friendly, welcoming staff await you. Excellent value for money!! Starter and main on a Thursday for £7.95!! WOW. Portions are really generous too and food tastes freshly prepared! Defiantly recommend and will be returning for sure!

Having visited numerous times and sampled the very fine Mexican offerings we decided to try a good old fashioned Sunday roast that's new to the menu. I chose beef, himself chicken and the wee one gammon all were delicious and well worth hanging up the cooking apron. The beef was tender lovely & plentiful braising steak, soft and delicous. The gammon and chicken equally delicious. Proper roast potatoes, fresh carrots, green beans and a good ol' yorkie....fab

This Mexican is absolutely gorgeous, i came here for a special occasion as it was highly recommended, and we are glad we came here. I will be coming back soon, and would recommend this to my friends and family as it really is a great place to eat with a great atmosphere to go with it.

We visited the restaurant on Valentines meal, hoping for a relaxed meal with good food and that is exactly what we got. The restaurant is also walkable for us, so will definitely be returning!

Just got home from this amazing place we were celebrating our grandsons 7th birthday and we all loved it. Food was amazing if you want fast food don’t go here, but if you want quality food this is the place to go even the 4 children really enjoyed the food. They made us feel very special and made a big fuss of the birthday boy memories we will all treasure forever. Thank you to all involved

We come here all the time it’s the best Mexican ever , lovely food , lovely staff . We come just a Couple of us and also a big party of us . My favourites are mixed fajitas and mixed chimichanga and the kids love the fajitas too .

This Mexican restaurant is situated on Queens Drive / Larkhill and is a hidden gem. We visit here regularly and are never dissapointed.

My family and myself absolutely love this restaurant, as we regular here for everything from birthdays to anniversaries to just evening meals. The staff and manager go above and beyond for everyone there to ensure that the people have a lovely night. The food is lovely and we are always welcomed in as the manager and staff are all incredibly friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you to all of the fantastic staff there for all the lovely memories made!

Just had a fabulous family meal to celebrate my husband's birthday. The two girls, Jasmine and Emily were lovely, made us feel so welcome, were friendly and kept our 7 year old entertained all night. Cocktails were brilliant, good value for money. Food was lovely, we've been about 4/5 times now and never been disappointed.

This place is a gem. Food was lovely and the staff really nice and welcoming, special mention to Jasmine who really made the night.Shots away totally recommend for couples night out or even parties. We have had both types of night and enjoyed every time, not to forget the chef, all the food we have ate on our regular visits is tasty, piping hot and well served.Brilliant

We went as a group of 10 for our sons birthday and we had a wonderful night. The young girl waiting on us was very efficient even though she seemed to be doing it all on her own. The food was amazing and absolutely beautiful. I had the house beef chilli which comes served in a tortilla bowl which you can eat. The portion was really large and it was served with chips and salad. I honestly couldn't fault it. Some of us had chicken skewers which come hanging on a stand. It looked stunning. There is a large menu with something to suit everyone. We will certainly be returning. Thanks for a great night. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

There was a big party of us last night celebrating a 50th birthday meal. From start to end it was brilliant! Making cocktails that weren’t on the menu was really nice and the service from the two girls was brilliant as well. The food was beautiful and having eaten here for the first time I honestly cannot wait to go back! The manager helped to put the decorations up before everyone got there as well which was really helpful. And the cake was brought out with everyone singing happy birthday! We all had an amazing time! Fab night thank you to everyone!

We came here for my 40th Birthday. When I arrived the staff had put some banners up and had everything all ready for our arrival. A few where late but the staff assured us that we needn’t worry as it wasn’t busy because the boxing was on. We had drinks while we waited for our other guests and the staff where lovely and chatty. We ordered our food and it came quite quickly. The food was lovely and the portions where huge! We took some home with us as it was too nice to waste. The staff brought me out a cake my Mum had bought and sang happy birthday, it was lovely and I got a free cocktail. Would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back. The prices are good too, not too expensive definitely worth the money.

Ordered a few dishes from here last night and can say that the food was absolutely delicious. I opted for the 4 lamb chops that were marinated in an absolutely delicious and tasty rub and meatballs. my mate opted for a burrito. This is the second time we have experienced food from Mexican house, the first time being a visit there which was also very good. I would highly recommend as the food is definitely worth the price and food arrived on time and still warm enough to eat.

Warm welcome from Mexico house once you enter. Lovely food and drinks, enjoyed Authentic Mexican house Chilli. Recommended to all people

Was seated and food and drinks ordered with a polite young lady ( never caught her name, blonde hair). Our drinks arrived and sort my after our starters. We both had halloumi, they was ok. Then the disappointment started. 20 minutes till our next course. During this time we watch a lazy man ordering the young girl around. Answering phone calls serving drinks. I even noticed that while the girl was doing all of these things he seemed to think it was acceptable for kitchen staff to bring food out and leave on the bar until she would get it. You could her the bell ring from kitchen staff and no one went to get the food, and when it came out he still never took it to a table. Our main then came out. We had the Mexican house skewers. Prawns ok, lamb ok an the chicken was was very dry. I would not recommend this place. Food average and over priced. I would like to thank the young lady for that reason this is why I never gave this place a 1 out 5. Will not be returning

Visited Mexican house for a quiet Monday night meal out. We ate off the £9.99 two course set menu. What can I say, service great, starters and mains, delicious!!! If your looking for a Mexican restaurant give this place a try you won't be disappointed !

We were visiting Liverpool for a weekend for my birthday and it was terrible. We booked a table for 8pm thinking it would be really busy especially being a match day. Thete were on other party of 2 in there. The staff would rather have been elsewhere, our starters were missing the vital dip and it was an effort for them to get it. I had the lamv skewers and was very disappointed to find a thick black hair with a route on it in my food. I complained and advised that I could not eat the food now. The chef came out to tell me it was not a human hair but a brush hair as if that was ok. There was no apology and they didn't really seem to care. What should have been a great birthday meal with my boyfriend was bloody awful!!

Friendly, attentive staff and super good food. Serving size are extremely satisfying and great authentic Mexican tasting. I had a chicken skewers and my partner had authentic chilli Beef and we leftovers so happy. This is my second visit after a long time but my third visit will be soon.

Went there just to try it out, it's near my home address. I wasn't disappointed. The greeting I received was very warm and friendly. The menu was very comprehensive and fairly well described the food on offer. I had the spicy chicken wings and then had small meat filled empanadillas with spicy dip. I thoroughly recommend the meat skewers. Exceptional. Overall great tasty beautifully prepared food with real passion. Reasonably priced portions good. Food came to table in real time. Excellent value. Feel sad that this restaurant is slightly out of position it really deserves patronage

This is my last visit to Liverpool for this year ! As usual went to to the Mexican House Bar and Grill .Waiter and waitress were more welcoming. Recommended their authentic dish Chicken and Beef Mexiyani which is off the menu . We had beef Mexiyani and it was really tasty . I was surprised why it was not included in menu???

Very friendly staff. Jasmine & Jess were really good with service. Dileep the owner checks on all customers as well. The food was amazing. Cater for vegetarians & gluten free diets. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Liverpool.

Been here about 10 times. Been with my girlfriend, family and friends Food is delicious everytime. My favourite is the pulled pork chimichanga which melts in the mouth. My favourite restaurant so far.

Food is the best part which is obviously most important. The service wasn't the best, hence 4* and not 5*. Young girls didn't really seem that on the ball and this was at a really quiet time, Sunday evening. However, will definitely be going back as the food was absolutely lovely. With 2 young (4 & 8yrs old) kids as well who also enjoyed it.

Had a lovely time at this restaurant. Two in our party had pulled pork quesadillas ( other options include a vegetarian option or spicy beef) , two in our party had chipolte chicken taquitos( other options include a vegetarian option and pulled pork), one in our party had spicy chicken dippers. These were our starters. For our main meal one in our party had a pulled pork chimichanga ( other options include a vegetarian option, spicy beef,or chipolte chicken), two in our party had rack of ribs, two in our party had pulled pork burritos( other options include a vegetarian option, spicy beef) all of which came with salad and a choice of chips or wedges. One in our party had tacos of the main menu with meat. Four of our party had churros with chocolate and cream for dessert. Two of us had cocktails. All in all a very enjoyable meal. Our waitress Jessica was very friendly, attentive and professional. All our food and drinks were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First off the food was really nice and i would of give 4 star only for it being so unorganized first off we sat down from the off we felt like we were being rushed even tho the was very few ppl in the restaurant. We orderd are drinks an starters within minutes another waitress asked what we would like starters came out an were very nice as I said can not fault the food. Finished starters was asked are you ready for main asked could we have 10 min. Within 3 minutes was asked by another waitress are you ready for main yet so we just said yes at the end asked for bill was alot of faffing about then we hear one waitress say to another were is the bill what for them there was her reply which I found very unprofessional

We really enjoyed our meal on Friday at this Mexicans. We have been on several occasions they always go the extra mile and ensure that we have a good time. The menu is a huge and every meal I've had there tastes so good! My family surprised me with a birthday cake at the restaurant and the staff brought it out singing to me. Thank you!

Went this evening for the first time & definitely won't be the last. I let them know when booking for 14 that we had 3 birthday girls. My mum, my sister & my daughter. When we arrived the table was decorated with balloons & hats & ponchos were waiting for us. There was no rush we were able to eat, drink & relax for the whole evening. We had 2 toddlers who wanted to explore & they were accommodated perfectly. Fabulous evening & was surprised at the bill less than £20 per head for starters/ mains/ drinks. Oh and we took our own birthday cakes which they lit candles on and dimmed the lights with lots of birthday music. All in all just perfect

We live just around the corner from this restaurant, so we thought we try it.

Thought I'd try something new for a change. Usually it's Chinese or Indian but thought I'd give this place a go. We opted for a take away but when I got there wish I'd stayed to eat. The place is lovely, real vibe of Mexico from the colours of the walls the lighting and the music and the bar plus the guys working there. Can not fault it. The food However is another level. This food is the tastiest food I've ever had and I've tasted. Nachos with chill beefwow this food is sooooooo good you won't be disappointed. Get going peeps so this place stays open needs to be tried to be believed.

OMG this place is fabulous, Ive been a few times now and it just gets better. Food is to die for, I could eat there every night as everything Ive tried just amazes me. Decor and surroundings are great too.

Visited whilst in the area for the Open. Quiet Wednesday evening where we were the only diners (4 people).

This place has been open for a while by my house but went last night finally for my dad's 65th. The greeting was lovely, the waiter was very sweet courteous but not overpowering in any way. It was very clean. The food was amazing. It was very hot and very fresh. The salad was very fresh too. The was sample food to choose from with a wide ranging menu and good veggie collection. All good was divine and of the best quality. Had a few Mexicans around Liverpool city centre and this outdone all. Highly recommend !!!

We are fast become regulars to this fantastic restaurant, having tried a few Mexican restaurants in the area this is by far the best. Delicious generous portions all freshly prepared, lovely friendly welcome and service everytime, the cocktails are great too!!

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend for a dinner date, it was short and sweet. The restaurant itself is a nice attractive, well decorated, immaculate. Waitress and even the manager is very friendly and attentive. Mix fajita was my best, magrita was lovely. This is my first visit here. Really impressed will be back soon. Recommend every one to give a try.

Last weekend I had a pleasure of going out to dinner with my work colleague, and gladly enough, we were able to eat here again. One of my friend is a medical patient, he use to complain he rarely has any luck of finding the place that accommodate his long list of dietary allergies. But he was well suggested by the chef himself. I was so happy that my colleague really enjoyed my lovely place where I visit frequently. This is not my first or second, I am the frequent visitor of this hidden gems in our locality.

This restaurant is a hidden jem. Food was of excellent quality and portions were huge. Very reasonably priced with starters for about £5-£6 and mains from about £10-£12. The staff are really friendly and attentive; this really made the meal feel special. We had a fantastic evening and loved it so much we are going again this week.

Hands down best Mexican food in Merseyside. Been there many times. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and manager is a nice guy. On top the recent new menu covers many new dishes Empanadas, Pulled Pork Chimichanga, Lamb Chop with mango salad is really nice. Drinks are reasonably priced. Recommend every one to give a try

Visited again, booked a table for two this Friday. The food was delicious as usual, new menu with lost of new addition. This time I tried holloumi fajita, my wife she had naked chicken burrito which was really good. Beef Empanadas and creamy mushroom in white wine sauce were really great to start with. Highly recommended as always

Visited this evening, staff were really helpful and friendly, very clean, food was gorgeous, cocktails even better and to top it off very reasonably priced. Found out this evening they do take away so not only will I be visiting again I'll be ordering in the future.

We went on Wednesday evening and we were the only people in there. The waitress was nice, she smiled lots and we left her a tip cos we've worked in the industry ourselves and know how soul destroying a quiet restaurant is.
