Really tasty food. We shared the cold meze starter platter and the mixed grill platter. Plenty for three people. Great value for money.

Fui aquí con mi compañero y teníamos la parrillada mixta para compartir. La comida era de excelente calidad ya un precio muy razonable dado lo grande que era el tamaño de la porción. El personal era amable y nos dieron una porción extra de pan pitta y salsas para acompañar nuestra comida. En general, definitivamente recomendaría este lugar, nos fuimos satisfechos y muy llenos.

Apareció durante su estancia en la zona. La comida era excelente y la parrillada mixta para 2 era deliciosa y de gran valor. Parecía ser una buena fiesta en la trastienda y estaba triste por no haber sido informado sobre el Shisha. ¡Quizás somos demasiado cuadrados!

My favourite dish here is the lahmacun, as good as any one can get in any of the excellent establishments in Kadikőy in Asian Istanbul. Ideal for a lunchtime snack sitting in the outdoor area at the rear.

Place needs better ventilation but the falafel was very nice. Smoked the 'lion' flavoured tobacco which blew my mind.

Después de un agradable paseo por Greenwich queríamos tener una comida rápida y sabrosa, y estuvimos muy contentos con el almuerzo que hemos tenido en Mevali Shisha Bar. El falafel fue proporcionado rápidamente y sabía delicioso. Era nuestra comida más barata en Londres, sin embargo muy sabrosa. El lugar es acogedor y el personal es muy agradable!

Not sure how fresh the ingredients are but the food we had was tasty and portion sizes just about okay. The place needs better venting as it smells too smokey.

Vino con dos lados. Nos ofrecieron un entrante gratuito de hummus y pitta. Con dos coques, la factura total fue de 22. 80; una ganga Tiene un jardín cubierto de shisha para fumar en la parte trasera, que era muy popular. Está cerca de Cutty Sark, Greenwich Market y National Maritme Museum. Merece ser muy popular. Espero que lo sea.

We stopped in to this small Turkish restaurant for a quick lunch while touring Greenwich. Satisfactory surroundings, pleasant staff, good prices and good food. My wife had falafel in pita, and I had a double piri piri chicken wrap. Both were very good and we'd happily return.

Very good place for Mediterranean (Lebanese, Turkish) food and drinks. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

Probably the best kebab I've ever had, the meat was marinated beautifully! The Shisha was also very good Only issue is that it was extremely busy and we where put upstairs, where there were flies coming in from the open windows, and no air conditioning!

Al entrar en el restaurante, nos recibió un camarero que nos enseñó a nuestra mesa en una maner muy educado.

Pedí un mixto para llevar parrilla dos veces y estaba delicioso. Brochetas de cordero, pollo y carne picada, bien sazonada y marinada y bien preparado. El cordero shawarma pasamos unos restos carbonizados pedazos, pero me gusta esta forma. Sería mucho más fácil si ellos aceptan pagos con tarjeta. En general, la comida deliciosa a la parrilla. No sentarse, así que no puedo comentar sobre el servicio, etc.

Visité Mevali Restaurante Jueves 16 de febrero alrededor de las 1 de la tarde, con mis dos hijos. . En primer lugar, el chico asiático en la cocina estaba gritando a la camarera tan fuerte, no sé si él es el chef o no como él no estaba vestido como chef. Si tienes una cocina abierta como este u mantener algunos de los clientes, teniendo en cuenta la profesionalidad a su alrededor. Este comportamiento repugnante era claramente se refleja en la cara de camarera mientras ella estaba muy enfadado. Mis hijos estaban sorprendidos de ver eso. Que la señora vino a mi mesa yacía ella. Y yo le pregunté si ella está bien o no. 'Yah todo está bien, y lo que quieres, pregunté a la camarera mam? '.

Fuimos como un grupo de tres y nos quedamos decepcionados con el servicio y la calidad de los alimentos. Los precios parecían muy bien para la zona y estaba medio vacío, lo cual fue una ventaja que en todos lados estaba lleno. fuimos aquí, ya que era vegetariano, un amigo era musulmán y el otro simplemente le gusta la buena comida. Todos pedimos un falafel, ya que es una buena comida social y todos podemos participar. Siendo un lugar libanés e y su publicidad en la ventana para buena falafel hizo una venta. Sin embargo no tenían falafel, debería haber ido en ese punto, es como una tienda de café sin café. De todos modos, reordenados y uno tenía una envoltura hulumi y los otros tenían una berenjena y garbanzos. Cuando llegamos estaban muy básico y sosa, no había experiencia spice libanesa. La berenjena envuelve tenía sobre 1 cubo de verduras y un par de garbanzos, La fiesta fue un tomate). El único punto de ahorro t era un buen té de menta. En resumen muy pobre, tomar conciencia de las señales de advertencia. Añadir el servicio era pobre, y no educación o de bienvenida. No vamos a volver.

Where do I start? The quality of the food is amazing. The service is warm and welcoming. The shisha in the garden is exceptional, this is my regular spot where I come and socialise with friends and with the workers. I highly recommend this place to anyone as its a family zone as well as a place to meet up with friends.

Great service served by a young man. Was very helpful in deciding with the flavour. He then went ahead and made the flavour. It was exceptional. I highly recommend this place and if you would like brilliant assistance and amazing shisha then ask for the young man working.

I dropped in for a quick bite to eat in the early evening. I recommend the meze wrap - very tasty indeed.

We go here almost twice a month and love it each time. It's the most affordable and good quality shisha in this part of London. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The food isn't left behind either, the wraps in particular are tasty and filling. The shisha space has heaters in the winter and so is cozy all year round. All in all highly recommended!

Ordered my meal at 8pm, was given a delivery time of 8.45pm after which my meal still had not arrived. Decided to give them a little longer but still no food by 9.15pm. Tried calling to see where my food was but only got through to them at 9.27pm to be told by a lady with extremely poor broken English that all orders take 1.5 hours! In that case why do they provide 45 minute waiting times?? She then proceeded to tell me that the food was already dispatched and will be with me in 15 minutes - i realise the delivery driver may of had a few drops to make before me but the food was only just warm when we received it. With regard to the food, well the tabouleh was appalling in quantity, we were provided with approx 1.5 table spoons worth for £4.50 - not enough for two people to share. The traditional bread was supplied in the plastic bag they bought it from their wholesalers - hence it was cold on arrival and looked amazing in its lovely packaging! The mixed grill and falafel would've been nice had it been warmer but unfortunately eating slightly warm grilled food isn't what we were hoping for! All in all a waste of money!

Food was great, the felafal were too dry but the stuffed vine leaves were delicious and the aubergine in the meze wrap was very tasty- I recommend it with the halloumi. Bread soggy in the fattoush salad but dressing was very good- very authentic. Would definitely order here again

The cold meze didn't taste like it usually dose but could of been a different blend but I will order again as its delicious! Delivery guy is a nice guy to!

We actually went in and sat down but soon left as it seemed dirty. We sat upstairs which is not very nice and could do with a good clean. We were given some manky disgusting laminated paper menu that looked about 5 years old, it was dog eared and peeling and rotten. We got up and left. The food might have been very nice but the place just seemed too dirty. If you place a menu in a customers hand the least you can do is make sure its clean and presentable.

We dropped into Mevalis on a recommendation from a friend for the best shawarma in town. The café is a real no frills place but the food is great. We enjoyed a couple of mezes (halloumi and vine leaves) which were full of flavour and the chicken and lamb shawarmas - lived up to expectations, really tasty and big portions! The shawarma is made with lovely fresh tasting flatbread, lots of meat, salad and some delicious dips (a garlic and spicy tomato). You won't leave hungry. Service was friendly and efficient.

Waited way too much + cold and dry food + no organisation at all. Not worth iy. Ordered at 8pm.. delivery was due at 9pm.. then called us saying they would be late of 30 mins + no lamb as they run out (not prepared to receive more orders on Sat night? Really?).. at 09:40pm no food yet.. called them.. they had no drivers available!! Food arrived at 10pm cold and dry, and even if we were hungry we left most of it. Also, no drinks or a little extra to apologise or "thank" us given our £58 order! We were very disappointed. Never again.

They had ran out of chicken wings but rang within 2 minutes to tell me and ask what we wanted instead. They definitely more than made up for it with all the replacements. Great customer service!

It took 1hr 45min from ordering for our food to arrive. When we called the restaurant to get an update we were told the delivery driver had left "ages ago", which left us concerned about the freshness and temperature of our food. Sure enough, when it finally arrived, the food was like warm at best. The halloumi was rubbery and the falafels were dry. The salads and cold dishes were good. We felt the food at this restaurant would probably be quite decent if you were eating in but we wouldn't order takeaway or home delivery from them again.

We've wanted to visit Mevali for a while and today we visited. The service was friendly and relatively speedy. They did lose my main order, but apologised and my food arrived quickly after. The food is Tasty Lebanese mezze and the prices reasonable. Some of the reviews have pointed out the decor, to be honest it's ok. They don't sell alcohol but operate a BYO policy. Luckily there's an off-licence next door. There's a lovely Shisha tent behind the restaurant. Fully covered and heated, there's a good choice of flavours. Definitely will visit again.

Lovely food, good portion sizes although very sparing with the flat bread for the hummus we ordered. (1 between two people).

Meal:I really enjoyed the grilled halloumi as it was just salty enough, not overbearing. The hommous was also great. What was really a surprise was the portions sizes though, I received roughly six, 3X3X3 cm cubes of chicken in the Shish Taouk, along with rice, salad, two different dipping sauces and lebanese bread (similar to pita). The main was £8.95 and the starters (Meze) was £4.50. Although the starter was a bit expensive considering the amount you get the main meal more than made up for it. Environment:You would definitely go for the food and not the decor (do not take a first date there) it is mostly pretend or cheap wood panelling. I only sat downstairs next to the grill though so upstairs might be better.Service:The woman who served us was very nice, quick and it was easy to grab her attention.Overall if you do not care about what the place looks like and you are looking for good value for money (particularly in London), I would recommend it.

Looking for something different or an evening meal, this is definitely a place to try. The deco is almost behind basic, but cosy. I have the lamb burger, which I had asked to be without cheese, but it came with cheese, which they quickly dealt with and I really enjoyed my meal. It was an interesting place to eat being one of the narrowest restaurants I have ever been in. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful throughout. I was tempted to take a takeaway also, but as I was full I did not. Though I wish I had returned the next day for lunch, instead of going to another place in Greenwich, which did not go well. Worth a visit for tasty Lebanese food.

The food from Mevali is always wonderful. They do get very busy so the wait is often a long one. However, more than once we've had either the owner or his daughter jump in the car to help out the delivery driver and get food to us on time. Highly recommended!

When this place is on form nothing comes close. Tonight they were on form. Delicious. Hot. Before time. Can't complain with that. And the food is incredible. Keep it up.

Food took over 1hr 40mins from greenwich to hither green, met with terrible customer service and the food was really dry.

The good came in 18minutes although quoted an hour , great portion sizes and was some of the best food I've had in a long while! This will be my new local takeaway service

Shishi is good. Service is average. Decor is terrible. Seats are uncomfortable. Reasonably priced. Needs a lot of improvement.

We sat out the back in the covered outside area. A bit utilitarian. However the food was warm and tasty, in particular the wraps. Not licensed so no beer available. All in all I would come back.

DO NOT ORDER from here ever! Food was late and freezing when it arrived. Not that it would have been edible warm. We asked for a refund and was told by a very rude manager that they would be coming back to collect the food. I asked if they were going to resell it and was rudely told that I had no right to know what he did with his food. Disgusting.

This was my first time ordering, the food was fantastic, I was happily surprised and will definitely be ordering from them soon again!

Looks like a standard kebab place, but walk past the counter and you'll find tables in the back in an area which a cross between a back room and a courtyard. There are lots of meze dishes, hot and cold, in good portions for £4.50 each, and most of them vegetarian. But the best value must be the wraps, which are bulging and bursting with ingredients and so a bit hard to eat! Most customers are enjoying a shisha, but you won't feel out of place if that's not for you.

Spending a few days in Greenwich and pooped in for a bite to eat in what is advertised as "The oldest building in Greenwich". They don't serve alcohol but do serve really good food freshly cooked to order on a charcoal grill. Would recommend it to anyone fancying a change from the norm.

Terribly small portions and food not great. 4.50 for Hummus is an absolute joke. Chips were soggy and the Foul Moudamas is certainly Foul. I have never felt so ripped off in my life.

Nice food, wish you guys had option to buy tubs of sauces on the menu. Earned yourselves a visit :)

This place is very small and looks bit of a dump but the food is excellent. The service was very polite and helpful but the food did take much longer to arrive than anticipated given that there weren't that many people in the restaurant. Worth waiting for though! The wraps we had were reasonably priced, very large and more importantly very tasty.
