Memories of India Bosham in Chichester

We had a lovely family dinner at Memories of India whilst staying in the area. Glad we booked as it was busy, and we could see why as the food and service were great.

This has been our favourite curry house for many years. I'm delighted to say the food still tastes so good. Freshly cooked and can really taste the individual ingredients. Whether you dine in or have a take away the standard is the same. Can highly recommend the Jinga Maacher Molai curry and Kashmiri rice as it should be, full of fresh fruit. Great quality prawns. Everything was tip top. Thank you !

The food was lovely however my husband got his starter as a starter where as mine came with the mains. Also we had to ask twice for an additional plate for our child (as of we'd not feed him?) And then we're just given a side plate. They then started to remove plates as we were still eating and brought the desert menu before I finished my main. They also then told us how much to tip at the end. Overall the bad service outweighed the food which was nice but average.

We went here as it’s close by but to be honest it’s not the best Indian I’ve had. The waiter is very annoying the minute you sit down you want to leave! The food is average the building is outdated and in great need of renovation If you want a good curry look elsewhere is my view.

Had a lovely themed evening at Memories. For such a large event the food was of a very high standard and plentiful. The Elvis tribute was great fun and all the guests took part in one way or another. Unfortunately the service was a bit chaotic and lacking leadership. This was soon forgotten once the excellent starters arrived and a little more beer.

We dine at the Memories of India as often as we can. The food is good. The staff are very good and go to great lengths to give good service Most important he remember us fro a previous visit and make us welcome.

We went to Memories of India for my birthday. The place was quiet (Sunday lunch time) which we loved! The food is absolutely amazing, the best Indian food I have had in a long time. The service was great, the people are friendly and nothing is too much trouble to please the customers.

Really enjoyed the Abba tribute night. The drinks and food were served quickly and efficiently. Even though there were so many to serve, the food was of the usual high standard. The atmosphere in the place was one of pure fun and enjoyment. Including the staff singing along to the well-known songs and even on occasion dancing with the customers. Great value for food and live music. Well done to all at Memories. Looking forward to the next one.

Friend from work turned 30 and invited the team to join his family for a curry…we were a big table of 20….fantastic service by staff very patient attention to detail they were wonderful….the food was fantastic I had a King prawn byriani and I like a side of tikka masala sauce with the vegetable curry it was beautiful perfect Nan bread no oily curry on any of our plates and all out together….would I travel over to Bosham for a night out at Memories of India again ABSOLUTELY!!

I have been coming to this restaurant for years - no, decades - with friends and family and have enjoyed consistently good food. Lots of choice and friendly staff. Strongly recommended.

Excellent food and service. Went out of their way to accommodate our large group and all the meals arrived quickly and efficiently. This is the restaurant I regularly go to as the vegetarian choices are the best. Highly recommend.

We ordered a takeaway so can’t comment on the restaurant itself. However, the food was excellent. It was very fresh and tasty. Very wide menu offered.

Visited Friday 30th September for dinner for two. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the meal was lovely. We ordered: Poppadums, Two naan breads (delicious), Two special friend rices ( very very tasty), saag paneer (gorgeous) a chicken dupiaza (mild and delicious) and a chicken patia (which wasn't the best). It's not the cheapest Indian you'll ever find and I feel the poppadum's and side dishes are a tad over priced but the curries, rice, bread, drinks etc were perfectly priced- no issue here. The only thing that slightly let the meal down in my eyes was my partner's curry which was a little bland, which perhaps we should have mentioned as I am sure the staff would have sorted for us. We will definitely return, I would recommend a visit to anyone!

The staff were welcoming and remained attentive, without being obtrusive, throughout our meal. The four of us ordered differently and all our dishes were spot on and fully satisfying. It is a very competitive priced menu, too. We will return.

Ou first visit here today. Excellent service. They had Panir Makanwla but they added vegetables for me at my request. It was delicious. I would definitely have Veg Panir Makanwla again. It was lovely sitting in the conservatory.
