Steaks & food in general was amazing & the portion size was huge! Couldn’t finish it but I’m not complaining. Staff were friendly too. Prices very reasonable considering the size of the steaks.

Lovely fried steak, taste and juice were top notch. Service is also top class and the atmosphere was good and cozy.

Ordered 2 24 oz t-bone medium rare, and it was closer to rare. Half of it was just fat. 2 well-done entrecote were not bad, and the chips were bland. The baked potato was nothing special either. Not seasoned enough. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was good and helpful. Very expensive compared to the quality of food. The people working there are very nice but the food is not worth it. I do not recommend this place.

I have been many times before and after covid. The food here has never changed. I LOVE IT! Massive steaks and Argentine beer. What else can one want!?

Absolutely fabulous, everything was perfect, staff were excellent, the steaks were out of this world, I'd rather do this once in a while than settle for something average, highly recommend

Outstanding food ,great atmosphere

Got the mixed grill, get a nice steak on the grill, which in most restaurants would be 30 pound on its own. Mixed grill was only 31 pound! Well worth it

The meal was very average. Chicken was tasty and the steak was alright but the ribs were rock hard & dry impossible to cut them using your knife and didn’t taste nice . AND THEY DONT ASK HOW YOU WANT YOUR STEAK DONE ( first time in a steak restaurant ? ) Service was also really off putting - the staff came to my table (not to ask me how was the food) but to ask me if I needed anything like an extra side plate or something. I get it could be perceived as being ‘ caring ‘ but it was done 4 times in the space of less than half an hour which is very uncomfortable. It was also not done in a friendly or smiling way - but as a ‘ side eye / obligated to ask way ‘ which was seemed judgemental. Notwithstanding being stared down as a single customer , I would advise against coming to Meet. Liverpool has excellent steak restaurants this is not one of them.

This is the 2nd time here and I couldn't recommend it enough, we were here for my daughters 21st and again the food was amazing and the staff were great. Nice little surprise at the end for my daughter, thank you so much. That little touch made a huge difference for my daughter.

We were early afternoon so was quiet. Food and service were equally excellent.

The best place to eat meat as if it were in Buenos Aires. The quality of the food was spectacular, very abundant and tasty, the service was impeccable, we had a time with my family like nowhere else. Excellent attention from Ichi, very attentive, helpful, and friendly. When I am here I will undoubtedly return. I wish you the best successes, which are more than deserved!!!

This is my favourite place to eat. The food is absaloutley gorgeous, the atmisphere is really nice and everything is so clean and fresh. Service is also always fantastic. Highly recommended.

Came here yesterday, haven't been for a while. But it is still the best steakhouse in Liverpool. Me and my partner both had sirloin steaks with peppercorn sauce. And chocolate brownie with ice cream and caramel sauce, it was all sooooo delicious. And the staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble thank-you. Everytime we go it's always busy, that's when you know it's a good restaurant aswell 🙂. If you love steak and have not been here before, definitely go and try it, you will not be disappointed.

Nice place. Good spec in town. Facing a car park too. T bone steak was gorgeous. I had well done and was still tasty. Partner said her chicken dish was a little too greasy. Staff were really nice and helpful.

This was the second time that I visited Meet Argentinian restaurant. I have had two different types of meat, and the food has been lovely both times. I will most definetly come back for a good meal next time I am in Liverpool! Thank you!

We ordered a Tomahawk steak and were very disappointed. Every mouthful was very fatty and seemed like a cheap cut of meat. Manager didn't seem that bothered when we complained. Don't bother.

І це супер, бо в приміщенні немає ані диму, ані запаху смаженого мʼяса, навпаки дуже приємний запах. Ввічливі офіціанти. Ми брали стейки з салатом. Досить велика порція. Це була суцільна насолода. Звичайно це коштувало досить відчутно, але воно того варте. Залюбки повернуся сюди при нагоді.

Lovely place with a great atmosphere. Meals were excellent apart from the jacket potato which was a bit "old" and steamed. No big deal though, I'd eat here again.

Best steak i have tasted service wasnt the best.but i would say they took the drinks and the extras we ordered off the bill because of the service

Nice and eat food looks amazing

We went recently and the food was very nice. The only issue we had is that the beer was off and it was soon fixed and fresh beer was brought to us.

Chef cooked the steaks to perfection. The bar below.....Jurgen bar...was great....staff are fab. X

I asked for spare ribs and they served me meat cook in the oven not the grill. 10 min to get bread and another 15 to get a soda. And there were only 4 tables with customers.

Ordered ribs They came with been grilled not a grill mark on these ribs complained got told the chef says the ribs can’t be grilled I am a South African by heart and I know you can grill ribs

Went there last night, quite busy early on. Our waiter was from Argentina so we were in good hands .He knew his stuff.Recommended ribeye on the bone. Cooked right like we'd just ordered. We had some argentinians beers, first time ever. Good stuff. Lovely meal and great service . We'll be back

Meatballs to start, as expected. T bone ribeye main was good, not exceptional. Sangria was reasonably priced. Service was excellent and staff very friendly

Been here 9/10 times over the last couple of years and it's not what it was. I have seen recent reviews are hit and miss and last night was really poor and the attitude of who I think was the manager is as bad as some other people have commented. The steak was chewy and bland, I suspect the meat either hadn't been bought to room temp prior to cooking or it was a cheaper cut. Really really poor, we highlighted the issue and was told I'll get you another one with a shrug of the shoulders but no apology and as it was all 3 of us who had the same problem and we didn't have time to wait for another steak to be cooked we made up our mind then we just wouldn't return. At the same time of our complaint we witnessed the table opposite also complaining so we was not the only table getting served up sub par food. I would never go again now or recommend the place like I have done in the past and with Gusto opening up around the corner and cowshed doing well I'd be amazed if they are here in a year or so. Save your money, there is much better options available and that's sad to say as some of the staff over the years have been lovely and if your the owner take action and bin off that poor excuse of a manager before your business gets run into the ground.

The Parillada is an absolute bang for your buck, easily plenty of food for 2 people, a ton of food and it was absolutely delicious. The beef ribs were my favorite, they were extremely tender, to-die-for level delicious. The pork ribs were fall-off-the-bone and great too. Best meal I've had in a long time.

After waiting a long time, and being a massive steak fan, I went to meet. It ended up being a complete waste of time and money. The food was cold, the meat taste like it was frozen and was not cooked right. When we made the manager aware of this seems extremely rude was not understanding whatsoever I wouldn’t return again, I’d recommend anyone to look else were for steak! Hawksmoor, Miller and Carter and the cowshed are within the same area and have a higher standard of staff and food:

The restaurant is showing its age!! Service OK, happy waitress, I've got to say that I've travelled around USA and Europe, and the ribeye steak in the bone was the best ribeye steak I've had

Great dining experience. The prices are okay and the portions are large. The waitresses was friendly and professional. I would recommend and I would definitely go back to.

Simply the premier steak in Liverpool

Good food and attentive service. I had the lamb and it was cooked perfectly. -1 star because even though they seemed to have a full bar, they couldn't make any drink that wasn't listed in their (rather small) menu. I just wanted a classic martini, but the server couldn't order one for me with their system.

Super leckeres Abendessen. Mehrere Gänge probiert, es war alles lecker. Dank Vorbereitung hat das Lokal eine tolle Überraschung für unser Geburtstagskimd gemacht. Gerne wieder, das Personal ist klasse. Etwas hochpreisig aber okay.

I had a mixed grill that was fatty when I queried with the manager he was very unhelpful and very dismissive in fact his attitude stunk, would not rate the food or their customer service. The price you pay compared to the service you received was despicable@!!@

Amazing food, lovely staff, recommend a visit.

We had the empanadas to start. They were tangy, tasted off and definitely not freshly made. However they were hot and arrived quickly, the taste let them down. We also shared the surf and turf. The steak came out blue even though we ordered medium rare and when we asked them to cook it a bit longer it came back rare. We did eat some of it but it wasn’t pleasant as it wasn’t what we asked for. The server/ manager who brought back the steak told us he would come and check the steak was okay but he never did which was a bit of a let down. The scampi was okay and the prawns were decent but they did smell very fishy so I didn’t eat them. Overall the service was great but for the price (e.g. £4.50 for garlic butter that had no garlic in it) and quality of food I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Food was OK nothing special for me got a rib eye and fillet steak the fillet had more fat than the fillet but overall ok

This has long been my favourite Liverpool restaurant but tonight they went above and beyond to accommodate our autistic son and his specific needs. Nothing was too much trouble for them, we couldn't be more appreciative, thank you so much!

Really accommodating calling up late on Tuesday night. Arrived, atmosphere and attentiveness of staff was excellent. My son and I went big on the ribeye. 34oz I think it was. Cooked perfectly throughout which, for such a big piece of meat, is excellent. The house Malbec was great too. Overall, can't fault the meal. It was gorgeous and we both left in meat coma heaven.

We will never coming back again. I ordered a nice tomahawk steak (£46) for my birthday turn out the steak was off. Im a chef so I know when a steak have been left out for hours or is too old. The smell was like death rat 🐀 so disgusting. I spoke with what I believe was the manager on shift he was like I can't smell anything!!!! He even took the steak to the kitchen and told me to go there to smell it again as he didn't want that others customers listing what i was saying. This guy obviously doesn't know how to run a bussines and he was traying to blame me and tras to say I was lying. Now 2 days after I still feeling sick!! as I got food poison. Shame as this was my family fav steak house. Now we will never come back ever again. Ps : the starters we ordered never made it to the table as they forgot them too 😒🙄

Everything was amazing from the traditional music, to the service and the unbelievable fillet steak I had wich was cooked to perfection and was literally melting in the mouth.

Ribeye steak was ok ordered medum rare,but part of is was very well done and hed gristle running through it. Frozen chips are dry. I was bored half way through the meal which for me is very unusual. My wife had the same as me but said her stake was nice but said the same about the chips and board of it. Disappointed!

They cook with gas, the Argentine grill is with charcoal, the meat must have a special smoky flavor. The filling of the empanadas only has meat, no egg or onion. The manager is Uruguayan, and when customers ask him about Patagonia, he tells them that Montevideo is more beautiful. They add cilantro to the chimichurri. This is a fake Argentinian Resto

My father and I were in Liverpool to celebrate his birthday and for Father's Day. We booked Meet for Monday night at 6.30pm. We were seated immediately and every server who attended us was so incredibly friendly and helpful but they didn't hover or make you feel like you were on a timer. I ordered the 12oz rump steak with chips and my Dad ordered the 14oz rib eye on the bone. We both ordered them medium and they came out perfectly cooked to order and the seasoning was amazing. I've never had such a beautifully seasoned steak before. I ordered pepper sauce with my meal and honestly, as nice as it was, the steak didn't need anything added to make it better. Along with chips, all steaks are served with a lovely fresh salad and homemade chimichurri dipping sauce which was incredible!! After our plates were cleared, the staff very kindly brought out cake for my Dad's birthday and sang to him! I ordered the Nutella and Oreo Cheesecake which was so delicious I was sorry I was too full to finish it!! Meet is a must visit if you're in the area!!

Danny took wonderful care of us. Food was expertly prepared, and took us back to Buenos Aires or Mendoza. Unpretentious, just how we like it. Highly recommend.

My mom and I are both Argentinian and we went here expecting the food to be sub-par, but it absolutely exceed our expectations! The menu is diverse, I ate some fried empanadas and la enslada de gambas (prawns salad) which I highly recommend. My mom had steak with some cheese and house salad and she really enjoyed it which surprised me because she’s pretty critical about places that have food from her country. Admittedly, we spent most of our time talking to the lovely staff there, most of which are South American. We had long conversations with like 3 different staff members speaking Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese and honestly they might as well have just pulled up another seat and sat with us to have dinner, because we had a lot of fun talking to them. (We currently live in the US and we are in the UK on vacation, so being in a foreign country and speaking our native language was certainly a treat) The wait times for food weren’t long at all, and the service was good. This is definitely the place to go to for genuine argentine food in the UK! Also if its your birthday, the entire staff will sing to you while happy birthday plays on the speakers XD

Came here without a reservation and as it had just opened (just gone 5) and it was early, we were seated straight away. We were quickly shown the menu and made outr selection. To start we shared a garlic bread with cheese. For the mains we ordered a medium rump and the same again but with the fried onions and stilton cheese and an extra side of grilled asparagus.The garlic bread I thought was a bit on the small side but was quite nice. Our mains quickly followed and we noticed there were no fried onions with the order to which the menu suggests but, it was nt a huge issue so we didn't say anything. Both came with a side salad and fries/baked potato included in the price which is nice as lots of places charge extra for these. Our starter was £5 and the basic rump £20 the one with stilton I think £22. Both were nice but nothing extraordinarily stand out. My partner particularly liked the asparagus. I didn't like the chimichurri at all and have found other places serve better but again this was complimentary so can't complain about that. The ambience we both agreed was really nice and the service was very efficient.

Excellent meal choices. Good wine selection and desserts were to be indulged. Waiter was knowledgeable and entertaining. Without him we wouldn't have had such a fun evening.

Excellent steak good value. Staff fine could have been slightly more attentive Atmosphere it was early evening very quiet so no real atmos.

Asked for medium steak and it was rare, asked for it to be cooked a bit more and still came back rare, was expecting more considering the price, certainly won't be going back, not impressed at all 👎

Came here because of the reviews and was really disappointed with the food. Ordered asado for 2 and it was just disappointing. Meat was dry , very chewy, pork ribs were covered in a sauce that tasted like ketchup, deserts are below average as well. Service is good but that’s it . You pay more for the location than for the food . We thought that when you pay £45 for a bottle of wine , food should be very good quality. But it s far from it . They also give you salads and mash which were blank . Disappointing …

Absolut den bästa restaurangen jag ätit på när det kommer till kött. Mycket trevlig personal, och köttet är mycket väl tillagat och gott på riktigt. Det som kan upplevas som lite negativt är att musiken som spelas i bakgrunden kan vara något för hög, och så var det för oss förra gången vi åt. Men denna gången var det inga problem att samtala under måltiden . Jag återkommer garanterat när vi är i stan för lite fotboll 😀👍👍

The vibe was chic, the food real nice and the staff average as they looked a bit harried and the dining experience didn't feel very personal.

Highly recommend Meet, an Argentinian restaurant in Liverpool. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The food was amazing and they surprised our Son playing ‘Happy Birthday’ on the p.a. system and brought him a piece of chocolate cake with a candle. Great evening and lovely way to celebrate a 21st. Thanks guys.

We was a party of six we all had a starter and main meal 2 had a sharing dish. Everyone was really happy with the friendly service and delicious food. There was not one single complaint. Steaks were cooked lovely. Been here on quite a few occasions and definitely be here again as guaranteed to have a fabulous meal in s great place. Reccomend Meet restaurant to anybody who enjoys a top notch steak
