Rushed to order & finish food. Had no flavour. Order came incomplete and had to ask for items we had ordered. Servers rubbish service

Mediterranean Breeze will provide you with the best fresh and expertly cooked fish in London, accompanied by generous servings of delicious salad, and fabulous chips and all brought to your table by wonderfully helpful, caring and affectionate host. I urge you to try it. My husband and I had a fantastic dinner there last night, in fact the sardines I ordered were so fresh, plump, and well grilled (crunchy skin and plump, and juicy inside and covered with garlic) that I ate absolutely everything, including the heads and the bones! and my husband delighted in his whole sea bass too. We can´t remember the last time we enjoyed a meal of such fresh fish in London, and we´ve lived here for over 25 years. Thank you Toni, you are a lovely man, and the people working in your kitchen are experts at their jobs. Looking forward to coming back already. The rose was a marvelous touch too, and I´m still smiling.

This place was just lovely. The sea food was fresh and very tasty and the service was so welcoming. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to all my friends!

I was there a couple times and have not tasted anything like that before! It's so delicious, the food taste like home made. And the fact that it is a family business is just amazing. The couple who runs the business for many years have always a smile on their face. I am Turkish myself and believe that I am very picky when it comes to Turkish food, I would always recommend and go back. You have to try it!

A friend and I stumbled on to this neighbourhood restaurant by chance; no research, no booking, no expectations. We were then blown away by the quality of the food: wonderfully fresh fish, beautifully cooked. The service is also exemplary. I've always enjoyed calamari, but this was by far the best I've ever had: truly succulent and juicy. The mussels were almost as good, and the sea bream kept up the standard. The spiced quince with ice cream made a nice change from baclava in a Turkish restaurant (they still threw in some baclava). The owner, Tony, provides excellent recommendations — make sure you take them! He knows what's fresh that morning, and how his wife cooks it. The bill comes hand-written, and Tony forgot to include the wine (obviously I corrected him). I can't remember the last time a restaurant bill made a mistake in the customers' favour! No service charge is included, and it deserves a lot more than the usual 12.5%. This is a wonderful, old-fashioned restaurant, run by a charming old couple, committed to maintaining old-fashioned standards. The food is more than great and the prices more than reasonable. Service is personal, honest and responsive (providing Tony turns his hearing aid on). Tony warns you if anything you wanted was bought in, rather than home-made. Why don't unassuming but wonderful restaurants like this get Michelin stars?

Excellent! I've been here a few times for take-away bulgur köfte (not on the menu but they make them fresh to order) but decided to sit in and eat this evening. I did my usual of a few starters rather than a big meal and SO glad that I did. Everything was freshly cooked, the kalamar (calamari) was beautifully seasoned and very tender, the patlican soslu (aubergine in tomato sauce) was so umami that I almost couldnt stop! The whole whitebait were almost as good as my mother makes, lovely falafel and absolutely sublime köfte! House wine is more than palatable and they have my favourite beer, Efes. Topped off with Turkish coffee and a glass of rakı. Five stars. No doubt.

I am very happy with the service and the food. This is the best restaurant that I have ever been in. The food is freshly made and it tastes great. I am very happy from the service and the restaurant in general.

Had hot meze starter. Pan fried anchovy. Grilled whole sea bream. All very fresh tasty. Good service welcoming to kids. Nice new decor. Extensive menu. Will visit again

Incredible place. Sea bass was amazing, kebab was great and the man who served us was super friendly. The food is up there if not the best of green lanes Turkish restaurants. Also gave us complimentary oysters, bread and olives. Will be going back for sure.

The food was delicious! Halloumi kebab would have again. Will be returning asap. Service was friendly and really helpful.

WHAT A FANTASTIC EVENING!!! we organised a surprise 80th birthday for my father in law, for 12 people, and we had a fantastic evening, great food, oysters fish meat, and vege plenty of vino etc!! Service excellent, Tony and his wife were amazing,, thanks Tony for helping pull this of, as we live in Southampton, so arranged everything by phone!! Recommend this superb restaurant so come on give Tony a try!!!!

We came here for dinner on a Tuesday and initially were the only customers. Even so, the restaurant had a warm, friendly ambience and the owner/server was very welcoming. Real candles on the tables was another nice touch. I ordered a mix of chicken, lamb and beef cooked over charcoal, with salad and rice. The food was very tasty, with a wonderful mix of complementary flavours. My partner ordered scampi provencal, which had just the right amount of spice. The choice of wines was limited but most acceptable. Overall we found the meal delicious and the experience very enjoyable. We'd certainly recommend dining here - you won't be disappointed.

This was my third visit to this restaurant, which is in my neighbourhood. This time we brought a group of friends for a Birthday celebration. There were eight of us, and we were thoroughly spoiled with complimentary oysters on arrival, and a free bottle of wine at the end of our meal. The food arrived fresh and hot, and everyone enjoyed it. I don't think the word has spread yet about how good this place is. There are many Turkish restaurants in the area, but it is nice to have one specialising in fish. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Try it!.

Booked 10 minutes in advance at 9pm for about 20 people. We've received a great welcoming, even 4 more friends showed up. The owner and waitresses hurried preparing tables and serving lovely food. Great price for super fresh fish and huge portions!

First class Turkish cuisine, the best quality ingredients, fresh fish, all deliciously cooked! If you want to have a good meal, look no further!

Habíamos estado yendo a este restaurante por muchos años y luego nos decepcionamos cuando Tony entregados a un nuevo propietario.

Visitamos a la familia y Tony nos trataron tan bien, el plato era abundante y fresca, toda la carne era tierna y ensaladas era zingy y luminoso. Música suave, fácil para hablar sin ser oída. Los baños son muy limpios, sin duda, volveremos la próxima vez para otra comida deliciosa.

Dejó en la zona informal después de dejar 12 años antes. Tony, el propietario, de inmediato me reconoció y me trataron y mi amigo que me había venido a visitar como reyes. Bass hermoso mar fresco y el besugo por su camarera sirve impecable, junto con ensalada, caseros y terminado de dolomades con un gran brandy de cortesía. Puedo ser un poco parcial, pero buena comida a precios razonables. . . . pruébalo.

Uncle Tony is the perfect host. We had both a fish and a meat main course, both cooked beautifully on hot coals. We will definitely be again!

Tony is the perfect old style host....so welcoming...delicious fresh fish, lovely white wine....fantastic portions .... beautiful salad....absolutely customer comes first....truly professional and loves to do a good job.....a class act...certainly value for money.

I was so impressed by Mediterranean Breeze and have been back with friends and family. Incredibly delicious food, great portions, good value, great for families but also friends and intimate dinners too. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!!

This is the place you want in your neighbourhood. Good menu, great portions and a mixture of plain grilled fish and traditional Turkish specials. Everything felt fresh and the quality of the ingredients shone through - it was a relief to be able to order a simple grilled fish and thoroughly enjoy it. Wine was delicious too and service perfect. Mrs Tony is the chef and it feels like home cooking. We'll definitely be going back.

I have just come back from a family meal at this restaurant. It has only been open about a week. It has been beautifully decorated and refurbished. The food is amaxing. They have a varied menu of fresh fish including salmon, sea bream, see bass etc. They have a full and varied meat section. They also have a variety of vegetsrian meals. The food is freshly cooked and the portions are very generous. The staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Tony the owner who can't do enough to make you feel welcome. There were seven of us in our party and we all cleared our plates...beautiful and tasty well cooked food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a good meal. We will definitely be going back for more. Thank you Tony and everyone at Mediterranean Breeze for a GREAT NIGHT.
