Mcdonald's Restaurants in South Lanarkshire

Some of our order was missing, frustrating after asking if the items were included in the boxes. I should have double checked but its basic stuff to get an customers order right.

Loved the big Cheesy Burger, which is no longer available. Had a McCrispy instead. Mostly bread crumbs with a very slim piece of chicken in between fries were cool. Fanta was good.

Waited 20 mins for a cup of tea and a coffee, our number came and went on the board and we still hadn’t been served! Nobody shouting out numbers. Food lying on counter going cold before collected! No wonder we didn’t get a receipt, so you can’t fill in the survey!

This McDonald's needs a good clean. Twice they got the order wrong.and the babyroom was closed. The toilets are a disgrace. Money before cleanliness SHOCKING

The usual good service. Easy to order. Food was freshly prepared and good.

Cheese burger bun was a bit chugh

Just got delivery of food from East Kilbride McDonalds, everything stone cold, not even ketchup etc in it, total waste of money, £19.77 phone went out of charge so couldn’t phone them, absolutely appalling sending food like that to anyone.

20 minutes for a standard meal. Freezing cold. Burger soggy and drink spilled all over cup. Absolutely shocking service and a standard. Thank god for kfc and Burger King

Went to the drive through. Pretty quick. Staff are friendly. Just be careful going in and out of the drive through its pretty tight and have saw people kerb there wheels a few times. Can be very busy at times.

On Sunday , I went with my grandson's, the food, which was so long incoming that my grandson's diabetes machines went off and the food was cold. They are so busy doing online food when they should take notice of the customers in the store.

Picked up an order, after arriving home, noticed my quarter pounder with cheese was not in the bag with the rest of the order. Now need to keep a code and go pick it up another time. 🙄 not happy at all.

In the last 5 drive through visits I have been given the entirely wrong order on the first visit and in all the others they have managed to forget at least one item. Why do I keep going? Well it's purely out of curiosity to see what they manage to get wrong. It's actually laughable now.

Stinking absolute balloons the audacity to point blame elsewhere and not engage with their 3rd parties ordered food never arrived via just eat driver was near bye so orders been classed as delivered when it's not. Staff useless over the phone offered nothing to fix the situation disgraceful worthless business approach zero respect for customer respect nor ownership of faults. Places like this should be investigated for consumer negligence and defrauding customers by not dealing with their 3rd parties!.

absolutely terrible, 2 weeks in a row have you messed up my order. £30 i spent last week and still have not had this refunded, this week i treat my grandad and order has been completely and utterly messed up. Terrible and will never ever be back, rude and careless workers who when you ask for help you are treated like an utter idiot.

Don't know why anyone would eat here, more interested in deliveries, won't be back.

Mobbed with delivery drivers, self serve machines not giving order number or receipt, display screens showing what orders were ready did not work, resulting in queues of people having to continually ask for orders. Tables and floors filthy. Bins overflowing. Awful experience. Convinced young grand daughter not to go again as she did not enjoy her "food".

Just takes far too long to get your meal. Waited for 15 minutes in the restaurant. Just eat drivers everywhere.

I ordered food to get delivered spend £12 on food and 2 items are missing tried calling them no answer shocking customer service am demanding a full refund

Ordered sausage and egg mcmuffin meal. Got a double sausage and egg that was rock hard and barely warm. Obviously made a long time before.

Ordered big breakfast told to wait at next window...5 minutes..tea was getting cold ..bad presentation of meal..smallest roll yet...staff not really aware what a customer is ...I would say they are ñot properly trained...McDonald's weakness..

DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE THEY WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. THEY NEVER HAVE TOYS FOR THE HAPPY MEAL AND NEVER HAVE MILKSHAKES.

They never give sauce. Who the hell orders McNuggets and doesn't want sauce? Please God, give them sauce. We even asked for extra sauce so they wouldn't forget this time. They did.

Absolute rank, would not recommend and will not be back.

Usually go there on Sat night for takeaway after grocery shopping with my kids. However, this McDonald's is always super busy. We usually need to wait for 20+ mins and yesterday we waited for 35+ mins! Feel bad for the staff tools as they were non-stop! Just not sure why it is always that busy!

Chips were cold but you expect that from macnonalds but I still love a big mac

Read the second part. After a couple of recommendations I booked for our anniversary meal. The staff, food and atmosphere didn't let it down, would go again if back in Dumfries Wrong place and review, not for McDonald's , should be for an Italian Restaurant in Dumfries. 2 stars for everything in McDonald's

Outside of the McDonald's is duty,the service is slow as well,but food Is ok

Surprisingly everything was really good this time. Warm chips and quick and nice customer service. My burger was a bit cold but still tasty.

Worse place ever, every time I order always half of the order missing , tonight not different, most of my order was missing and you cannot even complain or and ask for money back, I don’t know who a business can continuously do this and not giving customers options to at list ask for the money back for items that don’t arrive and paid for Will never order again …….

Approached counter to order but no one acknowledged my presence despite there being several staff near the counter on the kitchen side and 2 staff at the counter doing other things. I eventually asked can I order here and someone said yes. I then asked if I hadn't spoke to you would someone have ever said can I help you or something. The person said I didn't know you wanted to order and I said, why else would I be standing here if not just to be ignored. No apology although person was pleasant. Took my order and it was brought outside to me. All it takes is for a member of staff to acknowledge a customer and say something, hi, hello, can I help you, be with you shortly, the list is endless. A smile and an acknowledgment of my presence would have given you 5 stars.

Staff can't understand a simple order

First McDonalds I've had in ages and it was dreadful. A 20 minute wait to recieve a stale, tastless burger covered with brown lettuce and half filled, cold, unsalted chips. Definitely won't be back

Excellent 24 hr service branch. Great coffeee and food with plenty of room inside and outside with umbrella protection. Kids love this branch as there is crayons and writing pads available.

My child has ordered a Happy Meal with a fruit bag and a McDonald's bag too. But, when we arrived home we couldn't see any fruit bag and the McDonald's paper bag. Our order was number 093 on 10/09/23. Please check our order carefully next time.

How difficult is it to remember a dip and straws.

Have had issues ordering on just eat and drive thru before, so decided to go into branch. ordered mccrispy deluxe meal, quarter pounder and chicken sandwich from my rewards. Have arrived home to find that my mccrispy deluxe was not included(rest of meal was, chips and milkshake)in my bag. I am not even able to return to restaurant to have them rectify this as i am now in alone with a toddler and my partner is away to work.

Have went to this McDonald's for year's in the space of a year it's went down the pan spent 16 pounds on 2 meals and received the burgers flung together small fries in a large box anx they we're freezing everything nearly everytime when going threw the drive threw I get told to park and today I waited 25 mins will not be going back.

The kitchen staff have reading issues asked for extra relish think he read extra no relish and didn't put anything on come on McDonalds hire people who at least have a little common sense idiots

Sorry no stars for McDonalds East Kilbride food wise. Didn't wait that long after placing our order for the food to be ready, absolutely disgusting you'd have thought the food would have been warm, hardly any heat in it whatsoever ,so disgusted we didn't even take the time to complain.

Food was cold as was left sitting on side as staff struggled to make orders for delivery drivers coming in all the time should be picking up orders in a different part of the store

Looked quiet for breakfast but the volume of Just Eat drivers meant waiting 20 mins for porridge and coffee. Went again the day after (I know) and it was worse with a 30min wait for stone cold porridge. Replacements came at different times so the 2 of us ate separately and I was given my used syrup back so that was another complaint. They were trying hard but came up short. My worst McDonald's experience in 40 years +. Avoid!

What can I say? It's McDonalds... Good menu etc, and while the prices have shot up recently, they did keep them down a while. Good, consistent service...

Terrible, absolutely awful. Me and my daughter came here through the driveway we got handed our meal, my daughter ordered 20 nuggets and only got 10 and half my meal was missing. It’s shocking how you manage to forget half a persons meal, no sauce or straws were given either. Shocked, don’t come here.

We went to the drive through and were told to take a parking space. We waited about 10 minutes and sent my daughter in to see what was happening, the food was sitting waiting for someone to bring it out 😔 when we got home my husband had ordered a mccrispy which came with something like a chicken select and the bun was burnt on the edge . Won't be rushing back there.

I ordered through the app and collected my meal. As it was a work break me and some other colleagues ordered some food and collected it. As we were on the clock we picked up our food in moderate time and brought it back to our work not realising that one of the savoury burger meals wasn’t there. As there wasn’t much time left on our break it was pointless going back to ask for it so we decided we would just call them to ask for a refund or something similar. To no avail there was no answer. The line just kept ringing out. We kept trying until our break was finished then tried again later to call them- again no answer. Also one of the burgers we did get were cold and like I said there was no time to go back and change it. So we were given a cold burger and were duped out of a meal….. and still haven’t gotten our money back! Not impressed at all! Certainly won’t be going back there anytime soon as it’s just going down hill. Will probably have to start going to KFC or Burger King instead as their food is at least warm when we get it and they know how to answer a phone :(

Just got a breakfast from there the lid on the coffee wasn't on properly yeah coffee all over my legs and a white t-shirt lucky I'm not burnt Not even a sorry like its my fault for not checking Before it was passed my way .please never again

I stay 2 minutes from McDonald’s in a car it’s round the corner. Everytime I have ordered I am always waiting at least over an hour, and when they r out for delivery they will go to Hamilton and Blantyre first which doesn’t make sense when am only round the corner. The time it gets here the food is always stone cold, always items missing.

Went for driveway today ordered two fillet o fish meals.. one came with a half smoked tobacco cigarette in burger box next to burger.. absolutely disgusted .. my four year old with autism had a breakdown as no burger for him

Wrong order, charged for a veggie deluxe got a vegan burger. -_______-

No milk shakes as usual always a let down.

Good food friendly service struggled to get seated

A McDonald's with an ice-cream machine that seems to be working more often than other McDonald's in Glasgow.

This place either employs people who don’t care or a bunch of managers that couldn’t care less… If you ask for a sauce you better hope you have it in the house cause it will never be delivered. Hope you own a microwave as well, most of the food is stone cold. I order through the McDonald’s app and you’d think they’d put a push on an order through their own app and it’s still wrong every time. This place is good if you want to spend money and be annoyed with what you get. Absolutely useless.

Enjoyed a meal here with our grandchildren. A very helpful lad came straight over and sorted our order on the screen......saved us time figuring it all out! Keep up the good work 🙂

Forget the sauce, even if you've paid for it almost every time! Updated after a year still the exact same problems plus now with extra. Missing items 👍

Honestly, just did a quick calculation based on the number of justeat refunds I have had and 70% of orders from here were missing items, not like 1 thing, sometimes whole meals. I wonder if they have a some sort of favourable deal with justeat where they absorb some of the cost, because this level of incompetence is statistically unlikely. Either an absolute joke of an establishment or deliberate fraud. You choose. I’d choose Burger King instead.

McDonald's used to be enjoyable now its just a struggle to get a decent meal fulfilled. Every single delivery I get there's stuff missing. Sometimes whole meals. Decided to dine in this weekend to see if any better. Waited 24 mins on 2 cheeseburgers and chips. Was chaos with staff doing their best. The boy working on the floor stuffed his hands into the bin to push rubbish down and then collected trays of food to bring to peoples cars and tables without washing his hands. Mcflurrys were half full on the 2nd visit of the day after having to leave to make it to airthrill after waiting so long the first time. Overall poor experience but staff are friendly. .oh and my child got an elf toy in the happymeal in July. 🙄

I don't usually do reviews but this is robbery man. Every order I had was absolutely freezing, and just flung together with no care. Priority now lies with take away drivers and place is minging, especially the car park. I'm sure McDonald's will survive without my custom, but I'll never eat a McDonald's again is a disgrace of a place.

CHECK YOUR ORDER!!! Look at the reviews. These cretins can't follow a simple order. Missing items every time. It's not just me, loads of others say the same. It HAS to be deliberate to save money. I urge you all to complain to McDonalds UK every time you have a bad experience here. The place is an utter disgrace. Lesson learned, not going back.

This place is unparalleled when it comes to failing orders, it’s indescribable. I am yet to visit one time without an issue. I recently visited and they managed to forget to put an item in my bag out of 3 items total that were ordered. If there was ever a place that deserved an award for consistently under delivering it has to be this establishment.

My partner ordered from McDs through JustEat. The order arrived more or less within a reasonable time. However, we lacked two orders of fries, straws, napkins, or sauce as ordered. Upon realising this, we tried to phone the establishment to no avail. Rang for a few minutes several times before being hung up upon. Absolutely pathetic.

I have never been to this store and been given what I actually ordered.

Food absolutely frozen when we got it,90 mins from when I ordered it only fit for the bin absolutely disgusting and not even answering their phone, will not be ordering from them again

Don't eat here there's absolutely no telling what the clowns that are employed here are doing to your food when they are not trying steal the food you've paid for they will put syrup that you never asked for in your coffee this has been happening all the time when my partner goes there There is rarely a visit without incident these incidents can't be happening naturally There is no way this is down to incompetence these incidents cannot happen with such regularity unless it is deliberate McDonald's need to sack the management of this outlet and install someone who cares about their brand

First and last time I would go here, aggressive staff, cold food. Avoid.

Once again wrong order delivered. Fizzy drink flat and watery. Every single time I receive my order, something is missing. Careless staff. I am done with this McDonald's, it's beyond belief that it's actually still open for business.

30 minutes wait for a large chicken nugget meal, one customer who was waiting for his meal watched his ice cream turn to milk, another walked out as she couldn't be bothered waiting any longer. All because just eat, deliveroo and the other delivery drivers have priority when orders are going out. Not to mention when they collect the orders instead of delivering it, they will wait some upto 15-20 minutes on more orders or even to chat away with friends. McDonald was once a nice treat with the kids, not anymore, But you'll only experience this if you can get into the car park as most of the spaces are taken up by delivery drives. I feel for the staff run ragged but the management couldn't care less, as long as the delivery driver get their orders. Won't be back.
