Mcdonald is always the same everywhere. But this place made me write the review because poor housekeeping tables were really dirty even chairs and floor . I hope they'll take it as positive feedback. And improve . The staff was good helping and friendly 👏 👌 👍 😊

Slow service. Ordering food delivered to the car, hot drinks without sugars, McFlurries and happy meals with zero napkins. But last time cold drink without straw. My husband use to get salads instead of fries, should’ve a fork and mostly don’t get it. Food is good, reasonable priced as well. But the service isn’t great.

Ordered food from here one of our drinks was completely flat and watery, had one smoothie be half empty clearly wasn't tampered with so it couldn't have been the delivery driver drinking it, our food was complete stone cold however the taste of the food and everything was pretty good tried calling up didn't get response until the third try, got told that it's the delivery companies problem and not McDonald's even though it was equality of the food and the drinks and not the drivers for all the deliveries companies fault. A bit disappointing that a company can't take accountability for when they mess up their own food don't blame third-party services.

Terrible customer service! I arrived around 11 at night, and the manager was unbelievably rude. When I inquired about the excessively dry nuggets and requested a replacement, the manager had the nerve to insinuate that I was seeking free food. How can you serve suchg dry food in the first place? And then, when questioned, have the audacity to accuse us of wanting freebies? According to your incompetent manager, merely taking a bite of nuggets in the wrap renders it "half eaten." Absolute nonsense! What kind of customer service is this?

We just went thru the drive thru, but wanted to make an amazing acknowledgement to the wonderful chap Freddy who was working Sunday the 25th of February 2024 at around 2:30pm. He was so polite, charming and had great customer service, we was waiting at the collection window for our food and this very angry and rude customer came up with attitude as a burger was missing, Freddy sorted this quickly for the gentleman and apologised while the rude gentleman took the bag from his hand, didn't even look at him and walked away. And Freddy still kept composure and proceeded to carry on with his work with out being rude or letting the gentleman ruin his day. Not many people with this level of customer service anymore and feel he should be recognised especially having to deal with customers like that all day! Young people like this need acknowledgement for their hard work. So Freddy thank you for your great customer service.

Lived close by & also worked for Asda for 2 years over the last 5 of them, now and again visiting the restaurant. What started out as a general trip to McDonald's because it was sufficient has just over time turned into a diabolical mess @ peak times at this location. I never really leave reviews, but for the last few times in store you could be waiting for over an hour for your order. & my icing on the cake is the mcdelivery just ordered which has gone from 1 hour to 2.5 hrs. I imagine there is a high turnover of staff of who all need their break etc etc. But it seems to me to get to the point where customers are raising voices over the counter to find where their orders are. I do feel sorry for the staff, but some kind of plan must be put in place to start to be able to serve better at this location in my opinion.

25 minute wait for order mid-afternoon, unable to chase order as printer didn't give me a receipt with order number. Chaotic waiting area with a food delivery rider resorting to taking pictures of their ready-to-go order sitting on the rack in the kitchen area, in order to zoom in on and confirm the order number in the photo for themselves, then using that information to obtain the food from the harassed staff. Similarly, a waiting customer had to intervene on behalf of another customer, an elderly woman waiting to get her order handed over - this was clearly on a tray behind the till waiting to be given out but no staff member had done so for several minutes. Every table needed clearing and, even if customers wanted to put their mess in the bins, they were full and overflowing. Disabled toilet had an inch of standing water on the floor. Possibly the worst branch I've set foot inside, but they may have been having an off day. Food was acceptable when we did get it (the only reason this review gets it's second star), though missing requested sauces, but staff obliged politely when I raised this. Individual staff seemed to be doing their best but this is a *very* busy branch - probably not big enough for the task - and the place needs to be properly resourced and managed in order to deal with that. We didn't see evidence of either on our visit.

This restaurant is not good. This time about 5pm on a Sunday the car park was almost full and with various vehicles blocking the very few empty spaces. No click and serve spaces free - as they have not numbered all spaces like some other places. So we used the drive thru. Took a long time and on reaching final window was asked to wait in the Car Park. We did so, and over half an hour later had still not had our food (simple order too), despite asking the delivering person as he went in and out, who couldn't give a monkey's. Went inside to chase up; they had clearly forgotten us but used the ridiculous excuse of waiting to heat the apple pies. Took us 40 mins to get food from ordering, about 50 mins or more from entering the drive thru. No compensation offered. Worth avoiding but I guess they know they're the only out-of-town centre franchise in the area, and they act like it.

Dear ‘Team’, Arrived just before 16:30. The place was busy inside as was the drive trough. As a life choice as I prefer to eat food, I would not go here through choice, but I had travelled over 5 hours to visit my 11 yo who lives in Brighton and sadly like a lot of kids, wanted a Mcdonalds so here we are! After spending a few minutes at the electronic “wall of shame” where the images are nothing like the slop you acquire in its paper and branded wrapping plus the endless “add ons” which makes the whole process a financial nightmare when all you want to do is get out of this living hell. £25 later added to my credit card debt, we then stare endlessly at out receipt No. and the LCD screen of hope. 20 minutes pass by when you realise why the term fast food was dropped and these places try to brand themselves as a “restaurant”! During this period of slowly dying inside yet keeping my 11 yo entertained (you obviously as a business do not grasp the patience span of a child!), I observed I was only at the beginning of this hell as parents with kids, courier collectors et all had been enduring this ‘process’ longer than I with one poor guy pointing out that while staff were chatting etc, his load of 6 happy meals (a contradiction of terms I believe?), was sat on the side so long awaiting one of those “extras” they were forced to select from the now wall of disappointment, that all the meals had gone cold and rather than roll over in submission, rejected the lot and requested all to be provided at a respectable temperature. This resulted in the many staff who totally lacked some form of positive leadership to run around in circles and start throwing products in the bin to start the whole process from scratch. Over 45 minutes has now passed when despite the disorganised melee going on I ask some guy who looked about 18 but wearing a corporate shirt and tie indicating his stature within this company (he was earlier making a dog’s dinner of trying to mop the floor behind the till and could be clearly heard to emit the F word which no doubt my child did too). Anyway, after this request, he reappeared after a few minutes to say number 087 was waiting for the chicken nuggets and would materialise soon. 50 plus minutes later we were in possession of what was some very tired looking Mcdonalds fayre which sadly bore very little in common the the glorious pictures the people from advertising presented to us nearly an hour ago. Now I’m sure some AI system or who ever (if ever), responds to this feedback (which I have since found out from locals is a regular occurrence at this establishment), will chuck out some PR puff of excuses v expectations but don’t bother with the patronising waffle - just sort it out and hopefully I will save just one other human having to endure the hell of “ Loving it”. Ps: I have also since found out that there is some sort of time limitation to your car-park, so after being held to ransom for over an hour, I truly hope your parking control company does not issue and fines for the 16:20 to 17:15 window of Wednesday the 27th of December 2023. PPs: I didn’t even want to give 1 star but 0 is not an option. Kind regards SL

Visited this store on numerous occasions and 50% of the time there are issues with service. This time I ordered Big Mac meal and was told to park up as they needed to wait for fries. This was a red flag as when are Mc D’s without fries. Parked up and waited, and waited. I had to do school run so after 25 mins I went in store to see usual queue of unhappy customers holding orders or returning cold or wrong orders. The serving area was stacked with food and I asked when I would get mine. Guy sifted through boxes like a car boot sale and found me a Big Mac. Cole I had been given was also room temperatures and flat. This store must get 1000’s of complaints but the bad service goes on

This is not the first time but the second time this week we have ordered food via the drive thru. When you reach the collection window you are asked to park In the waiting section and the food will be brought to you. What is the point of a DRIVE THRU? Both times this week we have waited over 25 minutes for our food. There are dozens of cars waiting for their food, everyone complains, leave their cars, go inside to find out what the problem is. After 27 minutes I myself went inside and questioned where my food was. My kids were hungry, we were hungry, I was told to wait while they check on my order. I get my order which looked like it had been sitting inside for longer than it should have. Got my food, and we left. The staff are friendly, I have no issues with the staff at all. I actually feel sorry for them as McDonalds are putting them in this mess. I live 5 minutes away. I got home and the food was cold, the nuggets were ice cold, and not crispy, again telling signs that they had been sitting for some time. My partner drove to Aldi to get the kids Nuggets which she cooked. My burger was a mess, looked like it had been thrown together without care as my chicken Big Mac, had no chicken in it, so charging me for it, but not fulfilling the order. It’s ridiculously honestly. If you cannot sustain a drive thru, do not have one. If you cannot serve hot food, give people their refunds.

Fillet o fish for 99p, can't really go wrong and can't really complain. Except I can, cos it took ages, my husbands fillet o fish was cold by the time I got mine. Miserable staff but its was 11pm, I'd be miserable too! Atmosphere was pretty good though, the husband even pulled a guy from the harbour who was waiting for his food. Which made his fillet of fish oh so worth it!

No option for 0 stars so unfortunately giving a 1. Waited 40 minutes for a drive thru order to be brought out. It was a large order so was fine to wait a small amount of time. However 40 minutes for the food to be brought out (which incidentally was wrong in the end anyway) then another 15 minutes for the drinks. Ended up going in for a refund which was eventually processed without a word from the staff member. It’s a shame that a company with such bad service and staff isn’t affected by a bad review.

On this way, I congratulate ELLIE, the most rude, shameless and careless employee of Mc. I waited more than 30 min for my order and I asked her why it takes so long. She shouted at me that "I can't do anything" and that I still have to wait. There were people at 12AM who were still waiting for their brakfast for more than 40min, now being 2PM. The employees are stressed, overhelmed and just a few. The inside is a huge mess. The food I've recevied was cold and it's the third time when I order sauces they're not giving it to me.

Good location, easy parking shame the of East Brighton is littered by McDonald’s!! Just print the car reg on the drive through receipt, it’s not hard . Self service machine not working still . Disgusting toilets and no soap !! This place is getting worse sept 2023 , unhelpful staff , often no one to help , the longest wait , disorganised chaos even in quiet times!!! Stay clear 😫

Wow, a Saturday night, restaurant is a mess, drive thru at a 40min standstill, and those who've gone through the drive thru are coming in with the wrong orders, 40min wait inside the restaurant. Sorry guys there's nothing FAST about your fast food establishment tonight, plus the prices have gone up but not the service. Very unhappy customers in here tonight!!!

Came here for a drive through 23/09/23, Told to park up - waited ten minutes, left my girlfriend in the car, walked to asda and bought some groceries, came back and food still wasn’t there. A good 30min wait. Been given Half a large fries - Have just opened my big tasty burger w/bacon when I got home to find out there’s half a slice of cheese and no bacon. Seems like everyone in the drive through was also waiting 30 mins. This isn’t the first time service has been pants. Sort it out. Don’t bother going to this McDonald’s unless you’re drunk enough.

If you came to this McDonald’s thinking you would get a good meal without a long waiting time. You’re wrong… I’ve been to many different McDonald’s in my life and none of them have repeatedly disappointed me. Food will 100% never be fast, service is always apauling, and always will have some items missing in the bag. When you go inside to ask to get the food which they havnt placed in the bag, the staff will take another 10 mins to finally find what you asked for. All workers are brain dead.

Absolute chaos , stuck in the drive thru for 40 mins only to get stone cold food , wrong drink and a melted milkshake. Customers stood at drive thru window , one car was at collection point for 15 mins ! My daughter had a similar experience the previous evening so wasn't a one off .

Absolutely useless … waiting 30 mins for food . The car park is full of people waiting for their orders and there’s a queue of people complaining at the counter. The drive thru isn’t that busy either.. whoever looks after the McDonald’s brand needs to do something about this branch. Look at your reviews!

Placed an ubereats order tonight and it might have been the worst McDonald’s we have ever had. Took over an hour to be prepared and on top of that multiple items of our order were incorrect (missing dips, missing elements from 2 separate burgers, Fanta tasted like sparkling water) and the food was cold. Very disappointed and this branch should have some serious checks to find what went wrong. If I could rate zero stars I would.

What is wrong with this place i order a big mac and fries and a Coke and took 40 minutes terrible terrible everyone waiting for food was complaining about there order this has got to be the worst mcdonald brighton and maybe more. Staff were all over the Place not knowing what they were doing, really really poor management,like what is the manager thinking??? I am sure if the head office of mcdonald's found out about this it will not make theme happy. Do even after I got my food after 40 minutes the big mac was terrible not like the real big mac the fries were cold and the Coke had no ice and was terrible. Never ever again I will visit mcdonald's on brighton marina. The manager should not work there and be fire sorry he is terrible

This McDonald’s suffers from a busy crowd. It is large but busy due to the cinema and the Asda shoppers who have been turned on by the sight of frozen burgers in the aisles but can’t wait to get home and cook them. Be aware of the long delays and slooooow fast food

Worst McDonalds I have been to. Ordered food 10.15 and our number was called 10.40 , not really fast food. Not just us most customers had similar waiting times. Priority seemed to be with the delivery
