Mcdonald's Restaurants in Ashfield

A reasonable example of McDonald's. Car park entry is a tad convoluted but easy enough. Found the counter area congested with delivery drivers. Mostly clean, varied seating. Had an issue with a McFlurry that had to be replaced, other than that nothing outstanding either good or bad.

Used the app, got free stuff, great result 👍

Takes a century to make a burger at this place.

So they do breakfast until 11 but won't let you order it until 11, and we're not even allowed to order normal menu until 11:20? Stop bringing in new ways of working that you clearly don't want to actually do. As if you advertise delivery so much and then do this.

Went to get a drink and the lady that served me had fantastic customer service I've found all staff here lovely

Gave me wrong burger i got through drive thru, didnt have time to go back, so decided to eat the one i got, but it was cold, so couldn't eat it.

I think it's OK Sometimes but other times food can be a little dry

This is the second time this week where my order has been completely wrong and missing items inside the order. My partner went to pick me a breakfast roll up this morning got home to find out it was just bacon 😂I had to rob one of his sausages off his muffin and get a cheese slice out my fridge. All I ask for is breakfast roll with brown sauce

The usual quick grab food but hot and tasty

Drinks always flat & without ice, chips always cold or cooked in old oil makes them taste dirty. Gobby arrogant staff all look like they should be in school. Terrible & unprofessional.

It's McDonalds you get what you pay for. It's fast cheap and the kids love it.

The food is always cold you get lucky if it hot. It's served by kids that's just left school with attitudes and no manners 😒 but odd ones are nice orders are mostly wrong or miss items

Despite this being one of the better McDonald's for food at the store when you order mcdelivery they send orders for skegby to Kirkby before bringing it back past the restaurant and delivering in skegby with the food stone cold. Do not buy delivery from this restaurant! I've also had an occasion where the delivery driver just gave my food away. Just go to the restaurant, the staff are generally friendly and very good, but everywhere has the odd 'bad apple'.

Completely disappointed. I’ve ordered through app and waiting for my food for 20mins and suddenly my order number disappeared in the app but my payment was taken. I’ve talked to the manager not useful at all. now my time is wasted and money's gone. never coming back to McDonald's again

20 mins I waited in the drive thru just for them to give me some order

Waited over 30 mins to be served as priority is always given to the twelve Just Eat riders/drivers with delivery orders. Everything was cold when it eventually arrived and I've more than likely got a parking ticket due to the extended wait. Fast food, definitely not. Hot food forget it. The family won't be back again.

Usually very good here. Went yesterday on a busy day. Ordered caesar salad grilled chicken wrap and nearly finished it, but suddenly felt like throwing up and went to the toilet. Now its the next day and im still feeling nauseous and wanting to be sick. Someone has not cooked or washed properly or left something out too long and now im paying for it. Puts me off now.

Staff here are super friendly and great with kids. Cleanliness is fantastic. And the staff help clear away, tables are wiped down quickly between meals. Food is always hot and fresh tasting.

Orderd thought the McDonald’s app orderd £20+ work off food and orderd stuff with the peel stickers on spacificly, it arrived with nearly all of the stickers already peeled off!! I’m assuming by the staff! Rung up about it and they just said that I have no proof. Terrible service.

They are always getting order wrong

All these types of establishments have tasteless food I personally do not buy or eat at these places but members of my family do.

Like all McDonald's these days, they are more interested in serving Deliveroo than customers actually in the restaurant

Really quick service even though the place was packed

4th September 7:27pm The customer service in the drive through is horrible, when taking our order they where talking to others and was rude when it came to pay they didn’t even talk to us just carried in there conversation and just taped the screen where our order shows, when we figured out what they meant we said yes and they shoved the card machine in our face as the continued to have there conversation.

We went through the drive thru and and got 2 mayo chickens and 2 salted caramel frappes it was amazing the mayo chicken was warm and the frappes had the ice crunched down properly it was incredible the best food I've had from McDonald's

Lovely place for different weather outside.

Straight through drive through. Had to wait for food to be cooked. Chips were red hot, freshly cooked.

Personel walking around when you asking them about your order because allready gone from screen they telling you is on the screen and go. After another 10 minutes she asking what order i waiting for thats joke all personel look like after hard weekend party ... cold food and personel not friendly .

Got delivery food was cold and undercooked and got food poisoning from here

never send right food every single time we order, never have the phone on to complain and whenever they do they “can’t do anything” because it’s though just eat however it’s not just eat that pack the food into the bags 😂 clearly need better staff or atleast better training because the workers can’t even manage to read an order and put the ideas into a bag correctly !

Air conditioned, so pleasant on a summers day. Ordered and at the table in minutes by a friendly server. Food was on par for mcds breakfast

Went for some food with my Grandad and missed some of our meal.

Food was hot and clearly fresh. Found staff in customer order area to be helpful and friendly. 🙃

It's just a McDonald's fairly clean fairly good service and fills a hole, however the food at any McDonald's is never great especially the burgers, they lack flavour!

Absolutely rubbish , spent 15 minutes at the drive through ready to order and never managed to . Out of the two drive through order stations they just spoke to the opposite one . I gave up on the 11 car ordering on the opposite window without being able to order , I'm guessing that's why they have so many just eat orders as going in person seems to be a complete waste of time .

It's McDonald's, it is what it is! Nothing wrong with today's visit at all.

Usuak McDonald's Good staff Bit slow

Staff stood round doing nothing, yet waited ages. Order wrong, wanted a McSpicy got a Fillet of Fish. Don’t even like fish. Wrong on the receipt so couldn’t even go back to argue the toss. Food was cold. Avoid.

10pm drive thru experience- shocking service. Took almost 30mins to get food and drive away. The Big Mac and Bacon cheeseburger were so badly put together, contents falling out of the sandwiches and sauce all over the box/wrapper. No apology for delay, no updates on what was going on - total farce. Never coming to this drive thru ever again!

Food was hot and fresh, and served to us quickly. We sat in and it was very clean and tidy, a lady was quick to clear your rubbish away for you when you were finished. Toilets were also very clean and smelt very fresh! Very pleasant McDonald's!

The staff here are just lovely! They all seem so happy and that shows in their service.

My nearest McDonald’s is in Northampton and by comparison this one is a great deal better. I noticed a review saying their meal was barely warm, this is my view of Northampton. This McDonald’s though was totally the opposite and the burger actually tasted like a burger rather than the usual offering of moist cardboard I usually get and regret. Would come again but try sitting in which is a different story in my experience as they prioritise drive through over sit in.

Just popped in for a coffee and fries.

Food: was amazing Service: they were nice people but forgot multiple things for me and my friends (we went for a birthday party) missed out my chicken nuggets and drink, missed out my friends drink and fries. Had to wait 40mins but doesn't really matter. Atmosphere: Everyone around was polite, the iPads were working perfectly and really enjoyed it

Only go if no one else is open. Nothing against the store itself, just the food.

A well ran mcdonalds with but one pound I fed myself. Choosing the chicken fillet burger for £0.99 I have enjoyed making use of the toilet facilities also. A range of different people operate in here, I noticed everybody from every colour and class to the young and old, disabled and whole. God bless this store

Tried ordering through the app though my PayPal wouldn't work. The staff member pulled up my order and brought the order to my table. They were friendly the food arrived quickly it was clean and welcoming as always.

Devlived nearly twenty pounds worth of food through the mcdonalds app and it came from an UBER EATS driver and was never delivered with no way of getting a refund, rang mcdonalds amd they said that they can do nothing. So rang uber eats who can't do anything either so now without food and twenty pounds down, both as useless as each other!!!!

Typical mcdonalds order wrong, if you don't use the pound saver menu I think its over priced.

It's mcd s what I like is ,it's always the same and we'll priced and enjoyable now and then . The opening hours are perfect especially when on long journeys when you need a break . The food and tea/coffee are very good too .

Last few times food has been barely warm. Waiting to get served at the till is like waiting for paint to dry, no one ever seems bothered about serving anyone on tills, not just a one off, it's everytime I've been in (and yes staff do notice you waiting), had a joke about it with other customers also waiting a few times. Clean store though, toilets not too bad

Price of products at the times we live in at the moment is stupid,its hard enough without junk food

Hi went to McDonald's this tea time and my order was 2 cheese burgers and they was flat as a pancake and it looked like some one put there foot on it and it was cold so I waste my time and money again not good at this place check your food and it should look like it on the board ☹️

Astonishingly Bad,,,this Mcdonalds is (by a long way) the worst mcdonalds i have ever been to,15 min's waiting at a table for food to come and when i asked how long it would be we was told it was on the board and would be here soon and when i told the women i had seen lots of people recieving their food when they arrived ages after us,she very rudely and snottily told us that if an order comes in that is smaller then they do that first so i replied, it should be done in order of the orders being placed and she rudely replied well!! thats the way we do it here but their way clearly mean's that my food will never arrive if people keep coming in with smaller orders,,,what a bunch of space-heads,not a clue amongst them all,and after all the waiting ""WOULD YOU BELIEVE"" the order arrived COLD,,,so we got our money back and left,,,,Mcdonalds are ALL OVER THE PLACE,,so please take time to travel to one who Knows what they are doing but most of all,,,AVOID THIS PLACE

This is a example of how to run a mcdonalds fast service fresh food you can tell they care about the food and the customers it is definitely a example on how to run a mcdonalds 5* all around and one of the staff members who's name is gail running around doing bits of everything she didn't stop once when I was there and was allways smiling and making the customers feel welcome and the till staff gave my service with a smile Said thanks when I gave them the money ect I used both the self service terminal and the table order both extremely efficient and served in a timely manner will defenilty be visiting again they made my day take note other mcdonalds you could learn a thing or two. !!!

Tried the mccrispy,never had anything so bland. The fries were not cooked.

Shocking service the girl at the 2 second window was so rude she refused to give us something that was on our order she didn’t give us the receipt so we couldn’t see if it was on there the food was cold gave us the wrong wrap and didn’t give us any straws disgusting worse McDonald’s I’ve ever been to

Not helpful at all, grumpy staff, dirty tables. Manager untrained and offensive. Will not be going back. I know you don't expect much from Macdonalds, but this one is the worst I have ever tired to eat in, I demanded a refund it was so bad. I wish 0 stars was an option.

Double sausage egg mcmuffins are never dripping in fat like some MacDonalds.

5 stars! Ordered on the app and it was ready the moment I've step into the doors without using the kiosk or waiting around at the collection screen. And is probably the quickest I've even been to as it took less than a minute to complete my order! 5 star maccies! Super recommended and I've been to like 500 restaurants now

Had table service from a nice member of staff again ,not too busy at that time either .

Pretty much perfect. Just needed salt on the fries and a sugar with drink. Wasn't asked if we wanted any and forgot to ask. Food was still perfect. Loved the Chicken Fiesta. Beautifully spicy. Definitely buy again.
