Mcdonald's Restaurants in Blaenau Gwent

Popped in here as I'd just been to argos waited ages for food to arrive, went and sat in car to enjoy ( ha ha ) fries were lukewarm and burger was just cold, absolutely disgusting!! Instead of throwing the food in the bin I might aswell have just thrown the money in there and saved myself all that time.

Nothing but a meeting place for foul-mouthed, disrespectful youths taking up what little seating space there is, cradling two smoothies between the ten of them that have been the only purchases they made in the 30mins we had the misfortune to be there- and they were in before us and still there when we left. Four of them then took over the gents toilet and came out ten minutes later with a "wet floor" cone which they then placed on the table and cracked jokes about their daring-do,s Pathetic management. Reported this behaviour on the way out and I might as well have been invisible. Our 9yr old grandaughter likes her happy-meal and we were quietly surprised when she said"mum and dad never come in to eat"... Yup...now I can see why. Its quite plain that adults with small children are,nt welcome inside these places . NOOOO I hear MaCDonalds senior management screaming. Put it this way, None of MY family will be using the eating area again and we may well opt for the other option that sells chicken, and a lot more mature clientel.

I really enjoyed this visit because my food was really nice and the best part was Tracey because she is fantastic she helped me when I sneezed she gave me Tissues well done Tracey ❤️

Avoid unless you love the sound of teenagers swearing, Uber drivers smoking by the doors and taking up all the parking spaces and if you actually want your order right

If poor service, wrong orders and cold food is what you want in a maccies then this is a must for you. Don't forget to wipe your feet on the way out.

Got order wrong twice man who works there cleaning tables very rude and to top it off grandchildren went to toilet where no toilet paper there was told by manager we dont have any disgusting. When asked to speak to him again hiding telling staff he dosent have to speak to me . Manager what a gutless man

Visited during a very quiet breakfast time. Drive through empty. Clearly & slowly stated my simple order. It was incorrect, bits missing & cold as per usual. Staff were unprofessional, stood around chatting & laughing. Won't be going back.

I have came here with my kids today , who had been victimised whilst ordering their happy meals. They are both 2 blonde twins ages 11 , they both look older however they are younger , they got harassed to leave. How is this acceptable in today generation , sort it out McDonald’s or I will be taking this further !!!

Never again! Have eaten here for years , and the food as with all McDonald’s is excellent. But to queue in a relatively quiet restaurant with my 7 year old boy while ‘delivery’ orders are prioritised, and then to have to try to protect my my boy as we walk outside past the ‘delivery’ drivers who were fist fighting with each other in a massive argument. I will never EVER visit McDonald’s Ebbw Vale again.

Bad attitude from staff, when asked about the new plant burger, was replied with ;I haven't got a clue what you are talking about'. Bad traffic and parking around it.. Orders consistently wrong

Every single time ive been here they messed up my order! Every time I complain to which i have attitude back off staff! It’s not hard to get a order right or even check it before it goes out!!! I’ve been missing burgers out of Big Mac’s not just once mind.. My fries are always cold and some missing out of them. The picture below are my large fries! LARGE! Unreal how bad this place is, needs shutting down! Or train your staff better as clearly they are not up to the standards.

Just don’t bother!! The staff in this particular restaurant are awful! They are so rude and unhelpful, I’ve never ever come across people that work in public that treat people this way. 5 times in the last few weeks I’ve ordered and every single time without fail they mess the order up! Phone them up and they basically say it’s not their problem!!!! How can it not be your problem? Unbelievable. Also it’s supposed to be a 24 hour restaurant. I start work at 4am. Most mornings I try and get a coffee from there and they put big dirty biffa bins across the entrance to stop people going in!! These bins stay there for several hours! Why advertise a 24 hour restaurant that’s not gonna be open 24 hours?

I ordered a rap of the day meal it look really nice until i took a Bite all the wrap fell out the other end and at the corner off my eye I seen a dead fly I instantly a run to the toilet and threw up it’s disgusting I will not. Be coming here again 🤢🤮🤮😐🙄

Pretty diabolical. Food not of the quality which you come to expect from McDonalds. Terrible portion sizes of fries. You don’t expect to be hard done by by a large company, but this restaurant really takes the biscuit. Would be a 0 star review we’re it not for the member of welcoming staff who helped me out to get a receipt when the printer failed and appeared to be holding everything together.

The bins are overflowing and there are rats running around the car park, I approached the manager who had a terrible attitude and she told me... just don't worry about it. Bloody disgusting.

The food in here is always piping hot,really tasty and pretty quick even though it’s usually busy,has a little car park with a disabled parking spot aswell would definitely recommend.

The traffic queue extends back onto the main road into Ebbw Vale regularly blocking vehicle access to the adjacent Aldi. Car park is far too small meaning users often park in Aldi instead blocking the car park for shoppers.

Designed so that patrons wishing to "drive through" can't see the queue of traffic before entering line. Last time I visited, 15 minute wait to get to service window then further 5 minutes waiting for food to be prepared. Flat cheesy bacon was cold when it arrived. Not recommended.

Great Mc'Donalds, fast service, hot food, Friendly Staff eat in or take away. Right next to Aldi so great for a quick meal after shopping.

From the start of the visit it was disappointing. A guy greeted us at the door but made no attempt to show us to the table. We found one ourselves and waited for 20 minutes before anyone came. When they did, they didn’t bring a wine list and asked us to leave! After some discussion we were taken to the counter where a selection of “meals” where displayed in photo form. When in Rome, I indicated our meal choice with a series of hand gestures and grunts and was rewarded with 2 brown bags, contents to be examined. We exited the restaurant with our bags and in the comfort of our vehicle examined the contents of the bags. The contents bore little resemblance to the photos but the “food” was at least hot.

Very slow service. All priority is given to the drive through. Waited 20 mins for for to be handed over. On a plus point the place was fairly clean

Food the same as it is in any McD's, but the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very clean.

As Macdonalds goes, it's fine. Security at night! Food OK and service OK, but not the best place to stop.

On our way to tredegar we dropped in for a breakfast. Nice friendly staff and quick service. Car park small and only negative was the really annoying crackly music.

most times when i order my chicken and BBQ wrap they seem to give me a spicy one. so i am quite disipointed with that as there are lots Mcdonalds and everyone one i go to it's the same.

El servicio era rápido hoy colaboradores con 16, pero la calidad de la comida es desastrosa. La comida estaba fría, las patatas frías, fresa chocante.

I Have to say this shop is going downhill, staff not very welcoming and chewing gum, and chewing while they are serving you. The one girl even put her hand to her mouth and pulled her gum out and did not wash her hands. Can I ask why are the chips always COLD, I have yet to have a portion of chips that were hot.

This is our local McDonald's and considering its quite small the way they prepare/serve the food is quite organised and they usually get the order correct even though there quite a few different menu items.

Been here for food several times and have become used to checking the order whenever it arrives. I've been caught out a few times with missing items or mixed orders. No problem changing or replacing the missing items but it's not the same once you've left and had to return to pick thimgs up.

There was very good service, good play area but the food was cold and they should have a bigger play area.The dish I had was the chicken wrap and fries. But when you order they should ask if you want salt on your fries because they put salt straight on your fries but apart from all those things i really enjoyed it.

I love my fast food, McDonalds, Burger King you name it. But McDonald's in Ebbw Vale is proberbly one of the worst. The food is normally cold and chips overcooked. Staff are grumpy and always standing around talking. I had a Quater Pounder with only Cheese Large Meal last time I went. I was given cold fries, a normal quater pounder and a normal coke (I asked for diet). I used the drive-thru I then had to park up and take my order into the desk (Not the first time this has happened in the past in McDonald's Ebbw Vale) I then had to wait for my order to be cooked fresh wich took 25 minutes. Also the McFlurry's in Ebbw Vale are nore expensive. Ebbw Vale charges £1.20 for McFrlurry's where other McDonalds charge 99p

This restaurant stil hasn't invested in a machine that keeps the food warm. Woman on the window looks like she's at a funeral. Not even the slightest hint of a smile. Very very poor

I visited during a busy lunchtime, however it seemed like nobody knew what to do! The staff seemed to hang about in the kitchen area panicking and no one was attending to customers or serving!! When they finally decided to serve there was no apology for their incompetence or even any humanity to their approach; rushed and came across to be quite rude. The lady who served me didn't know how to use the till and failed to ask if I was eating in or not and also forgot to offer an sauces with my meal. The meal itself was cold and also wrong, I ordered a crispy chicken wrap- I revived a cold grilled one! Was not happy with my experience at this McDonalds. I will not be visiting again, complete disaster!

This is not a 5* restaurant but where you go for a quick bit to eat. We have rushed to have a quick meal here several times with no issues. The food is exactly what you expect. The service is exactly what you expect. It's McDonalds folks! No moans or complaints. Likewise no wows, so four stars seems fair.

I refuse to go here because it's always been terrible.rude staff, cold tasteless food. , wrong orders ect.my kids however asked if we cud go to the drive through after a visit to the nearby swimming pool. Arrived home to find half the order missing. How hard can it be to get two meals right.pathetic.never again.

This is a run of the mill McDonalds and the food is as it should be. The staff on duty when i visited on Saturday evening were very good, when some youngsters were getting a bit boisterous the staff member immediately dealt with them in a friendly but firm manner. This restaurant looked clean and tidy. My only negative is that the surrounding outside area is strewn with litter on the road side verge which makes the restaurant look shabby and uninviting from the road i think the litter should be addressed to improve the look of the place.

Think I should bill these for my dentist bill. Serving hamburgers in STALE bread. If I'd thrown it I would have murdered someone. Mcdonalds is quickly going downhill and their customer service staff don't give a damn

Four of us ate here for some Fast Food whilst working late in Ebbw Vale - We had Quarter Pounders with Cheese and all our burgers were overcooked, tasteless and dried out... It was like eating cardboard. The worst UK McDonald's I have eaten in, would not recommend or return here again.

Personally I don't like McDonald's but my kids do. Every time I have been here I have had to return to get what I actually ordered rather than what I have been given. I also think they must see the sauces as their wages as they hate given them

No matter how quick you eat your food here it's always freezing. Fast food shouldn't have to be put in the microwave to eat it.

Breakfast time. Decided to drive past Mc D for breakfast. Ordered only 1 itemAfter waiting 15 mins in the drive through I was told my item was still FROZEN!5 more mins later I gave up waiting and got a refund. I can't say what the quality of the food was like on the day I visited as I never got to eat any. I can't think of any reason I would want to return here.

Unfortunately seldom maintains the already low levels that I have come to expect from this franchise. This is a particularly poor specimen.

Having previously sworn never to go here again, I was regrettably talked into it by my children... once again we arrived home to find half the order missing! This particular branch must be phenomenally profitable as you only ever get a fraction of the food you pay for. How hard can it be to read off a list of items and put them in a bag?? My 5 year old could do a better job than the people employed here.

Ordered 6 meals through the drive through. When returned home 2 lots of chips, one chicken ledgend and a burger was missing. Unable to get any answer by phone or email. When finally got through the following day they did offer some freebies the next time I visit. That's not the point they need to check orders before handing out to customers.

First time here today and the very small car park was full so parked in the supermarket car park right next door. It is also very small inside and we had the last vacant table. Had quite a queue but got served after a few minutes. The food is typical of Mcdonalds which I am happy with but it wasn't as hot as usual and my daughter left most of her fries as they were stone cold by the time she ate her burger.

To be fair I am not Mcdonald's biggest fan but dropped in to get a Big mac for dinner whilst staying at the Premier Inn. The staff were friendly enough but the food was absolutely terrible. Luke warm burger and cold fries, yuck! Really wish I hadn't bothered as i threw most of it away. Won't be making that mistake again!

Typical Mcdonalds restaurant. Good location, car park area is small and drive through can get busy at certain times of the day. Service is usually quick and standard of food varies, sometimes the food isn't as hot as it could be and the amount you get also varies, sometimes the chip boxes are full to the brim and other times they are scant. Overall a typical Mcdonalds and you get what you pay for.
