Not for the first time, disappointing. Ordered a delivery for the family as a bit of a treat. The burgers and chicken were cooked fine but all the chips in the meals were uncooked. Luckily we have an air frier and some salt at home...

I rate this as possibly the worst McDonalds I have ever eaten in, and I keep going back hoping that it has improved, but no uncooked chips cold burgers and constantly get parked up in the drive through

Service outstanding. Young man Harry (Gatwick McDonald’s )who works there , you are an absolute credit to your employer. Such a polite person very helpful.

I’ve never met such rude staff before in my life. A please, thank you, hello & goodbye goes a long way. Even my 11 year old said why do people need to be so rude! Train your staff to have manners, and if they don’t have any then maybe don’t employ them. At least our food order was right this time! Shame about the nearly 30 minute wait!

Went on way to airport for breakfast. I have never been to such a messy untidy MacDonald any where in the world. Bins were over full service- well there wasn't any women were to busy chatting, apparently I was standing in wrong place.No one queuing, and order and collect signs were above head height just below ceiling.Someone sweeping but just near the front door. As for toilets they were unusable. More paper on the floor then on the reels. Flush not working. Had to use tray to push rubbish in bins as so full. Whole experience was disgusting.

I never thought a McDonald's could reach such depths of disappointment until my recent visit to this particular location. What should've been a routine, quick fast food meal quickly degenerated into a nightmare that can only be described as an abysmal failure in service and basic hospitality. Upon walking into this establishment, it was painfully evident that cleanliness was an utterly foreign concept here. The place was strewn with discarded wrappers, dirty tables, and a floor that looked like it hadn't seen a mop in weeks. It was a distasteful scene that repulsed rather than invited. What further exacerbated this dire scenario was the absolutely lackadaisical staff. Their disinterest was palpable and seemed to manifest as rudeness, a stark contrast to the cheerful and polite service usually associated with McDonald's. It felt like I was an unwelcome intruder, not a valued customer. However, the greatest affront to customer service was the outrageous wait time for my order. For a franchise that prides itself on quick service, having to wait for a staggering 35 minutes for my order was utterly ludicrous. When it finally arrived, the food was as cold as the reception I had received. To add insult to injury, the order was incorrect. It was a slapdash display of utter incompetence and a clear testament to the appalling lack of quality control. This is not what the Golden Arches should represent. In short, this was the absolute worst McDonald's I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. This establishment is a blight on the McDonald's brand and needs an urgent and drastic overhaul. It's a place that churns out cold, wrong orders after an eternity of waiting, all served with a side of rudeness. I cannot stress this enough - avoid at all costs.

Ordered a delivery, time kept changed to later and later. When it eventually did arrive ALL of the food was cold and inedible, burgers rock hard and totally dry and the same with the chips - certainly won’t be ordering from this place again!! 👎👎👎👎👎

What an absolute joke of a place. I ordered are meals from the app to get delivered to are table, waited over 45 minutes for food to arrive and then half of it was forgotten and after all that they send me a over stay fine from the car park Because of their lack of organisation. Avoid this mc d’s as a very costly one.

This seems yet another macdonalds where the burgers are served cold.. i know gas and electric has gone up. but really, when the salad is warmer than the burger...their new cooking instructions must read, DEFROST AND SERVE. the staff as usual are good. place is clean.. just shame food is cold

The food was reasonable. However we drove through and used the app. No problems, but told to wait in the car park this was full. We waited for about 34 min then went in the store. There were plenty of staff but looked like chaos with food piled up yet to be given out. We noticed in the car park other people seemed to be waiting. The location is idea and it will be a busy location. I think it needs a STOP and let’s get it organised. I can only imagine how busy and stressed working in there is. Be very careful when parking here! I wasn't aware you have to validate your ticket inside the restaurant ( no signs within the restaurant to say this) I was only parked for about 30 mins after collecting my food. Not once did anyone mention to me the ticket needed validating. When leaving the car park I tried to enter the ticket a few times, but it was rejected and then the barrier raised which gave me the impression I was ok to leave. So just be careful that even if the barrier is raised you will get a fine!! £60 or £100 if not paid within 14 days.

Had a drive through at 3am this morning . Very fast and hot served by professional staff . Whole thing less than 5 minutes.

We went there for a quick burger after a late pick up from Gatwick airport. With just two people on the queue, a burger and a wrap took 8 minutes.They had no more trays, so we were given the order in a bag. There was no ketchup in the dispenser either. I called in for a coffee and a bite to eat after dropping someone off at 4am. I had to wait for my order (a wrap) the server said she would bring it over. 10 minutes later I was still waiting so went up to the counter where it was still sitting there. We drove into the drive through and started our order, and as early as that we got bad customer service. When asking what festive hot drinks they do we were replied with a scoff for them soon to come back saying "so what do you want?" Very abruptly not even answering the question, Then for the man to get our order completely wrong after putting it through the till, again still scoffing at us and ignoring us after repeating ourselves four of five times and making us feel awful for even ordering a simple wrap. After paying and going to collect the food they didn't want to make any type of eye contact or even want to listen to me when I asked for sauces and still continued to give us the wrong items. And to then be called a "wasteman" from him, we was disgusted. After getting home we notice that half our food wasn't even there. I would like to also mention that it was only a year ago since I left working there and have never seen such poor customer service and the manager on shift Rahul did not do anything about the situation. I wouldn't expect any sort of decent customer service at breakfast time from now on from there and am happy to say we will not be returning as this isn't the first time I've had poor customer service.

I do like now and again a McDonalds Quarter Pounder with fries and a milk shake, value wise is ok, and sometimes I ask for another milk shake.

This is a pleasant place to have breakfast and although they were very busy, they served quite quickly and the servers were happy and had good customer service.Better value for money than other eateries in the South Terminal at Gatwick.

Food as expected for a McDonalds. However, be careful when parking here. The signs at night are not easy to read and a 15 minute overstay cost us £100. We would definitely not recommend eating here at that price. the surcharge left us with a distinctly bad taste.

Not sure why I am writing a review for McDonalds in Crawley as everyone knows what you get? Good food, quick service, good value, possibly not the healthest meal you will eat but twice a year is OK!

This restaurant is excellent value for money but you have to be lucky for good service. This is not because of the staff, who are helpful, but customers trying to decide what they should have whilst standing in the queue. The products on offer are good value and the restaurant is well placed for the airport.

Thought pop into McD for my lunch while I am waiting form my flight... The lady who served me was very nice, but the the fastest (only had four tills opened, had waited a while before getting serve, guess I can cope with that) but both of my burger were cold and hard, it felt like someone just threw them together. Poor quality. Disappointed

When you have just landed and on a flight that didn't offer any hot food, something quick and hot before the drive home would be nice as nobody likes to go to sleep hungry.A 24 hour restaurant albeit McDonald's should be able to offer this as their business model is the same thing anywhere at the same quality.Sorry on this occasion this was not the case. even took some of the food back and it was replaced by equally poor standard. We live near Gatwick and on occasion have picked up a drive through here. It's generally fine but have been times when items unavailable. Reasonable car park at hand and petrol station next door.

I tried McDonald's at Gatwick just to see a English MC's in action. I didn't travel to the UK to eat at the same places I do in Canada, but I tried the coffee and it was ok. The service, space and coffee all worked for me and is comparable to the MC's down the road from where I live. Cheers

The service was quick but when we sat down we realised we were missing a couple of items. These then took a couple of minutes to cook. Clean. Free parking for an hour for customers. But had trouble finding a space. It was a Thursday evening though.

We ate here after a late flight. This McDonald's is situated at the South terminal right next to the Hilton Hotel. It is very small and the seating area is tiny. Typical Maccie's.

Hi.Very handy this McD at Gatwick.Its sited on the way out of Gatwicks South Terminal so very good for those early morning drops & then a bite to eat.If i'm here in the mornings i have their Big Breakfast with an extra hash brown, excellent.Other times of the day i order a 3 strip meal, large of course, with sweet chilli sauce, tea & an apple pie. Their apple pies have cinnamon in & are really nice!Not the biggest carpark you'll find at a McD but the problem here is that it's a magnet for taxis etc to wait a while, not buying anything, just hanging around waiting for flights. At least i buy something at McD & don't use it as a short stay free carpark.If McD made the whole site bigger it would help as it gets very busy inside. I generally do a takeaway & go back to my car as seating can be taken up.There's a petrol station next to McD which again is extremely handy for filling up, papers, snacks etc. I have a 6 hour drive back home to North Yorkshire from Gatwick & this McD serves me well setting me up for the long trudge round the M25, M1 etc!Never had a problem using this McD.Staff fine, food fine...nuff said.

This McDonalds is just like every other one you will visit in your lifetimeOnly wanted a morning snack before flight so ordered a breakfast wrap, a good 15 minutes later it was finally in my hands.Even though their food is bad for everyone it just tastes so damn good.Staff are the usual riffraff of people who are just there to earn a wage and free food.

Walked in to McDonalds at Gatwick South. Was greeted by a young man behind the counter. Asked him what was the most healthiest burger there was. He have me several options. Showed me the menu and the calories of all the items. Explained everything including how the fact sheets worked and all the calories in each item. Very knowledgeable young man. From all the options. I chose a quarter pounder and a fresh orange juice. Was served very quickly and efficiently. The member of staff LEON made the whole transaction very easy and smooth. Great asset to the company. Popped in here after dropping someone at airport. 5:00 am so just started serving breakfast. Ordered breakfast then waited about 15 minutes for it all to be bought over. Luckily we weren't in a hurry. Food was fine, hot.Staff friendly.

Decided to have a Mcdonald's before our flight. Such a small place, needed to be bigger as the queues were so long.

Recently used the south terminal McDonald's, it was so poor. Ordering a simple chicken burger and fries took 12 minutes from order to delivery. The front of house staff we're let down by the kitchen team. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

If you don't want to spend a lot for mediocre food at Gatwick Airport, then this McDonald's is perhaps your best bet. Yes, it's industrial-scale fast food, yes, it is not the same standards as in the US, but at least you pay a reasonable bill, and this is hard to find at Gatwick. If it were located elsewhere, I would probably give it 1 star. Here it gets a 3-star rating.

To be fair, you know what Mc Donald's is all about, hastily prepared by teenagers that fills the hunger gap. Gatwick is no different except you wonder if they can always get enough staff and who cares if you ever come back as there will be 1000's more new passengers tomorrow who are hungry. I had the Big tasty with bacon, large fries and drink for £6. Sit at a table that has not been wiped off and has the previous customers dinner on it. But it filled the hole in my appetite, was cheaper than the Wetherspoons burger next door which was £10 no drink (£4.99 with drink anywhere else by the way) so job done.I rate it average, because to be fair the staff were working very hard to keep up with demand and the prices were not inflated above the high street.

Mcdonald's is getting from bad to worse and a disgrace to their mother company. Food very poorly prepared and very sloppily presented. Burgers tasteless and like eating a piece of cardboard. Portions of fries never a full portion overall there is no quality or quantity control. Staff are pleasant enough but can't really say anything positive about the quality or quantity of food provided !!!

Decided to get a quick bite before boarding our flight on the early evening of 26th October. Three people ahead of us in the queue. Was still waiting to be served after more than 10 minutes, with two people in front. The people cooking the food were standing around. Servers were very slow. No energy, buzz, or management leadership behind the counter as is usual at McDonald's, that is how they successfully do fast food. People left angry and leaving to go and catch flights as they gave up waiting too. I asked to speak to the manager. I explained the above and he started shouting about being short of staff. He was very rude and just walked away. We left. This is the worst McDonald's we have been in, in any country and a very poor reflection on the brand.
