Drive thru got order wrong 3 out of 5 times wanted plain cheese burger got plain burger complained and got crap answer

Always something missing from the order without fail. When delivered missing items, when visiting missing items,going through the drive through missing items. Needs to employ people that actually care and want to do their job well.Needs better supervision.

Waited 20 mins for completion of my drive thru order that never arrived at my car. Then went in and after complaining had to wait another 15 mins whilst they recooked it - because the original was just left on the shelf "because we couldn't find you". I was parked up in their car park, as requested. I had a child waiting for me, standing on their own 3 miles away in the town centre, in the rain. It was supposed to be a treat. Never again. Fast (not), tasty (not), hot (not) food. And I got one diet coke and what normal coke - with no signage to tell me which was which. Not impressed. Indifferent staff just a conveyor belt. It's not improved in all the years ...

Visited with Grandaughter to have MacFlurries which were very clearly advertised as being on SALE! When ordering was told 'were not doing them' - No apology or explanation, then asked if there was any Ice Cream. Response was 'we aint doing them either' Customer Service was atrocious, staff very rude and very clearly badly trained.

Very poor service first they didnt have half of our order then we had to wait nearly 20 mins (with very few parking spaces) only to get cold food this seems to be coming normal accross most Mcdonalds unless im just unlucky of your that busy close your drive through untill you can cope with fast food

two 15 minute waits for basic breakfast menu at the drive through. Worst McDonalds I have ever been to, can't even wrap the food correctly.

I stopped by the other day and was served by Samantha who clearly needs to learn how to speak to people. I don't know if customer service exists where she comes from down south (you could tell by the accent) she was incredibly rude!! My meal was wrong but she insisted that it was me who was wrong I even had the receipt she is clearly incompetent and should not be working in the customer service industry. McDonald's must be really desperate if she was their best choice I will not be going back until they sort themselves out!! Its a shame as I love rather locally I'd rather use Selby or Thorne they are much better.

Ordered a Big Tasty no bacon no Bbq sauce received a Big Tasy with Bacon( can't eat bacon for religious reasons) and BBQ sauce how difficult is it?? Then as leaving to take to my car they had forgotten the chips. Didn't realise the issue with my Big Tasty until i had hot home otherwise i would have taken it back.

Called in Saturday lunchtime, was really busy. After picking up order I sat down to eat and within minutes I was approached by a staff member and told I shouldn't be sat at that table as it was reserved for there delivery drivers. She then proceeded to lecture me and told me I must not sit there again. I glanced to see her name badge, however she informed me she wasn't wearing her badge so she couldn't be reported. I am a paying customer and will not be returning any time soon. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

Went through drive through this evening, wasn’t busy when I pulled up but was ask to park up. After 20 minutes of no food, trying to flag down 2 members of staff, I got my son out of the van (which you couldn’t really miss as it’s big and I was sat with lights on). We went inside and was met by a member of staff who was very rude, they handed over our food with no apology. Was assured it was still warm as was sat under a heat lamp. I got my son strapped back into the van to then find it lukewarm at best! At this point I’d had enough and gave up and drove off to get food elsewhere. Shocking customer service!

This is our local McDonalds Restaurant 10 minutes roughly from my home. My meal was wrong again when I got home, I asked for a cheese only burger before work and I got mustard and Gherkins the works. I was nearly sick when I took a bite of my burger (Good Job I'm not allergic to anything isn't it) ! I rang to speak with the manager that apologized and kindly said I could have a free meal next time. Last night I went to McDonalds for tea and was very rudely spoken to by the manager Beth who said there's nothing she could do as I wasn't in the book. I told her the day that I visited and my full name and address and also told her that it wasn't my problem if you have incompetent Managers in the business. She then said the manager had left so there nothing she could do. I am very unhappy about this situation as I felt humiliated in the drive through and also feel like I've been robbed! The staff seem very young and unprofessional and if you go to another McDonalds restaurants you get a lot better service and your meal is correct. Not happy at all with the customer service!

This is my local mcdonalds 10 mins from my house, I would say we go maybe once a week on average, and no word of a lie I would say 90% of the time they get something wrong with our order. Not just little things either, I'm talking about them forgetting items we paid for, getting items wrong, almost every time without fail. For example, these things have all happened here: I ordered a sausage and egg mcmuffin and recieved an egg mcmuffin, ordered a double cheeseburger, received a single, have asked for no lettuce, it shows as 'no lettuce' on the receipt, had lettuce in it, they never ever give us the dip that is supposed to come with the cheese bites. Add to this, they also ALWAYS send us to sit and wait in the bay, even when it doesn't seem that busy, even for simple orders. These experiences have all been through drive through, but add to this, I have been in to the restaurant (to ask about missing items) and seen the staff play fighting one another, one was shouting to another member of staff in a jokey way. They're all teenagers, and are just messing about; which is understandable if nobody is holding them accountable. All of these things suggest to me that it is being TERRIBLY managed. Listened to the reviews you see here: avoid this mcdonalds at all costs, it is the worst I have ever been to. Drive 20 mins out of your way to go to the Thorne one instead if you want your order to be accurate and served by staff who have been trained and care about quality.

The food is always standard McD`s - nice . But we`ve been here many times and the place is always clean and tidy including the toilets . Staff are "Spot on" . Nice place for a welcome break .

Had a family meal/party at this restaurant in September. Whilst there had to wait for family to arrive, so we were at the restaurant for 1 hour 48 minutes whilst everyone turned up. Imagine my horror when days later I received a parking fine of £50 which will go up to £100 if not paid within 14 days. I find this daylight robbery when I spent nearly £40 in their restaurant. We never noticed any parking signs, and my friend who was in his own car received a fine as well. I regularly ate at McDonald's, but never again if that's how they treat their loyal customers.

Terrible and unorganized place , firstly how can place like this run out drinks Next staff shouting at each other in back unprofessional. Lastly they set fire something fire alarms going off , we all looked at each other shall be leave or what then some time later staff member stated it is ok . Not be coming here again

Went to mc Donald’s with my partner and ordered our food I was on my way to work and had to drop my partner off straight after we had our food so didn’t have much time. We went through the drive through and got two Big Mac meals we asked for paper napkins as we never get any even though it shouldn’t be hard to put these in the bag. When we set off my partner checked the meals as we always do and our burger was thrown upside down our chips was like soggy and mushy. We had no napkins I mean what a joke I’d only just asked for them. My partner then called to complain as this had spoilt our meal and £15 chucked down the drain. The manager on the phone apologised and offered us a free meal on the phone and said she was writing our name in the book, as she knew we couldn’t turn round and go get another one as I was on my way to work. A few days later me and my partner called back in and decided to sit in. My partner went upto the desk with our receipt we had from the order and I heard her say there’s no number and noName in the book. They was talking that loud that all the restaurant could hear them which was rude and unprofessional, I got up as thought it was causing a scene and I asked the manager to explain she said that the other manager that took the phone call had not written it down in the book, so they couldn’t do anything about it. Even though we had the date the time and everything on our receipt and the phone call phoning them that day. So because a manger can’t even follow an instruction that’s as simple for a chimpanzee to follow, we didn’t even get our free meal and was treated with disrespect, I will never visit this mc Donald’s ever again and advice other people not to. It’s the worse one by far!!! The head office apologised and said they would get to the bottom of it.

Poorly served shocking terrible served cold Bagels breakfast unappetising 10 pounds thrown into the bin dont waste your money ,MCDONALDS response at head office was sorry hopefully it wont happen again sadly that did nothing for my very poor breakfast this morning.

Don’t go here if you want fast food.. called 7.45 am Saturday morning for a drive through breakfast, told to park.Literally EVERY car from drive through also parked, how difficult is it to have breakfast ready?20 minutes later after having tried every other car the food was brought to us and we were told they’d written number plate wrong.Food was cold, greasy and no serviette provided.Without a doubt the worst McDonalds we have ever visited and to be avoided.

I would not recommend you to park here if you are planning a relaxing breakfast or lunch as you now only have 1 hour 30mins if like me you was 1 hour 40mins then you get a £50 fine and the manager or mcdonalds will do nothing to help even if you have proof of purchase so i would consider using some other caring establishment or if you must use this place inform the manager that you're stopping longer or park around the corner. Me personnely will never use Mcdonalds ever again which will cost them more

Once again the milk shake is thin and overflavoured. The chips were cold. At least this was one of the rare occasions I wasn’t asked to wait in the car park for my order of a regular menu item. This place really is the worst McDonald’s for miles around.

Thought we would call in for something as not been in for a while. Chose to sit in. On entering we noticed a lot of tables gone to make room for those self service touch screens, that everyone dirty hands touch and Then eat.We ordered our food at the counter as normal and I looked for a free table. There was none and hardly any tables to speak of anyway. The new children’s bit has a long table and tablets for them to play, taking up a large area. My belief is you are going out to eat not sit and play technology, like they do at home. What’s wrong with colouring in. So this large space is then taken up with families sitting twice as long due to the children being occupied. On getting our food there was still no table free and had to wait 5 mins with our food getting cold. Come on Mac Donald’s this is a fast food eating place, more tables, more people, quicker turnover. And please get rid of those dirty self service screens, personal service is far better.

Usual quick stop for fast food. Clean & edible but nothing outstanding. Typical McDonalds. Staff are polite and tables clean but busy with a lot of commercial travellers.

Arrived before midnight on 31 December advertised as 24 hours

I have in the past used this place regularly to have a break and occasionally meet up with a customer. I arrived had a coffee did some emails and then my customer came. So I made two purchases and was there for 1 hour 55 minutes. I achieved a£50 fine for staying over 1hour 30 mins. I am sure there are signs up saying this but this is not somewhere where people will park and go off anywhere else. I understand the Manager can ask for this to be cancelled. I called and said I could send receipts to show I made 2 purchases. Not interested. I said then I would be unlikely to ever go again. Thats fine she said.

Yet again, missed items from my order. Had this happen more times than I can count. Chips were clap cold as were the nuggets. Staff always lovely and friendly but food more times than not just isn’t up to scratch here.

we have travelled a lot and visited McDonalds in a lot of Cities and Countries, this is a good restaurant, always very busy they get it right, the food is hot and the service excellent; we probably visit about fortnightly and would recommend to anyone

Stopped here when travelling to and from the Yorkshire Coast as it is a good place to stop located just off the Motorway.

We have just visited on our way back from a fireworks display and I had to post a review based on the staff serving us tonight. All Brilliant. Raven was the guy who served us. Great manners and service. All the staff seemed to get on Brilliant

Everything you would expect from a McDonalds. Only problem is a lack of parking, whether that be because you're eating in the restaurant or driving through.

Otro MD'S, un poco más pequeñas que no se llena en temporada alta, y Vacaciones de niños. Comida tan buena como otros MD. Aparcamiento un poco estrecho a veces.

We stopped off for a snack and coffee and found this McDonald's to be very busy with almost a full car park and queues at the drive through.Services however was quick and the wrap of the day good value at £1.99 each. Coffee was good too. Ideal for a place to stop when travelling as located just off the motorway.

Freshly cooked breakfast wraps... just what was needed for an early start! This Maccyd never does, in my opinion, disappoint.

Long journey overnight and needed something to take away the hunger pangs and warm us up... coffee was excellent and the food was not bad either... well worth a visit!

Visited here and ordered a Flurry, Coke, (without Ice0 and a Caramel Frappe. Asked the server to leave out the Chocalate pieces from the flurry and to have the Cokewithout Ice! Response was to look gone out at me and then say 'cant do it pal, not how it comes' Told him that as he had to add the choccy it was simple to leave them out, and in that case that I didnt want it. Grumbled, moaned and then served me. Then looked at me and said your not getting the coke without Ice, 'thats not how we do it'Whils this is going on a your girl staff member who is listening rather than serving someone else chips in with comment 'awkward customer' Between them, (now appearing to combine as a double act, they then serve four other customers with Coffees before completing the order!This is my FINAL lesson learnt at this place! Quite simply they both needed sacking and replacing with far more selected and capable staff!!!!!!This is now the second time recently where the same sort of thing has happened, IT WONT AGAIN.What a way to enhance the McDonalds brand and reputation..........

Called for food on way to withersea got served quickly friendly staff food was great kids enjoyed there breakfast . Good service for a bank holiday too was really busy

This has to be the worst McDonald's I have ever been too. Male toilets had urine all over the seat, ordered breakfast-the muffin was left on tray getting cold, so I had to ask to take it, hen I did it was tasteless and hard. I had to ask for the hash brown and also for a spoon for the porridge which was watery. Only spoon they had was so small I couldn't eat it.All bins in the car park were literally overflowing on a grand scale with stuff piled up on top of them.I couldn't believe how bad this was for a chain as big as McDonald's

First I don't like the location, I don't find handy? Then I think the staff not very friendly and not bothering and the burger and chips not even warm?

Called in for a Flurry, Iced Coffee and a cornet for Granddaughter. Ordered inside as very long queue at drive through. Mistake....... Staff appeared to be suffering from chronic exhaustion moving that slow.....

It's no coincidence that when you go in store that your order is always correct but when you go through the drive through there is always at least one thing wrong or not there! then your heading down the motorway unable to complain because they deliberately don't answer the phone.I would call this stealing! Leaving someone without a meal or something they don't like!They even go as far as putting things in the wrong wrapper so you can't check quickly.Horrible service!

Im sat at a dirty uncleared table (they're all the same) with chips and mess all around. No napkins, bins overflowing and had to wait ages for food. Its not even busy.

Called in tonight ,the burger was cold the bun stale and the doughnut I could have played football with it.Even my travelling companion my jack Russell refused to eat any.Rather disappointing as usually the food is hot.I don't go to MacDonald's very often but certainly will not be going back to this one.

I was visiting family up north and we decided to call in to this McDonald's for lunch, the food was hot and tasty and the staff were very polite and friendly, the staff who were cleaning the eating area even chatted to us while they worked which was very nice, I would recommend this McDonald's both for food and service 5/5

Very disappointed. After a long day at work I was looking forward to having a nice meal. I went through the drive through and found that the Big Tasty with Bacon was back in. I went to the speaker and was told that not only had they ran out of Big Tasty meat, they also didn't have any apple pies ready either, so I got nothing that I originally wanted. Very disappointing!!!

Called in on way back from a long motorway journey. Food standard score on doors was 5 stars. Warm and welcoming with friendly staff, efficient service. Place was busy but soon received food. At least with McDonalds you know what you are getting and there are usually no surprises. Clean tables and clean modern toilets. This is one of the best McDonalds we have been in and is a real credit to the brand. Would that all motorway services were as good and as reasonably priced as this.

Visited on a Sunday lunch time. As expected, it were very busy but staff handled the amount of people well and we were served promptly and food brought to us quickly too.Typical McDonalds food, not much more to say. Staff friendly, food good; which is much better than last time when it was quiet and the staff nor food was that good! Still didn't put enough mayo on my Legend however!

The staff at Goole are a friendly bunch and try that bit harder than most McDonald's to give good service.

It's hidden away just of the junction but it's in a good location for the m62 as there is very little else for a few junctions. It can get busy on a weekend but the new extended drive through makes the traffic management much better in the car park. The food is standard McDonald's

Have just visited this McDonald's for the Bank Holiday weekend. The food was good as usual, staff were friendly and polite and the place itself was very clean and tidy. Not many parking spaces there however you could always use the nearby pub car park or street parking. Will return if in the area.

Why didn't we learn from our pervious vist a few months ago. We took our little nephews for breakfast and it was very quite but took 20 mins to pour over hot water and by the time there brought it over the other food was just luke warm. We should have complained but didn't have the time. But we will not return

We took my nephews as a treat for lunch waited ages food was. Awful staff started cleaning floor where we was sat whilst we ate terrible then my nephew found a melted bit of plastic in his chips showed a me,ber of staff only explanation we got was its JUST off the burger wrappers and gave us some more chips terrible we will never go again

Last night was bonfire night and Goole's is organised by the local council and so the £2 admission per person is good value.We arrive very late to catch the fireworks and then drove to the local McDonalds restaurant. Now I have lived in the Goole area for about 8.5 years and have never been here before, mainly because it's outside Goole near the local Beefeater and Shell garage and a bit out on a limb, but it was really nice, if a bit smaller than the average restaurant. Now here's the weird bit, the toilets are massive compared to the all the other McDonald's I have visited recently in Doncaster and Manchester. I like the food at McDonalds, because you know in advance that it's not going to be nutritionally perfect, but it's good comfort food and their coffee is really good (better than Starbucks anyway, which is just awful).If you are travelling to Hull or away from Hull and don't want expensive motorway services, this could be a place to stop for a break.The restaurant was very busy last night and full of families with young children, but you cannot expect anything else really.

Having Children I end up visiting a lot of McDonalds all over the country at some time or other. This one has a lovely feeling about it...the staff at this one actually seem to interact and have fun and seem to be 'cared' for - there was no stress between them, no tension and the service was friendly and efficient. Other restaurant managers in the franachise/chain should visit and lean something from the management of this site because, trust me , a happy working environment like this is down to only one thing - great people skills and time devoted on them by a good managerWe only had McFlurries but the quality of the product was better than one we'd had the day before in another restaurant.These people should be proud of themselves as a team.

This is the friendliest mcdonalds we have been to. We always come here on our way to filey from Sheffield, which is about 4 times a year. Every time we come here they always give our little girl a balloon. The staff are always pleasant.

Friday was the first time I've been thru the drive thru and received everything I'd ordered. Countless other occasions have proved epic fails on macdonalds part, so this was quite spectacular. It's a shame this is just a one off, unless something drastic has happened staff wise? It's now a habit - order, collect, drive thru car park, pull over to check order, huff in disgust, then spend 15 minutes in the restaurant explaining what's missing from my order whilst the rest of it gets cold.

We stop off here on our weekly commute from Lancashire to (East) Yorkshire... we have only had one bad meal and the staff put it right there and then... its why we keep going back... quality and value!

Had breakfast here this morning and the staff and service was the worst ever. Food was same as anywhere else but staff couldn't give a care about the paying customers. We won't be entertaining this McDonalds again. Management needs to be looking at these reviews

I personally think this is better just out of town as it means you don't get people hanging around needlessly.The crew are pretty decent and most are always friendly and happy to sort out wrong orders etc.It's always clean and tidy which is not something you see at every fast food place, especially McDonalds.

Spotty kids and lax management make this one of the worst of this franchise. Some of the antics of the staff almost give anyone with Health and Safety expertise a heart attack. Older staff have a could not care less attitude when they should be setting an example.

Of all the McDonalds I use, and I do travel up and down the country a lot, the McDonalds at Airmyn is the best in the country. The staff are brilliant, the restaurant is one of the cleanest I have ever been in and the food is always presented well. The best Hot Chocolate in Britain.

It's McDonalds. What more can you say? If you crave junk food, then it's the only major player in the area. Apart from needing a quick takeaway next to the M62, then I cannot think of any other reason to go. If you have time to sit down, go to the Aire and Calder on the same site for something half decent.
