Fantastic customer service. I went in to McDonald’s today and was greeted by a lovely young man called Owen, I was having trouble with my app and he went out of his way to help me, he didn’t have to, it’s not his job but nonetheless he was so helpful and polite, he is a credit to McDonald’s and I’m sure his family, all the staff at this branch are always friendly but Owen went that extra mile to help me, thankyou very much Owen you made my day 😁

Man called Matthew was extremely rude in the collecting window telling me I should be concentrating on what he’s doing rather than talking to my significant other. As someone who used to work for McDonald’s for numerous years I know this is no where near the customer service standard that should be met with every customer. It has really disappointed me seeing someone doing a job I used to love with so little respect for customers.

I ordered one simple cup of tea - 25 minutes wait and 30 orders behind the queue I decided to give up and leave my drink behind. Totally under staffed and truly disgusting service. For one simple cup of tea. Won’t be going back as this establishment is clearly badly managed.

The young lad on at around 3am today who took our order. Has some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen. He’s a real asset to McDonald’s. We did try to look for a name badge but don’t think there was one . So please let the young lad know how brilliant he is 👍🏻

On 16th April our order was completely wrong, was mixed up with another order we found out when we arrived home after 20 minutes drive. Called the store and talk to the manager. She asked for our name and phone number to put us on the book so we can collect the order another time when we pass the same store. We back there on 6th of May but our name wasn’t in the book. The manager asked so many questions at the end she said can’t help you and didn’t give us the order. We had to pay again.

Went through drive through ordered can’t even get the order correct, ended up getting not what I ordered and no straws for drinks, decided to give them a ring to complain and guess what they don’t even answer the phone, thought we’d give the a second chance as last time the did the same and charged us £70 for 4 meals as they decided to add loads of food that we didn’t even order Get management to sort the hull stores out

Apparently that is 2 large frys also have to check your hot chocolate is right they don't check the machine is working properly and it's more like dish water

Visit most weekends through the 'drive thru.' I would suggest that McDonald's stop advertising milkshakes when the machine is never working, 5 of my last 6 visits the machine was 'broken'.

Visited the restaurant this morning at the drive thru and was so shocked by the rude and appalling attitude of a crew member I felt I had to leave a review. My friends and I ordered some breakfast items , one of which was a bacon roll meal. I asked when ordering if they could cook the bacon for a little longer so it was well done and the young man taking the order just replied with "yeah yeah". when I went to the window after the payment window we were handed our drinks and asked to go to another window further down to wait for the food. I then asked the girl again who was handing out food and drinks if she could please check they got the message to make the bacon well done, to which she replied, "we don't do that". I said I always request to well done at other restaurants and they do it and she said "well we can't, it you just get it as it comes. We can't change how it's cooked" I said well other stores just put it in the oven again for a little longer, I know it can be done because I always ask for it and also my daughter used to work for McDonalds and she said they can do that. she replied with "well we don't" and shut the window. We drove on to the next window to collect the food and it was the same girl who basically threw the bag out of the window and gave the most horrible deadly look towards me. So bad even my friends (mature ladies) said oh my god did you see the way she glared at you then! I then looked at the bacon in the roll and couldn't believe how under cooked it was. She must of told then it put the least cooked pieces of bacon into it.

Was served by a lovely girl called Mia today she was so polite and ensured i got everyting i wanted on my order. she was very quick and efficient, excellent service. 10/10 would come again

Visited during the evening rush, service was still excellent. Dining area could've been cleaner, as we decided to eat in, and the floor and tables were quite filthy. All-in-all, to be expected from a McDonald's during a busy time.

This is the worst (fastfood supplier) ever!! I have just been paid and the food isn't even cooked! The effort of the staff is low to the point ill be stopping going to mcdoanlds you can tell when trying to eat the food they have had my product on the over grill side and haven't been bothered to do fresh! Sick of this mcdonalds to the point I won't be returning!!

No people about to help machine did not Recognise me as touch so could not order so nothing had to leave

I regularly use this restaurant and its always excellent. Once my order was incorrect, it was replaced without hesitation. Friendly manager (Nicole) and good staff. Best mcdonalds in Hull.

Dirty, managers are just mean and shout at workers and literally no work is done. Dirtiest place I've been in a long while.

Decided to visit the restaurant following their reopening in the corona virus outbreak. Granted there were safety measures to protect against corona. However it seems they’ve foregtten their food safety measures. Found two huge hairs in the McFlurry,. Will not be visiting again!

Why is McD's so popular I always wonder. It is full of sugar, salt, preservatives and, even though you put on weight just looking at one of their burgers from the opposite side of the street, leave you needing more food ten minutes after eating Problem is, they taste so good - mostly due to being so full of salt and sugar I guess.

Kingswood restuarant in hull the Asda store one is absolutely freezing inside why in cold weather do they have the aircon constantly blowing . The place is always nice and tidy and floor staff always nice . It's a shame it no heat in there at all at times it actually warmer outside

Service very fast, staff very friendly. Clean tidy food hot. Very good price. Plenty of parking. We had the breakfast menu. I love there hot chocolate.

Went in tonight, purchased some food with some hard earned money just to be served food were my oasis was warmer than the food it’s self,shambles,wouldn’t recommend!!!

In my opinion, food quality should be the same any time of day or night. We visit this McDonalds on a monthly basis, sometimes more so I can definitely say that when 3 of us visited at 2am, the quality was very poor. We ordered a 3 chicken select meal with chocolate milkshake, quarter pounder with cheese meal and Diet Coke and also a Big Mac meal with Diet Coke. The chips were cold, the chicken select was mostly deep fried bread crumbs rather than chicken and the coke tasted weird to say the least.

Went to get a fast takeaway meal. Drive thru, got the meal and was really impressed by the speed, efficiency of the staff. The meal was quite good, thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly. Well done

Really enjoyed the Big Mac meal from here and the service was fast so I didn't have very long to wait for it.

We picked up a drive through the other night and were astounded to discover that three large fries was actually one large fries distributed across three boxes.We complained to McDonalds and they provided a voucher as a goodwill gesture but come on people - we were hungry and one lot of fries between all of us just wasn't good enough!

its always clean its always fast it can get busy around the usual times and parking can be an issue, the only thing you call this place for is getting out of it in a car

I was in the area and hangry (low blood sugar emergency effects my emotions). The world doesn’t need to deal with that and McDonalds helped out graciously. There was a bit of a line in the drive thru but they were extremely efficient about getting people in and out. Thank you for your speedy service it was greatly appreciated. The fries were excellent as always too.

Went through drive through with orders for 8 people , most of whom wanted different things. Didn’t need to wait long and thankfully the whole order was correct.

Yet again we were told to "park up and wait". On this occasion we ordered a Big Mac Meal, and a Chicken Nugget Happy meal. These must be the two fastest selling items on their menu. . . Why they haven't got these on the rack and ready to go is completely beyond me. We sat in the car park for nearly ten minutes with other waiting customers before a young lad brought the order out, with no apology. This is not how any other McDonalds I've visited operates, and I will never visit again.

Typical Mc Food - great staff - all very smiley and even had my tray taken so I didnt have to clear up! A nice new outlet and ultra efficient

Order food at the new screen where you can look at everything and choose what you would like. You can also have some food like cheese, tomatoes took out.

Manager who I think was called Luke is very rude, does not know the meaning of respect& not to mention how he treats people and his own staff. He doesn’t know how to manage the store so I don’t see why he is even manager So you wait like 10 minutes for your meal for it to be cold& than he says that if you don’t like it maybe you should eat somewhere else. How disrespectful. He needs to improve on his customer skills, that’s if he even has any!

Used the drive thru to order a couple of Mcflurries. Service was very fast and we enjoyed the ice cream although it nothing special - you know what you're getting with McDonald's.

I've visited the St Andrews branch many times both 'eating in' and 'driving thru'. The restaurant service inside is as you'd expect at any McDonalds, but the drive thru service and waiting times are often terrible. If I've ordered an item that is maybe not a faster seller, and I've very often been asked to park the car and wait, now this in itself wouldn't be a problem if the service thereafter was fairly prompt, but it can often take around ten minutes before a staff member ambles out with the order. Always check your bag contents here, as they seem to have a nasty habit of missing out ordered and paid for items.

The last 5 or 6 of times I have visited this Mcdonalds I have gone to the drive through and been asked to park up and wait for my meal... the last time there were so many cars that we had nowhere to go. It was ridiculous and everyone was waiting 10 minutes! It's fast food? It's called a drive through? The food was hot thank god or I'd have mimicked the scene out of Falling Down.

Macdonalds King Edward street always helpful, place so clean even when busy. Nothing is too much trouble, staff carry my tray as I have a walker.

Quick chicken nuggets and fries before our trip to Bruges!! Went through the drive thru. Very quick getting your meal ordered. Lady came over to us as we had to wait for the nuggets! Nothing wrong with that.They're always busy!

We went for a meal, with 11 year old twins, their mum & Dad, myself, place lovely & clean, staff well polite, food & drink was lovely and hot.

not a frequent visitor of these places but we thought we would visit for something different myself and my wife were feeling hungary immediately regretted it left there feeling hungary after a 'big' mac and fries ! won't be returning !

Came all the way here for a toy and they did not have it dispite it saying on the net. Wasted petrol and food was cold too

As most places in the chain are the same it is the small differences that make or break a visit. Here the staff could do with paying a bit more attention to the customers, but apart from that all was as expected.

How hard is it to get an order right. Maybe if the staff weren't stood chatting about who earned 20p more and looked at what they were putting on the trays it would be better. Food was nice when it was right, and restaurant was nice and clean. Hope this is a one off

Nice decor - flash automated order points - upgraded entirely inside. Too busy for the number of people flocking in so its get it, eat it, and leave, as fast as you can - not very relaxing. Good coffee - not sure about the quality of the cheap cheeseburger

Visited on way home from day out with daughter in hull. Used drive thru. Order came through perfectly and quickly. No issues at all

Took family for tea last night. BIG MISTAKE. I don't go here much and now remember why.l opted for the flagship big mac.... Big disappointment.the resemblance to the picture on the wall fell well short as did the meal itself. It was cold tasteless flat & incipid and the bun was like eating a bath sponge. Sorry Mackie D,s but you won't be seeing me again.Ever.

1am and nothing else open so off to MaccyDs for a coffee and a burger... cheap and cheerful as i only do the pound menu.. but products were good and the Mc flurry was excellent!

This was the first time I had been in to a McDonalds where you placed your own order on a touch screen and paid and then stood about waiting for the order to be processed....just like Argos but without the conveyor belt from upstairs! In fairness it worked ok and it is a far better use of the staff's time. You can still go to the counter and place the order there if you want but there were 6 or 8 big screens to play with so it would almost have been churlish not to give it a go. A three minute wait and there you go. I chose to eat it in my car and like a good lad I deposited the rubbish in the bin rather than just drop it out of the car window like they do around the private car park adjacent to the one in Stretton, Burton-on-Trent....which, incidentally, is closed for refurbishment at the moment....guess what they will have when they reopen???!!! DIY screens!!

It great now service fast and love the fish and cheese burger we both enjoy food love every bit and chips

Staff could do with a good brush down. Maybe something that will wake them up. Other customers put me off getting a coffee as they were saying the wait is that long it would be cold. Mm beer of staff with long nails and long hair. Scratching his face before service. Poor poor attempt for a McDonald's

No fuss, quick delivery to table after ordering my breakfast on the Mute.It's never going to be a Restaurant, it's a Café at best. It's Fodder not Food... it's greasy and unhealthy and sometimes that's exactly what I want and it fulfilled my requirements!Can't complain, but it'd never be my choice to celebrate an occasion here or at any other McDonald's!I would have no hesitation to call again. A Clean, Tidy and well run establishment are always pre-requisites in which to eat.

On my way to the airport, thought id grab a cheeseburger and coffee for the trip,having a free coffee through their sticker club I thought best to pop in rather than drive through...BEST decision ever!!Walked in,greeted,then asked...Would you like to take part in being a tester for McDonalds as they would like to know your thoughts on some new burgers....Heck yes I would,so tried,tasted lovely,filled out few forms and got my free coffee,happy days.Away from the free food,always found this site a good one and being visiting here for 20 some years ish...

Very slow service, only ordered 2 coffees order number 24, could not understand why all the food orders were getting served before me, 25 to 30 were all served with drinks etc yet I had to wait, and they had drinks with their orders. No apology offered !, perhaps if I ordered food would have got served quicker.

Went to McDonalds at St Andrews Quay. Been many times before with no issues. Since the last visit it's been refurbished but that doesn't excuse the disgusting burgers on this occasion. The kids chicken nuggets were ok but the 2 quarter pounders were barely warm, the cheese was not melted, swimming in tomato sauce, no salad or gherkin & 2 tiny pieces of onion, the fries were also barely warm. On taking them back we were intercepted by one of the staff asking if everything was OK. She agreed they were not upto standard and arranged replacement. This time at least the fries were hot but the only difference with the burger was the added gherkin. It was clear from the interception that they didn't want a complaint at the serving area. Won't be using this establishment again.

Over the years this has been our go to McDonald's for a treat every now and then, and I must say over the past year or so it has been hugely improved. After a long period of being closed for renovations you can see why. How with computerised ordering stations the queues are minimal, the staff are friendly and service is quick!

Having visited several times i have found Mcdonalds and ok place to visit especially if your in a rush or want a quick bite too eat. However the new system has caused quite a few problems as when you order at the till you have to wait a good 5mins for your order. Also staff can be rude specially if you ask for sauce behind the counter.. they seem to think this is Gold and force you to use the self service pumps. Also staff are quite pushy when it comes to wether i pay at the till or the new computer screens.

Its mostly on par with any other store in the chain - only downside is that its drivethru is VERY popular, and this can take away from the walk-ins - Lately, since the introduction of the automated self ordering systems, you have no idea where to stand to wait for your order, its rather more than chaotic

This is my favourite Macdonalds "restaurant" as we always stop here when arriving back in the UK off the ferry. There is a carpark nearby which is good for the caravan tuggers amongst us.This week we chose the bacon-roll breakfast with a coffee and milkshake. All cooked well, and hot. Many thanks!

Fast food in a modern recently updated restaurant. Clean and pleasant interior. Food and drinks always good value for money.

Very good food , should have a Michelin star , we only went for a drink and ended up having a starters, main and dessert , fantastic.

Went for tea mid week about 7pm. Not at all impressed with the new ordering system. Too few staff taking too long to get your food. Food left waiting on a shelf for ages until a member of staff decided to bring it to us. Items missing from the order, mcflurry 's had melted. Staff wandered around aimlessly trying to find people who had ordered the food - we saw this fail on quite a few occasions. The new system is very ineffective and inadequate. This really is not fast food. Won't be eating in here again.

I have been here since its 'make-over' and ate in. Wasn't greatly impressed with the food and assumed it was because it had just opened. Everything was only just warm. Returned about a month later, reluctantly, and tried the drive through instead as we had the dog with us. Big mac meals with milkshake, twice. It took all of 5 minutes, if that, to get home with it. It was absolutely disgusting. The burger was slightly warm and the chips was stone cold and tasteless. The strawberry milkshake was like mushy ice-cream and where the strawberry juice was, I do not know! What a waste of £10. I don't do the complain thing with food, as it just upsets the moment and the atmosphere. I just do not return ever! What a shame this establishment has allowed itself to get run down like this. If only the BOSS would visit it for himself one day, I am sure he would be ashamed and turn it around! Burger King gets our vote every time now and I don't normally like Burger King!

I visited the drive thru on Friday at approx 5.30pm the restaurant and drive thru were both very busy, I had 2 young children with me we collected the food and then went to park and eat the food, all 4 portions of chips were cold and looked like they had been ready for 30 minutes! The que in the drive thru was by this point half way round the car park and I could not leave the children in the car alone. We then went back through the drive thru to get ice-creams and I mentioned about the poor standard of the chips one of the staff got the manager (a young girl) who bluntly said you should have brought them back - why should I?? You pay for food and expect it to be edible! The manageress then went on to inform me that she could not be everywhere and then juist walked off! No apology no offer of a refund! I find this completely rude!

We have this as a treat and we enjoy it. It's cheap too and nice after a family day out. The staff work very fast. I highly recommend this McDonalds.

Just like an other uk burger joint, but with added chance of getting shot. Famous for its drug gang shooting or so I believe. Clean like all of them.

Popped in Saturday night for something to eat after visiting the Fair. OH went to order while the children and I went to sit down. The whole of the seating areas were filthy, food and wrappers covered all the tables and the floors, totally disgusting! Bins were full to overflowing. Oldest child thought there had been a riot in there. If the public areas were like this I dread to think what the kitchens are like. Food was barely warm.Member of staff chained off the area where we and several other groups were seated. At no time during our visit was any cleaning done and no one could dispose of their own rubbish as all bins full to overflowing. Never, ever, ever will I go to this place again. Disgusting. Owner of this franchise should hang their head in shame! Sort it!!

A portion of chips hotter than the actual burger which apparently was freshly made? Laughable. Mouldy crumbs on the window sills... I'd like to point out hiring a new cleaner is cheaper than getting shut down, sort it out and sort it QUICK.

Visited here early evening. It is a big restaurant - but unfortunately the cleaning staff had cordoned off at least three quarters of the area. And it wasn't opened up after they'd finished cleaning!! The restaurant is open 24/7 and from all our previous visits we know it is extremely busy. However, with so much of the place closed off - all the customers were sitting on top of each other. This made our visit very unsatisfactory as - the same as with most McDonald's - there were a considerable number of young people using it as somewhere to sit (without, of course, buying anything). We were sitting next to three young people. Two boys and a girl - we overheard their entire (incredibly boring) conversation - and watched as the boys vied for the attention of the girl!! The fries - typically McDonald's - were cold and I had to take them back. How come Mankind can travel to the outer reaches of the Solar System - and yet you can't get hot fries at McDonald's!! Even as we speak - the cleaning girl has closed off even more of the restaurant - in fact there are now NO seats left anywhere. We asked the girl about it - and she said the restaurant was closing at 1.00am for work to be carried out. This was at 10.50pm. Over 2 hours before the restaurant was due to close. Effectively - it is now take-out only - and yet it is supposed to be open till 1.00am. We are regular visitors here - but this is the worst we have ever seen it. Obviously - the staff must have a different agenda to the management!!

ordered a breakfast wrap meal from mc donalds this morning. the restraunt was empty at the time i arrived assumed the food would be made to order. While standing the que i notice the staff pick the hash brown from the fryer to add onto my meal., gosh knows how long had sat there waiting but as expected it was cold! come on mc donalds you know better!

Always bad service.very disconnected staff.they really don't want to be there! There uniforms always messy and dirty. Food is always cold.maybe 8/10 times we've had it cold. We genuinely spend over£150a week as its on the way to work for 4 people who travel together 5 days a week.i made a complaint the other day about how unprofessional he was being with his too laid back attitude.he went to his colleges and started whispering and talking while our food that was done wrong twice was sitting on the side while they rectified the rest of the order. Bad service ,the manager really needs to shake the staff up and get rid of some as it didn't look to us they even wanted to work.shame really plenty of people would be grateful to have a job but not at this store. Not a good advert for macdonalds or the person who is running this specific store. At the time being we won't be using again until I hear it's changed significantly.

They are making a young pregnant women run around carrying heaving things and cleaning every place possible. They are also shouting her name every single minute for her to do another job. I don't think this is very fair because there is a pregnant manager and they don't make her do a single thing that could hurt the baby so I only think it is fair for them to treat the staff the same.

Called here today for a quick bite and tried my contactless payment for the first time.Everything went smoothly, ordered ok although the order area for the drive through is very tight, got to the window to pay and was keen to try my new payment method for the first time which worked a treat on my app but unfortunately didn't show on the restaurants system due to a user error by their staff.I was made to feel like I was trying to not pay despite my app saying payment had been taken and after very little discussion was told by the manager I would have to return if the payment had in fact gone through! I paid for the second time in cash and drove to the next window!On arrival at the collection window the staff member handed me a bag of food as ordered and a hot latte only to be shouted at by the staff for 'snatching'!! A hot drink??? I don't think so!! The staff here were not happy that I had questioned the payment method and they really did let me know it!On returning home I chased up the contactless payment which was still showing as paid and was advised the staff at McDonald's had not finished the sale on their system which was why it was showing as pending and they reversed the payment no problem so thanks McDonald's but you really need to retrain your staff on Customer service skills and on the new payment systems available to the general public!The food was OK but I was so angry and upset by this experience that I wasn't hungry when I arrived at my destination.Such a shame!
